EXTREME POINTS AND STRICT CONVEXITY OF VECTOR VALUED ORLICZ SPACES

The theory of vector valued Orlicz spaces generated by parametric N-functions is investigated in[1,2,3,4,].In this paper,a sufficient and neces-sary.coadition of extreme points of the unit ball of those spaces is given,and a criterion of the strict convexity of the spaces is obtained.

ON THE BANACH-DIEUDONNÉ THEOREM FOR SPACES OF HOLOMORPHIC FUNCTIONS

Abstract

In this paper we show that a Banach-Dieudonné type theorem for the space of entire functions of bounded type on a Banach space only holds in the finite dimensional case. We also study if this result holds in the setting of Fréchet spaces.

Existence of globally bounded classical solution for nonisentropic gas dynamics system has long been studied, especially in the case of polytropic gas. In [4], Liu claimed that sufficient condition has been established. However, the authors find that the argument he used is not true in general. In this article, the authors give a counter example of his argument. Hence, his claim is not valid. The authors believe that it is difficult to impose general conditions on the initial data to obtain globally bounded classical solution.

In this article, first, we establish the Fekete and Szeg inequality for an interesting subclass of biholomorphic functions in the open unit disk U. Second, we generalize this result to the bounded starlike circular domain in C~n. The proofs of these results use some restrictive assumptions, which in the case of one complex variable are automatically satisfied.
