The Birch reduction of 2‐ and 5‐acylfuran‐3‐carboxylic acid 1 and 4 gave 2‐acyl‐2,3‐dihydrofuran‐3‐carboxylic acid 2 and 5‐acyltetrahydrofuran‐3‐carboxylic acid 5 , respectively. Further examination of the reductive elimination was also studied on 2‐(arylmethoxymethyl)furan‐3‐carboxylic acids 7.  相似文献

The ring‐opening polymerization of ε‐caprolactone (ε‐CL), initiated by carboxylic acids such as benzoic acid and chlorinated acetic acids under microwave irradiation, was investigated; with this method, no metal catalyst was necessary. The product was characterized as poly(ε‐caprolactone) (PCL) by 1H NMR spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, ultraviolet spectroscopy, and gel permeation chromatography. The polymerization was significantly improved under microwave irradiation. The weight‐average molecular weight (Mw) of PCL reached 44,800 g/mol, with a polydispersity index [weight‐average molecular weight/number‐average molecular weight (Mw/Mn)] of 1.6, when a mixture of ε‐CL and benzoic acid (25/1 molar ratio) was irradiated at 680 W for 240 min, whereas PCL with Mw = 12,100 and Mw/Mn = 4.2 was obtained from the same mixture by a conventional heating method at 210 °C for 240 min. A degradation of the resultant PCL was observed during microwave polymerization with chlorinated acetic acids as initiators, and this induced a decrease in Mw of PCL. The reaction of the alkylhydrazinoquinoxaline N‐oxides 2a‐d with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate gave the dimethyl 1‐alkyl‐1,5‐dihydropyridazino[3,4‐b]qumoxaline‐3,4‐dicarboxylates 3a‐d , whose reaction with nitrous acid effected the C4‐oxidation to afford the dimethyl 1‐alkyl‐4‐hydroxy‐1,4‐dihydropyridazino‐[3,4‐b]quinoxaline‐3,4‐dicarboxylates 4a‐d , respectively. The reaction of compounds 4a‐d with 1,8‐diazabicyclo[5.4.0]‐7‐undecene in ethanol provided the ethyl 1‐alkyl‐4‐oxo‐1,4‐dihydropyridazino[3,4‐b]quinoxa‐line‐3‐carboxylates 5a‐d , while the reaction of compounds 4a‐d with potassium hydroxide furnished the 1‐alkyl‐4‐oxo‐1,4‐dihydropyridazino[3,4‐b]quinoxaline‐3‐carboxylic acids 6a‐d , respectively. Compounds 6c,d were also obtained by the reaction of compounds 5c,d with potassium hydroxide, respectively.  相似文献

The molecules of racemic 3‐benzoylmethyl‐3‐hydroxyindolin‐2‐one, C16H13NO3, (I), are linked by a combination of N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds into a chain of centrosymmetric edge‐fused R22(10) and R44(12) rings. Five monosubstituted analogues of (I), namely racemic 3‐hydroxy‐3‐[(4‐methylbenzoyl)methyl]indolin‐2‐one, C17H15NO3, (II), racemic 3‐[(4‐fluorobenzoyl)methyl]‐3‐hydroxyindolin‐2‐one, C16H12FNO3, (III), racemic 3‐[(4‐chlorobenzoyl)methyl]‐3‐hydroxyindolin‐2‐one, C16H12ClNO3, (IV), racemic 3‐[(4‐bromobenzoyl)methyl]‐3‐hydroxyindolin‐2‐one, C16H12BrNO3, (V), and racemic 3‐hydroxy‐3‐[(4‐nitrobenzoyl)methyl]indolin‐2‐one, C16H12N2O5, (VI), are isomorphous in space group P. In each of compounds (II)–(VI), a combination of N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds generates a chain of centrosymmetric edge‐fused R22(8) and R22(10) rings, and these chains are linked into sheets by an aromatic π–π stacking interaction. No two of the structures of (II)–(VI) exhibit the same combination of weak hydrogen bonds of C—H...O and C—H...π(arene) types. The molecules of racemic 3‐hydroxy‐3‐(2‐thienylcarbonylmethyl)indolin‐2‐one, C14H11NO3S, (VII), form hydrogen‐bonded chains very similar to those in (II)–(VI), but here the sheet formation depends upon a weak π–π stacking interaction between thienyl rings. Comparisons are drawn between the crystal structures of compounds (I)–(VII) and those of some recently reported analogues having no aromatic group in the side chain.  相似文献

Starting from 1H‐pyrazol, a wide number of 1‐alkyl‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl and 1‐alkyl‐1H‐pyrazol‐5‐ylboronic acids and their pinacol esters were synthesized and characterized. The key step in the described methodology is the regioselective lithiation of the pyrazole ring. The synthesized pinacolates are stable under prolonged storage and can be used as convenient reagents in organic synthesis.  相似文献

The title compounds, C20H20FNO6 and C20H19Cl2NO6, respectively, may exhibit bioactivity. In these compounds, the pyrrolidine ring adopts a conformation intermediate between envelope and half‐chair. Only one of the two ethoxy­carbonyl side chains is nearly planar. Centrosymmetric pairs are formed, and the crystal structure is stabilized by weak C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and van der Waals interactions.  相似文献

The first two crystal structures of en­amines derived from 1‐n‐alkyl‐3‐methyl‐5‐pyrazolones, namely 1‐(n‐hexyl)‐3‐methyl‐4‐[1‐(phenyl­amino)­propyl­idene]‐2‐pyrazolin‐5‐one, C19H27N3O, (I), and N,N′‐bis{1‐[1‐(n‐hexyl)‐3‐methyl‐5‐oxo‐2‐pyrazolin‐4‐yl­idene]­ethyl}hexane‐1,6‐di­amine, C30H52N6O2, (II), are reported. The mol­ecule of (II) lies about an inversion centre. Both (I) and (II) are stabilized by intramolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonding. This confirms previous results based on spectroscopic evidence alone.  相似文献

The reaction of O‐menthyl phenylphosphonite 1 with aromatic aldehydes in the presence of Me3SiCl provided the O‐menthyl α‐hydroxyphosphinates 2 . Acidic hydrolysis of 2 gave the corresponding α‐hydroxyphosphinic acids 3 . The (+)‐enantiomer of 3a and 3b , adduct of benzaldehyde and 4‐methylbenzaldehyde respectively, were obtained via multiple recrystallization. The absolute configuration of (+)‐ 3a was determined as S by X‐ray crystallography. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A number of novel sulfonamide derivatives of 5‐substituted‐3‐methylisoxazole were synthesized and characterized, starting from 3,5‐dimethylisoxazole. Key steps include the generation of 3,5‐dimethylisoxazole‐4‐sulfonamides followed by their reactions with N‐(dimethoxymethyl)‐N,N‐dimethylamine or various aromatic and heteroaromatic aldehydes. As a result, a series of novel aryl/heteroaryl‐ and aminovinylsubstituted derivatives of the isoxazole heterocycle were obtained. The scope and limitations of the developed approach are discussed.  相似文献

A series of 2‐(2‐nitrobenzyl)‐substituted β‐keto ester derivatives has been subjected to reductive cyclization under catalytic hydrogenation conditions. The reactions were found to be highly dependent on the catalyst and hydrogen pressure used. Hydrogenation over 5% palladium‐on‐carbon at 4 atmospheres pressure produced complex mixtures of products that included predominantly 1,2,3,4‐tetrahydroquinoline and quinoline products; at 1 atmosphere pressure, the same reactions gave mixtures containing predominantly tetrahydroquinoline and 1,4‐dihydroquinoline derivatives. Hydrogenation using 5% platinum‐on‐carbon was much cleaner and afforded the desired cis‐ and trans‐(±)‐2‐alkyl‐1,2,3,4‐tetrahydroquinoline‐3‐carboxylic esters, with the cis product predominating by ≥ 13:1.  相似文献

In solid‐state engineering, cocrystallization is a strategy actively pursued for pharmaceuticals. Two 1:1 cocrystals of 5‐fluorouracil (5FU; systematic name: 5‐fluoro‐1,3‐dihydropyrimidine‐2,4‐dione), namely 5‐fluorouracil–5‐bromothiophene‐2‐carboxylic acid (1/1), C5H3BrO2S·C4H3FN2O2, (I), and 5‐fluorouracil–thiophene‐2‐carboxylic acid (1/1), C4H3FN2O2·C5H4O2S, (II), have been synthesized and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies. In both cocrystals, carboxylic acid molecules are linked through an acid–acid R 22(8) homosynthon (O—H…O) to form a carboxylic acid dimer and 5FU molecules are connected through two types of base pairs [homosynthon, R 22(8) motif] via a pair of N—H…O hydrogen bonds. The crystal structures are further stabilized by C—H…O interactions in (II) and C—Br…O interactions in (I). In both crystal structures, π–π stacking and C—F…π interactions are also observed.  相似文献

We report a general method for selective cross‐coupling of α,β‐unsaturated carboxylic acids with aryl tosylates enabled by versatile Pd(II) complexes. This method features the general cross‐coupling of ubiquitous α,β‐unsaturated carboxylic acids by decarboxylation. The transformation is characterized by its operational simplicity, the use of inexpensive, air‐stable Pd(II) catalysts, scalability and wide substrate scope. The reaction proceeds with high trans selectivity to furnish valuable (E)‐1,2‐diarylethenes.  相似文献

Glucosamine hydrochloride 1 was treated with 1,3‐dicarbonyl compounds to obtain 2‐methyl‐5‐(1,2,3,4‐tetrahydroxy‐butyl) pyrrole 2a and 2b , respectively. Under the role of NaIO4, 2a and 2b were successfully transformed into the related 5‐formal pyrrole derivative 3a and 3b , respectively. Compounds 4a – 4d and 5a – 5e were obtained by reacting 3a and 3b with chlorinated hydrocarbons by alkylation reactions, respectively. The structures of all new products were confirmed by IR, NMR, and HRMS spectra.  相似文献

Synthetic routes to forty‐seven dibenzo‐16‐crown‐5 compounds with pendant carboxylic acid groups are reported. When taken together with previously described lariat ether carboxylic acids, these new compounds provide several series with systematic structural variations including changes in the identity and attachment site(s) of one or more lipophilic groups and the length of the spacer that connects the carboxylic acid group to the polyether framework.  相似文献

A new and convenient method for the preparation of 1,2‐dihydroisoquinoline‐3,4‐diones with alkoxy and alkyl groups at the 4‐ and 3‐positions, respectively, using an easily operated three‐step sequence starting from 2‐(dialkoxymethyl)phenyl bromides has been developed. Thus, the starting materials are treated with BuLi to generate 2‐(dialkoxymethyl)phenyllithiums, which are allowed to react with (COOMe)2 to give methyl 2‐(dialkoxymethyl)phenyl‐2‐oxoacetates. These are then transformed into the corresponding secondary amides by the reaction with primary amines. Treatment of these keto amides with a catalytic amount of TsOH?H2O affords the desired products. In order to demonstrate the synthetic utility of these products, transformation of one of them into the corresponding isoquinoline‐1,3,4(2H)‐trione derivative by the oxidation with PCC was achieved.  相似文献

The paper describes synthesis and antituberculosis activity of α‐[5‐(5‐amino‐1,3,4‐thiadiazol‐2‐yl)‐imidazol‐2‐ylthio]acetic acids ( 5a,b ). The compounds were tested against Mycobacterium tuberculosis strain H37Rv in comparison to rifampicin. Compounds exhibited low activity (MIC ≤ 6.25 μg/ml, % inhibition ≥ 24).  相似文献
