Various ethyl 1-arylcarbonyl-3-[(un)substituted methylthio]thieno[3,4-b]indolizine-9-carboxylates were synthesized in good yields by a novel methodology in which the S-alkylation of 5-arylcarbonyl-4-ethoxycarbonylmethyl-3-(1-pyridinio)thiophene-2-thiolates with alkyl or benzyl halides, the 1,5-dipolar cyclization of the resulting pyridinium salts in the presence of a base, and the aromatization were performed. In the X-ray analyses of some 3-(benzylthio)thieno[3,4-b]indolizine-9-carboxylates, a gauche and two anti conformers in relation to the exocyclic sulfide linkage were found. Interestingly, all of the 3-(benzylthio)thieno[3,4-b]indolizine derivatives showed significant high-field shifts (delta up to 0.3 ppm) for the 5- and 6-proton signals compared with those of the 3-methylthio derivatives in the (1)H-NMR spectra and exhibited a definite absorption band near 425 nm in their UV spectra, indicating an intramolecular arene-arene interaction between the thieno[3,4-b]indolizine and the phenyl ring. 相似文献

The configuration of N-[1,2-bis(methoxycarbonyl)vinyl]-pyridinium intermediate generated from stereoisomers of dimethyl dibromosuccinate or dimethyl bromobutenedioate does not depend on the precursors’ configuration, as distinct from the yields and the reaction rates. The use of various nucleophiles in these cascade reactions gives either cycloheptadieneoctacarboxylic or cycloheptatrienehepta-carboxylic esters along with pyridinium 5-dicyano-methylidene-2,3,4-tris(methoxycarbonyl)cyclopenta-1,3-dien-1-olate. In the latter case, the acyclic ‘Diels’ golden adduct’ was detected, and its structure was refined. 相似文献

Although , (Fp η-C5H5Fe(CO)2) (I) is stable and characterizable, the lower homologue FpCH2CH(CO2CH3)2 (II) is not; this we attribute to a facile elimination reaction resulting from the relatively acidic β-hydrogen of II. Formation of I from Fp? and XCH2CE2CH3 (X Br, Cl; E CO2CH2CH3) and cleavage of its FeC bonds (using H+, Br2, CeIV and HgII) occur without major amounts of ester group migrations, even though ·CH2CE2CH3 radicals are involved in some of these reactions. 相似文献

Some bis(indolizin-1-yl) disulfides, readily obtainable from the treatment of 1-(benzoylthio)indolizines with piperidine, were prepared and their conformations were investigated. In comparison with those of 1-(benzoylthio)indolizines, the (1)H-NMR spectra of these disulfides showed considerable high field shifts (delta 0.13-0.82 ppm) on each pyridine ring proton and the UV spectra exhibited significant bathochromic and hyperchromic shifts. These results supported strongly the participation of an intramolecular pi-pi interaction between the two indolizine rings in these molecules and, hence, of a particular gauche (cis) conformation. However, the conformational considerations and molecular calculations (Mopac PM3) for some bis(indolizin-1-yl) disulfides showed the presence of four more stable gauche forms in which two are enantiomeric, resulting in three types of gauche structures. Various thieno indolizine derivatives having an allylthio or propargylthio group at the 3-position were prepared and their intramolecular arene-pi interactions were investigated. Their 1H-NMR spectra showed significant low-field shifts (delta 0.10-0.34 ppm) to the 5-proton on the thieno indolizine ring, and this effect was the reverse to that observed in 3-(arylmethylthio)thieno indolizines. However, their UV spectra exhibited a characteristic absorption band due to the arene-pi interaction near 430 nm and these values were almost similar to those for arene-arene interaction of 3-arylmethylthio derivatives though their molar extinction coefficients were largely varied by the 3-substituents. Furthermore, both types of gauche conformations in which the intramolecular arene-pi interactions are possible in one form and impossible in the other were confirmed by X-ray analyses of some compounds. 相似文献

Various thieno[3,4-b]indolizine derivatives having an acylmethylthio or (3-ethoxycarbonyl-2-propenyl)thio group at the 3-position which could not be obtained by a conventional method were prepared by a new procedure using cyanoethyl group as a protecting group and their intramolecular arene-pi interactions were investigated. In the (1)H-NMR spectra of these thieno[3,4-b]indolizines, the low-field shifts (delta 0.10-0.33 ppm) for the 5-protons were observed in comparison with those of 3-(methylthio)thieno[3,4-b]indolizines as a standard. The UV spectra also exhibited a characteristic absorption band at 425-445 nm attributable to the arene-pi interaction but their intensities were generally lower than those of 3-(arylmethylthio)thieno[3,4-b]indolizines. In their X-ray analyses, the anti conformation for 3-(acylmethylthio)thieno[3,4-b]indolizines and the gauche one for the 3-(3-ethoxycarbonyl-2-propenyl)thio derivatives were exhibited. 相似文献

The title compounds, together with 3-vinylindolizine-1-carbonitriles (4-56%), were prepared in 1-18% yields from the S-alkylation of pyridinium 1-[3-ethoxycarbonyl-1-[cyanomethylthio(thiocarbonyl)]]all ylides with alkyl halides, followed by treatment of the resulting pyridinium salts with a base and then a dehydrogenating agent. In several reactions of pyridinium salts obtained from reaction of the allylides with benzylic halides, trace amounts of bis[1-cyano-9-(ethoxycarbonyl)thieno[3,4-b]indolizin-3-yl] disulfides with an interesting superimposed structure were also isolated. Some thieno[3,4-b]indolizine derivatives having a 1-naphthylmethylthio, 2-methyl-1-naphthylmethylthio, 2-naphthylmethylthio, or 9-anthrylmethylthio group at the 3-position were prepared and their intramolecular arene-arene interactions were investigated. In comparison with 3-(methylthio)thieno[3,4-b]indolizines which have no such interactions, the (1)H-NMR spectra of title compounds showed large high-field shifts (delta 0.06-0.89 ppm) for the protons of the pyridine ring in the thieno[3,4-b]indolizine, and these values were considerably larger than those (delta <0.3 ppm) in 3-(benzylthio)thieno[3,4-b]indolizines. The UV spectra also exhibited a characteristic absorption band near 425 nm attributable to the arene-arene interaction. In the X-ray analyses of some compounds, however, the presence of both the gauche and the anti conformers at the sulfide spacer were confirmed. 相似文献

The synthesis and the mechanism of oxidative polymerization of 2,2-bis[4-(1-naphthoxy)phenyl]propane ( 4 ) and 2,2-bis[4-(1-naphthyl)phenyl]propane ( 9 ) are presented. Both monomers polymerize by two different propagation steps. The first one represents a cation-radical dimerization of the naphthyl groups to dinaphthyl structure. H+[FeCl4]? generated from the first propagation step initiates a transalkylation reaction which provides structural units containing isopropylidenic groups inserted between phenyl and naphthyl, and between two naphthyl groups, respectively. Since the phenyl groups resulted from the second propagation reaction are unreactive in both the oxidative coupling and the transalkylation steps this polymerization reaction leads to polymers with low molecular weights containing phenyl chain ends. 相似文献

The alkaline treatment of the pyridinium salts, readily available from the S-alkylations of 3-amino-4-(1-pyridinio)thiophene-5-thiolates with various alkyl halides, in chloroform at room temperature afforded the corresponding thieno[3',4':4,5]imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine derivatives in low to moderate yields via the intramolecular cyclization of the resulting 1,5-dipoles followed by the aromatization of the primary cycloadducts. Interestingly, the reactions using unsymmetrical 3-amino-4-[1-(3-methylpyridinio)]thiophene-5-thiolates afforded only 8-methylthieno[3',4':4,5]imidazo[1,2-a]pyridines and the other 6-methyl derivatives were not formed at all. In addition the isolation of a byproduct in the condensation reaction of pyridinium salt with the solvent (CHCl?) is also discussed. 相似文献

The bromination/dehydrobromination reactions of ethyl 3-[1-alkoxycarbonyl-2-(methylthio)indolizin-3-yl]acrylates were reinvestigated. Reactions of the title compounds with two equivalents of bromine, followed by heating of the resulting reaction mixture and then treatment with a base gave the unexpected dialkyl 7-bromothieno[2,3-b]indolizine-2,9-dicarboxylates, while similar reactions using benzyltrimethylammonium tribromide as a brominating agent afforded only non-brominated thieno[2,3-b]indolizine derivatives, which were converted to the corresponding 7-bromo derivatives upon further treatment with bromine. 相似文献

New compounds having two indolizine nuclei in a molecule were prepared in low to moderate yields from the reactions of potassium 2-indolizinethiolates with 1,omega-dihalides such as 1,2-diiodoethane, 1,3-dibromopropane, 1,4-dibromobutane, alpha,alpha'-dichloro-o-xylene, and alpha,alpha'-dichloro-p-xylene. Most of the products had the conformation in which the two indolizine rings in the molecule are as remote as possible, but only 1,2-bis[[(2-indolizinyl)thio]methyl]benzene derivatives, prepared from potassium 2-indolizinethiolates and alpha,alpha'-dichloro-o-xylene, showed a weak attractive interaction between the two indolizine nuclei in the X-ray analysis and the nuclear Overhauser and exchange spectroscopy (NOESY) spectrum. 相似文献

The reactions of 1-(carbomethoxyethyl)-, 1-[1,2-bis(carbethoxy)-ethyl]-, and 1-[1,2-bis(carbomethoxy)vinyl]aziridine with thiols and thiolcarboxylic acids produce the corresponding sulfides and esters of S-substituted N-(2-mercaptoethyl) amino acids.
