In this paper, we study the cascading failure on weighted urban traffic equilibrium networks by introducing a more practical flow assignment mechanism. The whole process including edges overloading to node malfunctioning, dynamic spanning clustering and the phase transitions trigged with O-D flow evolving is simulated. It is found that there are three districts: slow, fast and stationary (collapse for scale-free networks) cascading failure districts. And different topologies have large effects on the ranges of these districts. Simulations also show that, although the latter can support larger traffic flow, homogeneous networks appear to be more robust against cascading failures than heterogeneous ones.  相似文献

This paper studies the cascading failure on random networks and scale-free networks by introducing the tolerance parameter of edge based on the coupled map lattices methods. The whole work focuses on investigating some indices including the number of failed edges, dynamic edge tolerance capacity and the perturbation of edge. In general, it assumes that the perturbation is attributed to the normal distribution in adopted simulations. By investigating the effectiveness of edge tolerance in scale-free and random networks, it finds that the larger tolerance parameter λ can more efficiently delay the cascading failure process for scale-free networks than random networks. These results indicate that the cascading failure process can be effectively controlled by increasing the tolerance parameter λ. Moreover, the simulations also show that, larger variance of perturbation can easily trigger the cascading failures than the smaller one. This study may be useful for evaluating efficiency of whole traffic systems, and for alleviating cascading failure in such systems.  相似文献

提出带有应急恢复机理的网络级联故障模型,研究模型在最近邻耦合网络,Erdos-Renyi随机网络,Watts-Strogatz小世界网络和Barabasi-Albert无标度网络四种网络拓扑下的网络级联动力学行为.给出了应急恢复机理和网络效率的定义,并研究了模型中各参数对网络效率和网络节点故障率在级联故障过程中变化情况的影响.结果表明,模型中应急恢复概率的增大减缓了网络效率的降低速度和节点故障率的增长速度,并且提高了网络的恢复能力.而且网络中节点负载容量越大,网络效率降低速度和节点故障率的增长速度越慢.同时,随着节点过载故障概率的减小,网络效率的降低速度和节点故障率的增长速度也逐渐减缓.此外,对不同网络拓扑中网络效率和网络节点故障率在级联故障过程中的变化情况进行分析,结果发现网络拓扑节点度分布的异质化程度的增大,提高了级联故障所导致的网络效率的降低速度和网络节点故障率的增长速度.以上结果分析了复杂网络中带有应急恢复机理的网络级联动力学行为,为实际网络中级联故障现象的控制和防范提供了参考.  相似文献

The cascading failure often occurs in real networks. It is significant to analyze the cascading failure in the complex network research. The dependency relation can change over time. Therefore, in this study, we investigate the cascading failure in multilayer networks with dynamic dependency groups. We construct a model considering the recovery mechanism.In our model, two effects between layers are defined. Under Effect 1, the dependent nodes in other layers will be disabled as long as one node does not belong to the largest connected component in one layer. Under Effect 2, the dependent nodes in other layers will recover when one node belongs to the largest connected component. The theoretical solution of the largest component is deduced and the simulation results verify our theoretical solution. In the simulation, we analyze the influence factors of the network robustness, including the fraction of dependent nodes and the group size, in our model. It shows that increasing the fraction of dependent nodes and the group size will enhance the network robustness under Effect 1. On the contrary, these will reduce the network robustness under Effect 2. Meanwhile, we find that the tightness of the network connection will affect the robustness of networks. Furthermore, setting the average degree of network as 8 is enough to keep the network robust.  相似文献

模块性(modularity)是度量网络社区结构(community structure)的主要参数.探讨了Watts和Strogatz的小世界网络(简称W-S模型)以及Barabàsi 等的B-A无标度网络(简称B-A模型)两类典型复杂网络模块性特点.结果显示,网络模块性受到网络连接稀疏的影响,W-S模型具有显著的社区结构,而B-A模型的社区结构特征不明显.因此,应用中应该分别讨论网络的小世界现象和无标度特性.社区结构不同于小世界现象和无标度特性,并可以利用模块性区别网络类型,因此网络复杂性指标应该包括 关键词: 模块性 社区结构 小世界网络 无标度网络  相似文献

现实中的许多复杂网络呈现出明显的模块性或社团性.模块度是衡量社团结构划分优劣的效益函数, 它也通常被用作社团结构探测的目标函数,但最为广泛使用的Newman-Girvan模块度却存在着分辨率限制问题,多分辨率模块度也不能克服误合并社团和误分裂社团同时存在的缺陷. 本文在网络密度的基础上提出了多分辨率的密度模块度函数, 通过实验和分析证实了该函数能够使社团结构的误划分率显著降低, 而且能够体现出网络社团结构是一个有机整体,不是各个社团的简单相加.  相似文献

We investigate the connection between the dynamics of synchronization and the modularity on complex networks. Simulating the Kuramoto's model in complex networks we determine patterns of meta-stability and calculate the modularity of the partition these patterns provide. The results indicate that the more stable the patterns are, the larger tends to be the modularity of the partition defined by them. This correlation works pretty well in homogeneous networks (all nodes have similar connectivity) but fails when networks contain hubs, mainly because the modularity is never improved where isolated nodes appear, whereas in the synchronization process the characteristic of hubs is to have a large stability when forming its own community.  相似文献

In this paper, the whole dynamical process of cascading failures in a class of scale-free coupled map lattices (CML’s), from the occurrence of attack to the end of failure propagation, is investigated. A dynamical model of cascading failures, based on synergetic theory, is constructed. Numerical simulations show that the macroscopic properties of the scale-free CML’s during cascading failure propagation are governed by the general laws of synergetics. This result will be useful in furthering the studies of the prediction and prevention of cascading events in many real-life complex networks.  相似文献

To find the fuzzy community structure in a complex network, in which each node has a certain probability of belonging to a certain community, is a hard problem and not yet satisfactorily solved over the past years. In this paper, an extension of modularity, the fuzzy modularity is proposed, which can provide a measure of goodness for the fuzzy community structure in networks. The simulated annealing strategy is used to maximize the fuzzy modularity function, associating with an alternating iteration based on our previous work. The proposed algorithm can efficiently identify the probabilities of each node belonging to different communities with random initial fuzzy partition during the cooling process. An appropriate number of communities can be automatically determined without any prior knowledge about the community structure. The computational results on several artificial and real-world networks confirm the capability of the algorithm.  相似文献

In the practical wireless sensor networks(WSNs), the cascading failure caused by a failure node has serious impact on the network performance. In this paper, we deeply research the cascading failure of scale-free topology in WSNs. Firstly,a cascading failure model for scale-free topology in WSNs is studied. Through analyzing the influence of the node load on cascading failure, the critical load triggering large-scale cascading failure is obtained. Then based on the critical load,a control method for cascading failure is presented. In addition, the simulation experiments are performed to validate the effectiveness of the control method. Tunable wavelength routers (TWRs) for multiple wavelength selection are key devices in dynamic wavelength-routing wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) networks. In this paper, by cascading conventional 2×2 TWRs, a new 1×K TWR is proposed for large-scale dynamic wavelength-routing WDM networks. When the cascading numbers are smaller, the 1×K TWR can be directly applied to networking WDM networks. When the cascading numbers are larger, the 1×K TWR can be carried out by the integrating method and be extensively used to networking various multi-wavelength optical networks by the way of “EDFA+TWR”. Though the cascading method proposed is based on the acousto-optic TWRs, it can be also applied to cascading other kinds of TWRs.  相似文献

以电力系统的停电事故为例,提出一种节点具有能量耗散和扩容行为的级联故障模型,并分别在二维规则网络和无标度网络上对该系统的演化过程进行计算机模拟.结果表明,在两种不同结构的网络中系统的演化过程都出现了自组织临界现象,说明网络中节点能量的耗散及容量的扩充是导致电力系统出现自组织临界现象的重要因素.此外,还发现无标度网络中的最大级联故障规模要远大于二维规则网络中的级联故障规模.  相似文献

为了深入研究复杂网络抵制连锁故障的全局鲁棒性,针对现实网络上的负载重分配规则常常是介于全局分配与最近邻分配、均匀分配与非均匀分配的特点,围绕负荷这一影响连锁故障发生和传播最重要的物理量以及节点崩溃后的动力学过程,提出了一种可调负载重分配范围与负载重分配异质性的复杂网络连锁故障模型,并分析了该模型在无标度网络上的连锁故障条件.数值模拟获得了复杂网络抵制连锁故障的鲁棒性与模型中参数的关系.此外,基于网络负载分配规则的分析以及理论解析的推导,验证了数值模拟结论,也证明在最近邻与全局分配两种规则下都存在负载分配均匀性参数等于初始负荷强度参数即β=τ使得网络抵御连锁故障的能力最强.  相似文献

Clustering and community structure is crucial for many network systems and the related dynamic processes. It has been shown that communities are usually overlapping and hierarchical. However, previous methods investigate these two properties of community structure separately. This paper proposes an algorithm (EAGLE) to detect both the overlapping and hierarchical properties of complex community structure together. This algorithm deals with the set of maximal cliques and adopts an agglomerative framework. The quality function of modularity is extended to evaluate the goodness of a cover. The examples of application to real world networks give excellent results.  相似文献

Community structure is an important feature in many real-world networks, which can help us understand structure and function in complex networks better. In recent years, there have been many algorithms proposed to detect community structure in complex networks. In this paper, we try to detect potential community beams whose link strengths are greater than surrounding links and propose the minimum coupling distance (MCD) between community beams. Based on MCD, we put forward an optimization heuristic algorithm (EAMCD) for modularity density function to welded these community beams into community frames which are seen as a core part of community. Using the principle of random walk, we regard the remaining nodes into the community frame to form a community. At last, we merge several small community frame fragments using local greedy strategy for the modularity density general function. Real-world and synthetic networks are used to demonstrate the effectiveness of our algorithm in detecting communities in complex networks.  相似文献

We introduce a new algorithm for modularity-based community detection in large networks. The algorithm, which we refer to as a smart local moving algorithm, takes advantage of a well-known local moving heuristic that is also used by other algorithms. Compared with these other algorithms, our proposed algorithm uses the local moving heuristic in a more sophisticated way. Based on an analysis of a diverse set of networks, we show that our smart local moving algorithm identifies community structures with higher modularity values than other algorithms for large-scale modularity optimization, among which the popular “Louvain algorithm”. The computational efficiency of our algorithm makes it possible to perform community detection in networks with tens of millions of nodes and hundreds of millions of edges. Our smart local moving algorithm also performs well in small and medium-sized networks. In short computing times, it identifies community structures with modularity values equally high as, or almost as high as, the highest values reported in the literature, and sometimes even higher than the highest values found in the literature.  相似文献

How to control the cascading failure has become a hot topic in recent years. In this paper, we propose a new matching model of capacity by developing a profit function to defense cascading failures on artificially created scale-free networks and the real network structure of the North American power grid. Results show that our matching model can enhance the network robustness efficiently, which is particularly important for the design of networks to deduce the damage triggered by the cascading failures.  相似文献

Complex networks are widely applied in every aspect of human society, and community detection is a research hotspot in complex networks. Many algorithms use modularity as the objective function, which can simplify the algorithm. In this paper, a community detection method based on modularity and an improved genetic algorithm (MIGA) is put forward. MIGA takes the modularity QQ as the objective function, which can simplify the algorithm, and uses prior information (the number of community structures), which makes the algorithm more targeted and improves the stability and accuracy of community detection. Meanwhile, MIGA takes the simulated annealing method as the local search method, which can improve the ability of local search by adjusting the parameters. Compared with the state-of-art algorithms, simulation results on computer-generated and four real-world networks reflect the effectiveness of MIGA.  相似文献

The problem of dividing a network into communities is extremely complex and grows very rapidly with the number of nodes and edges that are involved. In order to develop good algorithms to identify optimal community divisions it is extremely beneficial to identify properties that are similar for most networks. We introduce the concept of modularity density, the distribution of modularity values as a function of the number of communities, and find strong indications that the general features of this modularity density are quite similar for different networks. The region of high modularity generally has very low probability density and occurs where the number of communities is small. The properties and shape of the modularity density may give valuable information and aid in the search for efficient algorithms to find community divisions with high modularities.  相似文献
