Several complex (and all the known real) “quadratic” super-integrable systems in the Euclidean plane are obtained taking as a starting point the quadratic super-integrability of several potentials of Drach defined in the pseudo-Euclidean plane and having a constant of motion cubic in the momenta. In a similar sense, the Holt potential is shown to be a (real) Euclidean version of one of the three remaining intrinsically “cubic” pseudo-Euclidean Drach potentials  相似文献

The Stäckel separability of a Hamiltonian system is well known to ensure existence of a complete set of Poisson commuting integrals of motion quadratic in the momenta. We consider a class of Stäckel separable systems where the entries of the Stäckel matrix are monomials in the separation variables. We show that the only systems in this class for which the integrals of motion arising from the Stäckel construction keep commuting after quantization are, up to natural equivalence transformations, the so-called Benenti systems. Moreover, it turns out that the latter are the only quantum separable systems in the class under study.  相似文献

New types of relationships between Feynman integrals are presented. It is shown that Feynman integrals satisfy functional equations connecting integrals with different values of scalar invariants and masses. A method is proposed for obtaining such relations. The derivation of functional equations for one-loop propagator- and vertex-type integrals is given. It is shown that a propagator-type integral can be written as a sum of two integrals with modified scalar invariants and one propagator massless. The vertex-type integral can be written as a sum over vertex integrals with all but one propagator massless and one external momenta squared equal to zero. It is demonstrated that the functional equations can be used for the analytic continuation of Feynman integrals to different kinematic domains.  相似文献

We study the interbasis expansion of the wave-functions of the Kaluza-Klein monopole system in the parabolic coordinate system with respect to the spherical coordinate system, and vice versa. We show that the coefficients of the expansion are proportional to Clebsch-Gordan coefficients. We analyse the discrete and continuous spectrum as well, briefly discuss the feature that the (reduced) Kaluza-Klein monopole system is separable in three coordinate systems, and the fact that there are five functionally independent integrals of motion, respectively observables, a property which characterizes this system as super-integrable.  相似文献

A recently derived approach to the tensor reduction of 5-point one-loop Feynman integrals expresses the tensor coefficients by scalar 1-point to 4-point Feynman integrals completely algebraically. In this Letter we derive extremely compact algebraic expressions for the contractions of the tensor integrals with external momenta. This is based on sums over signed minors weighted with scalar products of the external momenta. With these contractions one can construct the invariant amplitudes of the matrix elements under consideration, and the evaluation of one-loop contributions to massless and massive multi-particle production at high energy colliders like LHC and ILC is expected to be performed very efficiently.  相似文献

In this paper a criterion for a metric on a surface to be Liouville is established, and it is given in terms of differential invariants of the metric. Moreover, here we completely solve in invariant terms the local mobility problem of a 2D metric, considered by Darboux: How many quadratic in momenta integrals the geodesic flow of a given metric possesses? The method is also applied to recognition of higher degree polynomial integrals of geodesic flows.  相似文献

By applying the lightlike Eisenhart lift to several known examples of low-dimensional integrable systems admitting integrals of motion of higher-order in momenta, we obtain four- and higher-dimensional Lorentzian spacetimes with irreducible higher-rank Killing tensors. Such metrics, we believe, are first examples of spacetimes admitting higher-rank Killing tensors. Included in our examples is a four-dimensional supersymmetric pp-wave spacetime, whose geodesic flow is superintegrable. The Killing tensors satisfy a non-trivial Poisson–Schouten–Nijenhuis algebra. We discuss the extension to the quantum regime.  相似文献

We present a systematic method for reducing an arbitrary one-loop N-point massless Feynman integral with generic 4-dimensional momenta to a set comprised of eight fundamental scalar integrals: six box integrals in D = 6, a triangle integral in D = 4, and a general two-point integral in D space-time dimensions. All the divergences present in the original integral are contained in the general two-point integral and associated coefficients. The problem of vanishing of the kinematic determinants has been solved in an elegant and transparent manner. Being derived with no restrictions regarding the external momenta, the method is completely general and applicable for arbitrary kinematics. In particular, it applies to the integrals in which the set of external momenta contains subsets comprised of two or more collinear momenta, which are unavoidable when calculating one-loop contributions to the hard-scattering amplitude for exclusive hadronic processes at large-momentum transfer in PQCD. We consider Lotka–Volterra systems in three dimensions depending on three real parameters. By using elementary algebraic methods we classify the Darboux polynomials (also known as second integrals) for such systems for various values of the parameters, and give the explicit form of the corresponding cofactors. More precisely, we show that a Darboux polynomial of degree greater than one is reducible. In fact, it is a product of linear Darboux polynomials and first integrals.  相似文献

We show that if certain Poincaré-like integrals are conserved, then to each configuration coordinate of a system an entity can be associated that is an acceptable generalization of the notion of canonical momentum: In the particular case of standard mechanics, the canonical momenta are retrieved. Under certain general restrictions, the Poincaré momenta make sense for either mechanical or general systems for which we do not have (or are not aware of) entities (like the Lagrangian) that are generally used to define the momentum. The Poincaré momentum may also make sense for systems whose characteristics are difficult, or impossible, to reconcile with the notion of the usual canonical momentum. It is also relevant for certain cases where a Lagrangian exists, but it leads to a mixture of physical and unphysical entities. In particular, we show that while physical canonical momenta do not generally exist in the new Nambu mechanics (because of the dimensionality of state vector space), the Poincaré momenta exist, they are physical, and have the properties we could have expected for the mechanics.  相似文献

New algorithms are presented for evaluating the scalar one loop integrals for three- and four-point functions for arbitrary masses and external momenta. These formulations are useful both for analytic integration and for numerical evaluation in a computer program. The expressions are very compact and provide for an easy isolation of asymptotic behaviour and potential numerical problems. The tensor integrals have also been rewritten according to new algorithms, making it very easy to express amplitudes in terms of scalar loop integrals.  相似文献

Exact symmetries of the unperturbed (linear) part of the dynamical systems are determined. Resonance conditions which lead to the symmetry-breaking of the symmetries of the unperturbed part are obtained. The second-order approximate symmetries of the one degree of freedom, damped-driven oscillators are found. By employing an approximate version of Noether's theorem, second-order approximate first integrals are obtained for undamped oscillators. The results are discussed on the contour plots of the first integrals.  相似文献

In this paper we propose new examples of conservative systems on S 2 possessing cubic integrals in momenta. We obtain a classification of a large class of such systems. In this Letter we study some aspects of the relationship between the existence of Darboux polynomials and additional polynomial first integrals in natural polynomial Hamiltonian systems with a finite number of degrees of freedom. More precisely, first we improve results of the paper of Maciejewski and Przybylska [A.J. Maciejewski, M. Przybylska, Phys. Lett. New types of equations for Feynman integrals are found. It is shown that the latter satisfy functional equations that relate integrals with different kinematics. A regular method for obtaining such relations is proposed. A derivation of the functional equations for one-loop two-, three-, and four-point functions with arbitrary masses and external momenta is given. It is demonstrated that the functional equations can be used to analytically continue Feynman integrals to various kinematical domains.  相似文献
