The process of structurization in solutions of H-complexes of dimethyl 3,3,4,4 -benzophenonetetracarboxylate with 4,4 -diaminodiphenylmethane has been investigated in 90 % aqueous methanol in the concentration range 6 to 0.2 g L–1. Structural instability of the solutions has been found in the concentration range from 1.2 to 2 g L–1. The addition of an ionogenic substance stabilizes the solution and results in monotonic changes in the structural parameters as solution is diluted. A tendency toward variation of the extemum in the mean correlation radius of the polarizability fluctuation has been found in the concentration range 0.6-–1 g L–1, which had been observed previously for polymer systems.For Part 1, see Ref. 1.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. A precise, reliable, sensitive, and selective method for the determination of titanium(IV) is described. Titanium(IV) reacts withN 1-hydroxy-N 1,N 2-diphenylbenzamidine (HDPBA) and thiocyanate to form an orange-coloured mixed-ligand complex of stoichiometry 112 (Ti SCN HDPBA). The complex is quantitatively extractable into toluene from 0.05–0.15M hydrochloric acid. The spectrum of the complex exhibits an absorption maximum at 400 nm with a molar absorptivity of 20000M –1 cm–1 and the coloured system obeys Beer's law in the concentration range 0.20–3.0 gml–1 titanium. The effects of foreign ions and of various experimental parameters have been studied to establish the optimum conditions for the extraction and determination of titanium. The precision of the method has been evaluated and the relative standard deviation has been found to be 0.53%. The method has been successfully applied to the determination of titanium in synthetic matrices corresponding to titanium-containing ores, minerals, and alloys.  相似文献

The main component of the polyphenolic complex has been isolated from the leaves of two species of sumac (Rhus glabra andRh. typhina) and for this we have proposed the structure of 3,6-bis-O-digalloyl-1,2,4-tri-O-galloyl--D-glucose. The second dissociation constant pK2 of 3-(N-morpholino)propanesulfonic acid (MOPS) has been determined at eight temperatures from 5 to 55°C by measurements of the emf of cells without liquid junction, utilizing hydrogen electrodes and silver–silver chloride electrodes. The pK2 has a value of 7.18 ± 0.001 at 25°C and 7.044 ± 0.002 at 37°C. The thermodynamic quantities G°, H°, S°, and C p o have been derived from the temperature coefficients of the pK 2. This buffer at ionic strength I = 0.16 mol-kg–1 close to that of blood serum, has been recommended as a useful secondary pH standard for measurements of physiological fluids. Five buffer solutions with the following compositions were prepared: (a) equimolal mixture of MOPS (0.05 mol-kg–1) + NaMOPS, (0.05 mol-kg–1); (b( MOPS (0.05 mol-kg–1) + NaMOPS (0.05 mol-kg–1) + NaCl (0.05 mol-kg–1); (c) MOPS (0.05 mol-kg–1) + NaMOPS (0.05 mol-kg–1); + NaCl (0.11mol-kg–1); (d) MOPS (0.08 mol-kg–1) + NaMOPS (0.08 mol-kg–1); and (e)MOPS (0.08 mol-kg–1) + NaMOPS (0.08 mol-kg–1) + NaCl (0.08 mol-kg–1).The pH values obtained by using the pH meter + glass electrode assembly are compared with those measured from a flow–junction calomel cell saturated with KCl (cell B), as well as those obtained from cell (A) without liquid junction at 25 and 37°C. The conventional values of the liquid junction potentials E j have been obtained at 25 and 37°C for the physiological phosphate reference solution as well as for the MOPS buffers (d) and (e) mentioned above.  相似文献
