ecent advances in liquid-phase organic reactions over solid acids are described based on the catalyses of acidic clays and silica-included heteropoly compounds. Zinc ion-exchanged smectite clays, particularly nontronite clays, were effectively applied as insoluble, readily recoverable solid acid catalysts to liquid-phase Friedel-Crafts reactions. Montmorillonite K10 catalyzes the synthesis of alkylporphyrin derivatives from aliphatic aldehydes and pyrroles more efficiently than the conventional homogeneous acids such as BF3 etherate. 12-Tungstophosphoric acid and its acidic Cs salt could be included in a silica matrix by means of sol-gel technique involving hydrolysis of ethyl orthosilicate forming insoluble and easily separable solid acid catalysts. These silica-included heteropoly compounds were thermally more stable than an ion-exchange resin catalyst such as Amberlyst-15, and catalyzed the hydrolysis of ethyl acetate in the liquid phase more efficiently than the resin, H-ZSM-5 and even than aqueous heteropolyacid.  相似文献

Aryl alkynoate is an important intermediate and powerful synthetic tool in organic chemistry, because it contains acetylene bond which can be easily introduced of different functional groups. A paradigm shift away from using solvents in organic synthesis as solventless reactions can lead to improved outcomes, and more benign synthetic procedures, in for example aldol condensation reactions, sequential aldol and Michael addition reactions en route to Kr?hnke type pyridines, reactions leading to 3-carboxycoumarins, benzylidenes, 4-aryl-1,4-dihydropyridines and 2-aryl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinazolines, and oligomerisation reactions for the synthesis of cavitands; kinetic considerations for the reaction of two solids can only be explained if a eutectic melt is formed during the reaction.  相似文献

Exploratory evidence from our laboratories shows that acidic surfaces on atmospheric aerosols lead to very real and potentially multifold increases in secondary organic aerosol (SOA) mass and build-up of stabilized nonvolatile organic matter as particles age. One possible explanation for these heterogeneous processes are the acid-catalyzed (e.g., H2SO4 and HNO3) reactions of atmospheric multifunctional organic species (e.g., multifunctional carbonyl compounds) that are accommodated onto the particle phase from the gas phase. Volatile organic hydrocarbons (VOCs) from biogenic sources (e.g., terpenoids) and anthropogenic sources (aromatics) are significant precursors for multifunctional organic species. The sulfur content of fossil fuels, which is released into the atmosphere as SO2, results in the formation of secondary inorganic acidic aerosols or indigenous acidic soot particles (e.g., diesel soot). The predominance of SOAs contributing to PM2.5 (particulate matter, that is, 2.5 microm or smaller than 2.5 microm), and the prevalence of sulfur in fossil fuels suggests that interactions between these sources could be considerable. This study outlines a systematic approach for exploring the fundamental chemistry of these particle-phase heterogeneous reactions. If acid-catalyzed heterogeneous reactions of SOA products are included in next-generation models, the predicted SOA formation will be much greater and have a much larger impact on climate-forcing effects than we now predict. The combined study of both organic and inorganic acids will also enable greater understanding of the adverse health effects in biological pulmonary organs exposed to particles.  相似文献

Mechanofluorochromic materials, which are dependent on changes in physical molecular packing modes, have attracted considerable interest over the past ten years. In this review, recent progress in the area of pure organic mechanofluorochromism is summarized, and majority of the reported organic mechanofluorochromic systems are discussed, along with their derived structure-property relationships. The existence of a structural relationship between aggregation-induced emission compounds and mechanofluorochromism is recognized based on our recent results, which considered aggregation-induced emission compounds as a well of mechanofluorochromic materials. The established structure-property relationship will guide researchers in identifying and synthesizing more mechanofluorochromic materials.  相似文献

Iron-catalysed reactions are widely used in organic synthesis owing to its benefits over other metals. The majority of iron-catalysed multicomponent reactions results in the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds having biologically active natural products, pharmaceutical etc. These developments in the iron-catalysed multicomponent reactions are the focus of this review. The N-heterocyclic carbene(NHC)-catalyzed reactions involving two-electron reaction pathway have been well-established.However,the development of NHC-catalyzed radical reactions is still in its infancy in terms of reaction types and enantioselectivity.In the past decade,several elegant NHC-catalyzed radical reactions have been developed,including NHC-catalyzed oxidation of aldehydes to esters,reductive coupling reactions using Breslow intermediate as SET reductant and NHC-catalyzed reactions via radical homoenolates,dienoaltes and trienolates.This review summarizes the recent advances in NHC-catalyzed reactions involving radical intermediates.  相似文献
