The distribution of the 1g 9/2 proton state of the41Sc has been obtained within the framework of the coreparticle coupling model scheme. The theoretical distribution pattern of this high-spin proton orbital has been compared with the recent high resolution experimental works performed on the40Ca target nucleus. The results obtained in the work has also been compared with the other existing theoretical results.  相似文献

The quadrupole moment for the πg 9/2⊗νh 11/2 band in the 130>Pr nucleus has been measured using the Doppler-shift attenuation method. A centroid shift analysis was carried out and a value of Q0=6.1±0.4 eb, corresponding to an axial prolate deformation of β2=0.35(3), has been determined. This is the first direct experimental confirmation of the deformation-driving character of the πg 9/2 orbital in an odd-odd nucleus in the A≃135 superdeformed region. Two rotational bands, with energy spacings characteristic of superdeformed shapes, have been observed following bombardment of150Nd with48Ca. The more intensively populated band consists of 18 transitions and is assigned to194Hg. The depopulation of this band occurs around spin 10. The second band, consisting of at least 16 transitions, was populated less strongly and is tentatively assigned to194Hg also. The lowest level in this band is assigned spin 8. The energy differences between transitions for both bands decrease from ~40 keV at low rotational frequencies to ~30 keV at the highest observed frequencies. The moments of inertia of the bands are similar to those of the two previously observed superdeformed bands in191,192Hg. The similarities and differences of the four known bands in the mercury region are discussed.  相似文献

Lifetimes of states in the two strongest superdeformed (SD) bands in 193Tl were measured using the Doppler-shift attenuation method. The reaction 176Yb(23Na,6n)193Tl at a beam energy of 129 MeV was used and γ-rays were detected by the Gammasphere array. Quadrupole moments of 18.3(10) eb and 17.4(10) eb were extracted for SD bands 1 and 2, respectively, using the fractional Doppler-shifts of the SD transitions. The previously reported linking transitions of these SD bands to normal deformed near yrast levels could not be confirmed. No other candidates for linking transitions could be established. By analysis of fission product γ-rays measured at Eurogam II using a 248Cm source, the (vf7/2)2 multiplet in the N = 84 nucleus 134Sn has been identified up to a 6+ isomeric state at 1246 keV. The B(E2; 6+→4+) is determined to be 36±7 e2fm4 corresponding to a vf7/2 E2 effective charge of 1.02±0.10.10 e.  相似文献

Medium resolution infrared grating spectra of gaseous ketene, H2CCO were recorded between 1000 and 400 cm?1, both at instrument temperature (40°C) and with cooling (?40°C). Interferometric Fourier spectra were also measured at ?70°C with resolution 0.22 cm?1 between 450 and 330 cm?1. The K structure of the fundamentals ν5, ν6, ν8, and ν9 was assigned. These fundamentals are coupled by a-axis Coriolis interactions. These couplings were analysed on the symmetric top basis for setting up the perturbation matrix and by utilizing the K-dependent Coriolis shifts of levels. A preliminary analysis of the Coriolis intensity anomalies was also undertaken.Band center values from combination differences are ν50 = 587.30 (27) and ν60 = 528.36 (39) cm?1. Synthetic spectra indicate the band origins of ν8 and ν9 to be close to 977.8 and 439.0 cm?1, respectively. Estimates of Coriolis coupling constants obtained from synthetic spectra are ζ58a = + 0.33 (5), ζ68a = + 0.714 (20), ζ59a = ? 0.774 (20), and ζ69a = ? 0.30 (2). Approximate ratios of unperturbed vibrational transition moments obtained from spectral simulations are M80:±iM50:±iM60:M90 ≈ +2:?9:+10:+0.5.  相似文献

The origin of the signature splitting of theK=1/2+ bands in odd Z rare-earth nuclei Ho, Tm and Lu, unexplained in previous models, is studied by angular momentum projection from deformed Hartree-Fock configurations. Energy spectra,E2 matrix elements and the rotation-aligned angular momenta of nucleons in i1 3/2, h1 1/2 and g7/2 orbits are calculated. Staggering in the rotation-alignment of protons in the g7/2 orbit causes signature dependent effects in the 1/2+ bands.  相似文献

Two parameter expressions for rotational spectra viz. variable moment of inertia (VMI), ab formula and three parameter Harris ω2 expansion are used to assign the band head spins (I0) of four rotational superdeformed bands in 86Zr. The least-squares fitting method is employed to obtain the band head spins of these four bands in the A~80 mass region. Model parameters are extracted by fitting of intraband γ-ray energies, so as to obtain a minimum root-mean-square (rms) deviation between the calculated and the observed transition energies. The calculated transition energies are found to depend sensitively on the assigned spins. Whenever an accurate band head spin is assigned, the calculated transition energies are in agreement with the experimental transition energies. The dynamic moment of inertia is also extracted and its variation with rotational frequency is investigated. Since a better agreement of band head spin with experimental results is found using the VMI model, it is a more powerful tool than the ab formula and Harris ω2 expansion.  相似文献

Two excited superdeformed bands have been found in196Pb using the GASP-ray spectrometer array. They are signature-partner bands with a small signature splitting developing at higher frequencies, similar to bands 2 and 3 in the isotone194Hg. The bands are probably built on an excited neutron configuration. They show an unusual incremental alignment of 1/2 with respect to the194Pb core.Communicated by: B. Herskind  相似文献

The nucleus 193Pb was populated via the 168Er(30Si, 5n) reaction at a beam energy of 159 MeV and studied with the EUROGAM II spectrometer. Five new dipole ΔI = 1 cascades have been found. The 193Pb dipole bands are discussed in terms of microscopic HF+BCS calculations. The proposed configurations are based on a high-K two-quasiproton excitation coupled to rotation aligned quasineutrons. Parallel to the dipole bands the six superdeformed bands have been discussed in the framework of microscopic mean-field calculations. The bands are interpreted as three pairs of signature partners based on quasineutron excitations. Cross-talk transitions linking two signature partner superdeformed bands have been observed and, for the first time in lead isotopes, a mean B(M1)/B(E2) ratio value of 0.15±0.04 μ N 2 /e2b2 has been extracted.  相似文献

An asymptotically exact quantum mechanical calculation of the matrix elements for tunneling through an asymmetric barrier is combined with the two-state statistical model for decay out of superdeformed bands to determine the energy barrier (as a function of spin) separating the superdeformed and normal-deformed wells for several nuclei in the 190 and 150 mass regions. The spin-dependence of the barrier leading to sudden decay out is shown to be consistent with the decrease of a centrifugal barrier with decreasing angular momentum. Values of the barrier frequency in the two mass regions are predicted.  相似文献

It is shown that the staggering of the energy levels of the superdeformed rotational bands can be explained from first principles, using the standard microscopic Hamiltonian with the pairing, quadrupole, and hexadecapole residual interactions, as resulting from rotation-induced nonadiabatic distortion of the mean field in the nucleus.
