Unrefined vegetable oils from niche oilseeds are now sought after by consumers because of their unique nutritional properties and taste qualities. The color and flavor intensity of niche oils is a big problem, and their refining is not industrially feasible due to the small production scale. The study undertaken aimed analyze the effect of changing the amount of phytosterols (PSs) after the bleaching process of hemp oils of the ‘Finola’, ‘Earlina 8FC’ and ‘Secuieni Jubileu’ varieties. Cold-pressed (C) and hot-pressed (H) crude vegetable oils were bleached with selected bleaching earth (BE) at two concentrations. The post-process BE was extracted with methanol. The amount of PSs in the crude oils and the extract after washing the BE with methanol was analyzed by GC (gas chromatography). The study shows that the bleaching process did not significantly affect the depletion of PSs in the oils. Trace amounts of PSs remain on the BE and, due to methanol extraction, can be extracted from the oil. The conclusion of the performed research is that the bleaching of hemp oil does not cause depletion of the oil, and it significantly improves organoleptic properties. The oil bleaching process results in an oil loss of less than 2% by weight of the bleached oil, while the loss depends on the type of BE used. The study shows that the loss of phytosterols after the bleaching process averages 2.69 ± 0.69%, and depends on the type of BE used and the oil extracted from different varieties of hemp seeds.  相似文献

Chlorine dioxide is replacing chlorine as the active compound in pulp bleaching in order to reduce the amount of chlorine used in the process and hence also in the waste waters. In bleaching with chlorine dioxide part of the effective bleaching chemical is usually chlorite. The electrochemistry of chlorine dioxide and chlorite at solid electrodes was studied by cyclic voltammetry at different pH values. The observed voltammograms indicated that reduction of chlorine dioxide gives chlorite and oxidation of chlorite gives chlorine dioxide. Both voltammograms were well developed, indicating a reversible process. Both platinum and glassy carbon were used as the working electrode. The dependence of the limiting current of chlorine dioxide and chlorite on pH was studied at both electrodes. The method was tested in the chlorine dioxide bleaching stage D1 in a typical bleaching process. A good correlation was found between the concentrations of chlorine dioxide and chlorite measured by the in-line amperometric method and a standard titrimetric method.  相似文献

Two novel photochromic compounds, 1,3‐diphenyl‐4‐benzal‐5‐hydroxypyrazole 4‐phenylsemicarbazone ( 1 a ) and 1,3‐diphenyl‐4‐(4‐nitrobenzal)‐5‐hydroxypyrazole 4‐phenylsemicarbazone ( 2 a ), are synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, FTIR spectroscopy, and 1H NMR spectroscopy. Their properties, including photochromic behavior, fluorescence properties, and thermal bleaching kinetics, are investigated. The results show that the two compounds exhibit improved photochromic performance in coloration and thermal bleaching rates, excellent photostability, high fatigue resistance, and reversible fluorescence switching properties in the solid state in comparison to reported pyrazolone thiosemicarbazones. The thermal bleaching process obeys first‐order kinetics. Bleaching of powders at 130 °C is completed within 90 s for 1 b (the colored isomer of 1 a ) and 150 s for 2 b (the colored isomer of 2 a ). The activation energy for the thermal bleaching process is determined to be 69 and 95 kJ mol?1, with frequency factors of 9.5×107 and 9.4×1010 s?1 for 1 b and 2 b , respectively.  相似文献

The formation process of polymer films based on bacteriorhodopsin (BR) analogs requests a high amount of BR samples one time only. The common technique for apomembrane formation (preparation of bacterioopsin, BO) is not designed to be operated with high concentrations and high volumes of BR, so the use of this technique results in a low rate of BR bleaching. To accelerate the process of BR bleaching preliminary sonication was used. It was used just as preliminary sonication before bleaching of BR samples, so also sonication was used before reconstitution of resulted BO samples. These modifications of the common technique lead to an acceleration of BR bleaching and an increase in effectiveness of reconstitution of BO in comparison with the nonmodified technique. The quantitative results of sonication's effect on the bleaching acceleration and the effectiveness of reconstitution are different depending on the BR strains.  相似文献

We report measurements performed on the normal skin of rats in vivo, which provide information on the photobleaching kinetics and mechanisms of the photosensitizer meso-tetrahydroxyphenyl chlorin (mTHPC). Loss of mTHPC fluorescence was monitored using in vivo fluorescence spectroscopy during photodynamic therapy (PDT) performed using 650 nm laser irradiation. The bleaching was evaluated for irradiances of 5, 20 and 50 mW cm(-2). Two distinct phases of mTHPC photobleaching were observed. In the first phase there was no obvious irradiance dependence in the loss of fluorescence vs fluence. The second phase was initiated by an irradiance-dependent discontinuity in the slope of the bleaching curve, after which the photobleaching rates showed an irradiance dependence consistent with an oxygen-dependent reaction process. To investigate the unusual shape of the in vivo bleaching curves, we measured the PDT-induced changes in O2 concentrations in mTHPC-sensitized spheroids irradiated with 2, 5 and 20 mW cm(-2) of 650 nm light. The oxygen concentration data indicated no unusual features within the range of fluences where the discontinuities in fluorescence were observed during in vivo spectroscopy. The fluorescence from the in vivo bleaching experiments thus reports a phenomenon that is not reported by measurements of the photochemical oxygen consumption in the spheroids.  相似文献

The hemicellulose content of pulp is dependent on different factors, such as the wood species, the conditions with cooking and bleaching harmonised with the application. In addition to the hemicellulose content, a special interest for the valuation of pulp and the decision of arrangements of the production process is the hemicellulose distribution across the cell wall layers and the influence of several process stages on the hemicellulose distribution across the cell wall layers. The investigations were carried out on dissolving pulp and paper grade pulp. For paper grade pulp, the influence of separate bleaching steps and several bleaching sequences on the distribution of hemicellulose across the cell wall were investigated. Regarding the selected dissolving pulps which were produced according to an acid bisulphite process and a pre-hydrolysis sulphate process the influence of the cooking process on the hemicellulose distribution across the cell wall layers was of a special interest.  相似文献

In this study, the effects of ultrasound on ozone treatment processes for bleaching cotton fabrics were investigated and compared with the conventional hydrogen peroxide bleaching process (60 °C over 90 min). Two ultrasonic + ozone treatments of cotton fabric samples were carried out: (1) ozone in an ultrasonic homogenizer (UH) and (2) ozone in an ultrasonic bath. Ozone dosages, temperature and time variations were determined with both ozone-ultrasonic bleaching processes. Whiteness, yellowness, weight, tensile strength properties, FTIR (ATR) spectra and visual appearance, via scanning electron microscopy of treated cotton fabrics as well as chemical oxygen demand (COD) of bleaching effluents, were investigated. It was concluded that the ozone + UH process, conducted for 30 min at 30 °C, produced closely equivalent values of cotton fabric whiteness and yellowness to the classic peroxide bleaching process, with slightly less weight loss, dramatically less COD in the process effluent (29 mg/l for ozone-UH vs. 4,316 mg/l for classical peroxide treatment), and without causing any adverse and/or detrimental effects on loss of fabric strength or elongation of the cotton fabrics. The ozone-UH process also leads to time and energy savings with much less environmental impact. Consequently, the combination of ozonation plus UH carried out at 30 °C over 30 min can be used successfully for cotton bleaching instead of the classic hydrogen peroxide bleaching process.  相似文献

Total halogen-free bleaching of kraft pulps was conducted by an oxidative photochemical process at room temperature using alkaline hydrogen peroxide. Selection of an appropriate wavelength of light was crucial for effective bleaching and avoiding degradation of cellulose. The wavelength of the light has to be selected so that the light is absorbed only by the colored compounds in the pulps and not by the bleaching reagents or the pulp itself. When a long-wavelength black-light fluorescent lamp was used in combination with aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution at pH 11, the bleaching efficiency for hardwood and softwood kraft pulps reached the same level as that obtained by conventional two-stage elemental chlorine-free processes.  相似文献

将超分子自组装技术与Sol-gel过程相结合,制备了镶嵌Keggin结构钨硅酸的MAAM/VTEOS/TEOS纳米复合薄膜,并采用IR,XRD和TG-DSC等方法对薄膜进行了结构表征.在复合薄膜光照变蓝后,通过UV-Vis和ESR光谱对薄膜的光致变色性能及其机理进行了研究.结果表明,钨硅酸在复合网络中仍保持Keggin结构,与有机-无机复合基体中的-NH2通过氢键发生强烈的相互作用,经紫外光照后发生电荷转移,[SiW12O40]4-被还原为[SiW12O40]5-,同时产生氨基自由基.褪色过程则与氧气存在与否有关,实验结果表明,该薄膜具有良好的光致变色性能,对光有较快的响应恢复速度和良好的可逆重复性.  相似文献

The photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue is investigated in aqueous solution containing CoS/nanoAl-MCM-41 photocatalyst under visible light. The catalyst is characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-vis diffused reflectance spectra (UV-vis DRS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques. The effect of CoS, nanoAl-MCM-41 support and different wt% of CoS over the support on the photocatalytic degradation and influence of parameters such as CoS loading, catalyst amount, pH and initial concentration of methylene blue on degradation are evaluated. Hypsochromic effects (i.e. blue shifts of spectral bands) resulting from N-demethylation of the dimethylamino group in methylene blue occurs in presence of CoS/nanoAl-MCM-41 under ambient condition. Meanwhile, the bleaching of methylene blue MB, by sulfide ion, in an aqueous solution is studied in the presence nanoAl-MCM-41 catalyst. In the presence of sulfide ions, MB is bleached to its colorless leuco (LMB) and MBH(2)(+) forms. In an acidified solution (pH<2) the bleaching process generates LMB and by changing pH between 2.0 and 7.0 bleaching of MB dye to MBH(2)(+) form is observed. Using nanoAl-MCM-41 with encapsulated CoS nanoparticles only causes demethylation of MB in aqueous solution.  相似文献

In this study, the effect of ultrasound on the activity of the glucose oxidase (GOx) enzyme for bleaching of the cotton fabrics was investigated. Hydrogen peroxide generation with the GOx enzyme from glucose was carried out under ultrasonic homogenizer (UH) and ultrasonic bath support. The aim of using ultrasonic support was to increase the yield of the enzyme reactions. The enzymatically generated hydrogen peroxide was used for bleaching of cotton fabrics. The bleaching process was performed at 90 °C and pH 11 (with NaOH) for 60 min, followed by rinsing at 70 and 50 °C then cold washing. The whiteness degrees of the cotton samples that were bleached by the generated peroxide were compared to the whiteness degrees of the conventionally bleached cotton fabrics. Sufficient whiteness degrees in cotton fabrics could be obtained by enzymatically generated hydrogen peroxide by UH support. The initial whiteness degree of the cotton fabric was 59.9 Stensby degrees; the whiteness was increased to 75.6 Stensby degrees by the GOx enzyme under UH support where the conventional bleaching process yielded a whiteness value of 76.7 Stensby degrees. For efficient cotton bleaching by the GOx enzyme, UH support contributed to the concentration of enzymatically generated hydrogen peroxide by the GOx enzyme. Bleaching of cotton by the GOx enzyme was approved as a more environmentally friendly process compared to the conventional bleaching method in respect of the results of chemical oxygen demand tests.  相似文献

Trans-glutaminases is known as a cross-linking enzyme for proteins. Wool is a proteinous fiber conventionally is treated through several processes to obtain the desirable characteristics. Bleaching is also one of the most important processes usually carried out by using an oxidizing agent in a conventional method. The tensile strength of wool yarns was reduced as a consequence of oxidative bleaching. Here, with the help of microbial trans-glutaminases (m-TGases), a novel bleaching process was disclosed in a way to obtain a bleached wool yarn with no significant reduction in the tensile strength. The results confirmed that the bleached wool yarns with H2O2 could be modified by m-TGases post-treatment. The m-TGases treatment on the bleached wool yarns improved the tensile strength and whiteness along with the higher alkali resistance.  相似文献

The effects of thermomechanical pulp (TMP) bleaching with hydrogen peroxide under acidic and alkaline conditions were studied using different spectroscopic analytical methods. The results of hydroxyl radical determination in bleaching solutions, analyses of carbonyl and carboxyl groups contents in the pulp, and the cellulose fiber surface analysis by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) elucidate the chemistry of the hydrogen peroxide treatment. Diffuse reflectance laser flash photolysis (DRLFP) method showed the differences in the photochemical behavior that reflect the changes of the chromophoric system after the preliminary peroxide bleaching stage under acidic conditions. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy confirmed the non-delignifying character of the bleaching process. Suppression of carbonyl and formation of carboxyl groups in the case of the two-stage peroxide bleaching performed in the presence of catalysts and stabilizers was also confirmed. FT-Raman studies showed the removal of coniferaldehyde groups after treatment under acidic and alkaline conditions.  相似文献

Resin acids are tricyclic diterpenoids which are natural constituents of the wood from conifers. They are released from the wood during the manufacture of pulp and paper. These acids are very resistant to chemical degradation and survive the pulping and also the EOP bleaching process (EOP=alkaline extraction, oxygen and peroxide, the chemicals used in the bleaching process). Resin acids were extracted from alkaline medium using liquid–liquid extraction with t-butyl methyl ether and solid phase extraction with RP C18 adsorbent and a highly porous polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymer. After conversion of the acids to their pentafluorobenzyl esters, the extracts were analysed by GC/MS using a 25 m OV17 capillary column. Recovery values for single resin acids were determined by all three extraction methods. The solid phase extraction methods were applied to the analysis of the EOP effluent from a pulp mill bleaching process. 14 different resin acids and one resin acid methyl ester have been identified in the effluent. One of these was an oxo resin acid which might well be a product of the bleaching process.  相似文献

The photochromic behaviour of a series of 2,2-diphenyl(2H)chromenes, bearing different substituents (methyl, thienyl, B(OH)2 and nitro groups), has been investigated. The photochromism of these molecules is described in terms of absorption spectra, photocolouration and photobleaching quantum yields, kinetics of thermal bleaching and competition between photochemical and photophysical relaxation. The quantum yield of UV photocolouration is generally fairly high (0.7–1.0), but decreases for compounds with thienyl and nitro substituents. The ring-open coloured form thermally rearranges to the closed uncoloured form, whereas visible photobleaching is substantially negligible (≤10−3). The thermal bleaching process is markedly affected by the substituents and, in the case of the nitro-derivatives, is characterised by a drastic decrease of activation entropy and enthalpy.  相似文献

A closed system bleaching apparatus was designed to determine the kinetics and effects of various factors on alkaline hydrogen peroxide bleaching of textile cellulose fabrics. It was confirmed that perhydroxyl anion is the primary bleaching moiety in alkaline hydrogen peroxide systems. The use of the apparatus in the measurement of fabric color, waste oxygen, and the subsequent calculation of hydroxyl ion, and molecular hydrogen peroxide confirmed that pH and titration of 'free' hydrogen peroxide in alkaline bleaching systems are not good indicators of bleaching mechanism. The role of the cellulose itself in the chemical bleaching system was determined. The rate of bleaching on cotton fabric was shown to be a first order reaction in concentration of perhydroxyl anion at 60 and 90°C. An activation energy of 17kcal/mole was estimated. Decomposition of H2O2 into waste oxygen was found to be second order kinetics.  相似文献
