The reaction of CO oxidation over thin films of rhodium and platinum prepared by vacuum evaporation of the metals on an inert support has been investigated at low pressures (P < 2×10-5 mbar). Rhodium has been found to be more active than platinum in this reaction. The reasons of the higher activity of Rh are discussed.  相似文献

Recently,ZnO-based gas sensors have been successfully fabricated and widely studied for their excellent sensitivity and selectivity,especially in CO detection.However,detailed explorations of their mechanisms are rather limited.Herein,aiming at clarifying the sensing mechanism,we carried out density functional theory(DFT) calculations to track down the CO adsorption and oxidation on the ZnO(101 0) and(1120) surfaces.The calculated results show that the lattice O of ZnO(1010) is more reactive than that of ZnO(1120) for CO oxidation.From the calculated energetics and structures,the main reaction product on both surfaces can be determined to be CO_2 rather than carbonate.Moreover,the surface conductivity changes during the adsorption and reaction processes of CO were also studied.For both ZnO(1010) and(1120),the conductivity would increase upon CO adsorption and decrease following CO oxidation,in consistence with the reported experimental results.This work can help understand the origins of ZnO-based sensors' performances and the development of novel gas sensors with higher sensitivity and selectivity.  相似文献

在TiO2和ZnO表面CO光催化氧化研究中发现,365 nm紫外光照下TiO2表面无活性,而ZnO表面却有明显的CO光催化氧化活性.研究表明,主要是由于紫外光照下,ZnO光分解而TiO2没有光分解,从而在表面产生不同吸附形态的氧所致.而且,ZnO表面CO光催化氧化反应活性可在27 h内保持稳定,暗示气相光催化反应中,ZnO不会因为光腐蚀而使其催化活性降低.  相似文献

The oxidation of CO over thin films of a Pt-Rh alloy prepared by sequential vacuum evaporation of the metals on an inert support has been investigated at low pressures (P < 2'10-5 mbar). The results are compared with the data on the individual surfaces of Pt and Rh. It is found that the activity of the alloy is intermediate between the activities of the individual metals. The reaction of the CO oxidation over a Pt-Rh heterophase surface, which represents 10-20 nm platinum particles located on a rhodium film, which in turn is deposited on an inert support, has been investigated at low pressures (P < 2'10-5 mbar). The results are compared with the data for the clean surfaces of Pt and Rh. In the high-temperature range, the rate of CO2 formation on the heterophase surface is found to be higher than the sum of the rates on individual metals corrected by the surface area of the different metals. Autooscillations of CO oxidation rate are considered for a surface, which is a chain of uniform M1–M4 patches differing by their properties. For chain 5333 due to COads diffusion, induced oscillations propagate from oscillating patches M1 (scheme 5) to patches M2–M4 (Scheme 3), which themselves do not sustain the oscillation mode.  相似文献

采用沉积沉淀法制备了用于CO氧化的Au/ZnO催化剂, 并用程序升温还原(TPR), X射线衍射(XRD)和透射电镜(TEM)技术对催化剂进行了表征. 结果表明: 采用沉积沉淀法可制备出高度分散的Au/ZnO催化剂; 提高焙烧温度导致金颗粒聚集长大, 样品经533, 673, 773 K焙烧后金物种的颗粒尺寸分别为2.7, 3.5, 3.7 nm. 催化剂的TPR表征结果中发现部分还原态的金物种在室温就可被氧化, 催化剂预先用流动空气处理可提高其氧化还原性, 样品经多次氧化还原循环后, 其氧化循环性能没有明显下降. CO的氧化反应结果表明, 焙烧温度强烈影响催化剂对CO的氧化活性, 533 K焙烧后的催化剂活性最高. 即使在反应气中含水3.1%(体积比)的湿气条件下, 反应300 h后, CO的转化率仍然保持在95%.  相似文献

用共沉淀法制备了n(Au)/n(ZnO)=1.3/100的催化剂.考察了焙烧温度对Au/ZnO催化剂的化学组成及CO氧化性能的影响.结果表明,焙烧温度对催化剂的化学组成、活性和稳定性均有较大影响,其中240℃焙烧制得的Au/ZnO催化剂稳定性最好,在25℃和进料中含有水分的条件下,可连续反应600h使CO完全转化.XRD,FTIR,TG-DTA,TEM及UV-Vis结果表明,金粒子高度分散在氧化锌或碳酸锌上,平均直径2~5nm.催化剂的稳定性同锌物种有关,氧化锌较碳酸锌表现出较好的稳定性,且氧化锌粒子越小,比表面积越大,催化剂的稳定性越高.  相似文献

应用Tian-Calvet热流量热仪与脉冲微反系统相结合的脉冲量热装置研究了Ir-in-CeO2(Ir主要包裹在CeO2里)催化剂上CO氧化过程表面碳酸盐的形成及其转化.结果表明,碳酸盐的吸附强度与CeO2表面价态直接相关.在反应中首先形成约0.07个单层覆盖度的不可逆吸附碳酸盐,随后形成约0.02个单层覆盖度的可逆吸附碳酸盐并随着Ce3+转变为Ce4+而分解.  相似文献

沉淀剂对AU/ZnO催化剂CO氧化性能及催化剂结构的影响   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
在25 C和进料中含水条件下,考察了由Na2CO3,(NH4)2CO3,NaOH和NH4OH等4种沉淀剂制备的Au/ZnO催化剂上CO氧化活性和稳定性.结果表明,沉淀剂影响Au/ZnO催化剂的前体组成、金粒子和ZnO粒子大小、比表面积及CO氧化性能.由NH4OH制备的Au/ZnO催化剂活性和稳定性较差,CO转化率只有15%;由其它3种沉淀剂制备的Au/ZnO催化剂的CO氧化活性和稳定性明显改善,可至少连续反应1 100 h,且保持CO完全氧化,其中Na2CO3是最佳沉淀剂.在反应过程中反应气氛可引起金粒子的聚集及在催化剂表面生成新的碱式碳酸锌物相.催化剂的稳定性与金粒子长大速度和碳酸根累积量有关.  相似文献

CO and formaldehyde (HCHO) oxidation reactions were investigated over mesoporous Ag/Co3O4 catalysts prepared by one-pot (OP) and impregnation (IM) methods. It was found that the one-pot method was superior to the impregnation method for synthesizing Ag/Co3O4 catalysts with high activity for both reactions. It was also found that the catalytic behavior of mesoporous Co3O4 and Ag/Co3O4 catalysts for the both reactions was different. And the addition of silver on mesoporous Co3O4 did not always enhance the catalytic activity of final catalyst for CO oxidation at room temperature (20 °C), but could significantly improve the catalytic activity of final catalyst for HCHO oxidation at low temperature (90 °C). The high surface area, uniform pore structure and the pretty good dispersion degree of the silver particle should be responsible for the excellent low-temperature CO oxidation activity. However, for HCHO oxidation, the addition of silver played an important role in the activity enhancement. And the silver particle size and the reducibility of Co3O4 should be indispensable for the high activity of HCHO oxidation at low temperature.  相似文献

负载型纳米催化剂表面结构与其催化性能之间关系的研究一直受到广泛关注.由于其结构复杂使得人们在研究催化剂构效关系时遇到了很多困难.近年来,大量研究发现反转催化剂在众多反应中表现出优越的催化性能.反转催化剂是将过渡金属氧化物负载于其它金属表面.和传统金属/氧化物催化剂相比,反转催化剂更能突出氧化物在催化反应中的重要作用.众多研究表明,在氧化物-金属界面处存在特殊的作用,这种作用可以改变氧化物的电子特性和化学性质,进而产生较高的催化性能.傅强等人创建了金属氧化物负载于Pt表面的反转催化体系,其表现出了高的低温CO氧化反应性能.在氧化物和Pt之间的界面限域效应可以稳定氧化物中配位不饱和的金属阳离子.这种配位不饱和的氧化物提供了活化O2的活性位.目前,反转催化剂的研究主要集中在单晶模型体系中,在负载型催化剂中的研究还较少.我们以炭黑(CB)为载体,将还原后的Pt-Fe和Pt-Co催化剂经过酸洗制备了一种表面富Pt核为合金的结构.考察了酸洗后的Pt-Fe和Pt-Co催化剂经过不同温度氧化后的结构变化,并讨论了其结构与CO完全氧化反应(COOX)和CO选择氧化反应(CO-PROX)性能的关系.X射线粉末衍射(XRD),电感耦合等离子体发射光谱(ICP),透射电镜(TEM)和X射线光电子能谱(XPS)表征结果表明,还原后的Pt基催化剂经过酸洗可以选择性去除纳米粒子表面的3d过渡金属,形成表面富Pt体相为合金的结构.将酸洗后的Pt-Fe和Pt-Co催化剂在不同温度下空气中氧化,发现近表层的Fe(Co)会扩散到粒子表面上,形成过度氧化的Fe2O3(Co3O4)表面结构.氧化后的催化剂在COOX和CO-PROX反应中表现出截然不同的催化性能.酸洗后的Pt-Fe(Pt-Co)催化剂经过不同温度氧化后在COOX反应中活性都较差,室温下的CO转化率只有不到30%,CO完全转化的温度超过100oC,相当于纯Pt催化剂的活性.这说明Pt表面过度氧化的Fe2O3(Co3O4)对CO氧化反应的促进作用不明显.而氧化后的催化剂在CO-PROX反应中表现出较高的活性,250oC(或350oC)氧化后的酸洗Pt-Fe催化剂室温下的CO转化率接近100%,250oC(或350oC)氧化后的酸洗Pt-Co催化剂室温下的CO转化率也达到了70%.结合表征和反应结果,我们认为氧化处理形成的表面过度氧化的金属氧化物(Fe2O3,Co3O4)在COOX的催化性能较差.通入CO-PROX反应气后,气氛中大量H2的存在和Pt表面的氢溢流效应可以使得表面Fe2O3,Co3O4在室温下被还原成配位不饱和的FeO,CoO.这种配位不饱和的氧化物在表面Pt的限域作用和大量H2气氛下比较稳定,并且具有较强的活化解离O2的能力,进而提高了CO-PROX反应的活性.为了进一步证实催化剂表面氧化物与其催化性能的关系,我们在室温下进行了两种反应气的循环实验测试.测试结果表明,对于氧化后的酸洗Pt-Fe催化剂,COOX反应中的表面Fe2O3和CO-PROX反应中的表面FeO可以通过变换反应气氛实现两种氧化物的相互转变,并表现出完全不同的催化性能.对于氧化后的酸洗Pt-Co催化剂,CO-PROX反应中形成的CoO表面结构在COOX反应中也比较稳定,在两种反应气中表现出相似的催化性能.  相似文献

利用共沉淀法制备了Au/MeO~x催化剂(Me=Al,Co,Cr,Cu,Fe,Mn,Ni,Zn)。在常温常湿条件下,考察了不同氧化物负载的金基催化剂的CO氧化性能。结果表明,氧化物种类对催化剂的活性和稳定性均有较大的影响。Cu,Mn,Cr等氧化物负载的金基催化剂的活性较差,而Zn,Fe,Co,Ni,Al等金属氧化物负载的金基催化剂可将CO完全氧化,又具有一定的稳定性,在相同反应条件下,CO完全转化时的稳定性顺序为Au/ZnO>Au/α-Fe~2O~3>Au/Co~3O~4>Au/γ-Al~2O~3≈Au/NiO。还发现水对Au/MnO~x催化剂的活性和稳定性有负作用,而对180℃焙烧制备的Au/ZnO-180催化剂的活性和稳定性均有明显的湿度增强作用。  相似文献

Simultaneous NO reduction and CO oxidation in the presence of O2, H2O and SO2 over Cu/Mg/Al/O (Cu-cat), Ce/Mg/Al/O (Ce-cat) and Cu/Ce/Mg/Al/O (CuCe-cat) were studied. At low temperatures (<340 °C), the presence of O2 or H2O enhanced the activity of CuCe-cat for NO and CO conversions, but significantly suppressed the activity of Cu-cat and Ce-cat. At high temperature (720 °C), the presence of O2 or H2O had no adverse effect on the NO and CO conversions over these catalysts. The addition of SO2 to NO+CO+O2+H2O system had no effect on the reaction of CO+O2 over Cu-cat, but deactivated this catalyst for NO+CO and CO+H2O reactions; over Ce-cat, all of these reactions of NO+CO,CO+O2 and CO+H2O were suppressed significantly; over CuCe-cat, NO+CO and CO+O2 reactions were not affected while the reaction of CO+H2O was slightly inhibited.  相似文献

The reaction of zinc oxide with methane in the absence and presence of CO2 were theoretically and experimentally investigated using HSC Chemistry 5.1 software and a fixed bed reactor, respectively. In the absence of CO2 at 1193 K, the reduction of ZnO was accompanied with methane cracking, and metallic zinc, CO, and H2 were the main reaction products. This system could be utilized for the co-production of metallic zinc and synthesis gas, in which ZnO was a donor of oxygen. In the presence of CO2, ZnO plays as a catalyst in the CO2 reforming of methane and produces syngas with the average H2/CO ratio of 0.88 at 1193 K, which was close to the total reaction theoretic value of 1. It was also found that higher temperature favored high CH4 and CO2 conversions. XRD technique was used to characterize the ZnO species. The result showed that there were no differences in the peak profiles of the XRD patterns of the ZnO powder obtained before and after passing the CH4/CO2 mixed gases for 6 h at 1193 K. It is suggested that ZnO functions as a catalyst according to the redox cycle and metallic zinc plays the role of intermediate product in this process.  相似文献

实验发现纳米金催化的CO氧化有良好的湿度增强效应,但有关机制仍不清楚.我们应用密度泛函理论研究了湿度增强效应的微观机制,以Au4团簇为例,研究了金催化CO氧化的微观机理,考察了H2O在反应中的角色和作用.计算结果表明,H2O与Au4团簇一样,在反应中扮演催化剂的角色,参与反应的进行、改变反应历程、降低反应能垒.催化循环包含4个基元步骤:O2+H2O→OOH+OH,CO+OOH→CO2+OH,CO+OH→COOH,和COOH+OH→CO2+H2O,其中自由基OOH和OH的形成是催化循环的速控步骤,其能垒为100.31kJ/mol,明显低于非水参与反应的能垒(161.41kJ/mol).目前的结果合理地解释了实验观测的CO催化氧化的湿度增强效应,给出了其微观反应机制.  相似文献
