We present general guidelines for the chirp-compensation optical parametric chirped pulse amplification scheme, where maximization of both conversion efficiency and signal-to-noise ratio and simultaneous overcoming of the gain-narrowing effect are required. Using numerical simulation, we find that the crystal length, the ratio of signal and pump durations, and the pump chirp are the critical parameters for the chirp-compensation scheme. We compare the chirp-compensation scheme with the usual collinear or noncollinear schemes, and find that the chirp-compensation scheme can obtain both higher conversion efficiency and signal-to-noise ratio, and overcome the gain-narrowing effect simultaneously. We also compare the linear-chirp-compensation scheme with the nonlinear-chirp-compensation scheme and find that the linear-chirp-compensation scheme is a good approximation for the nonlinear-chirp-compensation scheme when the signal bandwidth is not very broad.  相似文献

对一般四边形网格设计一种优化的节点控制体, 并构造了一种扩散方程的保极值二阶收敛的局部线性节点计算格式(优化控制体节点格式, VOC格式)。在网格不出现异常节点的情况下, 证明VOC格式是保极值、线性精确和二阶收敛的。而且在均匀的矩形网格上, 修正的逆距离加权格式与VOC格式等价, 从而对间断系数问题也是局部二阶收敛的。VOC格式可以用于单元中心型线性扩散格式和保正格式的节点值计算。数值算例表明对扭曲网格上的间断系数问题, VOC格式是二阶收敛的。采用VOC格式计算节点值的线性九点格式具有线性精确性和二阶收敛性, 采用VOC格式的保正格式也具有二阶收敛性。  相似文献

Recently a cross-phase modulation scheme that yields giant Kerr nonlinearities by use of an electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) was proposed [Schmidt and Imamoglu, Opt. Lett. 21, 1936 (1996)]. We analyze the high-speed properties of this scheme for short-pulse propagation. We discuss the relevant losses in this system and show that for short pulses one-photon losses are dominant. We demonstrate that over the entire bandwidth the attainable phase shift in an EIT scheme with a quasi-cw coupling field is orders of magnitude higher than in a conventional three-level scheme or in EIT schemes, in which matched pulses are used to create the transparency.  相似文献

We have investigated the problem of teleporting a three-particle entangled W state and we propose a scheme based on entanglement spapping to complete the teleportation.We also put forward a scheme for the teleportation of a general W state by using nonmaximally entangled quantum channels.The probability of success of the latter scheme is obtained.  相似文献

We present a new all-optical fiber-referencing scheme for intensity-modulated sensors. It consists of a closed loop traversed by sensing and reference optical signals in opposite directions. With the proposed scheme the noise induced by power fluctuations of the optical source and mechanical perturbations can be greatly reduced. We experimentally demonstrate the efficiency of the scheme and discuss its use in a sensor array.  相似文献

We present bosonic actions which are equivalent to various chiral fermion theories. For the case of one chiral fermion coupled to an abelian gauge field, we present two bosonized actions, one corresponding to regularizing in the vector conserving scheme and the other in the left-right scheme. We then propose an action for the non-abelian bosonization of Weyl fermions which is a WZW action coupled to a fixed curved background. The chiral WZW action is then coupled to non-abelian gauge fields. We derive the anomalies of the axial current (in the vector conserving scheme) and the left-right currents (in the left-right regularization scheme), both for the abelian and non-abelian bosonized actions. The expressions for the anomalies are identical to those derived in the corresponding fermionic theories.  相似文献

We propose a scheme for generating nonclassical states for the centre-of-mass vibrational mode of N trapped ions,including superpositions of several coherent states on a circle and Fock states. In the scheme N trapped ions are driven by a laser beam tuned to the carrier. The scheme also provides a new prospect for laser cooling. We propose a concise quantization scheme for mesoscopic electric circuits which is in accord with the discreteness of electric charge. Our scheme is based on finding the correct explicit form of charge ascending and lowering operators. The charge eigenstate are derived from the appropriate entangled state representation. We present a scheme for teleporting an unknown single-photon polarization state by using the partially entangled state as the quantum channel. Based on weak cross-Kerr nonlinearity, in this scheme the sender utilizes the quantum parity-check detector (PCD) instead of the usual Bell state measurement. After getting the sender’s measurement result, the receiver of the scheme exploits another PCD to retrieve the original state with some additional photons being introduced. We work out the success probability of the scheme and show that the scheme is feasible with the current technology.  相似文献

In this paper, a scheme is proposed for remote state preparation (RSP) with cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). In our scheme, two observers share two-atom nonmaximally entangled state as quantum channels and can realize remote preparation of state of an atom. We also propose a generalization for remote preparation of N-atom entangled state by (N+1)-atom GHZ-like state (N ≥ 2). By this scheme, one single-atom projective measurement is enough for the RSP of a qubit or N-atom entangled state, and the probability of success for RSP is unity. Furthermore, we have considered the case where observers use W-like state as quantum channels to realize RSP of a qubit. We compare our scheme with existing ones.  相似文献

We present a new Multiple-Observations (MO) helper data scheme for secret-key binding to an SRAM-PUF. This MO scheme binds a single key to multiple enrollment observations of the SRAM-PUF. Performance is improved in comparison to classic schemes which generate helper data based on a single enrollment observation. The performance increase can be explained by the fact that the reliabilities of the different SRAM cells are modeled (implicitly) in the helper data. We prove that the scheme achieves secret-key capacity for any number of enrollment observations, and, therefore, it is optimal. We evaluate performance of the scheme using Monte Carlo simulations, where an off-the-shelf LDPC code is used to implement the linear error-correcting code. Another scheme that models the reliabilities of the SRAM cells is the so-called Soft-Decision (SD) helper data scheme. The SD scheme considers the one-probabilities of the SRAM cells as an input, which in practice are not observable. We present a new strategy for the SD scheme that considers the binary SRAM-PUF observations as an input instead and show that the new strategy is optimal and achieves the same reconstruction performance as the MO scheme. Finally, we present a variation on the MO helper data scheme that updates the helper data sequentially after each successful reconstruction of the key. As a result, the error-correcting performance of the scheme is improved over time.  相似文献

We propose an efficient scheme for realizing squeezing for a cavity mode. In the scheme, a collection of ladder-type three-level atoms are trapped in a cavity and driven by two classical fields. Under certain conditions, the cavity field deterministically evolves to a squeezed state. We propose a quantum teleportation scheme for tripartite entangled coherent state (ECS) with continuous variable. Our scheme is feasible and economical in the sense that we need only linear optical devices such as beam splitters, phase shifters and photon detectors and employ three bipartite maximally ECSs as quantum channels. We also generalize the tripartite scheme into multipartite ease and calculate the minimum average fidelity for the schemes in tripartite and multipartite cases.  相似文献

We present a scalable scheme to design optimized soft pulses and pulse sequences for coherent control of interacting quantum many-body systems. The scheme is based on the cluster expansion and the time-dependent perturbation theory implemented numerically. This approach offers a dramatic advantage in numerical efficiency, and it is also more convenient than the commonly used Magnus expansion, especially when dealing with higher-order terms. We illustrate the scheme by designing 2nd-order self-refocusing pi pulses and a 6th-order 8-pulse refocusing sequence for a chain of qubits with nearest-neighbor couplings. We also discuss the performance of soft-pulse refocusing sequences in suppressing decoherence due to low-frequency environment.  相似文献

We present a high order kinetic flux-vector splitting (KFVS) scheme for the numerical solution of a conservative interface-capturing five-equation model of compressible two-fluid flows. This model was initially introduced by Wackers and Koren (2004) [21]. The flow equations are the bulk equations, combined with mass and energy equations for one of the two fluids. The latter equation contains a source term in order to account for the energy exchange. We numerically investigate both one- and two-dimensional flow models. The proposed numerical scheme is based on the direct splitting of macroscopic flux functions of the system of equations. In two space dimensions the scheme is derived in a usual dimensionally split manner. The second order accuracy of the scheme is achieved by using MUSCL-type initial reconstruction and Runge–Kutta time stepping method. For validation, the results of our scheme are compared with those from the high resolution central scheme of Nessyahu and Tadmor [14]. The accuracy, efficiency and simplicity of the KFVS scheme demonstrate its potential for modeling two-phase flows.  相似文献
