The luminescent properties of terbium complexes with furosemide (FR), flufenamic (FF) acid, tolfenamic (TF) acid and mefenamic (MF) acid have been investigated in aqueous solutions. For all four compounds, complexation occurs when the carboxylic acid of the aminobenzoic group is dissociated and is greatly favoured in the presence of trioctylphosphine oxide as co-ligand and Triton X-100 as surfactant. Under optimum conditions, luminescence of the lanthanide ion is efficiently sensitised and the lifetime of the resonance level of terbium in the complex is ranging between 1 and 1.9 ms, against 0.4 ms for the aqua ion. The sensitivity of the method for the determination of anthranilic acid derivatives is improved by one to two orders of magnitude with respect to that achieved using native fluorescence or terbium-sensitised luminescence in methanol. The limits of detection are 2×10−10, 5×10−10 and 2×10−9 mol l−1 for flufenamic acid, furosemide and tolfenamic acid, and mefenamic acid, respectively, with within-run RSD values of less than 1%. The method has been applied to the determination of flufenamic acid in spiked calf sera with and without sample pretreatment. Depending on the method and the analyte concentration, the recovery was ranging between 83 and 113% and the lowest concentration attainable in serum samples was close to 1×10−7 mol l−1.  相似文献

The determination of salicylic, p-aminosalicylic and 5-fluorosalicylic acids was investigated using terbium-sensitized luminescence in aqueous solutions. Formation of a ternary chelate between terbium, EDTA and the salicylic acid requires dissociation of the phenol group which is adjacent to the dissociated carboxylic group. The reaction is obtained in alkaline solutions and is enhanced in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium chloride. As evidenced by absorbance and fluorescence measurements, the cationic surfactant plays an important role in the formation of the ternary chelate and then terbium luminescence depends mainly on the extent of chelate formation. Linearity is found over more than four orders of magnitude and detection limits are in the range (2-4) x 10(-10) mol l-1 for the three acids.  相似文献

The quadruple complex formed by terbium with 4-chlorosalicylic acid (CSA), EDTA and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTMAB) has been used for the sensitive spectrofluorometric determination of terbium in mixed rare earths. The effect of the experimental conditions on the fluorescence intensity was defined. Under the optimum conditions selected, the fluorescence intensity was linear with the terbium concentration in the range of 3.0 x 10(-8)-1.0 x 10(-5) mol/L with a detection limit of 8.0 x 10(-9) mol/L (S/N = 3). It has been satisfactory for the determination of terbium in mixed rare earths with good recovery.  相似文献

An electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) method for the determination of pethidine, atropine, homatropine and cocaine is described. The optimum conditions were found to be similar for all of these compounds although the ECL emission intensity for cocaine was an order of magnitude lower than for pethidine due to their different chemical structures. Linear calibrations were obtained for all the compounds at pH 10 in borate buffer (0.05 mol l-1) at 1.3 V. Limits of detection of 6.8 x 10(-8), 2.2 x 10(-7), 3.2 x 10(-7) and 6.5 x 10(-7) mol l-1, respectively, were achieved for pethidine, atropine, homatropine and cocaine in standard solutions. Solid-phase extraction was used to separate the drugs from their matrix and the method was applied to the determination of spiked urine samples. The limits of quantitation for pethidine, atropine, homatropine and cocaine in urine were 1.0 x 10(-6), 2.0 x 10(-6), 2.0 x 10(-6) and 4.0 x 10(-6) mol l-1, respectively, with recoveries of between 90 and 110%.  相似文献

It has been found that the electrochemical activity of glutathione was increased greatly at the glassy carbon electrodes modified with 5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphine ruthenium(II) carbenyl (RuTPP), meso-tetraphenylporphine copper(II) complex (CuTTP) and hemin. It has been also found that glutathione would enhance the electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) of Ru(bpy)3(2+) at a hemin glassy carbon electrode; the enhanced ECL intensity was linear with the concentration of glutathione in the range of 1 x 10(-7)-1 x 10(-4) mol l-1, based on which method for determination of glutathione has been developed. The detection limit of glutathione was 2 x 10(-8) mol l-1, and the relative standard deviation for 1 x 10(-6) mol l-1 glutathione was 2.7%. The mechanism for this ECL system has been proposed.  相似文献

10(-9) mol l-1 levels of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) suspected for certain noxious materials can be determined and separated by UV-detection capillary electrophoresis following a two-step concentration system. When the conditions of the homogeneous liquid-liquid extraction were [THF]T = 5 vol%, [HCl]T = 0.66 mol l-1, and [PFOA]T = 2 x 10(-3) mol l-1 (i.e., the volume of sample solution; 50 ml-->sedimented phase; 30 microliters), the extraction percentages of benzo[a]pyrene (Bap) and pyrene (Py) at 10(-6) mol l-1 were 102 and 97.5%, respectively. Also, when the total concentration factor(volume ratio), which includes that of the sweeping method, was 8335-fold, the determination range of Bap was 6.4 x 10(-9)-8.0 x 10(-7) mol l-1 and for Py, 8.0 x 10(-9)-7.0 x 10(-7) mol l-1. The detection limits (3 sigma) of Bap and Py were 1.6 x 10(-9) and 4.8 x 10(-9) mol l-1, respectively.  相似文献

New luminescent terbium complex for the determination of DNA   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
New terbium complexes of derivatives of 2-oxo-4-hydroxy-quinoline-3-carboxylic acid are reported, which are highly luminescent, water soluble and do not require luminescence enhancers. The triplet-state energy levels of the ligands, the relative quantum yields (QYs) and the excitation maxima of the respective terbium chelates were determined. The large luminescence enhancement of one of these complexes by nucleic acids was investigated and a mechanism of its interaction with DNA is proposed. The optimal conditions for determination of DNA are equal concentrations of Tb(3+) and ligand R(1) (C = 1 x 10(-6) M), pH 9.0. Under optimal conditions the luminescence intensity (RI) is proportional to the concentration of fish sperm DNA (fsDNA) or calf thymus DNA (ctDNA), respectively, within the range of 0.05-1.5 microg ml(-1). The detection limits were 10 ng ml(-1) for fsDNA and 12 ng ml(-1) for ctDNA.  相似文献

Lanthanide porphyrin complexes synthesized by a solid state method were used to prepare a novel ethacrynic acid (EA) sensor. The sensor, based on pentane-2,4-dionato(meso-tetraphenylporphinato)terbium [TbTPP(acac)] with an optimized membrane composition, exhibits a Nernstian response to EA- ion in the concentration range 7.4 x 10(-6)-1.0 x 10(-1) mol l-1 with a pH range from 3.2 to 6.8 and a fast response time of 30 s. The electrode shows improved selectivity towards EA- ion with respect to common co-existing ions compared with the previously reported EA sensor. As electroactive materials, lanthanide porphyrin complexes show better potentiometric response characteristics than copper porphyrin complexes. The effect of solvent mediators and lipophilic ion additives was studied and the experimental conditions were optimized. The electrode was applied to the determination of EA in human urine samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

The viability of tandem photochemical reaction-chemiluminescence detection was studied for a heterogeneous family of nitro compounds using chloramphenicol as a test substance. The 'on-line' chemical photodegradation of chloramphenicol was performed in a flow injection assembly by using a photoreactor consisting of a 725 cm x 0.5 mm id piece of PTFE tubing coiled around an 8 W low-pressure mercury lamp. Photodegraded chloramphenicol was detected by oxidizing photo-fragments from the parent compound and their subsequent reaction with a luminol-Co(II) system. The calibration graph was linear up to 3 x 10(-5) mol l-1 chloramphenicol, the limit of detection was 3 x 10(-9) mol l-1, the relative standard deviation was 1.8% for 2 x 10(-6) mol l-1 of the drug and the sample throughput was 60 h-1. The proposed method was used to determine chloramphenicol in pharmaceutical formulations and its application to other related nitro compounds was studied.  相似文献

A simple new chemiluminescent, CL, method is described for the determination of fluoroquinolones such as: ciprofloxacin (CF), norfloxacin (NF), and ofloxacin (OF). This method is based on the measurement of terbium(iii) emission. This emission follows an energy transfer to the uncomplexed terbium(iii) ions from the excited products of fluoroquinolone oxidations. Under optimum conditions, calibration graphs were obtained for 2 × 10(-8)-2 × 10(-6) mol L(-1) of NF; 3 × 10(-8)-2 × 10(-6) mol L(-1) of CF and 4 × 10(-7)-5 × 10(-5) mol L(-1) of OF. The detection limits are 7 × 10(-9) mol L(-1) norfloxacin, 1 × 10(-8) mol L(-1) ciprofloxacin and 1.5 × 10(-7) mol L(-1) ofloxacin. The method was successfully applied to the determination of these drugs in pharmaceutical formulations.  相似文献

Using a common spectrofluorometer to measure the intensity of Rayleigh light-scattering (RLS), a method for determination of nucleic acids has been developed. At pH 10.24 and ionic strength 0.01 mol l-1 (NaCl), the Rayleigh light-scattering of the tetra-(N-hexadecylpyridiniumyl) porphyrin (TC16PyP) is greatly enhanced by nucleic acids in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTMAB), with the scattering peak located at 311.8 nm. The enhanced RLS intensity is in proportion to the concentration of calf thymus DNA (ctDNA) in the range 0.2-6.0 microg ml-1 and to that of fish sperm DNA (fsDNA) in the range 0.05-3.0microg ml-1. The limits of detection are 0.016 microg ml-1 for calf thymus DNA and 0.023 microg ml-1 for fish sperm DNA when the concentration of TPP was chosen 2.0 x 10(-6) mol l-1. Four synthetic samples were determined satisfactorily.  相似文献

The determination of iron(II) with 1,10-phenanthroline in aqueous solutions was carried out exemplarily by thermal lens spectrometry. The peculiarities of analytical reactions at the nanogram level of reactants can be studied using this method. Under the conditions of the competing reaction of ligand protonation, the overall stability constant for iron(II) chelate with 1,10-phenanthroline was determined at a level of n x 10(-7) mol L(-1), logbeta3 = 21.3+/-0.1. The rates of formation and dissociation of iron(II) tris-(1,10-phenanthrolinate) at a level of n x 10(-8) mol L(-1) were found to be (2.05+/-0.05) x 10(-2) min(-1) and (3.0+/-0.1) x 10(-3) min(-1), respectively. The conditions for the determination of iron(II) with 1,10-phenanthroline by thermal lensing were reconsidered, and ascorbic acid was shown to be the best reducing agent, which provided minimum and reproducible sample pretreatment. Changes in the conditions at the nanogram level improved both the selectivity and sensitivity of determination. The optimum measurement conditions for thermal lensing were determined not only by the absorption of the analyte and reagents, but also by the background absorption of the solvent. The limits of detection and quantification of iron(II) at 488.0 nm (excitation beam power 140 mW) are 1 x 10(-9) and 6 x 10(-9) mol L(-1), respectively; the reproducibility RSD for the range n x 10(-8)-n x 10(-6) mol L(-1) is 2-5%.  相似文献

A novel cetylpyridinium chloride-selective membrane sensor consisting of cetylpyridinium-ferric thiocyanate ion pairs dispersed in a PVC matrix placticized with dioctylphthalate is described. The electrode shows a stable, near-Nernstian response for 1 x 10(-3)-1 x 10(-6) mol l-1 cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) at 25 degrees C over the pH range 1-6 with a cationic slope of 57.5 +/- 0.4. The lower detection limit is 8 x 10(-7) mol l-1 and the response time is 30-60 s. Selectivity coefficients for CPC relative to a number of interfering substances were investigated. There is negligible interference from many cations, anions and pharmaceutical excipients; however, cetyltrimethylammonim bromide (CTMAB) interfered significantly. The determination of 0.5-350 micrograms/ml of CPC in aqueous solutions shows an average recovery of 98.5% and a mean relative standard deviation of 1.6% at 56.0 micrograms/ml. The direct determination of CPC in Ezafluor mouthwash gave results that compare favorably with those obtained by the British Pharmacopoeia method. Precipitation titrations involving CPC as titrant are monitored with a CP sensor. The CP electrode has been utilized as an end point indicator electrode for the determination of anionic surfactants in some commercial detergents.  相似文献

Protolytic properties of (+)-(S)-2-(6-methoxynaphthalen-2-yl)propanoic acid (naproxen), 2-(3-benzoylphenyl)propionic acid (ketoprofen), 4-chloro-N-(2-furylmethyl)-5-sulfamoylanthranilic acid (furosemide), and N-(2,3-dimethylphenyl)anthranilic acid (mefenamic acid) in “oil-in-water” emulsions stabilized by surfactants were studied. The procedures for alkalimetric determination of naproxen, ketoprofen, furosemide, and mefenamic acid in emulsion media with indication of the equivalence point pH-metrically and with the use of indicators were proposed.  相似文献

The energetics of the phenolic O-H bond in the three hydroxybenzoic acid isomers and of the intramolecular hydrogen O-H- - -O-C bond in 2-hydroxybenzoic acid, 2-OHBA, were investigated by using a combination of experimental and theoretical methods. The standard molar enthalpies of formation of monoclinic 3- and 4-hydroxybenzoic acids, at 298.15 K, were determined as Delta(f)(3-OHBA, cr) = -593.9 +/- 2.0 kJ x mol(-1) and Delta(f)(4-OHBA, cr) = -597.2 +/- 1.4 kJ x mol(-1), by combustion calorimetry. Calvet drop-sublimation calorimetric measurements on monoclinic samples of 2-, 3-, and 4-OHBA, led to the following enthalpy of sublimation values at 298.15 K: Delta(sub)(2-OHBA) = 94.4 +/- 0.4 kJ x mol(-1), Delta(sub)(3-OHBA) = 118.3 +/- 1.1 kJ x mol(-1), and Delta(sub)(4-OHBA) = 117.0 +/- 0.5 kJ x mol(-1). From the obtained Delta(f)(cr) and Delta(sub) values and the previously reported enthalpy of formation of monoclinic 2-OHBA (-591.7 +/- 1.3 kJ x mol(-1)), it was possible to derive Delta(f)(2-OHBA, g) = -497.3 +/- 1.4 kJ x mol(-1), Delta(f)(3-OHBA, g) = -475.6 +/- 2.3 kJ x mol(-1), and Delta(f)(4-OHBA, cr) = -480.2 +/- 1.5 kJ x mol(-1). These values, together with the enthalpies of isodesmic and isogyric gas-phase reactions predicted by density functional theory (B3PW91/aug-cc-pVDZ, MPW1PW91/aug-cc-pVDZ, and MPW1PW91/aug-cc-pVTZ) and the CBS-QMPW1 methods, were used to derive the enthalpies of formation of the gaseous 2-, 3-, and 4-carboxyphenoxyl radicals as (2-HOOCC(6)H(4)O(*), g) = -322.5 +/- 3.0 kJ.mol(-1) Delta(f)(3-HOOCC(6)H(4)O(*), g) = -310.0 +/- 3.0 kJ x mol(-1), and Delta(f)(4-HOOCC(6)H(4)O(*), g) = -318.2 +/- 3.0 kJ x mol(-1). The O-H bond dissociation enthalpies in 2-OHBA, 3-OHBA, and 4-OHBA were 392.8 +/- 3.3, 383.6 +/- 3.8, and 380.0 +/- 3.4 kJ x mol(-1), respectively. Finally, by using the ortho-para method, it was found that the H- - -O intramolecular hydrogen bond in the 2-carboxyphenoxyl radical is 25.7 kJ x mol(-1), which is ca. 6-9 kJ x mol(-1) above the one estimated in its parent (2-OHBA), viz. 20.2 kJ x mol(-1) (theoretical) or 17.1 +/- 2.1 kJ x mol(-1) (experimental).  相似文献

A highly sensitive spectrofluorimetric method is proposed for determination of human serum albumin (HSA) and some quinolone drugs. Using quinolones-terbium (Tb3+) complex as a fluorescent probe, in the buffer solution of pH 7.8, HSA can remarkably enhance the fluorescence intensity of the quinolones-Tb3+ complex at 545 nm and the enhanced fluorescence intensity of Tb3+ ion is in proportion to the concentration of HSA and quinolone drugs. Optimum conditions for the determination of HSA were also investigated. The linear ranges and limits of detection are 8.0 x 10(-9) to 8.0 x 10(-8) mol L(-1), 4.20 x 10(-9) mol L(-1) (for HSA); 1.0 x 10(-6) to 4.0 x 10(-6) mol L(-1), 1.87 x 10(-8) mol L(-1) (for norfloxacin) and 1.0 x 10(-7) to 1.0 x 10(-6) mol L(-1), 4.82 x 10(-8) mol L(-1) (for enoxacine), respectively. This method is simple, practical and relatively free interference from coexisting substances, as well as much more sensitive than most of the existing assays.  相似文献

The determination of tetracyclines (TC) in aqueous solutions, based on europium-sensitized fluorescence, has been improved using EDTA as co-ligand and cetyltrimethylammonium chloride as surfactant. The method involves working in slightly alkaline solutions with the formation of a new chelate where the lanthanide ion is bound to the beta-diketone group. The method is about 6 times more sensitive than that with the Eu-TC-Triton system and LODs are 2.5 x 10(-10), 5 x 10(-10), 1.5 x 10(-9) and 2 x 10(-9) mol l-1 for TC, oxytetracycline, chlortetracycline and doxycycline, respectively. The method has been applied to the determination of TC in calf serum without sample pretreatment. The mean recovery was close to 102% and the lowest concentration attainable in serum samples was better than 0.1 microgram ml-1.  相似文献

Three simple, accurate and sensitive spectrophotometric methods are developed for the determination of some new drugs for the treatment of osteoporosis: risedronate sodium (I), alendronate sodium (II) and etidronate disodium (III). The first method is based on the measurement of difference in absorbance (Delta A) of risedronate sodium in 0.01 mol l(-1) hydrochloric and 0.1 mol l(-1) sodium hydroxide at 262 nm. Beer's law is obeyed over a concentration range of 15-150 microg ml(-1) with mean recovery 99.75+/-1.22 and molar absorptivity (epsilon) 1.891 x 10(3). The second method is based on the reaction of the primary amino group of (II) with ninhydrin reagent in methanolic medium in the presence of 0.05 mol l(-1) sodium bicarbonate. The colored product is measured at 568 nm, and the linearity range is found to be 3.75-45 microg ml(-1) with mean recovery 99.77+/-0.73 and epsilon 9.425 x 10(3). The third method is based on oxidation of the three mentioned drugs with ceric (IV) sulphate in 0.5 mol l(-1) sulphuric acid at room temperature and subsequent measurement of the excess unreacted cerium (IV) sulphate at 320 nm. The method obeyed Beer's law over a concentration range of 2-24 microg ml(-1) for the three drugs with mean recovery 99.79+/-1.16, 99.73+/-1.38 and 99.86+/-1.13 and epsilon 14.427 x 10(3), 13.813 x 10(3) and 14.000 x 10(3) for drugs I, II, III respectively. The proposed methods were successfully applied for the determination of the studied drugs in bulk powder and in pharmaceutical formulations. The results were found to agree statistically with those obtained the reported methods. Furthermore, the methods were validated according to USP regulations and also assessed by applying the standard addition technique.  相似文献

To improve the stability of optochemical sensors (optodes), the fluorescence indicator 1-amino-4-allyloxyanthraquinone (AAA), which was synthesized by reacting allyl bromide with 1-amino-4-hydroxyanthraquinone, was covalently immobilized on surface-modified glass slides. The resulting sensor was used to determine the content of ornidazole based on fluorescence quenching. It showed a linear response toward ornidazole in the concentration range of 9.0 x 10(-6) to 1.0 x 10(-3) mol L(-1) with a detection limit of 8 x 10(-6) mol L(-1) at pH 7.5. This AAA-immobilized sensor has a rapid response, high stability and good selectivity to ornidazole.  相似文献

In aqueous solution at pH 10.0, 298.2 K and I = 0.10 mol dm(-3)(NaClO(4)) spectrophotometric UV-visible studies yield the sequential formation constants: K(11) = (2.83 +/- 0.28) x 10(5) dm(3) mol(-1) for alphaCD.E-(-), K(21) = (6.93 +/- 0.06) x 10(3) dm(3) mol(-1) for (alphaCD)(2).E-3(-), K(11) = (1.24 +/- 0.12) x 10(5) dm(3) mol(-1) for betaCD.E-(-), K(21) = (1.22 +/- 0.06) x 10(4) dm(3) mol(-1) for (betaCD)(2).E-(-), K(11) = (3.08 +/- 0.03) x 10(5) dm(3) mol(-1) for .E-3(-), K(11) = (8.05 +/- 0.63) x 10(4) dm(3) mol(-1) for .E-3(-) and K(12) = (2.42 +/- 0.53) x 10(4) dm(3) mol(-1) for .(E-3(-))(2). (1)H ROESY NMR studies show that complexation of E-3(-) in the annuli of alphaCD, betaCD, 1 and 2 occurs. A variable-temperature (1)H NMR study yields k(298 K)= 6.7 +/- 0.5 and 5.7 +/- 0.5 s(-1), DeltaH = 61.7 +/- 2.7 and 88.1 +/- 4.2 kJ mol(-1) and DeltaS = -22.2 +/- 8.7 and 65 +/- 13 J K(-1) mol(-1) for the interconversion of the dominant includomers (complexes with different orientations of alphaCD) of alphaCD.E-3(-) and (alphaCD)(2).E-3(-), respectively. The existence of E-3(-) as the sole isomer was investigated through an ab initio study.  相似文献
