Expansive Homoclinic Classes of Generic C~1-Vector Fields

Let γ be a hyperbolic closed orbit of a C~1 vector field X on a compact C~∞ manifold M of dimension n≥3,and let HX(γ)be the homoclinic class of X containingγ.In this paper,we prove that C~1-generically,if HX(γ)is expansive and isolated,then it is hyperbolic.

Bi-Lyapunov Stable Homoclinic Classes for C~1 Generic Flows

We study bi-Lyapunov stable homoclinic classes for a C~1 generic flow on a closed Riemannian manifold and prove that such a homoclinic class contains no singularity. This enables a parallel study of bi-Lyapunov stable dynamics for flows and for diffeomorphisms. For example, we can then show that a bi-Lyapunov stable homoclinic class for a C~1 generic flow is hyperbolic if and only if all periodic orbits in the class have the same stable index.     

SHADOWING,EXPANSIVENESS AND SPECIFICATION FOR C~1-CONSERVATIVE SYSTEMS

We prove that a C~1-generic volume-preserving dynamical system(diffeomorphism or flow) has the shadowing property or is expansive or has the weak specification property if and only if it is Anosov.Finally,as in[10,27],we prove that the C~1-robustness,within the volume-preserving context,of the expansiveness property and the weak specification property,imply that the dynamical system(diffeomorphism or flow) is Anosov.

三角域上C~2连续的分片插值多项式在实际中有广泛的用途.若边界具有约束,上述多项式一般不低于9次,而5次多项式一般只能达到C~1连续.本文提出三角域上C~2连续的二元五次多项式存在的充要条件,并给出数值实例以显示如何运用本文结果来构造这类多项式.
