本文对自共轭常微分方程奇异摄动问题,构造一族带拟合因子的差分格式,用不同于[1]的方法,通过对格式截断误差的分析,给出差分格式解一致收敛于微分方程解的充分条件;由此提出几个具体的差分格式,在较弱的条件下,给出较高的一致收敛阶,并将它们应用于例子,给出数值结果.

本文考虑自共轭常微分方程奇异摄动边值问题,构造一族带拟合因子的差分格式,给出差分格式解一致收敛于微分方程解的充分条件,由此提出几个具体格式,在条件较弱的情况下,给出较高的一致收敛阶。

本文研究了δJordan-李三系上带有权λ的k-阶广义导子的相关问题.通过计算,得到了每一个δJordan-李三系上带有权λ的k-阶Jordan三角θ-导子都是一个带有权λ的k-阶θ-导子.在定义下,给出了带有权λ的k-阶Jordan三角θ-导子的另一种等价形式.同时,建立了带有权λ的k-阶广义(θ,ϕ)-导子和Rota-BaxterδJordan-李三系上带有权λ的Rota-Baxter算子的遗传性质,得到了每一个Rota-BaxterδJordan-李代数能看成一个Rota-BaxterδJordan-李三系的结论.     

带非线性源项的双侧空间分数阶扩散方程的隐式中点方法

本文用隐式中点方法离散一阶时间偏导数,并用拟紧差分算子逼近Riemann-Liouville空间分数阶偏导数,构造了求解带非线性源项的空间分数阶扩散方程的数值格式.给出了数值方法的稳定性和收敛性分析.数值试验表明数值方法是有效的.     

分数阶模糊时滞神经网络模型解的存在唯一性和有限时间稳定性

本文介绍了一类分数阶模糊时滞神经网络模型.利用压缩映射原理,讨论了带时滞的分数阶神经网络模型解的存在性和唯一性,并根据Gronwall不等式结合分数阶微分方程的性质,证明了分数阶神经网络模型平衡点的有限时间稳定性,给出了有限时间稳定性的判断准则.最后,给出数值仿真说明了理论结果的正确性.     

带扩散项四阶抛物方程的一类本性并行差分格式

给出逼近带扩散项四阶抛物方程一组非对称差分格式,对此组非对称格式重新组合,得到了一类新的具有并行本性的算法.随后,利用矩阵法证明了算法的绝对稳定性.最后给出数值实验.     

具有零阶退化方程的二阶双曲型方程奇异摄动问题的一致差分格式

本文讨论了一个二阶双曲型奇异摄动问题,它的一阶导数项含有小参数ε.首先给出该问题解的能量估计及渐近解的余项估计,然后在均匀网格上构造了一个指数型拟合差分格式,最后证明了差分解在离散的能量范数意义下一致收敛于问题的精确解.     

一阶回归模型下Q和Q_B准则的几个结果

在试验设计中,一阶回归模型通常被作为合格拟合模型用来从众多因子中筛选出效应显著的特殊因子,而Q和Q_B准则能够比较简单地从大量的合格拟合模型中找出具有最优性质的设计.主要探讨了当拟合模型为一阶回归模型时,二水平的初始设计d与其Double设计(d d d -d)在Q和Q_B准则下的最优关系.给出了初始设计d的Q和Q_B值与其Double设计的Q和Q_B值之间的解析关系,从而得到在Q或Q_B准则下如果初始设计d是最优的,那么其Double设计也是最优的.此外,也分别给出了初始设计d及其Double设计的Q值和Q_B值的一个下界.     

Almost uniform convergence

The almost uniform convergence is between uniform and quasi-uniform one. We give some necessary and sufficient conditions under which the almost uniform convergence coincides on compact sets with uniform, quasi-uniform or uniform convergence, respectively. In the second section continuity of almost uniform limits is considered. Finally we characterize the set of all points at which a net of functions is almost uniformly convergent to a given function.     

On Uniform Large Deviations Principle for Multi-valued SDEs via the Viscosity Solution Approach

This paper deals with the uniform large deviations for multivalued stochastic differential equations (MSDEs for short) by applying a stability result of the viscosity solutions of second order Hamilton-Jacobi-Belleman equations with multivalued operators. Moreover, the large deviation principle is uniform in time and in starting point.     

Sharpness of estimates for the least uniform derivation from the class of functions with bounded second derivative

We study the uniform approximation of continuous functions on an interval by functions with bounded second derivative. We prove the sharpness of estimates for the least uniform deviation of a function in terms of its local deviations on uniform and nonuniform three-point grids.     

MHD non-Newtonian flow due to non-coaxial rotations of an accelerated disk and a fluid at infinity

The magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow due to non-coaxial rotations of a porous disk, moving with uniform acceleration in its own plane and a second grade fluid at infinity is examined. The fluid is electrically conducting in the presence of a uniform magnetic field. The effects of non-Newtonian fluid characteristics and uniform acceleration of the disk on the velocity field are presented both analytically and numerically. A very good accuracy has been seen.     

Cauchy-type problem for an abstract differential equation with fractional derivatives

The uniform well-posedness of a Cauchy-type problem with two fractional derivatives and bounded operator A is proved. For an unbounded operator A we present a test for the uniform well-posedness of the problem under consideration consistent with the test for the uniform well-posedness of the Cauchy problem for an equation of second order.     

An estimate for the least uniform deviation from the class of functions with bounded second derivative

We consider the problem of uniform approximation of a continuous function on an interval by means of the class of functions with bounded second derivative. We prove an estimate for the least uniform deviation of a function in terms of its local deviations on uniform and nonuniform three-point grids.

Uniform convergence of derivatives of extended Lagrange interpolation

Summary The authors construct some extended interpolation formulae to approximate the derivatives of a function in uniform norm. They prove theorems on uniform convergence and give estimates of pointwise type and of simultaneous approximation.This material is based upon work supported by the Italian Research Council (first and second authors), and by the Ministero dell'Università e della Ricerca Scientifica e Tecnologica (second and third author).     

A note on the two-stage assembly flow shop scheduling problem with uniform parallel machines

We study the problem of minimizing the makespan in a two-stage assembly flow shop scheduling problem with uniform parallel machines. This problem is a generalization of the assembly flow shop problem with concurrent operations in the first stage and a single assembly operation in the second stage. We propose a heuristic with an absolute performance bound which becomes asymptotically optimal as the number of jobs becomes very large. We show that our results slightly improve earlier results for the simpler assembly flow shop problem (without uniform machines) and for the two-stage hybrid flow shop problem with uniform machines.     

A generalization of Lehmann’s Theorem on the comparison of uniform location experiments

Summary We generalize a result of Lehmann on the comparison of location experiments with uniform distributions on intervals. We compare a location experiment consisting of uniform distributions on parallelepipeds with a location experiment consisting of uniform distributions on convex bodies. We show that the first experiment can only be more informative than the second one if the convex bodies in the second experiment are themselves parallelepipeds. Further we show that the length of the edges of these parallelepipeds must fulfill a condition similar to the condition on the length of the intervals in Lehmanns result.
