In this paper, we establish the discrete approximation of continuous-state nonlinear branching processes in Lévy random environments by using tightness and convergence sequence in infinite dimensional product space via stochastic differential equations. Taking α-stable branching as an example, the conditions which are given to discretize continuous-state nonlinear branching processes in Lévy random environments are verified. © 2022 Chinese Academy of Sciences. 接触角滞后表现为流体在非理想固体表面上运动时前进接触角和后退接触角不同,是两相流体在润湿表面上流动的重要现象.该文采用改进的伪势格子Boltzmann(LB)多组分模型,并与几何润湿边界条件相结合,研究了两个液滴在具有接触角滞后性微通道表面上的运动行为,主要研究了通道内特征数、通道表面性质以及液滴初始参数的影响.研究结果表明:毛细数的增大有助于液滴的移动,然而并不利于液滴的排出,且毛细数的增加对上游液滴的影响大于其对下游液滴的影响;另一方面,接触角滞后性窗口越大,液滴运动和形变更迟缓,但形变程度更明显,两液滴更早地发生合并,但更晚地排出管道;液滴间距的增加使液滴的运动行为在不同阶段表现为不同的模式,但都导致通道中残留小液滴,使得液滴排出通道的时间增加.研究结果还表明:上游液滴和下游液滴的相对尺寸差距越大,越不利于液滴排出管道.  相似文献

The VOF method was used to numerically study the upward motion of a single bubble in viscoelastic fluid, and the Oldroyd-B model was applied to describe the fluid viscoelastic property. At low Weissenberg numbers (Wi≤1), the effects of the viscous force, the relaxation time, the surface tension and the viscosity ratio on the rising motion of the bubble were studied. The results show that, under relatively large viscous and elastic forces (such as Ga= 2, Wi≥0.5 and β = 0.2), the bubble exhibits the phenomenon of “a pointed rear end”, and this phenomenon intensifies with the increase of the elasticity and the decrease of the surface tension. Otherwise, under a relatively weak elasticity (such as Wi= 0.1), the phenomenon of “a pointed rear end” disappears, and the bubble bears a hat-like shape. For a large surface tension (such as Eo = 1), the bubble bears a longitudinally elongated ellipse-like shape without distinct tail features. The effect of the surface tension on the bubble in viscoelastic fluid is like that in viscous fluid. The bubble has 2 types of rising motions, namely, “continuous acceleration” to a stable velocity and “acceleration-deceleration-reacceleration” to a stable velocity, and the bubble rising velocity in viscoelastic fluid is higher than that in pure viscous fluid. The elastic stress around the bubble is influenced by the viscosity and the relaxation time of the fluid, and with the decrease of the fluid viscosity or/ and the increase of the relaxation time, the incidence of the elastic stress becomes wide. © 2023 Editorial Office of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics. A study of scattering properties of S0 mode Lamb wave in an infinite plate with multiple damage is presented. Plate theory and wave function expansion method are used to derive the analytical solutions for the scattering wave field in plate with a single damage, and by using the addition theorems of Bessel functions, interference phenomena between scattering wave fields from different damage is investigated. Measurements agree well between theoretical results and FE simulation study of plate with two damage and validity of the model is confirmed. Numerical results of scattering displacement field in plate with two and three damage are graphically presented and discussed. An assessment of effects of damage geometric properties on the scattering properties is made.  相似文献

Bending and free vibration behaviour of laminated soft core skew sandwich plate with stiff laminate face sheets is investigated using a recently developed C0 finite element (FE) model based on higher order zigzag theory (HOZT) in this paper. The in-plane displacement fields are assumed as a combination of a linear zigzag function with different slopes at each layer and a cubically varying function over the entire thickness. The out of plane displacement is considered to be quadratic within the core and constant in the face sheets. The plate theory ensures a shear stress-free condition at the top and bottom surfaces of the plate. Thus, the plate theory has all of the features required for accurate modelling of laminated skew sandwich plates. As very few element model based on this plate theory (HOZT) exist and they possess certain disadvantages, an attempt has been made to check the applicability of the refined element model. The nodal field variables are chosen in such a manner that there is no need to impose any penalty stiffness in the formulation. Refined C0 finite element model has been utilized to study some interesting problems on static and free vibration analysis of laminated skew sandwich plates.  相似文献
