We present the analysis of experimental data that supports the recently presented hypothesis that the relationship between local areal density and local thickness in planar stochastic fiber networks may be described by the bivariate normal distribution. Measurements of the local averages of areal density and thickness have been made on experimental fiber networks with differing degrees of structural uniformity. The experimentally determined variance of local density at the 1 mm scale is in excellent agreement with that calculated from the theory. Also, the use of the bivariate normal distribution to describe the relationship between local areal density and local thickness measured in complete sampling schemes is appropriate for both near-random and clumped networks.  相似文献

 光纤陀螺测试中,随机游走系数的分析对陀螺整体性能的评价起着很重要的作用。分别介绍了分析光纤陀螺随机游走噪声的两种方法:Allan方差法和改进的Allan方差法。分别应用这两种方法,在对某型光纤陀螺(FOG)实测静态数据计算的基础上进一步分析了该光纤陀螺中的噪声分量,并对分析结果进行比较。最终计算结果表明:在增加计算时间为代价的前提下,改进Allan方差法能方便地区别出各种噪声,并明显提高了光纤陀螺各随机噪声游走系数的计算精度。  相似文献

要实现光纤陀螺在高精度惯性导航领域的应用,抑制随机漂移是需解决的一个重要问题。光纤陀螺的随机漂移包含不同分量,分析不同的分量的特性及其产生的根源,是进行补偿的前提。设计了光纤陀螺数据采集系统,采集了光纤陀螺静态数据。应用Allan方差法,求出了光纤陀螺随机漂移中的噪声分量,并分析了各项噪声来源、特性,指出了抑制噪声方法。  相似文献

随机漂移是影响光纤陀螺精度的主要因素之一,建立陀螺随机漂移模型以便在滤波时加以修正是提高系统精度的有效方法。针对传统随机漂移模型建模耗时长、过敏感等问题,提出基于Allan方差的光纤陀螺随机漂移模型。通过各噪声项的功率谱密度函数推导出随机微分方程,用Allan方差分析出光纤陀螺各噪声项量化参数,将量化参数代入以单位白噪声驱动的随机微分方程,得到随机漂移模型。实验结果表明,该模型拟合出的随机漂移单项噪声误差不超过8.6%,远低于传统模型产生的单项噪声误差58.3%,是一种有效的光纤陀螺随机漂移建模方法。  相似文献

传统的沿z轴光纤传输光线的轨道角动量(orbital angular momentum,OAM)光束的制备方法共同之处都是从内部结构着想,光束的主光线基本上不变,只是波面在变.但要获得携带高mh的光有一定的难度.针对上述问题,本文建立以波面不变,光束主光线变化为基础的理论框架,利用微分几何理论验证不沿z轴圆柱型光纤螺线圈传输的光线可以携带高mh OAM的理论设想.研究发现:利用流动坐标(α,β,γ)计算光线在绕圆柱体的光纤中传输时光纤截面的衍射分布图呈现涡旋特征,有高阶OAM模式.当θ=θ0时,圆柱形轨道光纤过渡到直线轨道光纤.计算光线沿直线传输时光纤截面的衍射分布图是Airy斑,即圆孔衍射斑,无高阶OAM模式.  相似文献

基于布里渊效应的分布式光纤传感器以其可在沿光纤中同时获得被测量场时间和空间上的连续分布信息,成为当前国际的研究热点。根据光纤中布里渊散射谱的传输特点和高精度特征提取的要求,提出了利用莱文伯-马夸特(L-M)算法调节权值的径向基函数神经网络(RBFN)对布里渊散射谱进行特征提取。通过与反向传播(BP)神经网络、五次多项式曲线拟合法和三次样条插值法进行预测比较,在中心频率为11.213GHz,权重比为4∶1的仿真散射谱模型中,本方法相对误差最小,仅0.0015179%,温度相对误差仅为0.152℃,且拟合度较好。在不同脉宽和不同温度下的同一检测系统中,前者的综合评价指标优于其他三种拟合方法。数值分析和实验研究均表明径向基函数神经网络适用于对布里渊散射谱进行拟合,有效提高了预测精度。  相似文献

The possibility to measure the velocity and size of individual bubbles in a high‐void fraction bubbly flow is investigated by using a four‐point optical fiber probe. The air bubbles have an initial spherical equivalent diameter ranging from 4 to 10 mm and the void fraction is up to 0.3. Firstly, single bubble experiments show that intrusiveness effects, i.e. bubble deformations due to the probe, are negligible provided that the bubble approaches the probe at the axis of the central fiber. A selection criterion is utilized for multiple bubble experiments. A good compromise can be found between the required accuracy, the duration of the measurements and the number of validated bubbles required for reliable statistical averaging. In an air‐water high‐void fraction vertical bubbly pipe flow, the void fraction obtained with the instrument is found to be in good agreement with both local single‐fiber probe measurements, and with the volume average void fraction obtained from pressure gradient measurements. The area average volumetric gas flow rate, based on the bubble velocity and void fraction as measured with the four‐point probe, agree with the measured gas flow rate. Also, the liquid velocity is measured by means of a laser‐Doppler anemometer, to investigate the slip velocity. The results show that reliable and interesting measurements can be obtained by using a four‐point optical fiber probe in high void fraction flows.  相似文献

The phase space diagram for parabolic and step index fibers leads to a graphic representation of the bound, leaky, and refracted rays of ray theory. This concept is used to predict the attenuation of typical components of local area networks. The technique uses power transfer matrices to track the evolution of power distribution in ray packets. In particular, we predict and then measure the power transfer of two ray packets for a step index fiber. The comparison is encouraging.  相似文献

A theoretical expression related to effective moisture diffusivity to random fiber bed is derived by using fractal theory and considering both parallel and perpendicular channels to diffusion flow direction. In this Letter, macroporous structure of hydrophobic nonwoven material is investigated, and Knudsen diffusion and surface diffusion are neglected. The effective moisture diffusivity predicted by the present fractal model are compared with water vapor transfer rate (WVTR) experiment data and calculated values obtained from other theoretical models. This verifies the validity of the present fractal diffusivity of fibrous structural beds.  相似文献

Although fiber spinning is known to reduce polarization mode dispersion (PMD) effects in optical fibers, relatively few studies have been performed of the dependence of the reduction factor on the strength of random birefringence fluctuations. In this paper, we apply a general mathematical model of random fiber birefringence to sinusoidally spun fibers. We find that while even in the presence of random birefringence perturbations the maximum reduction of PMD is still obtained when the phase matching condition is satisfied, the degree of PMD reduction and the probability distribution function of the DGD both vary with the random birefringence profiles.  相似文献

为了实现光导开关以MHz重复频率运行,设计了通过延迟产生MHz序列重复频率触发光的分光系统。分光系统由多根类蜂窝状排布的光纤组成并分为数组,各组光纤长度不同以产生时间序列。进行了光纤分光系统的理论计算,设计了分组程序,获得了各根光纤的输出端能量占比,实现了光纤输出端的分组设计优化。计算结果表明:当分光系统半径与激光器焦斑之比增大时,分光系统效率增高,达到一定数值后,分光系统效率趋于稳定;当激光器焦斑大小不变时,光纤层数增大,分光系统效率变小;当触发光脉冲数不变时,在一定范围内,光纤层数增大,输出端激光能量的最大相对误差变小。实验结果表明:四脉冲10 MHz分光系统实现了周期为100 ns的4个光脉冲输出,输出端能量最大相对误差6.80%,系统效率为38.07%。  相似文献

To improve the diffusion performance of reactive gas, a porous copper fiber sintered sheet (PCFSS) was fabricated and used as the flow field for proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). The pressure and flow velocity distribution of the reaction gas in the PCFSS was firstly compared with the serpentine flow field by using the Fluent simulation software. Our results showed that the superiority of PCFSS in the uniformity of gas diffusion was observed. The total resistance of PEMFC with PCFSS in different porosities was obtained. And the advantages of PCFSS in electronic transmission were found by comparing with the serpentine flow field. Besides, the influences of different operating conditions and different porosities of porous flow fields on the performance of PEMFC were experimentally investigated. With the cell temperature of 70 °C as well as the humidification temperature of 60 °C, a PEMFC with PCFSS of 70% porosity exhibited better performance.  相似文献

基于非线性耦合模方程,研究了非线性管理光纤光栅中的调制不稳定性,得到了调制不稳定性的色散关系。与常规的非线性光纤光栅相比,在非线性管理光纤光栅中,克尔非线性的变化改变了调制不稳定性增益谱的谱宽和幅度,并导致新的不稳定性区域的出现:在反常色散区,原来关于零波数对称的两个旁瓣随着克尔非线性变化的增加其增益幅度递减至零,在经历了一段无增益区域之后,又逐渐形成了在零波数附近区域的一个新的单峰;而在正常色散区,除了原来的两个增益区域之外,零波数附近出现了新的增益区,增益的幅度随克尔非线性变化的增加而递增。可见,非线性管理光纤光栅给调制不稳定性的产生提供了更多的空间。  相似文献

提出了在波分复用光纤通信系统中,考虑光纤色散“走离”时受激喇曼散射(SRS)信道的新模型,给出了计算中距离步长的选取公式。根据该模型,数值计算了各信道在随机数字序列调制下和在受激喇曼散射(SRS)非线性效应作用下经过有色散“走离”的波分复用光纤系统的传输功率。得出光纤色散会降低SRS效应引起的输出功率波动的结论,画出了在SRS效应作用下输出功率标准差随色散系数变化的曲线,并对产生该现象的机理进行了定性分析。该模型适合于任意光纤色散、任意输入功率和任意信道数目。  相似文献

报道了一种高精度测量光纤连接器端面几何参量的自动测量仪。叙述了光纤连接器的端面几何参量的测量原理。由光纤连接器端面形貌和纤芯中心坐标,可以高精度得到曲率半径、顶点偏移量、端面倾斜角和光纤高度等影响连接器性能的关键端面几何参量。该仪器体积小,自动化程度高,用户界面友好,使用方便,可测量物理接触、角度式物理接触等类型的光纤连接器端面几何参量。实际测量证明,该测量仪有很好的重复测量精度。该测量仪与美国Dorc公司ZX-1 mini PMS测量仪和Norland公司NC3000测量仪相比,测量精度水平相当。该仪器样机已通过华东国家计量测试中心的测试。  相似文献

由于燃料球的随机分布和球床的壁面效应,球床式高温气冷堆堆芯孔隙率分布会有一定的不均匀性。深入认识壁面漏流、随机孔隙率对球床温度分布均匀性的影响对进一步提高高温气冷堆冷却剂出口温度及其安全性具有重要意义。本文采用多孔介质模型实现了对堆芯球床壁面漏流、随机孔隙率效应的数值模拟。结果表明,由于壁面漏流效应,壁面附近局部区域冷却剂最大速度会比中心高50%,对球床温度影响则不大。中心区域局部极小、极大孔隙率只对很小区域内流速和温度有影响,但温度变化幅值很小。球床中心随机孔隙率使冷却剂速度波动小于13%,对球床温度影响很小。  相似文献

推导了纤维悬浮流的平均运动方程和纤维平均取向角的概率密度函数方程,提出了计算纤维平均取向角分布和悬浮流平均量与脉动量关联函数的逐级迭代方法。将推导的方程和提出的方法用于纤维悬浮管流场的计算并进行了相应的实验,计算和实验结果吻合很好。研究结果表明,在相同的压力降下,与没有纤维的牛顿流相比,纤维悬浮流具有较大的流量,因而纤维在流场中起着减阻的作用,减阻的量随着纤维浓度的增加而增大。在相同情况下,纤维悬浮流的相对湍流强度和雷诺应力比牛顿流小,这说明纤维能够抑制湍流,抑制的量与纤维的质量浓度成正比。  相似文献

This paper studies growth, percolation, and correlations in disordered fiber networks. We start by introducing a 2D continuum deposition model with effective fiber-fiber interactions represented by a parameterp which controls the degree of clustering. Forp=1 the deposited network is uniformly random, while forp=0 only a single connected cluster can grow. Forp=0 we first derive the growth law for the average size of the cluster as well as a formula for its mass density profile. Forp>0 we carry out extensive simulations on fibers, and also needles and disks, to study the dependence of the percolation threshold onp. We also derive a mean-field theory for the threshold nearp=0 andp=1 and find good qualitative agreement with the simulations. The fiber networks produced by the model display nontrivial density correlations forp<1. We study these by deriving an approximate expression for the pair distribution function of the model that reduces to the exactly known case of a uniformly random network. We also show that the two-point mass density correlation function of the model has a nontrivial form, and discuss our results in view of recent experimental data on mss density correlations in paper sheets.  相似文献
