The two short-lived isomeric states in112In have been reinvestigated by means of the112Cd(d, 2n) and109Ag (α, n) reactions. Measurements of delayed X- andγ-ray, lifetime and TDPAD spectra have been performed. A 6.32(3) keVγ-ray has been identified in the isomeric decay and anM1 multipolarity has been assigned to it on the basis of the measured internal conversion coefficients:α L =196(39) andα tot=231(35). TheE1+M2(δ =+0.24(4)) andE2 multipolarities have been determined for the 263 and 188 keV transitions deexciting the 8?(T 1/2=2.82(2) μs) and 7+ (T 1/2=0.93(2) μs) isomeric states, respectively. A revised isomeric decay scheme is presented.  相似文献

TheΒ- andγ-radiations of98Zr and98m, g Nb have been investigated employing scintillation and semiconductor spectrometers and coincidence techniques. Sources of98Nb were produced by the98Mo(n, p)98Nb reaction, sources of98Zr by fission of235U with thermal neutrons applying chemical separations. For98Zr, a half-life of 30.7±0.4 sec and aQ β-value of 2.3±0.2 MeV were obtained, for the98Nb isomers, half-lives of 2.86±0.06 sec and 51.3±0.4 min, andQ β-values of 4.8±0.2 MeV and 4.5±0.2 MeV, respectively. Noγ-rays were observed in the decay of98Zr. The decay of 2.9 sec98Nb was found to involve 11γ-ray transitions. In the decay of 51 min98Nb, 54γ-transitions were detected. Spin and parity of 1+ and 4? were deduced for the isomeric states of98Nb.  相似文献

Angular distributions have been measured for six 36Ar(p,γ)37K resonances in the Ep = 0.9−3.0 MeV energy region. These experiments yield spin- and parity assignments to seven excited states of 37K, γ-ray branching ratios for each state, together with the multipolarity mixing ratios of most transitions. Lifetimes have been deduced from the same data with the DSA method.Excitation energies have been determined with a precision up to 20 eV. A resonance- and excitation-energy measurement at the Ep = 918keV resonance yields a 36Ar(p, γ)37K Q-value of Q = 1857.57 ± 0.09 keV.The 36Ar(p, p1γ) yield curve, measured in the Ep = 2.6–3.3 MeV region, yields additional information on resonance and excitation energies of 37K states with a typical precision of 0.6 keV.The new data on 37K levels allow a detailed comparison of the level schemes of the mirror nuclei 37Ar and 37K. The present experimental data agree quite well with the results of previous shell-model calculations.  相似文献

The conversion electron andγ-ray spectra of the96Zr(p, n γ)96Nb reaction were measured with Ge(Li) and superconducting magnet transporter Si(Li) spectrometers respectively, at 4MeV bombarding proton energy. The multipolarities of some transitions were determined and conclusions were drawn on the spins and parities of the excited states of96Nb.  相似文献

Two collective bands of75Kr have been extended up to spin 21/2 using the compound reactions64Zn(14N,p2n)75Kr and50Cr(28Si, 2pn)75Kr. Spins and parities were assigned from neutron-gatedγ-ray angular distributions and excitation functions using the OSIRIS anti-Compton spectrometer. The bands are interpreted to be built on the well-deformed Nilsson states: [442] 5/2 and [301] 3/2. Energies for both bands and the order of magnitude of the mixing ratios in thef 5/2 band can be reproduced within the single-particle-plus-rotor model, while the experimentalQ(I→I?1)/Q(I→I?2) ratios, deduced from mixing ratios and branching ratios, exhibit large deviations by a factor 4 to 6 from theoretical values (which are around one). An explanation of this effect may be found by treating the two rotational bands each as a result of mixing between rotational bands of oblate and prolate states; thus explaining the large difference between B(E2,I→I?1) andB(E2, I →I?2) in the bands of75Kr.  相似文献

Excited states of73Se have been investigated up to spin, 21/2 using techniques of in-beamγ-ray spectroscopy in connection with the70Ge(α, n) reaction. Mean lifetimes of 12 levels have been determined applying Doppler-shift andγ-RF-methods. Five different bands have been identified that reflect a variety of different excitation modes. The decoupled 9/2+ band is likely to correspond to an oblate deformation while the 5/2+ band is interpreted as a strongly coupled prolate band built on the Nilsson configuration [422] 5/2+. The 3/2? band is a strongly coupled band built on the [301] 3/2} configuration.Nuclear reactions:70Ge(α,n),E=14, 16, 18, 19, 20MeV; measuredE γ,I γ,σ(E γ,θ),γγ-coin, linear polarization, DSA,γ(t).75Se deduced levels,I, π, τ, δ(E2/M1), B(σλ). Theβ ? decay of the longer-lived isomer in100Nb has been studied at the fission-product separator JOSEF. Measurements ofγ-ray singles spectra, ofγ-γ coincidences and ofγ-γ angular correlations have been performed. A value oft 1/2=2.99(11)s has been determined for the isomer which probably hasI π=4+ or 5+. A scheme of the levels of100Mo which are populated in the decay of this isomer has been established. Information on the spins of several states of100Mo has been obtained. Thus,I=0 levels have been identified at 1,505, 2,038 and 2,087 keV. The mixing ratios have been determined for the 22 +→21 + and 23 +→21 + transitions. The results provide evidence for a vibrational structure of100Mo with separate bands based on the ground state and on the first excited 0+ level.  相似文献

α-particle and proton spectra in coincidence with the 4.44 MeVγ-ray from the12C first excited state have been taken atE τ MeV. Several states in13N and16O are seen to contribute to the decay sequenceα?p andp?α respectively. Estimates are given for the branching of these two decay modes and for a possible simultaneous break-up.  相似文献

The level structure of194Au has been studied by observing prompt and delayedγ-rays following194Pt(p,n) and195Pt(p,2n) reactions. The conversion electron andγ-ray spectra from the decay of the 0.42s (10?) and 0.60s (5+) isomers at 476 keV and 107.4 keV, respectively, have been measured using the He-jet method. The half-lives of the 6+ (278.2 keV, 1.1±0.4 ns), 7+ (224.6 keV, 2.6±0.2 ns) and 8+ (406.8 keV, 2.9±0.4 ns) members of theπd 3/2-vi 13/2 multiplet have been obtained from the time distributions between cyclotron beam pulses andγ-rays depopulating these levels. A calculation made assuming a pure two-particle configuration for the multiplet predicts very well theB(E2) values for the transitions between the levels of this multiplet but the calculatedB(M1) values are not in agreement with experimental results.  相似文献

The reactions89Y(α,4),89Y(α,p4) and89Y(α,5nγ) were used to populate high-spin states in, respectively,89Nb,88Zr and the previously unstudied nucleus88Nb. These states were deduced via in-beam gamma-ray spectroscopy. The results of a shell-model study ofN=4888Zr,90Mo,87Y,89Nb andN=4787Zr,88Nb nuclei are compared to experiment.  相似文献

γ-ray and γγ-coincidence spectra of the 110Cd(p, nγ)110In reaction were measured with Ge(Li), Ge(LEPS), and Ge(HP) spectrometers at 6 MeV bombarding proton energy. Energies (Eγ) and relative intensities (Iγ) of 95 110In transitions (including 70 new ones) have been determined. The electron spectrum of the reaction was measured with a combined magnetic plus Si(Li) spectrometer at Ep = 6 MeV. Internal conversion coefficients of 41 transitions in 110In have been determined for the first time. The angular distribution of γ-rays was measured at 5.2, 5.6, and 6 MeV bombarding proton energies. A new, more complete level scheme of 110In has been deduced. On the basis of the internal conversion coefficients of transitions, Hauser-Feshbach analysis of (p, n) reaction cross sections, γ-ray angular distribution (and other) results unambiguous spin and parity assignments were made to 11 excited 110In levels. The energies of several 110In proton-neutron multiplets were calculated on the basis of the parabolic rule derived from the cluster-vibration model. The comparison of experimental and theoretical results provided identification of about 20 p-n multiplet states in 110In.  相似文献

The γ-ray spectra of the 96Zi(p, nγ)96Nb reaction have been measured with Ge(Li) detectors at different bombarding proton energies between 1.3 and 5.1 MeV. γγ coincidences were observed at Ep = 4.7 and 5.0 MeV. On the basis of experimental results a level scheme of 96Nb was deduced, and γ-threshold energies and γ-branching ratios were determined. Computed Hauser-Feshbach (p, n′) cross sections have been compared with experimental data obtained from the γ-ray measurements, and level spins and parities have been determined. The energies of 96Nb levels were calculated on the basis of the parabolic rule, derived from the cluster-vibration model. The Racah multipole decomposition method was used also for the theoretical interpretation of several 96Nb multiplet states.  相似文献

Vibrational states built on the K π = 9? isomer and on the ground state (K π = 1+) in 180Ta are calculated within the quasiparticle-phonon nuclear model using the 178Hf nucleus as a core. A procedure for calculating the rates of K-allowed γ-ray transitions from vibrational states built on the isomer to those built on the ground state is presented. The probabilities of two-step processes consisting of a dipole excitation of the isomer and successive E1 and E2 transitions from them to vibrational states built on the ground state of the 180Ta nucleus are calculated. Two-step transitions from the isomer to vibrational states below 2.7 MeV and to the vibrational states built on the ground state appear to be very weak. There are many E1 transitions from the vibrational states built on the isomer to the vibrational states built on the ground state. They are weak and cannot be responsible for the strong deexcitation of 180m Ta in the relevant (γ, γ′) reaction. A decisive role is played by collective E2 transitions from dipole excitations in several excitation energy intervals ranging between 2.7 and 4.0 MeV. These highly intense K-allowed two-step γ-ray transitions can be responsible for the strong deexcitation of the 180m Ta state in the (γ, γ′) reactions.  相似文献

The γ-ray spectrum of the 114Cd(p, nγ)114In reaction was measured with Ge(Li) and Ge(HP) spectrometers at 4.8, 5.3, and 7.0 MeV bombarding proton energies. The energies (Eγ) and relative intensities (Iγ) of more than 170 γ-ray transitions in 114In have been determined. The electron spectrum of the reaction was measured with a combined magnetic plus Si(Li) spectrometer. Internal conversion coefficients of 38 transitions in 114In were determined for the first time. The level scheme of 114In, γ-ray branching ratios, multipolarity of transitions, level parity and spin values have been deduced. The energies of several 114In proton-neutron multiplets were calculated on the basis of the parabolic rule derived from the cluster-vibration model. The comparison of experimental and theoretical results provided classification of about 18 multiplet states in 114In. The experimental level scheme has also been compared with former theoretical calculations.  相似文献

Spins and parities have been assigned on the basis of angular distribution andγ-ray linear polarization measurements. States with spins up to 39/2+ and excitation energies around 6 MeV have been identified. Calculations using the empirical shell model have been performed in order to assign configurations.  相似文献

The level scheme of the doubly odd nucleus146Pm was investigated by means of in-beam spectroscopy. The146Nd(p, n) reaction in the 3.5–8 MeV proton energy interval on enriched targets has been used to populate the exited states of146Pm. High resolutionγ-ray spectra using Ge(Li) and hyperpure Ge detectors and conversion electrons with a mini-orange spectrometer were measured. Withγ-exitation functions and-coincidences using-discriminated NE231 neutron detectors transitions in146Pm were identified,γγ-coincidences gave information aboutγ-cascades. With these data a level scheme of 38 levels below 1.1 MeV exitation energy has been deduced including 73 transitions. For 12 transitions experimental conversion coefficients have been evaluated, which agree with the expected values forM1/E2-transitions.  相似文献

High spin states in108Sn have been investigated using the92Mo(19F,p2)108Sn reaction. In-beam measurements ofγ-γ-coincidences,γ-ray excitation functions andγ-ray angular distributions were performed with Ge(Li)-detectors, one of which had a Nal Compton suppression shield. A level scheme for108Sn has been constructed up to anI π=(14?) state.  相似文献
