For C*-algebras A and B, the operator space projective tensor product ${A\widehat{\otimes}B}$ and the Banach space projective tensor product ${A\otimes_{\gamma}B}$ are shown to be symmetric. We also show that ${A\widehat{\otimes}B}$ is a weakly Wiener algebra. Finally, quasi-centrality and the unitary group of ${A\widehat{\otimes}B}$ are discussed.  相似文献

We consider the central extended $\widehat{gl}(\infty )$ Lie algebra and a set of its subalgebras parametrized by |q|=1, which coincides with the embedding of the quantum tori Lie algebras (QTLA) in $\widehat{gl}(\infty )$ . Forq N=1 there exists an ideal, and a factor over this ideal is isomorphic to an $\widehat{sl}_{N(z)} $ affine algebra. For a generic valueq the corresponding subalgebras are dense in $\widehat{gl}(\infty )$ . Thus, they interpolate between $\widehat{gl}(\infty )$ and $\widehat{sl}_{N(z)} $ . All these subalgebras are fixed points of automorphism of $\widehat{gl}(\infty )$ . Using the automorphisms, we construct geometrical actions for the subalgebras, starting from the Kirillov-Kostant form and the corresponding geometrical action for $\widehat{gl}(\infty )$ .  相似文献

The paper deals with an estimation of the total variation distance between stationary distributions of waiting time in two queueing systems with equal Poisson inputs and different distributions B and $\widetilde B$ of service time. Assuming equality of two first moments of B and $\widetilde B$ the continuity inequalities are derived in terms of difference pseudomoments of B and $\widetilde B$ . When in addition the third moments of B and $\widetilde B$ coincide then the constant involved in the corresponding inequality has the asymptotics ${\text{O}}\left[ {\left( {1 - \rho } \right)^{{1 \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {1 2}} \right. \kern-0em} 2}} } \right]$ in the heavy traffic limit $\rho \to 1$ .  相似文献

Let C[-1,1] be the Banach space of continuous complex functions $f$ on the interval [-1,1] equipped with the standard maximum norm $\left\| f \right\|$ ; let $\omega \left( \cdot \right) = \omega \left( { \cdot ,f} \right)$ be the modulus of continuity of $f$ ; and let $R_n = R_n \left( f \right)$ be the best uniform approximation of $f$ by rational functions (r.f.) whose degrees do not exceed $n = 1, 2, \ldots $ . The space C[-1,1] is also regarded as a pre-Hilbert space with respect to the inner product given by $\left( {f,g} \right) = \left( {1/\pi } \right)\int_{ - 1}^1 {f\left( x \right)g\left( x \right)} \left( {1 - x^2 } \right)^{ - 1/2} dx$ . Let $z_n = \{ z_1 , z_2 , \ldots z_n \} $ be a set of points located outside the interval [-1,1]. By $F\left( { \cdot ,f,z_n } \right)$ we denote an orthoprojection operator acting from the pre-Hilbert space C[-1,1] onto its ( ${n + 1}$ )-dimensional subspace consisting of rational functions whose poles (with multiplicity taken into account) can only be points of the set $z_n $ . In this paper, we show that if $f$ is not a rational function of degree $ \leqslant n$ , then we can find a set of points $z_n = z_n \left( f \right)$ such that $\left\| {f\left( \cdot \right) - F\left( { \cdot ,f,z_n } \right)} \right\| \leqslant 12R_n ln\frac{3}{{\omega ^{ - 1} \left( {R_n /3} \right)}}.$   相似文献

We introduce the concepts of an annihilator and a relative annihilator of a given subset of a BCK-algebra $\mathcal{A}$ . We prove that annihilators of deductive systems of BCK-algebras are again deductive systems and moreover pseudocomplements in the lattice ${\mathcal{D}\left( \mathcal{A} \right)}$ of all deductive systems on $\mathcal{A}$ . Moreover, relative annihilators of ${C \in \mathcal{D}\left( \mathcal{A} \right)}$ with respect to ${B\;{\text{in}}\;\mathcal{D}\left( \mathcal{A} \right)}$ are introduced and serve as relative pseudocomplements of C w.r.t. B in ${\mathcal{D}\left( \mathcal{A} \right)}$ .  相似文献

The Calderón constant æ( $\bar X$ ) is a numerical invariant of finite-dimensional Banach couple $\bar X = (X_0 ,X_1 )$ measuring its interpolation property with respect to linear operators acting in $\bar X$ . In the paper we prove the duality relation æ( $\bar X$ )≈ æ( $\bar X$ *)and calculate the asymptotic behavior of æ( $\bar X$ ) as dim $\bar X \to \infty $ for a few “classical” Banach couples.  相似文献

It is proved that if A = C(Ω), where Ω is an infinite metrizable compact space such that some finite-order iterated derived set of Ω is empty, then for every unital Banach algebra B the global dimensions and the bidimensions of the Banach algebras A \(\hat \otimes \) B and B are related as dg A \(\hat \otimes \) B = 2 + dg B and db A \(\hat \otimes \) B = 2 + db B. Thus, a partial extension of Selivanov’s result is obtained.  相似文献

Properties of generalized solutions of model nonlinear elliptic systems of second order are studied in the semiball $B_1^ + = B_1 (0) \cap \{ x_n > 0\} \subset $ ? n , with the oblique derivative type boundary condition on $\Gamma _1 = B_1 (0) \cap \{ x_n = 0\} $ . For solutionsuH 1(B 1 + ) of systems of the form $\frac{d}{{dx_\alpha }}a_\alpha ^k (u_x ) = 0, k \leqslant {\rm N}$ , it is proved that the derivatives ux are Hölder in $B_1^ + \cup \Gamma _1 )\backslash \Sigma $ , where Hn?p(σ)=0,p>2. It is shown for continuous solutions u from H1(B1/+) of systems $\frac{d}{{dx_\alpha }}a_\alpha ^k (u,u_x ) = 0$ that the derivatives ux are Hölder on the set $(B_1^ + \cup \Gamma _1 )\backslash \Sigma , dim_\kappa \Sigma \leqslant n - 2$ . In this paper, we describe a relationship between the simplest examples of arithmetic theta series. The first of these are the weight 1 theta series ${\widehat{\phi}_{\mathcal C}(\tau)}$ defined using arithmetic 0-cycles on the moduli space ${\mathcal C}$ of elliptic curves with CM by the ring of integers ${O_{\kappa}}$ of an imaginary quadratic field. The second such series ${\widehat{\phi}_{\mathcal M}(\tau)}$ has weight 3/2 and takes values in the arithmetic Chow group ${\widehat{{\rm CH}}^1(\mathcal{M})}$ of the arithmetic surface associated to an indefinite quaternion algebra ${B/\mathbb{Q}}$ . For an embedding ${O_\kappa \rightarrow O_B}$ , a maximal order in B, and a two sided O B -ideal Λ, there is a morphism ${j_\Lambda:{\mathcal C} \rightarrow {\mathcal M}}$ and a pullback ${j_\Lambda^*: \widehat{{\rm CH}}^1(\mathcal{M}) \rightarrow \widehat{{\rm CH}}^1(\mathcal C)}$ . Our main result is an expression for the pullback ${j^*_\Lambda \widehat{\phi}_{\mathcal M}(\tau)}$ as a linear combination of products of ${\widehat{\phi}_{\mathcal C}(\tau)}$ ’s and classical weight ${\frac{1}{2}}$ theta series.  相似文献

Letq be a regular quadratic form on a vector space (V, $\mathbb{F}$ ) and assume dimV ≥ 4 and ¦ $\mathbb{F}$ ¦ ≥ 4. We consider a permutation ? of the central affine quadric $\mathcal{F}$ := {x εV ¦q(x) = 1} such that $$(*)x \cdot y = \mu \Leftrightarrow x^\varphi \cdot y^\varphi = \mu \forall x,y\varepsilon \mathcal{F}$$ holds true, where μ is a fixed element of $\mathbb{F}$ and where “·” is the scalar product associated withq. We prove that ? is induced (in a certain sense) by a semi-linear bijection (σ,?): (V, $\mathbb{F}$ ) → (V, $\mathbb{F}$ ) such thatq o ?o q, provided $\mathcal{F}$ contains lines and the pair (μ, $\mathbb{F}$ ) has additional properties if there ar no planes in $\mathcal{F}$ . The cases μ, 0 and μ = 0 require different techniques.  相似文献

This note deals with the following question: How many planes of a linear space (P, $\mathfrak{L}$ ) must be known as projective planes to ensure that (P, $\mathfrak{L}$ ) is a projective space? The following answer is given: If for any subset M of a linear space (P, $\mathfrak{L}$ ) the restriction (M, $\mathfrak{L}$ )(M)) is locally complete, and if for every plane E of (M, $\mathfrak{L}$ (M)) the plane $\bar E$ generated by E is a projective plane, then (P, $\mathfrak{L}$ ) is a projective space (cf. 5.6). Or more generally: If for any subset M of P the restriction (M, $\mathfrak{L}$ (M)) is locally complete, and if for any two distinct coplanar lines G1, G2 ∈ $\mathfrak{L}$ (M) the lines $\bar G_1 ,\bar G_2 \varepsilon \mathfrak{L}$ generated by G1, G2 have a nonempty intersection and $\overline {G_1 \cup {\text{ }}G_2 }$ satisfies the exchange condition, then (P, $\mathfrak{L}$ ) is a generalized projective space.  相似文献

We prove that the $2n + 1$ -dimensional Heisenberg group H n and the 4-manifolds $Nil^4 $ and $Nil^3 \times \mathbb{R}$ endowed with an arbitrary left-invariant metric admit no C 3-regular immersions into Euclidean spaces $\mathbb{R}^{2n + 2} $ and $\mathbb{R}^5 $ , respectively.  相似文献

With each infinite grid X: ? < x ?1 < x 0 < x 1 < ? we associate the system of trigonometric splines $\{ \mathfrak{T}_j^B \}$ of class C 1(α, β), the linear space $$T^B (X)\mathop = \limits^{def} \{ \tilde u|\tilde u = \sum\limits_j {c_j \mathfrak{T}_j^B } \quad \forall c_j \in \mathbb{R}^1 \} ,$$ and the functionals g (i) ∈ (C 1(α, β))* with the biorthogonality property: $\left\langle {g(i),\mathfrak{T}_j^B } \right\rangle = \delta _{i,j}$ (here $\alpha \mathop = \limits^{def} \lim _{j \to - \infty } x_j ,\quad \beta \mathop = \limits^{def} \lim _{j \to + \infty } x_j$ ). For nested grids $\bar X \subset X$ , we show that the corresponding spaces $T^B (\bar X)$ are embedded in $T^B (X)$ and obtain decomposition and reconstruction formulas for the spline-wavelet expansion $T^B (X) = T^B (\bar X)\dot + W$ derived with the help of the system of functionals indicated above.  相似文献

We study the ultrapowers $L_1 (\mu )_\mathfrak{U} $ of aL 1(μ) space, by describing the components of the well-known representation $L_1 (\mu )_\mathfrak{U} = L_1 (\mu _\mathfrak{U} ) \oplus _1 L_1 (\nu _\mathfrak{U} )$ , and we give a representation of the projection from $L_1 (\mu )_\mathfrak{U} $ onto $L_1 (\mu _\mathfrak{U} )$ . Moreover, the subsequence splitting principle forL 1(μ) motivates the following question: if $\mathfrak{V}$ is an ultrafilter on ? and $[f_i ] \in L_1 (\mu )_\mathfrak{V} $ , is it possible to find a weakly convergent sequence (g i ) ?L 1(μ) following $\mathfrak{V}$ and a disjoint sequence (h i ) ?L 1(μ) such that [f i ]=[g i ]+[h i ]? If $\mathfrak{V}$ is a selective ultrafilter, we find a positive answer by showing that $f = [f_i ] \in L_1 (\mu )_\mathfrak{V} $ belongs to $L_1 (\mu _{_\mathfrak{V} } )$ if and only if its representatives {f i } are weakly convergent following $\mathfrak{V}$ and $f \in L_1 (\nu _\mathfrak{V} )$ if and only if it admits a representative consisting of pairwise disjoint functions. As a consequence, we obtain a new proof of the subsequence splitting principle. If $\mathfrak{V}$ is not a p-point then the above characterizations of $L_1 (\nu _{_\mathfrak{V} } )$ and $L_1 (\nu _{_\mathfrak{V} } )$ fail and the answer to the question is negative.  相似文献

LetX be a complex manifold of dimensionn≥3. Let Ω1, Ω2 be two open pseudoconvex submanifolds with smooth boundary such that Ω1 ? Ω2 ?X . Let Ω = Ω2 \ $\overline \Omega_1 $ . Assume thatbΩ1 andbΩ1 satisfy Catlin's condition (P). Then the compactness estimate for (p, q)-forms with 0<q<n?1 holds for the $\overline \partial$ -Neumann problem on Ω. This result implies that given a $\overline \partial$ -closed (p, q)-form α with 0<q<n?1, which isC on $\overline \Omega$ and which is cohomologous to zero on Ω, the canonical solutionu of the equation $\overline \partial$ u=α is smooth on $\overline \Omega$ .  相似文献

Let $U \subset L_o ([0,1],\mathcal{M},m)$ be a set of Lebesgue measurable functions. Suppose also that two seminormed spaces of real number sequences are given: $\mathcal{A}$ and $\mathcal{B}$ . We study $\left( {\mathcal{A},\mathcal{B}} \right)$ -sets U defined by the classes $\mathcal{A}$ and $\mathcal{B}$ as follows: $\forall a = (a_n ) \in \mathcal{A}, \forall (f_n (t)) \in u^\mathbb{N} $ (or for sequences similar to $(f_n (t))$ ) $\exists E = E(a) \subset [0,1], mE = 1$ such that $\{ a_n f_n (t)\} 1_E (t)\} \in \mathcal{B}, t \in [0,1]$ . We consider three versions of the definition of $\left( {\mathcal{A},\mathcal{B}} \right)$ -sets, one of which is based on functions independent in the probability sense. The case ${\mathcal{B}}=l_\infty$ is studied in detail. It is shown that $({\mathcal{A}},l_\infty)$ -independent sets are sets bounded or order bounded in some well-known function spaces (L p , L p,q , etc.) constructed with respect to the Lebesgue measure. A characterization of such sets in terms of seminormed spaces of number sequences is given. The (l 1,c °)- and $(\mathcal{A},l_1 )$ -sets were studied by E. M. Nikishin.  相似文献
