The title problem is treated by a new method which allows a straightforward derivation of a Fredholm system of governing integral equations. An important feature of these equations is the fact that there is no need to solve the system in order to assess certain integral characteristics like, for example, the total charge at each disk. A good accuracy of this assessment is confirmed by a numerical solution of the system of integral equations. Some previously published numerical results are corrected. In this article, the identification of an unknown time-dependent source term in an inverse problem of parabolic type with nonlocal boundary conditions is considered. The main approach is to change the inverse problem to a system of Volterra integral equations. The resulting integral equations are convolution-type, which by using Sinc-collocation method, are replaced by a system of linear algebraic equations. The convergence analysis is included, and it is shown that the error in the approximate solution is bounded in the infinity norm by the norm of the inverse of the coefficient matrix multiplied by a factor that decays exponentially with the size of the system. To show the efficiency of the present method, an example is presented. The method is easy to implement and yields very accurate results.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider an initial‐boundary value problem for a parabolic equation with nonlinear boundary conditions. The solution to the problem can be expressed as a convolution integral of a Green's function and two unknown functions. We change the problem to a system of two nonlinear Volterra integral equations of convolution type. By using an explicit procedure on the basis of Sinc‐function properties, the resulting integral equations are replaced by a system of nonlinear algebraic equations, whose solution yields an accurate approximate solution to the parabolic problem. Numerical methods are proposed for solving some problems for a system of linear ordinary differential equations in which the basic conditions (which are generally nonlocal ones specified by a Stieltjes integral) are supplemented with redundant (possibly nonlocal) conditions. The system of equations is considered on a finite or infinite interval. The problem of solving the inhomogeneous system of equations and a nonlinear eigenvalue problem are considered. Additionally, the special case of a self-adjoint eigenvalue problem for a Hamiltonian system is addressed. In the general case, these problems have no solutions. A principle for constructing an auxiliary system that replaces the original one and is normally consistent with all specified conditions is proposed. For each problem, a numerical method for solving the corresponding auxiliary problem is described. The method is numerically stable if so is the constructed auxiliary problem.  相似文献

The time-dependent system of partial differential equations of the second order describing the electric wave propagation in vertically inhomogeneous electrically and magnetically biaxial anisotropic media is considered. A new analytical method for solving an initial value problem for this system is the main object of the paper. This method consists in the following: the initial value problem is written in terms of Fourier images with respect to lateral space variables, then the resulting problem is reduced to an operator integral equation. After that the operator integral equation is solved by the method of successive approximations. Finally, a solution of the original initial value problem is found by the inverse Fourier transform.  相似文献

The scalar problem of plane wave diffraction by a system of bodies and infinitely thin screens is considered in a quasi-classical formulation. The solution is sought in the classical sense but is defined not in the entire space ?3 but rather everywhere except for the screen edges. The original boundary value problem for the Helmholtz equation is reduced to a system of weakly singular integral equations in the regions occupied by the bodies and on the screen surfaces. The equivalence of the integral and differential formulations is proven, and the solvability of the system in the Sobolev spaces is established. The integral equations are approximately solved by the Bubnov-Galerkin method. The convergence of the method is proved, its software implementation is described, and numerical results are presented.  相似文献

The problem on the reflection of the field of a plane H-polarized three-dimensional electromagnetic wave from a perfectly conducting interface between media which contains a local perfectly conducting inhomogeneity is considered. To construct a numerical algorithm, the boundary value problem for the system of Maxwell equations in an infinite domain with irregular boundary is reduced to a system of singular integral equations, which is solved by the approximation–collocation method. The elements of the resulting complex matrix are calculated by a specially developed algorithm. The solution of the system of singular integral equations is used to obtain an integral representation for the reflected electromagnetic field and computational formulas for the directional diagram of the reflected electromagnetic field in the far region.  相似文献

A Dirichlet problem is considered in a three-dimensional domain filled with a piecewise homogeneous medium. The uniqueness of its solution is proved. A system of Fredholm boundary integral equations of the second kind is constructed using the method of surface potentials, and a system of boundary integral equations of the first kind is derived directly from Green’s identity. A technique for the numerical solution of integral equations is proposed, and results of numerical experiments are presented.  相似文献

A game with dynamics described by partial differential equations is considered. The equations of the players are additively represented on the right-hand side and are subject to integral or pointwise restrictions. The goal of the first player, who is informed of the instantaneous value of the control of his partner, is to bring the system into an unperturbed state. To solve the problem the decomposition method developed in [1] for a controlled system (with one player) is used. Three combinations of restrictions on the players are considered. In all cases the control of the first player is presented explicitly. The main complication, compared with the problem considered previously [1] is that this control consists of two terms estimated in different norms.  相似文献

We consider the diffraction problem for an elastic wave on a periodic set of defects located at the interface of stratified media. We reduce the mentioned problem to a pair summatory functional equation with respect to coefficients of the expansion of the desired wave by quasiperiodic waves (the Floquet waves). Using the method of integral identities, we reduce the pair equation to a regular infinite system of linear equations. One can solve this system by the truncation method. We prove that the integral identity is the necessary and sufficient condition for the solvability of the auxiliary overspecified problem for a system of equations in a half-plane in the elasticity theory. We obtain integral equations of the second kind which are equivalent to the initial diffraction problem.  相似文献

In this paper the linear theory of viscoelasticity for Kelvin-Voigt materials with voids is considered. The uniqueness and existence theorems for internal boundary value problem (BVP) of steady vibrations are proved by means of the potential method (boundary integral method) and the theory of singular integral equations. In this paper, the three‐dimensional initial value problem for elastic system in inhomogeneous orthotropic media is considered and an analytical method is studied to solve this problem. The system is written in terms of Fourier images of displacements with respect to lateral variables. The resulting problem is reduced to integral equations of the Volterra type, whose solution is obtained by the method of successive approximations. Finally, using the real Paley‐Wiener theorem, it is shown that the solution of the initial value problem can be found by the inverse Fourier transform.  相似文献

The method of solution continuation with respect to a parameter is used to solve an initial value problem for a system of ordinary differential equations with several limiting singular points. The solution is continued using an argument (called the best) measured along the integral curve of the problem. Additionally, a modified argument is introduced that is locally equivalent to the best one in the considered domain. Theoretical results are obtained concerning the conditioning of the Cauchy problem parametrized by the modified argument in a neighborhood of each point of its integral curve.  相似文献

In this article, an inverse problem of determining an unknown time‐dependent source term of a parabolic equation is considered. A mixed problem for a certain nonlinear third-order intregro-differential equation of the pseudoparabolic type with a degenerate kernel is considered. The method of degenerate kernel is essentially used and developed and the Fourier method of variable separation is employed for this equation. A system of countable systems of algebraic equations is first obtained; after it is solved, a countable system of nonlinear integral equations is derived. The method of sequential approximations is used to prove the theorem on the unique solvability of the mixed problem.  相似文献

The interaction of water waves with circular plate within the framework of a linear theory is considered. The plate lies on the free surface in water of finite depth. The integral transform technique is used to solve this problem. The problem is reduced to a system of dual integral equations for a spectral function. The way to solve these equations consists in converting them into Fredholm integral equation of the second kind. The asymptotic solutions of this equation are obtained. Representations for diffraction field and for the forces on the plate are given.  相似文献

使用边界积分方程方法,研究了三维无限弹性体中受非对称载荷作用的外部圆形裂纹问题。通过使用Fourier级数和超几何函数,将问题的二维边界奇异积分方程简化为Abel型方程,获得了一般非对称载荷作用的外部圆形裂纹问题的应力强度因子精确解,比用Hankel变换法得到的结果更为一般。结果表明:边界积分方程法在解析分析方面还有很大的潜力。  相似文献

The surface integral equation for a spatial mixed boundary value problem for the Helmholtz equation is considered. At a set of chosen points, the equation is replaced with a system of algebraic equations, and the existence and uniqueness of the solution of this system is established. The convergence of the solutions of this system to the exact solution of the integral equation is proven, and the convergence rate of the method is determined.  相似文献
