随着高功率微波源向高功率、高频率和长脉冲方向不断发展,同轴相对论速调管放大器(RKA)成为近年来研究热点之一,然而其发展一直受限于自激振荡等问题存在,为此,设计一种高Q值单间隙同轴谐振腔,以抑制同轴RKA中TEM模式泄露引起的自激振荡。通过对单间隙同轴谐振腔TM01模式与TEM模式转化进行理论分析与仿真模拟,发现同轴谐振腔上下槽深差值与轴向错位值对其Q值变化影响很大,当上下槽深差值与轴向错位值分别为0.3 mm和0 mm时,同轴谐振腔的Q值为极大值(18 764),意味着此时谐振腔中两种模式转化最小,多组谐振腔级联后自激振荡风险大大降低。将三组级联的高Q值单间隙同轴谐振腔应用于紧凑型同轴RKA,粒子模拟和实验结果表明,器件的输出微波功率稳定,频谱纯净,无自激振荡等问题存在。 相似文献

高性能滤波器、低相位噪声振荡器以及加速器研究的需要促进人们对更高Q值微波谐振腔的探索。X波段铜微波谐振腔在室温下的Q值只能约10^4;低温超导铌腔在X波段和4.2K温度时的Q值为106-107,在X波段和1.25K温度时Q值约10^11,用高Q值(10^9)低温超导微波谐振腔在X波段可以实现了10^-17频率稳定度。但由于需要工作在液氦温区而限制了它们的应用:因为液氦非常昂贵,并且液氦的保存系统机构复杂;在1.25K温度下的超流特性和极高的渗透性,对低温腔的真空密封提出了非常严格的要求。 相似文献

We have reported a modified V-shaped external cavity, which is constructed around a commercial diode laser operating at a center wavelength of λ=785 nm by adding a new coated glass plate with about 50% reflectivity to the cavity. This allows simultaneous dual-wavelengths operation in the vicinity of Δνmin=0.18 THz to Δνmax=0.22 THz, which can be used as laser source for terahertz generation either for semiconductor devices or nonlinear schemes. 相似文献

Chaotic dynamics of a semiconductor laser subject to incoherent optical feedback (IOF) are experimentally investigated, and the external cavity time are retrieved and measured from intensity time series of the laser output by using self-correlation function and the mutual information. Through moderating feedback strength and injection current of the laser, the external cavity time signature of the laser chaotic output is effectively attenuated, and then the security of such chaos encryption system can be assured to a certain degree. 相似文献

The external cavity feedback of a broad-area laser diode is investigated. In Fourier optic methods, the inserted prism in an external cavity can be interpreted as a spatial filter in the Fourier plane of the laser diode. The transverse mode can be selected by changing the position of the filter. As the result of a self-consistency theoretical analysis, the output beam of the external cavity has a single-lobed far-field profile. It agrees well with the experiment result. The beam times-diffraction-limit-factor M2 is measured to be 1.16. 相似文献

External coupling model has been used to describe the output field of a laser diode array (LDA) phase-locked with an external cavity. The analytical solution for the coupling matrix equation of the phase-locked system has been obtained. The dependencies of the threshold gain, gj of the system mode on the residue reflection of the front facet, rf and round trip external cavity lengths, L have been discussed. The effect of external reflectivity on the dynamic behaviors of quantum cascade laser coupled to external cavity is theoretically investigated. Our model is based on three-level rate equations including the dependence of the loss on external cavity parameters. We find in particular that the effective reflectivity, photon lifetime and threshold current are strongly influenced by the external cavity length and external reflectivity. The optimum external cavity length (Lext) is about 4?cm. We also show that the external cavity reflectivity influences significantly the dynamics of the electron number in the upper and lower laser levels, population inversion, and photon numbers in the Fabry Perot and in the external cavities. In addition, the external cavity reflectivity dependences of turn-on delay time (tth) is also studied and discussed. 相似文献
