利用基于密度泛函理论的第一性原理超软赝势平面方法研究了外界压强对LiNbO_3晶体态密度,能带结构,电荷密度以及光学性质的影响.能带结构计算表明,价带顶主要由O-2p和Nb-4d态电子贡献,导带底主要由Nb-4d态电子贡献,且带隙随着压强的增加而线性增大.利用复介电函数计算了LiNbO_3晶体在不同压强下光学性质的折射率、反射率、吸收函数,能量损失函数以及光电导率.研究发现:外界压强大于10GPa时,静态折射率保持不变,随外界压强的增加,反射率、吸收函数以及光电导率区间有一定程度的拓宽,损失函数峰发生"蓝移".研究表明,外界高压可以有效调控LiNbO_3晶体的电子结构和光学性质,为LiNbO_3晶体的高压应用提供了有益的理论依据.  相似文献

利用基于密度泛函理论的第一性原理方法对黑索金晶体的电子结构和光学性质进行了计算. 结果表明: 黑索金是能隙值为3.43 eV的绝缘体, 价带主要由C, N和O的2s与2p态构成, 而导带主要由N-2p和O-2p态构成; 静态介电函数ε1(0)=1.38, 介电常数的虚部有5个峰值, 其中最大峰值在光子能量4.59 eV处, 并对造成这些峰值的可能的电子跃迁做了详细分析. 利用能带结构和态密度分析了黑索金的光反射系数、吸收系数及能量损失函数等光学性质, 发现黑索金是对光吸收、反射及能量损失不敏感的材料. 关键词: 黑索金 第一性原理 电子结构 光学性质  相似文献

We have studied the band structure and optical properties of 4H-SiC by using a full potential linearized augmented plane waves (FPLAPW) method. The density of states (DOS) and band structure are presented. The imaginary part of the dielectric function has been obtained directly from the band structure calculation. With band gap correction, the real part of the dielectric function has been derived from the imaginary part by the Kramers-Kronig (KK) dispersion relationship. The values of reflectivity for normal incidence as a function of photon energy have also been calculated. We found the theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献

The energy bands of a crystal of Si under an axial force are calculated using a pseudopotential method including spin-orbit coupling effects. Good numerical agreement with experimentally determined deformation potentials is obtained. The wavelength modulated reflectivity spectra for several uniaxial forces along the [001] and [111] directions are calculated and compared with available experiments. The structure of the spectra is analyzed in terms of the shifts and splittings of the energy bands. It is shown that the optical structure corresponding to the main peak in reflectivity around 3·4 eV is due to transitions associated with several initial points related to the A line and it is well reproduced by an energy band model where the energy value of the L3—L1 transition is slightly larger than that corresponding to the Γ25′–Γ15 one.  相似文献

采用基于密度泛函理论的第一性原理赝势平面波方法,对稀土元素La,Y单掺杂和La和Y共掺杂GaN的晶格常数、电子结构及光学性质进行了计算与分析.计算结果表明:掺杂改变了GaN的能带结构,未掺杂和Y掺杂形成导带底和价带顶位于G点的直接带隙半导体,而La掺杂和La和Y共掺杂形成导带底位于G点,价带顶位于Q点的间接带隙半导体.可以通过掺杂元素来调制GaN的禁带宽度和带隙类型,掺杂均提高GaN在低能区的静态介电常数、反射率、折射率,使光子的跃迁强度增大,说明稀土元素La,Y掺杂可有效调制GaN的光电性质.  相似文献

The first-principle calculations based on density functional theory have been used to study the electronic and optical properties of zinc-blende BInGaAs quaternary alloy lattice-matched to GaAs. The calculated results show the band gap of BInGaAs alloy are direct and the band gap will reduce with the increment of boron and indium composition. The electronic structures of BInGaAs alloy are analyzed via the calculation of density of states. The variation of optical properties including dielectric function, absorption coefficient, reflectivity, refractive index and energy loss function of the alloy were also investigated in detail.  相似文献

Wavelength dependent reflectivity is crucial relationship in determining the physical property of optic system. The first object of this work is to search for the applicable method of using wavelength to predict the reflectivity of Mo/Si multilayer mirror before and after irradiation with proton. Predicated on the principle of non-linear curve fitting, a typical numerical method is highlighted because the wavelength-dependent reflectivity of Mo/Si multilayer irradiated by proton with different energies and flux are quantitative analyzed by this method. The simulations agree very well with the observed spectroscopy of 6 curves for reflectivity versus wavelength. The minimum value of correlation coefficients between actual and calculated data is 0.994. The other objects of this work are to find the optic band gap of Mo/Si multilayer and check the influences of proton on it using reflectivity spectra. In the light of the calculated results by Tauc method, the optic band gap is theoretically explained successfully via the relationship between band gap and absorption coefficient. The estimated results by both theoretical and experimental data demonstrate that the optic band gap of Mo/Si multilayer is not sensitive to proton radiation.  相似文献

The structural, electronic, and optical properties of multiferroic bismuth ferrite (BiFeO3) are investigated using density functional theory within generalized gradient approximation (GGA). The calculated lattice parameters are in good agreement with the experimental data. The electronic structure shows that BiFeO3 has an indirect (very close to direct) band gap of 1.06 eV. The complex dielectric function, absorption spectra, refractive index, extinction coefficient, energy-loss spectrum and reflectivity are calculated, and the results are compared with the available experimental data. Finally, the optical properties of BiFeO3 are discussed based on the band structure calculations.  相似文献

采用基于密度泛函理论第一性原理的方法, 研究了Ta掺杂ZnO的电子结构和光学性质. 计算结果表明: 掺入Ta原子后, 费米能级进入导带, 随着掺杂浓度的增加, 带隙逐渐变窄, 介电函数虚部、吸收系数、反射率和折射率均发生明显变化, 介电函数虚部和反射率均向高能方向移动, 吸收边发生红移, 从理论上指出了光学性质和电子结构的内在联系.  相似文献

采用基于第一性原理密度泛函理论的平面波赝势方法,对0.5NdAlO3-0.5CaTiO3晶体进行结构优化,并对其能带结构,态密度和光学性质进行了理论计算.结构优化后晶格参数与实验数据相符合,误差小于1%;能带计算结果表明0.5NdAlO3-0.5CaTiO3为间接带隙,带隙值为0.52eV;费米面附近的能带由Nd-4f,O-2p,Nd-4p,Al-3p,Ti-4d层的电子态密度确定.同时也计算了该结构的介电函数,反射率和复折射率等光学性质.  相似文献

采用基于密度泛函理论基础上的CASTEP软件包,计算了BaZrO3和CaZrO3的能带以及光学性质.计算得到BaZrO3直接带隙和间接带隙分别为3.49 eV和3.23eV,CaZrO3直接带隙和间接带隙分别为3.73 eV和3.38 eV.对这两种材料的介电函数、吸收系数、反射系数、折射系数、湮灭系数和能量损失系数等光学系数进行了计算,并基于电子能带对光学性质进行了解释.得出,光学特性的异同是由于其内部微观结构上的异同所引起的.  相似文献

The transverse magneto-optical Kerr effect (T-MOKE) was investigated for thin epitaxial Fe films grown on Ag(0 0 1) in the region of the 2p excitation threshold. The experimental reflectivity and asymmetry spectra are compared to those derived from the complex dielectric function tensor calculated by using the first-principles spin-polarized relativistic band theory. We found that the T-MOKE asymmetry in general is a mixture of both the real and imaginary parts of the off-diagonal element of the dielectric function tensor, depending sensitively on the relative magnitudes of real and imaginary parts of the diagonal element. For angles of incidence larger than about 5° the influence of the Ag-substrate is significant. The major features in experimental and calculated reflectivity and asymmetry spectra are in agreement.  相似文献

This paper calculates the structural parameters, electronic and optical properties of orthorhombic distorted perovskite-type TbMnO3 by first principles using density functional theory within the generalised gradient approximation. The calculated equilibrium lattice constants are in a reasonable agreement with theoretical and experimental data. The energy band structure, density of states and partial density of states of elements are obtained. Band structures show that TbMnO3 is an indirect band gap between the O 2p states and Mn 3d states, and the band gap is of 0.48 eV agreeing with experimental result. Furthermore, the optical properties, including the dielectric function, absorption coefficient, optical reflectivity, refractive index and energy loss spectrum are calculated and analysed, showing that the TbMnO3 is a promising dielectric material.  相似文献

The electronic and optical properties of andalusite were studied by using quantum-mechanical calculations based on the density functional theory (DFT). The electronic structure shows that andalusite has a direct band gap of 5.01 eV. The complex dielectric function and optical constants, such as extinction coefficient, refractive index, reflectivity and energy-loss spectrum, are calculated. The optical properties of andalusite are discussed based on the band structure calculations. It is shown that the O-2p states and Al-3s states play a major role in optical transitions as initial and final states, respectively.  相似文献

We present a first-principle study of electronic and optical properties in pure LiF and O-doped LiF crystals. The pure LiF crystal exhibits a wide band gap while the O-doped LiF crystal shows the less band gap due to the contribution of O 2p. Some optical constants, such as dielectric functions, reflectivity and the refractive index, have been performed. The calculated reflectivity and refractive index from the pure LiF crystal agree with the experimental and recently calculated results in the low-energy range. Meanwhile, the optical properties have also been predicted from the O-doped LiF crystal. The absorption band in 200 nm has been observed, which is relatively close to the experimental result.   相似文献

利用密度泛函理论框架下的第一性原理平面波超软赝势方法计算了立方晶相二氧化铪(c-HfO2)的电子结构,得到了c-HfO2的总念密度、分波态密度和能带结构.经带隙校正后,计算了c-HfO2的光学线性响应函数随光子能最的变化关系,包括复介电函数,反射率、复折射率以及光学吸收系数,并从理论上给出了c-HfO2材料光学性 质与电子结构的关系.经比较发现,对c-HfO2的电子结构和光学性质的计算结果与已有的实验数据和其它理论研究吻合得较好,从而为c-HfO2光电材料的设计与应用提供了理论依据.同时,计算结果也表明采用密度泛函理论的广义梯度近似来计算和预测c-HfO2材料的电子结构和光学性质是比较可靠的.  相似文献

Using the density functional theory, we have investigated the electronic and optical properties of two-dimensional Sc_2C monolayer with OH, F, or O chemical groups. The electronic structures reveal that the functionalized Sc_2C monolayers are semiconductors with a band gap of 0.44–1.55 eV. The band gap dependent optical parameters, like dielectric function, absorption coefficients, reflectivity, loss function, and refraction index were also calculated for photon energy up to 20 eV. At the low-energy region, each optical parameter shifts to red, and the peak increases obviously with the increase of the energy gap. Consequently, Sc_2C monolayer with a tunable band gap by changing the type of surface chemical groups is a promising 2D material for optoelectronic devices.  相似文献
