Polynuclear heterovalent Au(III)-M(I) (M = Cu, Ag, Au) cluster complexes [Au(III)Cu(I)8(mu-dppm)3(tdt)5]+ (1), [Au(III)3Ag(I)8(mu-dppm)4(tdt)8]+ (2), and [Au(III)Au(I)4(mu-dppm)4(tdt)2]3+ (3) were prepared by reaction of [Au(III)(tdt)2]- (tdt = toluene-3,4-dithiolate) with 2 equiv of [M(I)2(dppm)2]2+ (dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane). Complex 3 originates from incorporation of one [Au(III)(tdt)2]- with two [Au(I)2(dppm)2]2+ components through Au(III)-S-Au(I) linkages. Formation of complexes 1 and 2, however, involves rupture of metal-ligand bonds in the metal components and recombination between the ligands and the metal atoms. The Au(tdt)2 component connects to four M(I) atoms through Au(III)-S-M(I) linkages in syn and anti conformations in complexes 1 (M = Cu) and 3 (M = Au), respectively, but in both syn and anti conformations in complex 2 (M = Ag). The tdt ligand exhibits five types of bonding modes in complexes 1-3, chelating Au(III) or M(I) atoms as well as bridging Au(III)-M(I) or M(I)-M(I) atoms in different orientations. Although complexes 1 and 2 are nonemissive, Au(III)Au(I)(4) complex 3 shows room-temperature luminescence with emission maximum at 555 nm (tau(em) = 3.1 micros) in the solid state and at 570 nm (tau(em) = 1.5 micros) in acetonitrile solution.  相似文献

Novel electroactive multimetallic compounds based on the [Pt(2)(mu(2)-S)(2)M] core, viz. [Pt(2)(PPh(3))(4)(mu(3)-S)(2)HgFc]PF(6) (1) [Fc = (eta(5)-C(5)H(4))Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))] and [Pt(2)(PPh(3))(4)(mu(3)-S)(2)Hg(2)Fc'](PF(6))(2) (2) [Fc' = Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4))(2)], have been synthesized under the guide of electrospray mass spectrometry. The electrochemistry of these ferrocene funtionalized compounds together with the reported [Pt(2)(PPh(3))(4)(mu(3)-S)(2)HgPPh(3)](PF(6))(2) (3), [Pt(2)(PPh(3))(4)(mu(2)-S)(mu(3)-S)HgPh]PF(6) (4), and [Pt(2)(PPh(3))(4)(mu(2)-S)(mu(3)-S)AuPPh(3)]PF(6) (5) have been investigated using cyclic voltammetry and DFT calculations. These results point to a prominent ligand-based oxidation.  相似文献

Reactions of Pt(diimine)(tdt) (tdt =3,4-toluenedithiolate) with [M(2)(dppm)(2)(MeCN)(2)](2+) (M = Cu(I) or Ag(I), dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane) gave heterotrinuclear complexes [PtCu(2)(tdt)(mu-SH)(dppm)(3)](ClO(4)) (1) and [PtCu(2)(diimine)(2)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (diimine = 2,2'-bpyridine (bpy) 2; 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (dmbpy) 3; phenanthroline (phen) 4, 5-bromophenanthroline (Brphen) 5) for M = Cu(I), but [PtAg(2)(tdt)(mu-SH)(dppm)(3)](SbF(6)) (6) and [PtAg(2)(diimine)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (diimine = bpy 7; dmbpy 8; phen 9; Brphen 10) for M = Ag(I). While the complexes [PtAg(2)(diimine)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (7-10) result from linkage of Pt(diimine)(tdt) and [M(2)(dppm)(2)(MeCN)(2)](2+) by tdt sulfur donors, formation of [PtCu(2)(diimine)(2)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (2-5) is related to rupture of metal-ligand bonds in the metal components and recombination between the ligands and the metal atoms by self-assembly. The formation of 1 and 6 is involved not only in dissociation and recombination of the metal components, but also in disruption of C-S bonds in the dithiolate (tdt). The dithiolate tdt adopts a chelating and bridging coordination mode in anti conformation for [PtCu(2)(diimine)(2)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (2-5), whereas there is the syn conformation for other complexes. Compounds 1 and 6 represent sparse examples of mu-SH-bridged heterotrinuclear Pt(II)M(I)(2) complexes, in which Pt(II)-M(I) centers are bridged by dppm and sulfur donors of tdt, whereas M(I)-M(I) (M = Cu for 1; Ag for 6) centers are linked by dppm and the mu-SH donor. The (31)P NMR spectra show typical platinum satellites (J(Pt-P) = 1450-1570 Hz) for 1-6 and Ag-P coupling for Pt(II)-Ag(I) (J(Ag-P) = 350-450 Hz) complexes 6-10. All of the complexes show intense emission in the solid state and in frozen glasses at 77 K. The complexes [PtAg(2)(diimine)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (7-10) also afford emission in fluid acetonitrile solutions at room temperature. Solid-state emission lifetimes at room temperature are in the microsecond range. It is revealed that emission energies of the trinuclear heterometallic complexes [PtAg(2)(diimine)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (7-10) exhibit a remarkable blue shift (0.10-0.35 eV) relative to those of the precursor compounds Pt(diimine)(tdt). The crystal structures of 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 9 were determined by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Reaction of cis-[RuCl2(dppm)2] (dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane) with CS2 and NaOH yields the first ruthenium dithiocarbonate complex, [Ru(kappa2-S2C=O)(dppm)2]. Protonation with tetrafluoroboric acid affords the xanthate complex [Ru(kappa2-S2COH)(dppm)2]BF4 in a reversible manner, suggesting that this may be an intermediate in dithiocarbonate formation. [Ru(kappa2-S2C=O)(dppm)2] reacts with methyl iodide or [Me3O]BF4 to give [Ru(kappa2-S2COMe)(dppm)2]+, also obtained from the reaction of cis-[RuCl2dppm)2] with CS2 and NaOMe. Two modifications of [Ru(kappa2-S(2)C=O)(dppm)2] were examined crystallographically and the structure of [Ru(kappa2-S2COMe)(dppm)2]BF4 and a new modification of cis-[RuCl2(dppm)2] are also reported.  相似文献

A series of new heterometallic coordination polymers has been prepared from the reaction of metal-ligand cations and KAg(CN)(2) units. Many of these contain silver-silver (argentophilic) interactions, analogous to gold-gold interactions, which serve to increase supramolecular structural dimensionality. Compared to [Au(CN)(2)](-) analogues, these polymers display new trends specific to [Ag(CN)(2)](-), including the formation of [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-) and the presence of Ag...N interactions. [Cu(en)(2)][Ag(2)(CN)(3)][Ag(CN)(2)] (1, en = ethylenediamine) forms 1-D chains of alternating [Ag(CN)(2)](-) and [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-) units via argentophilic interactions of 3.102(1) A. These chains are connected into a 2-D array by strong cyano(N)-Ag interactions of 2.572(3) A. [Cu(dien)Ag(CN)(2)](2)[Ag(2)(CN)(3)][Ag(CN)(2)] (2, dien = diethylenetriamine) forms a 1-D chain of alternating [Cu(dien)](2+) and [Ag(CN)(2)](-) ions with the Cu(II) atoms connected in an apical/equatorial fashion. These chains are cross-linked by [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-) units via argentophilic interactions of 3.1718(8) A and held weakly in a 3-D array by argentophilic interactions of 3.2889(5) A between the [Ag(CN)(2)](-) in the 2-D array and the remaining free [Ag(CN)(2)](-). [Ni(en)][Ni(CN)(4)].2.5H(2)O (4) was identified as a byproduct in the reaction to prepare the previously reported [Ni(en)(2)Ag(2)(CN)(3)][Ag(CN)(2)] (3). In [Ni(tren)Ag(CN)(2)][Ag(CN)(2)] (5, tren = tris(2-aminoethyl)amine), [Ni(tren)](2+) cations are linked in a cis fashion by [Ag(CN)(2)](-) anions to form a 1-D chain similar to the [Au(CN)(2)](-) analogue. [Cu(en)Cu(CN)(2)Ag(CN)(2)] (6) is a trimetallic polymer consisting of interpenetrating (6,3) nets stabilized by d(10)-d(10) interactions between Cu(I)-Ag(I) (3.1000(4) A). Weak antiferromagnetic coupling has been observed in 2, and a slightly stronger exchange has been observed in 6. The Ni(II) complexes, 4 and 5, display weak antiferromagnetic interactions as indicated by their relatively larger D values compared to that of 3. Magnetic measurements on isostructural [Ni(tren)M(CN)(2)][M(CN)(2)] (M = Ag, Au) show that Ag(I) is a more efficient mediator of magnetic exchange as compared to Au(I). The formation of [Ni(CN)(4)](2)(-), [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-), and [Cu(CN)(2)](-) are all attributed to secondary reactions of the dissociation products of the labile KAg(CN)(2).  相似文献

Syntheses and Structure of Chiral Metallatetrahedron Complexes of the Type [Re2(M1PPh3)(M2PPh3)(μ‐PCy2)(CO)7C≡CPh] (M1 = Ag, Au; M2 = Cu, Ag, Au) From the reaction of Li[Re2(μ‐H)(μ‐PCy2)(CO)7(C(Ph)O)] ( 1 ) with Ph3AuC≡CPh both benzaldehyde and the trinuclear complex Li[Re2(AuPPh3)(μ‐PCy2)(CO)7C≡CPh] ( 2a ) were obtained in high yield. The complex anion was isolated as its PPh4‐salt 2b . The latter reacts with coinage metal complexes PPh3M2Cl [M2 = Cu, Ag, Au] to give chiral heterometallatetrahedranes of the general formula [Re2(AuPPh3)(M2PPh3)(μ‐PCy2)(CO)7C≡CPh] (M2 = Cu 3a , Ag 3b , Au 3c ). The corresponding complex [Re2(AgPPh3)2(μ‐PCy2)(CO)7C≡CPh] ( 3d ) is obtained from the reaction of [Re2(AgPPh3)2(μ‐PCy2)(CO)7Cl] ( 4 ) with LiC≡CPh. 3d undergoes a metathesis reaction in the presence of PPh3CuCl giving [Re2(AgPPh3)(CuPPh3)(μ‐PCy2)(CO)7C≡CPh] ( 3e ) and PPh3AgCl. Analogous metathesis reactions are observed when 3c is reacted with PPh3AgCl or PPh3CuCl giving 3a or 3b , respectively. The reaction of 1 with PPh3AuCl gives benzaldehyde and Li[Re2(AuPPh3)(μ‐PCy2)(CO)7Cl] ( 5a ) which upon reaction with PhLi forms the trinuclear complex Li[Re2(AuPPh3)(μ‐PCy2)(CO)7Ph] ( 6a ). Again this complex was isolated as its PPh4‐salt 6b . In contrast to 2b , 6b reacts with one equivalent of Ph3PAuCl by transmetalation to give Ph3PAuPh and PPh4[Re2(AuPPh3)(μ‐PCy2)(CO)7Cl] ( 5b ). The X‐ray structures of the compounds 3a , 3b , 3e and 4 are reported.  相似文献

A complete vibrational spectra analysis of the Pd(phen)(bdt), the free ligands, where phen=1,10-phenanthroline and bdt=1,2-benzenedithiolate and the starting material of its synthesis, Pd(phen)Cl(2), is performed in this paper. The molecular geometry, binding and spectroscopic properties for the aforementioned compounds are studied in detail by FT-IR, Raman and DFT methods using B3LYP functional together with basis sets of valence triple-zeta quality. Further, changes in FT-IR and Raman spectra during complexation are monitored revealing the electron delocalization over ligands. They are also consistent with pi-back donation theory.  相似文献

The equilibrium geometries and the vibration frequencies of M2As and M2Br+ (M = Cu, Ag, Au) are calculated at the Hartree–Fock (HF) and the second‐order Møller–Plesset (MP2) levels with pseudopotentials. The calculated results indicate that the species have a bent structure (C2v). The electron correlation corrections on the geometrical structure are investigated at the MP2 level, the bond angles are reduced by 10°–20° for considered species. The electron correlation effects on the geometry of the Au2As are studied particularly at MP2, MP3, MP4, CCSD and CCSD(T) levels. Comparing the species containing Ag and Au, the relativistic effects slightly short the bond lengths of the species. The bonding possibility of the Au2As is predicted. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. The weak metal-metal interactions of Pt(II)-Ag(I)/Cu(I) have been investigated by ab initio method at MP2 level through the model complexes [trans-Pt(PH3)2(CN)2-M(PH3)2+] (M=Ag,Cu). The calculated interaction energy of 12.9 and 11.5 kcal mol(-1) for [trans-Pt(PH3)2(CN)2-Ag(PH3)2+] and [trans-Pt(PH3)2(CN)2-Cu(PH3)2+] respectively, are in the middle of the van der Waals force and the strong hydrogen bond. The estimated equilibrium separations between Pt and M, r(eq)(Pt-M) (3.32 A for M=Ag and 3.23 A for M=Cu), lie within the region expected for weak metal-metal interaction. The electronic dispersive contributions dominate the weak interaction.  相似文献

Two novel heterometallic octahedral clusters [Rh(4)Pt(2)(CO)(11)(dppm)(2)](1) and [Ru(2)Rh(2)Pt(2)(CO)(12)(dppm)(2)](2) were synthesized by the reaction of [Rh(2)Pt(2)(CO)(6)(dppm)(2)] with [Rh(6)(CO)(14)(NCMe)(2)] and Ru(3)(CO)(12), respectively. Solid state structures of 1 and 2 have been established by a single crystal X-ray diffraction study. Two dppm ligands in 1 are bonded to one platinum and three rhodium atoms, which form an equatorial plane of the Rh(4)Pt(2) octahedron. Two rhodium and two platinum atoms bound to the diphosphine ligands in 2 are nonplanar to give an octahedral C2 symmetric Ru(2)Rh(2)Pt(2)(dppm)2 framework. The (31)P NMR investigation of and (1D, (31)P COSY, (31)P-[(103)Rh] HMQC) and simulation of 1D spectral patterns showed that in both clusters the structures of the M(6)(PP)(2) fragments found in the solid state are maintained in solution.  相似文献

This review is focused on theoretical aspects of mixed diimine–dithiolate complexes by means of DFT and TD-DFT methods. Thus, the geometry, the character of charge-transfer transitions and excited states in a series of M(diimine)(dithiolate), where M = Ni, Pd and Pt, is examined by DFT and TD-DFT techniques combined with polarized continuum model. The theoretical calculations reveal not only the role of the ligands – namely diimine and dithiolato and their substituents – but also the role of the metal in the excited triplet and singlet states and as a consequence in the properties of these complexes (electronic and photophysics) and their potential use as photosensitizers, NLO materials, light energy conversion materials and biological agents. The calculated energies of the lowest triplet and singlet state in all these complexes are in good agreement with absorption spectra and luminescence studies—where they are available. The contribution of the metal in the chemical and photophysics properties of this class of compounds is also demonstrated by two indices derived by DFT techniques: NICS (for chemical) and Fukui functions (for chemical and photophysical properties). The former acts as a meter of the delocalization of these molecules whereas the latter identifies the reactive centres of the molecule. All the theoretical results are in accordance with the experimental ones—geometrical structures, absorption, luminescence and 1H NMR spectra as well as products of given reactions, indicating the applicability of the DFT and TD-DFT techniques in examining the properties of metal coordinated complexes especially in a series of the same class of compounds.  相似文献

Two enantiomers of [Bu(4)N](3)[Cu(3)(mnt)(3)] () formed by Na(2)(mnt) (mnt = maleonitriledithiolate, [S(2)C(2)(CN)(2)](2-)) and CuCl in a 1 : 1 molar ratio react further with MCl (M = Cu or Ag) involving both the enantiomers of to produce the larger complex, [Bu(4)N](4)[Cu(6)M(2)(mnt)(6)] (M = Cu (2), Ag (3)) from which the capped Cu(+) or Ag(+) ion can readily be removed by Bu(4)NX (X = Cl, Br), reverting or back to . Such reversal does not work with non-coordinating anions like BF(4)(-), ClO(4)(-) and PF(6)(-).  相似文献

A neutral selenium donor ligand, [CpFe(CO)(2)P(Se)(OR)(2)] is used for the construction of Cu(I) and Ag(I) complexes with a well-defined coordination environment. Four clusters [M{CpFe(CO)(2)P(Se)(OR)(2)}(3)](PF(6)), (where M = Cu, R = (n)Pr, ; R = (i)Pr, and M = Ag, R = (n)Pr, ; R = (i)Pr, ) are isolated from the reaction of [M(CH(3)CN)(4)(PF(6))] (where M = Cu or Ag) and [CpFe(CO)(2)P(Se)(OR)(2)] in a molar ratio of 1 : 3 in acetonitrile at 0 degrees C. The reaction of [CpFe(CO)(2)P(Se)(O(i)Pr)(2)] with cuprous halides in acetone produce two mixed-metal, Cu(I)(2)Fe(II)(2) clusters, [Cu(mu-X) {CpFe(CO)(2)P(Se)(O(i)Pr)(2)}](2) (X = Cl, ; Br, ). All six clusters have been fully characterized spectroscopically ((1)H, (13)C, (31)P, and (77)Se NMR, IR), and by elemental analyses. X-Ray crystal structures of and consist of discrete cationic clusters in which three iron-selenophosphito fragments are linked to the central copper or silver atom via selenium atoms. Both clusters and crystallize in the noncentrosymmetric, hexagonal space group P6[combining macron]2c. The coordination geometry around the copper or silver atom is perfect trigonal-planar with Cu-Se and Ag-Se distances, 2.3505(7) and 2.5581(7) A, respectively. X-Ray crystallography also reveals that each copper center in neutral heterometallic clusters and is trigonally coordinated to two halide ions and a selenium atom from the selenophosphito-iron moiety. The structures can also be delineated as a dimeric unit which is generated by an inversion center and has a Cu(2)X(2) parallelogram core. The dihedral angle between the Cu(2)X(2) plane and the plane composed of Cp ring is found to be 24.62 and 84.58 degrees for compound and , respectively. Hence the faces of two opposite Cp rings are oriented almost perpendicular to the Cu(2)X(2) plane in , but are close to be parallel in . This is the first report of the coordination chemistry of the anionic selenophosphito moiety [(RO)(2)PSe](-), the conjugated base of a secondary phosphine selenide, which acts as a bridging ligand with P-coordination on iron and Se-coordination to copper or silver.  相似文献

The reactions of [MCl2(PP)] and [MCl2(PR3)2)] with 1-mercapto-2-phenyl-o-carborane/NaSeCboPh and 1,2-dimercapto-o-carborane yield mononuclear complexes of composition, [M(SCboPh)2(PP)], [M(SeCboPh)2(PP)] (M = Pd or Pt; PP = dppm (bis(diphenylphosphino)methane), dppe (1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane) or dppp (1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane)) and [M(SCboS)(PR3)2] (2PR3 = dppm, dppe, 2PEt3, 2PMe2Ph, 2PMePh2 or 2PPh3). These complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis and NMR (1H, 31P, 77Se and 195Pt) spectroscopy. The 1J(Pt–P) values and 195Pt NMR chemical shifts are influenced by the nature of phosphine as well as thiolate ligand. The carborane rings are mutually anti in [Pt(SCboPh)2(dppm)] and [Pt(SeCboPh)2(dppm)].  相似文献

Syntheses of the copper and gold complexes [Cu{Fe(CO)5}2][SbF6] and [Au{Fe(CO)5}2][HOB{3,5-(CF3)2C6H3}3] containing the homoleptic carbonyl cations [M{Fe(CO)5}2]+ (M=Cu, Au) are reported. Structural data of the rare, trimetallic Cu2Fe, Ag2Fe and Au2Fe complexes [Cu{Fe(CO)5}2][SbF6], [Ag{Fe(CO)5}2][SbF6] and [Au{Fe(CO)5}2][HOB{3,5-(CF3)2C6H3}3] are also given. The silver and gold cations [M{Fe(CO)5}2]+ (M=Ag, Au) possess a nearly linear Fe-M-Fe’ moiety but the Fe-Cu-Fe’ in [Cu{Fe(CO)5}2][SbF6] exhibits a significant bending angle of 147° due to the strong interaction with the [SbF6] anion. The Fe(CO)5 ligands adopt a distorted square-pyramidal geometry in the cations [M{Fe(CO)5}2]+, with the basal CO groups inclined towards M. The geometry optimization with DFT methods of the cations [M{Fe(CO)5}2]+ (M=Cu, Ag, Au) gives equilibrium structures with linear Fe-M-Fe’ fragments and D2 symmetry for the copper and silver cations and D4d symmetry for the gold cation. There is nearly free rotation of the Fe(CO)5 ligands around the Fe-M-Fe’ axis. The calculated bond dissociation energies for the loss of both Fe(CO)5 ligands from the cations [M{Fe(CO)5}2]+ show the order M=Au (De=137.2 kcal mol−1)>Cu (De=109.0 kcal mol−1)>Ag (De=92.4 kcal mol−1). The QTAIM analysis shows bond paths and bond critical points for the M−Fe linkage but not between M and the CO ligands. The EDA-NOCV calculations suggest that the [Fe(CO)5]→M+←[Fe(CO)5] donation is significantly stronger than the [Fe(CO)5]←M+→[Fe(CO)5] backdonation. Inspection of the pairwise orbital interactions identifies four contributions for the charge donation of the Fe(CO)5 ligands into the vacant (n)s and (n)p AOs of M+ and five components for the backdonation from the occupied (n-1)d AOs of M+ into vacant ligand orbitals.  相似文献
