Ti containing mesoporous MCM-41 materials have been synthesized through two methods: heating and non-heating [room temperature (RT)]. The synthesized materials have been characterized using X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared, nitrogen sorption, and X-ray fluorescence methods and their thermal stabilities evaluated using thermogravimetric methods in inert atmosphere. The thermal stabilities have been analyzed based on the synthesis method, as well as on the amount of titanium in the MCM-41 materials. The thermal stability results suggest that uncalcined MCM-41 materials generally show higher mass loss than their calcined counterparts. Also, the RT-synthesized materials showed lower stability than the high-temperature synthesized samples for the uncalcined samples. It is also been found that MCM-41 materials show improved thermal stabilities as the amount of titanium is increased.  相似文献

Conformation stabilities of intramolecular triple-helical DNAs (intra-tnplex DNAs: 5-d(TC)6-d(T)m-d(CT)6-d(C)n-d(AG)6-3',where m and n are chosen to be 4 and 3) have been examined by molecular mechanics.The four intra-triplexes (H-DNAs) are compared with the mtermolecular triplexes d(TC)6 * d ( AG)6 d(CT)6.The results revealed that loops do not significantly influence the mtratriplex conformations,loop conformations,however,depend partly on its length.Loop also makes strand Ⅱ of every intra-triplex DNA longer than that of the inter-triplex DNA.Most of residue sugar conformations of triple-helical DNAs are S-type,there aiso exist,however,N-type conformation and the conformations between S-type and N-type Possible models of the five triplex DNAs are presented.  相似文献

A supramolecular hydrogel(defined as G1) formed from 1,2,4,5-benzene tetracarboxylic acid (BTCA) and 2-amino-3- hydroxypyridine possessed higher T_(gel) than that of another hydrogel(defined as G2) formed from BTCA and 3-hydroxypyridine. Based on the analysis of their xerogels by ~1H NMR,IR and XRD,the higher stability of G1 was attributed to the formation of stronger hydrogen binding enhanced by the ortho amino group of 2-amino-3-hydroxypyridine.  相似文献

It was shown that the presence of magnesium cations in the reaction mixture increases, approximately twofold, the activity of bacterial Escherichia coli and yeast Kluyveromyces lactis β-galactosidases but does not affect the activity of bovine liver and fungous Penicillium canescens β-galactosidases. The catalytic constants for E. coli and yeast K. lactis β-galactosidases in the presence of 0.01 M and in the absence of Mg2+ cations were determined (490 and 220 s?1 and 59.8 and 37.4 s?1, respectively). It was shown that the Michaelis constants for these two enzymes are higher in the presence of Mg2+ cations, that the thermal stability of E. coli and K. Lactis β-galactosidases is higher in the presence of 0.01 M Mg2+, and that the effective rate constants of thermal inactivation of the enzymes are two-to eightfold lower, depending on conditions, in the presence of Mg2+ cations. The maximum stabilizing effect of magnesium cations was observed at weak alkaline pH values (7.5–8.5).  相似文献

Autooxidation of five polyphenols representing range of different hydrophobicities(catechin gallate (CG),(-)catechin((-)C),epicatechin(EC),epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG)and epigallocatechin(EGC)) in three different aqueous solutions:molecular solution,micellar solution(Tween-20)and liposomal dispersion(soybean lecithin)was monitored by HPLC.The rate of oxidation of the five polyphenols was higher at pH 4.5 than at pH 3.5.Compared with the control,addition of Tween-20(micellar structure)and lecithin(liposomal structure)significantly decreased the degradation of polyphenols.In the presence of lecithin the autooxidation of all the five polyphenols was slower than in the presence of Tween-20. The effective protection of the colloidal structures was compared with the hydrophobicity of the poly- phenols estimated from the partitioning between octanol and water.The protection from oxidation in the presence of the colloidal structures(micellar or liposomal)increased with increasing partitioning of a polyphenol towards the hydrophobic environment.The protecting effect of the colloidal structures was more effective at pH 4.5 than at pH 3.5.  相似文献

The thermodynamic stability of the LaBr 4 ? anion was for the first time studied by high-temperature mass spectrometry and nonempirical quantum-chemical methods. The experimental and theoretical enthalpies of the reaction $ LaBr_4^ - = Br^ - + LaBr_3 The thermodynamic stability of the LaBr4 anion was for the first time studied by high-temperature mass spectrometry and nonempirical quantum-chemical methods. The experimental and theoretical enthalpies of the reaction were Δr H°(298.15 K) = 302 ± 14 and 303 kJ/mol, respectively. Thermal behavior and thermodynamic characteristics of vanadyl β-diketonates—acetylacetonate VO(acac)2, dipivaloylmethanate VO(thd)2, and tris-hexafluoroacetylacetonate VO(hfa)2 (Hacac, 2,4-pentanedione; Hthd, 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5-heptanedione; Hhfa, 1,1,1,5,5,5-hexafluoro-2,4-pentanedione)—have been studied by thermal analysis and the Knudsen effusion mass spectrometry study of gas phase composition. The compounds have been shown to undergo congruent sublimation. Saturated vapor over the complexes has been shown to comprise monomeric VOL2 molecules. Absolute values of partial pressures and sublimation enthalpies of these compounds have been determined.  相似文献

A logarithmic expression is proposed to describe relaxation of the polar order in side chain polymers,together with a new way of plotting temperature dependent relaxation data.This results in a straight line extending even below the glass transition temperature in the case of poled nonlinear optics (NLO) side chain polymers.A simple procedure to determine the rotational diffusion constant Dr is given and Dr values of several polymer systems have been evaluated and compared with each other.It appears that,starting from the conventional and well known poled polymer system currently applied,a further lowering of Dr by about 3 orders of magnitude is necessary in order to reach an acceptable orientational stability or lifetime of poled polymers for practical applications.Attempts have been made to introduce electron push-pull substituents into high thermostable molecular frameworks and results of preliminary measurements are reported.  相似文献

Thermal behavior of highly crystalline ε-Fe2O3 nanoparticles of different apparent crystallite sizes was characterized using thermogravimetry, differential thermal analysis, and analysis of evolved gas by mass spectrometry. Phase composition of the samples was monitored ex situ by X-ray powder diffraction. The results show that the thermal stability of this metastable iron oxide polymorph decreases with increasing particle size. For the particle diameter of 19(2) nm, the transformation temperature was equal to 794(5) °C, while for 28(2) nm only 755(10) °C. Surface of the nanoparticles contained adsorbed water and carbon dioxide. Elimination of these species proceeds in two steps. Water is removed at temperatures below 200 °C and CO2 in the temperature range between 200 and 450 °C.  相似文献

Loss- and gain-of-function transgenic models are powerful tools for understanding gene function in?vivo but are limited in their ability to determine relative protein requirements. To determine cell-specific, temporal, or dose requirements of complex pathways, new methodology is needed. This is particularly important for deconstructing metabolic pathways that are highly interdependent and cross-regulated. We have combined mouse conditional transgenics and synthetic posttranslational protein stabilization to produce a broadly applicable strategy to regulate protein and pathway function in a cell-autonomous manner in?vivo. Here, we show how?a targeted chemical-genetic strategy can be used to alter fatty acid metabolism in a reombination and small-molecule-dependent manner in live behaving transgenic mice. This provides a practical, specific, and reversible means of manipulating metabolic pathways in adult mice to provide biological insight.  相似文献

Simultaneous thermoanalytical techniques were used for the characterization of the thermal decomposition of ketoprofen??active substance and tablets. DTA and DSC curves showed that ketoprofen melts before the decomposition. A kinetic study regarding the ketoprofen??active substance??s thermal decomposition was performed under non-isothermal conditions and in a nitrogen atmosphere at five heating rates: 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10 and 15 °C min?1. The kinetic parameters of thermal decomposition process were obtained from TG/DTG curves using the following differential methods: Friedman isoconversional, Chang, respectively, integral methods: Flynn?CWall?COzawa, Kissinger?CAkahira?CSunose, Coats?CRedfern and Madhusudanan. The careful treatment of the kinetic parameters obtained in certain thermal conditions was confirmed to be necessary as well as a different strategy of experimental data processing.  相似文献

β-carotene, the most abundant carotenoid in nature and a natural antioxidant, has been added at a concentration of 2 × 10−4 g per mL of polymer film forming solution to three biopolyester matrices, poly(lactic acid) (PLA), polycaprolactone (PCL) and polyhydroxybutyrate-co-valerate (PHBV). The dispersion and stability of the antioxidant within the films was studied using confocal Raman imaging spectroscopy, colorimetry and UV/visible spectrophotometry. The films were characterized in terms of thermal and mechanical properties in comparison with control films without β-carotene. Addition of β-carotene to the three biopolyesters studied resulted in significant increases in the deformation at break and lower Young modulus. This antioxidant is thought to act as a plasticizer in the biopolyesters, thus increasing their free volume and causing a change in their thermal properties. Moreover, when exposed to UV light the mechanical properties of the films with β-carotene were less affected displaying, in general, higher modulus and similar ultimate tensile strength while keeping the films more ductile than the pure films. Therefore, β-carotene can be potentially used as a natural additive to increase the UV stability of the biopolyesters.  相似文献

Combustion instability of O2/kerosene, O2/kerosene/hydrogen, and O2/kerosene/hydro-gen spray flame is numerically studied. The numerical results of combustion self-oscillation are consistent with the historical experiments. Hydrogen is helpful to stabilizing oxygen/hydrocarbon combustion. High gas injecting velocity of the coaxial injector would increase the combustion stability. Contrary to the former expectation, the most sensitive region for combustion instability is not where the heat releases most intensely but is the low-temperature premixed region near the injectors. According to the simulation, the technology steps, such as adding catalyzer to decrease the reaction activity energy, or improving the injector design to reduce the premixed low temperature region, would improve the combustion stability.  相似文献

For better understanding the chemical or biological information of ZNF191(243-368), we expressed the fusion protein of GST and ZNF191(243-368), and used it to obtain the binding DNA sequence of this zinc finger protein. But in the process of expression and purification, we found this fusion protein slowly degradated. For resolving this problem, we simultaneously added charged amino acids L-Arg and L-Glu to the solution of fusion protein, and demonstrated that this method can dramatically increase the stability of this fusion protein. This method can make the fusion protein suitable for the continuous works, especially for situations where high protein concentration and long-term stability without precipitate and degradation of protein are required.  相似文献

A method for obtaining conjugates of -amylase with a trypsin inhibitor and separating them into fractions has been developed. Two fractions have been obtained—thermostable and thermolabile. The thermostable fraction retained about 80% of its amylase activity after incubation at 50°C for 2 h, with activation of the enzyme during the first 30 min. The structural characteristics of silylenoids, H2SiMX, where M = Li or Na and X = F or Cl, have been studied by ab initio calculations. H2SiMX can be represented as adducts of silylene H2Si with alkali metal halogenides, MX. The associative energies at different calculational levels of various structures of H2SiMX are given. Effects of metallic and haloid atoms on the stability of various structures of H2SiMX are also discussed in this paper.  相似文献
