系统研究了Pr1/3Sr2/3FeO3单相多晶样品在低温下的电荷输运性质和超声特性.电阻测量表明,Pr1/3Sr2/3FeO3在162K发生了电荷有序相变.而超声声速从室温开始就出现了明显的软化,在电荷有序温度附近达到最小值,随后又急剧硬化,同时伴随着一个巨大的衰减峰.分析指出这是由于电-声子相互作用导致的结果,该电-声子耦合可能起源于Fe4 的Jahn-Teller效应.  相似文献

Single phase perovskite-type oxides La0.2Sr0.8FeO3−Δ (LSF28) and La0.4Sr0.6FeO3−Δ (LSF46) were prepared by the glycine nitrate process. The oxygen nonstoichiometry of LSF46 was studied by precision thermogravimetry at 700 and 900 °C as a function of oxygen partial pressure. Mössbauer spectra were measured at room temperature, as well as at 500 and 700 °C (LSF28) and at 700 and 900 °C (LSF46) under varying oxygen partial pressures. Good agreement is observed for the pO2-dependent nonstoichiometry of LSF46 at 700 and 900 °C as derived from thermogravimetry and in-situ Mössbauer spectroscopy. At low pO2, the Mössbauer isomer shifts and quadrupole splittings indicate a phase transition in LSF46 at 700 °C and in LSF28 at the two temperatures studied from a disordered perovskite phase to a brownmillerite-like structure with larger quadrupole splitting.  相似文献

In this work, we report on the controlled fabrication of a self-assembled network of antidots in highly epitaxial La2/3Sr1/3MnO3 thin films grown on top of SrTiO3 (1 0 0) oriented substrates. To promote self-assembly process, it is fundamental to select a unique surface atomic termination of the STO substrates and the appropriate growth conditions. The evolution of the structural and magnetic properties as a function of deposition parameters is analyzed to clarify the growth mechanism leading to the formation of this self-assembled network of antidots. This morphology is of high interest envisaging a new route for the design and fabrication of oxide-based magnetoelectronic devices.  相似文献

We have analyzed the experimental evidence of charge and orbital ordering in La0.5Sr1.5MnO4 using first principles band structure calculations. Our results suggest the presence of two types of Mn sites in the system. One of the Mn sites behaves as an Mn3+ ion, favoring a Jahn-Teller distortion of the surrounding oxygen atoms, while the distortion around the other is not a simple breathing mode kind. Band structure effects are found to dominate the experimental spectrum for orbital and charge ordering, providing an alternate explanation for the experimentally observed results.  相似文献

The magnon dispersion in the charge, orbital, and spin ordered phase in La1/2Sr3/2MnO4 has been studied by means of inelastic neutron scattering. We find excellent agreement with a magnetic interaction model based on the CE-type superstructure. The magnetic excitations are dominated by ferromagnetic exchange parameters revealing a nearly one-dimensional character at high energies. The strong ferromagnetic interaction in the charge or orbital ordered phase appears to be essential for the capability of manganites to switch between metallic and insulating phases.  相似文献

In Sr2RuO4 the spin excitation spectrum is dominated by incommensurate fluctuations at q = (0.3 0.3q(z)), which arise from Fermi-surface nesting. We show that upon Ti substitution, known to suppress superconductivity, a short range magnetic order develops with a propagation vector (0.307 0.307 1). In Sr2Ru0.91Ti0.09O4, the ordered moment points along the c direction. This finding shows that superconducting Sr2RuO4 is extremely close to an incommensurate spin density wave instability.  相似文献

Resistive and magnetic measurements are made for La0.85Sr0.15MnO3. The dependence of resistivity on the applied magnetic field (10, 20, 30, and 50 kOe) and temperature (200–310 K) is analyzed using the s-d model and the obtained experimental data. The physical features that should be contained in models proposed to explain the colossal magnetoresistance of manganites with activation-type conductivity are determined. It is shown that the proposed mechanism associating the colossal magnetoresistance effect with phase separation into ferromagnetic and paramagnetic microregions near the Curie temperature has the necessary features.  相似文献

La2/3Sr1/3MnO3 thin films are studied with temperature variable photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy. Two emission peaks are assigned to the minority carriers related transition processes. The temperature independent 2.526 eV peak is attributed to the charge transfer type inter-band transition, while the redshifted doublet peak around 1.686 eV to the spin flip process. Band structures are obtained within the density functional theory, which show the consistent band gaps with the PL data. The temperature dependence of the intensity of PL emission suggests that these minority carrier processes are relevant to polaron formation.  相似文献

(La,Sr)FeO3 mixed conducting perovskites are considered as interesting candidates for oxygen separation membranes but they suffer from limited structural stability in a large oxygen partial pressure (pO2) gradient, because of their propensity for chemical expansion. Partial substitution of Fe with more stable elements tends to improve the stability while penalizing the electronic and ionic conductivities.In this study, we investigate the effect of 10% Ta substitution on the oxygen transport properties and stability of La0.5Sr0.5FeO3. For this purpose, the material was evaluated as a membrane in a CPOX reactor. The oxygen permeation through a ~ 3 cm2 pellet sample was first measured under air/Ar gradient in the temperature range of 800 to 1000 °C. The measured flux was 0.1 µmol cm? 2 s? 1 at 900 °C, which was a factor of 2 lower than for the Ta-free material. Methane was then introduced into the system and reacted in a catalytic bed with oxygen that has permeated through the membrane to form syngas (H2, CO). As a result, the oxygen flux increased by a factor of 9, reaching 0.9 µmol cm? 2 s? 1 at 900 °C. The reactor was operated at 1000 °C for another 1000 h. During this time, the oxygen permeation flux decayed by ca. 4%/1000 h.The test was stopped after more than 2000 h of operation and the membrane analyzed by electron microscopy.  相似文献

Epitaxial superlattices of ferromagnetic/paramagnetic La0.67Sr0.33MnO3/SrIrO3 materials have been prepared on SrTiO3 (100) substrate using pulse laser deposition technique. An unexpected onset of interface magnetic interaction has been observed around 40 K. Interestingly, magnetic exchange bias effect has been observed in both field cooled and zero field cooled magnetization loops, however, the shifting of loop is opposite in both measurements. Exchange bias field vanishes as temperature increases to interface magnetic ordering temperature. Moreover, exchange bias field is found to decrease with increasing cooling field. We believe that tuning of magnetic exchange at interface during field cooling induces this evolution in nature of exchange bias field.  相似文献

We have fabricated organic diodes utilizing several pi-conjugated organic semiconductors (OSEC) as spacer layers between La2/3Sr1/3MnO3 (LSMO) and various metallic electrodes, and measured their magnetoresistance (MR) and magnetoelectroluminescence (MEL) responses. The devices exhibit large negative high-field MR responses that resemble the MR response of the LSMO electrode, but amplified by approximately 3 orders in the resistance, and accompanied by a positive high-field MEL effect. These magnetic-field effects result from enhanced carrier injection at the LSMO-OSEC interface that is attributed to the anomalous field-dependent Fermi level shift in LSMO.  相似文献

Using high-resolution x-ray scattering, we have demonstrated the existence of quenched disordered charge stripes in a single crystal of La (5/3)Sr (1/3)NiO (4) at low temperatures. Above the second-order transition critical scattering was observed due to fluctuations into the charge stripe phase. The charge stripes are shown to be two dimensional in nature both by measurements of their correlation lengths (xi(a) approximately 185 A, xi(b) = 400 A, and xi(c) approximately 25 A) and by the critical exponents of the charge strip transition. The charge stripe ordering did not develop long-range order even at low temperatures, indicating that the charge stripes are disordered and that the length scale of the disorder is quenched.  相似文献

本文通过对La1/3Sr2/3Fe1-xCoxO3系列样品进行X射线衍射(XRD)和变温电阻率(p~T)、比热(C~T)、磁化率(M~T)等测试,研究了Co掺杂对该系列样品的晶体结构和电热磁性质的影响.结果表明,随着Co掺杂量的增加,晶胞体积单调减小;电阻中电荷有序(charge ordering,CO)的特征逐渐消失.Co含量低的样品随着温度降低发生顺磁-反铁磁(PM-AFM)转变和金属-绝缘体(M-I)转变;Co含量高的样品则在磁转变温度以下表现出团簇玻璃型短程铁磁有序行为,并且在整个测量温区内具有金属导电特性.这些证明Co掺杂引起电子的局域化效应是导致体系电磁和输运行为发生变化的主要原因.  相似文献
