The authors have found the acoustic levitation phenomenon where planar objects of 10 kg weight can be levitated near a vibration surface. This phenomenon has been studied for non-contact transportation. A circular planar object can be suspended without contacting a circular vibration plate. We have studied the holding force which acts horizontally on the levitated objects. The horizontal position of the object is stabilized by this force. In this paper, we discuss the effect of the radius of a levitated object, levitation distance, displacement amplitude of the vibration plate and the vibration mode on the suspending force.  相似文献

In this paper, the free flexural vibration of an elastic circular thin plate with an initial imperfection is investigated. Approximate solution of the problem for the fundamental frequency of vibration, of large amplitude and with the plate imperfection, leads to a non-linear ordinary differential equation with time as the independent variable. It is shown that this equation also represents the free vibration of a particle of mass on a shallow curve of fourth degree.. With this similarity in view, it is possible to draw an analogy between these two vibrations. A numerical analysis is made with particular reference to this analogy and the results are given in various figures which represent the vibratory motion and the period of vibration versus the initial amplitude of the plate or of the particle of mass.  相似文献

In this paper, nonlinear equations of large amplitude vibration for a laminated plate in a general state of nonuniform initial stress are derived. The equations include the effects of transverse shear and rotary inertia. Using these derived governing equations, the large amplitude vibration behaviour of an initially stressed cross-ply laminated plate is studied. The initial stress is taken to be a combination of pure bending stress plus an extensional stress in the plane of the plate. The Galerkin method is used to reduce the governing nonlinear partial differential equations to ordinary nonlinear differential equations and the Runge-Kutta method is used to obtain the nonlinear to linear frequencies. The frequency responses of nonlinear vibration are sensitive of the vibration amplitude, aspect ratio, thickness ratio, modulus ratio, stack sequence, layer number and state of initial stresses. The effects of various parameters on the large amplitude free vibrations are presented.  相似文献

Phase-shifting digital holography has been used for the study of vibrating objects. The time-averaged complex amplitude of Fresnel diffracted field due to a vibrating object was obtained by using a three-step phase-shifting algorithm. Taking the inverse Fresnel transform of the complex amplitude resulted in an image of the object superimposed with Bessel fringes. The Bessel fringes are contour map of the vibration amplitude. By sinusoidally modulating the phase of the reference beam at the vibration frequency, the brightest fringe could be shifted to points of interest, thus extending the measurable range of vibration amplitude.  相似文献

A projected-fringe fiber-based moiré interferometer is proposed to measure the local amplitude vibration of a diffuse surface. The technique is based on an optical fiber interferometer which projects interference fringes on the object surface. The visibility of these carrier fringes is modulated by a function of local amplitude vibration. Full-field quantitative analysis is performed by analyzing the fringe pattern with a 2-D Fourier transform method. Theoretical details, and experimental results are presented.  相似文献

磁致伸缩换能器可作为热声制冷机的声源装置,辐射板的形状直接影响声压输出效率,从而影响制冷效果。为提高换能器工作效率、减小换能器体积,辐射板需在Terfenol-D棒的激励下产生大振幅、高频率的活塞振型。针对这一问题,应用ATILA软件分析了磁致伸缩换能器辐射板形状对谐振腔振动幅频特性的影响以及对谐振腔内声场分布的影响。结果表明:相同激励条件下,凹球面辐射板出现活塞振型时振幅最大,对应谐振腔中声压幅值最高;谐振腔端面形状为凹球面时,具有聚焦声压幅值的作用;端面形状为凹发射端-凸反射端组合的谐振腔内声压幅值最高。以上结论为合理设计辐射板、谐振腔两端面组合形状提供了参考。  相似文献

A method of holographic interferometry which uses an amplitude-modulated reference wave is proposed for investigating vibration phases. Sinusoidal amplitude modulation of a reference wave yields hologram fringes which are characterized by a function J21(α)cos2Δ, where α and Δ are related to vibration amplitudes and phases on object points, respectively. The resultant fringes indicate that vibration amplitude information and phase information are stored separately. The phase information of the vibration is easily obtained as brightness variations of the fringes, independently of the amplitude information.  相似文献

Large amplitude vibrations and damage detection of rectangular plates   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In this work, geometrically nonlinear vibrations of fully clamped rectangular plates are used to study the sensitivity of some nonlinear vibration response parameters to the presence of damage. The geometrically nonlinear version of the Mindlin plate theory is used to model the plate behaviour. Damage is represented as a stiffness reduction in a small area of the plate. The plate is subjected to harmonic loading with a frequency of excitation close to the first natural frequency leading to large amplitude vibrations. The plate vibration response is obtained by a pseudo-load mode superposition method. The main results are focussed on establishing the influence of damage on the vibration response of the plate and the change in the time-history diagrams and the Poincaré maps caused by the damage. Finally, a criterion and a damage index for detecting the presence and the location of the damage is proposed. The criterion is based on analysing the points in the Poincaré sections of the damaged and healthy plate. Numerical results for large amplitude vibrations of damaged and healthy rectangular and square plates are presented and the proposed damage index for the considered cases is calculated. The criterion demonstrates quite good abilities to detect and localize damage.  相似文献

We describe a technique that is used for the real-time measurement of the vibration of an object point. The technique can be used when the vibration is characterized by a large amplitude, i.e. several millimeters. The technique has additional advantages that it requires no special surface treatment and is insensitive to object in-plane displacements that are small. In this technique an object point is illuminated by a small diameter beam (at an angle) that is structured with straight parallel fringes. The illuminated object point is then imaged onto a Ronchi ruling. The total light transmitted through the Ronchi ruling is then used to recover the vibration of the object point, in real time, by using well-known servo techniques.  相似文献

In this paper, the time sequence phase method (TSPM) has been applied to measure the displacement caused by low-frequency vibration in temporal speckle pattern interferometry (TSPI). The principle is that by capturing the temporal speckle patterns related to the object vibration, the whole-field displacement responses (amplitude and phase) of the vibrating object can be calculated through scanning these fluctuations. Thus, quantitative measurement can be carried out using a conventional ESPI system without a camera synchronized to the object vibration or a phase shifting system. The elaboration on the method is given and experimental results are presented.  相似文献

The detection of axial displacements of an object imaged with a laser beam on to a photographic plate is not easy because the aperture of the imaging system is not generally large and the variation of its impulse response with the defect of focus is then relatively slow. We propose here a double-exposure method in which the object is illuminated under a large angle of incidence θ by a random beam which is generated by a laser-illuminated ground glass. After the first exposure, the object undergoes an axial translation ? and the photographic plate is laterally displaced. ? is small and we can assume that this axial translation results only in a lateral displacement ? tg θ of the incident amplitude from the ground glass. Under these conditions, the two intensity distributions recorded by the photographic plate are no more identical and the contrast of the Young's fringes observed in the Fourier plane of the photographic plate is a decreasing function of ?.  相似文献

There are many situation in vibration analysis where it is necessary or desirable to make three-dimensional measurements. By using three different illumination geometries around a single imaging system, electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI) can be used to measure the orthogonal components of vibration amplitude independently. These can be combined to determine the three-dimensional amplitude and mode shape. Examples of experimental results are presented for volume vibrations of a thick cylinder, identification of vibration modes of a turbocharger blade, and observation of in-plane modes in a thin plate.  相似文献

An analysis of the free flexural vibrations of elastic circular plates with initial imperfections is presented. The analysis includes the effects of transverse shear and rotatory inertia. The vibration amplitudes are assumed to be large, and two non-linear differential equations are obtained for free vibration of the plate and solved numerically. The period of the plate has been calculated as a function of the initial amplitude for four typical supporting conditions.  相似文献

In industrial and other types of non-controlled environments, an unbalanced rotating object may present characteristic out-of-plane vibration amplitude at a specific frequency. For this type of cases and as a first step towards a complete evaluation, it is only desired to visualize the effect of the vibration on the rotating object, or vice versa, for instance to achieve object balancing. Real time optical non-intrusive measurement techniques such as pulsed electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI), are well suited to study this rotating-vibrating object. The advantage offered by ESPI is that real-time fringe data is qualitatively analyzed while being observed on a TV monitor. The present paper proposes a qualitative method, based on pulsed ESPI, to separate rotation fringes from fringes solely related to vibration. The method relies on a high precision scheme that synchronizes and fixes an object point during rotation, without the use of an optomechanical object derotator.  相似文献

Various experiments have been performed to study the interaction of a liquid layer and vibrating plates. A liquid layer deposited on a vibrating plate exhibits a deformation of the surface with a high amplitude of vibration (larger than 1 μm at 30kHz). Furthermore, a water droplet placed on the vibrating plate moves towards an antinode of vibration. These non-linear phenomena are explained by the action of acoustic radiation pressure. An application to the displacement of droplets is presented.  相似文献

A new phase plate has been developed for noise-free coherent imaging system. The phase plate consists of a bleached holographic lens whose frequency is modulated in such a way that the information from each point of the object is distributed in a small three dimensional space at the Fourier plane. This introduces redundancy in the hologram and helps in smoothing out the amplitude variations in the Fourier plane. Experimental results are presented which show the capabilities of the phase plate.  相似文献

Non-linear equations of motion for a transversely isotropic moderately thick plate in a general state of non-uniform initial stress where the effects of transverse shear and rotary inertia are included are derived. The large amplitude flexural vibration of a simply supported rectangular moderately thick plate subjected to initial stress is investigated. The initial stress is taken to be a combination of a pure bending stress plus an extensional stress in the plane of the plate. 基于机电类比原理和变厚度薄圆环的平面应力方程,推导了幂函数型环形聚能器径向振动的等效电路、共振频率方程和位移放大系数。讨论了第一、二阶径向共振频率及相应的位移放大系数随圆环半径比的变化关系。结果表明,幂函数型环形聚能器径向振动的等效电路是一种非互易二端口等效网络;一阶和二阶共振频率随圆环内外半径比的增大而增大;一阶径向共振模式下位移放大系数随圆环半径比的增大先降低后升高,二阶径向共振模式下位移放大系数随圆环半径比的增大而降低,但二阶时的位移放大系数整体大于一阶,因此二阶径向共振模式具有更好的径向振动性能。用COMSOL有限元软件对解析理论分析结果进行了验证,仿真模拟结果与解析理论符合良好。根据幂函数型环形聚能器的等效电路模型,进一步设计了一种压电环形换能器,计算了第一、二阶径向共振频率、反共振频率及有效机电耦合系数,通过与COMSOL有限元软件模拟结果对比,符合良好。本文研究结果为幂函数型环形聚能器及压电环形换能器的工程应用提供了简明设计理论,文中研究结论可作为一种径向超声切割刀在超声工程中获得重要应用。   相似文献

采用外差探测方式, 建立了全光纤结构的激光多普勒测振仪,用来测量经空气传播耦合引起的散射体振动,以期感知振源振动信息。实验探索了散射体材料、固定方式和相对振源位置等对空气耦合振动的影响,得到了200~2700 Hz频率范围内6种散射体振动响应特性曲线。结果表明:通过空气耦合引起的散射体振动,在相同振源振幅下,散射体振动的振幅一般随频率升高而升高; 在材料、固定方式和相对振源位置等因素中,散射体材料对振动响应特性的影响是主要的,后两者只影响局部细节。  相似文献

提出了一种用于振动物体表面快速测量的光学测试系统和方法。该系统采用结构光三维传感技术,利用时间平均法来实现对振动表面的测量和振动模式分析。用低帧频商用CCD相机记录由光栅投影到振动物体表面上形成的一系列变形正弦条纹,对获取的一帧变形条纹经过二维傅里叶变换、频谱滤波、逆傅里叶变换等处理得到调制物体振幅的零级贝塞尔函数分布。给出了该方法的理论分析,推导了相应的计算公式。计算机模拟和实验验证了该方法的可行性。实验证明,该方法具有数据获取速度快,全场非接触测量以及实验装置简单等优点。  相似文献
