Novikov algebras and Novikov structures on Lie algebras   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
We study ideals of Novikov algebras and Novikov structures on finite-dimensional Lie algebras. We present the first example of a three-step nilpotent Lie algebra which does not admit a Novikov structure. On the other hand we show that any free three-step nilpotent Lie algebra admits a Novikov structure. We study the existence question also for Lie algebras of triangular matrices. Finally we show that there are families of Lie algebras of arbitrary high solvability class which admit Novikov structures.  相似文献

It is proved that if the dual Lie algebra of a Lie coalgebra is algebraic, then it is algebraic of bounded degree. This result is an analog of the D.Radford's result for associative coalgebras.

In this paper, simplicity of quadratic Lie conformal algebras is investigated. From the view point of the corresponding Gel’fand–Dorfman bialgebras, some su?cient conditions and necessary conditions to ensure simplicity of quadratic Lie conformal algebras are presented. By these observations, we present several new classes of infinite simple Lie conformal algebras. These results will be useful for classification purposes.  相似文献

We give a full classification of Lie algebras of specific type in complexified Clifford algebras. These 16 Lie algebras are direct sums of subspaces of quaternion types. We obtain isomorphisms between these Lie algebras and classical matrix Lie algebras in the cases of arbitrary dimension and signature. We present 16 Lie groups: one Lie group for each Lie algebra associated with this Lie group. We study connection between these groups and spin groups.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove that a biderivation of a finite-dimensional complex simple Lie algebra without the restriction of being skewsymmetric is an inner biderivation. As an application, the biderivation of a general linear Lie algebra is presented. In particular, we find a class of a non-inner and non-skewsymmetric biderivations. Furthermore, we also obtain the forms of the linear commuting maps on the finite-dimensional complex simple Lie algebra or general linear Lie algebra.  相似文献

It is proved that for any quasi-filiform of non-zero rank the solvable Lie algebra obtained by adjoining a maximal torus of outer derivations is complete. Further, for any positive integer m, it is shown that there exist solvable complete Lie algebras with the second Chevalley–Eilenberg cohomology group of arbitrary dimension.  相似文献

In this paper we give a sufficient condition for a restricted enveloping algebra to be quasi-elementary. We also prove that every finite dimensional -nilpotent Lie algebra can be embedded in a finite dimensional -nilpotent quasi-elementary Lie algebra.

A Lie algebra endowed with a nondegenerate, symmetric, invariant bilinear form is called a quadratic Lie algebra. In this paper, the author investigates the structure of solvable quadratic Lie algebras, in particular, the solvable quadratic Lie algebras whose Cartan subalgebras consist of semi-simple elements, the author presents a procedure to construct a class of quadratic Lie algebras from the point of view of cohomology and shows that all solvable quadratic Lie algebras can be obtained in this way.  相似文献

We show how the use of graded alphabets allows one to provide simpler proofs of some results on free monoids and free Lie algebras. We first generalize to graded alphabets the characterization of the length distributions of circular codes. We also show that the existence of a circular code with a given distribution of degrees is equivalent to the existence of an embedding of Lie algebras. We finally give a generalization to graded alphabets of the famous result of Eastman on comma free codes of odd degree.  相似文献
