For set-valued dynamic systems in uniform spaces we introduce the concept of quasi-asymptotic contractions with respect to some generalized pseudodistances, describe a method which we use to establish general conditions guaranteeing the existence and uniqueness of endpoints (stationary points) of these contractions and exhibit conditions such that for each starting point each generalized sequence of iterations (in particular, each dynamic process) converges and the limit is an endpoint. The definition, result, ideas and techniques are new for set-valued dynamic systems in uniform, locally convex and metric spaces and even for single-valued maps.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the concepts of the set-valued dynamical systems of asymptotic contractions of Meir–Keeler type and set-valued dynamical systems of strict contractions in uniform spaces and we present a method which is useful for establishing conditions guaranteeing the existence and uniqueness of endpoints of these contractions and the convergence to these endpoints of all generalized sequences of iterations of these contractions. The result, concerning the investigations of problems of the set-valued asymptotic fixed point theory, include some well-known results of Meir and Keeler, Kirk and Suzuki concerning the asymptotic fixed point theory of single-valued maps in metric spaces. The result, concerning set-valued strict contractions (in which the contractive coefficient is not constant), is different from the result of Yuan concerning the existence of endpoints of Tarafdar–Vyborny generalized contractions (in which the contractive coefficient is constant) in bounded metric spaces and provides some examples of Tarafdar–Yuan topological contractions in compact uniform spaces. Definitions and results presented here are new for set-valued dynamical systems in uniform, locally convex and metric spaces and even for single-valued maps. Examples show a fundamental difference between our results and the well-known ones.  相似文献

We present a general equilibrium theorem for the sum of an upper hemicontinuous convex-valued multifunction and a closed convex process defined on a noncompact subset of a normed space. The lack of compactness is compensated by inwardness conditions related to the existence of viable solutions of some differential inclusion.  相似文献

In cone uniform spaces X, using the concept of the D-family of cone pseudodistances, the distance between two not necessarily convex or compact sets A and B in X is defined, the concepts of cyclic and noncyclic set-valued dynamic systems of D-relatively quasi-asymptotic contractions T:AB→2AB are introduced and the best approximation and best proximity point theorems for such contractions are proved. Also conditions are given which guarantee that for each starting point each generalized sequence of iterations of these contractions (in particular, each dynamic process) converges and the limit is a best proximity point. Moreover, D-families are constructed, characterized and compared. The results are new for set-valued and single-valued dynamic systems in cone uniform, cone locally convex and cone metric spaces. As a rule, the classical Michael-type selection theorems for the existence of single-valued selections are analogues and, in certain respects, generalisations of ordinary extension theorems. In contrast to this, the theorems for the existence of multi-selections deal with natural generalisations of cover properties of topological spaces. This paper continues the study of the latter problem, and its main purpose is to furnish a mapping characterisation of a cover-extension property—the so-called Katětov spaces.  相似文献

In the first part of the paper we give a construction of a topological degree theory for set-valued tangent vector fields with convex and nonconvex values defined on nonsmooth closed subsets of a Banach space. The obtained homotopy invariant is an extension of the classical degree for vector fields on manifolds. In the paper we present some selection properties of differentiable multifunctions. Next, we introduce the definition of a set-valued Stratonovich stochastic integral. A set-valued type inequality system is introduced along with two solvability questions composed of existence and perturbation, and main theorems are obtained, which include three necessary and sufficient conditions concerning the existence and a continuity property concerning the perturbation. In this paper, we develop a sufficient condition for the inverse limit of upper semi-continuous functions to be an indecomposable continuum. This condition generalizes and extends those of Ingram and Varagona. A definition of differentiability of a set-valued map is offered. As derivatives, which are called directives in the set-valued setting, unions of affine maps are used; these are called multiaffines. A multiaffine is a directive if it is a first-order approximation of the set-valued map. One application is a necessary condition for maximin optimality of constrained decisions. A distance among multiaffines permits the development of set-valued evolution equations along the lines of ordinary differential equations in a vector space. In the paper we deal with differential inclusions with one-sided Lipschitz (OSL) continuous right-hand sides, and prove the existence of a continuous selection of the solution map which assigns to any point the set of solutions to the multivalued Cauchy problem. Abstract

The ultrametrically injective hull TX of an ultrametric space (X, d) is investigated by viewing it as the space of ultra-extremal functions over X. It turns out that the ultra-extremal functions are also ultra-Ka?etov functions, satisfying two inequalities derived from the strong triangle inequality. We shall compare the ultra-extremal functions with some classes of functions defined with the help of one of the two inequalities from the definition of ultra-Kat?tov functions. We shall consider the question of when separability of the space of ultra-extremal functions is preserved.  相似文献

In this paper, we provide a new result of the existence of equilibria for set-valued maps on bounded closed subsets K of Hilbert spaces. We do not impose either convexity or compactness assumptions on K but we assume that K has epi-Lipschitz sections, i.e. its intersection with suitable finite dimensional spaces is locally the epigraph of Lipschitz functions. In finite dimensional spaces, the famous Brouwer theorem asserts the existence of a fixed point for a continuous function from a compact convex set K to itself. Our result could be viewed as a kind of generalization of this classical result in the context of Hilbert spaces and when the function (or the set-valued map) does not necessarily map K into itself (K is not invariant under the map). Our approach is based firstly on degree theory for compact and for condensing set-valued maps and secondly on flows generated by trajectories of differential inclusions.  相似文献
