A rapid and sensitive analytical method has been developed for trace analysis of methyl tert‐butyl ether (MTBE) in water samples using dispersive liquid‐liquid microextraction and gas chromatography with flame ionization detection. Factors relevant to the microextraction efficiency, such as the kind of extraction solvent, the disperser solvent and their volumes, the effect of salt, sample solution temperature and the extraction time were investigated and optimized. Under the optimal conditions the linear dynamic range of MTBE was from 0.2 to 25.0 μg L?1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.9981 and a detection limit of 0.1 μg L?1. The relative standard deviation (RSD%) was less than 5.1% (n = 3) and the recovery values were in the range of 97.8 ± 0.9%. Finally, the proposed method was successfully applied for the analysis of MTBE in aqueous samples.  相似文献

A simple in‐line single drop liquid–liquid–liquid microextraction (SD‐LLLME) coupled with CE for the determination of two fluoroquinolones was developed. The method is capable to quantify trace amount of analytes in water samples and to improve the sensitivity of CE detection. For the SD‐LLLME, a thin layer of organic phase was used to separate a drop of 0.1 M NaOH hanging at the inlet of the capillary from the aqueous donor phase. By this way, the analytes were extracted to the acceptor phase through the organic layer based on their acidic/basic dissociation equilibrium. The drop was immersed into the organic phase during 10 min for extraction and then it is directly injected into the capillary for the analysis. Parameters such as type and volume of organic solvent phase, aqueous donor, and acceptor phases and extraction time and temperature were optimized. The enrichment factor was calculated, resulting 40‐fold for enrofloxacin (ENR) and sixfold for ciprofloxacin (CIP). The linear range were 20–400 μg/L for ENR and 60–400 μg/L for CIP. The detection limits were 10.1 μg/L and 55.3 μg/L for ENR and CIP, respectively, and a good reproducibility was obtained (4.4% for ENR and 5.6% for CIP). Two real water samples were analysed applying the new method and the obtained results presented satisfactory recovery percentages (90–100.3%).  相似文献

An automated three‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction based on two immiscible organic solvents followed by high‐performance liquid chromatography with UV–Vis detection method was applied for the extraction and determination of exemestane, letrozole, and paclitaxel in water and urine samples. n‐Dodecane was selected as the supported liquid membrane and its polarity was justified by trioctylphosphine oxide. Acetonitrile was used as an organic acceptor phase with desirable immiscibility having n‐dodecane. All the effective parameters of the microextraction procedure such as type of the organic acceptor phase, the supported liquid membrane composition, extraction time, pH of the donor phase, hollow fiber length, stirring rate, and ionic strength were evaluated and optimized separately by a one variable at‐a‐time method. Under the optimal conditions, the linear dynamic ranges were 1.8–200 (R2 = 0.9991), 0.9–200 (R2 = 0.9987) and 1.2–200 μg/L (R2 = 0.9983), and the limits of detection were 0.6, 0.3, and 0.4 μg/L for exemestane, letrozole, and paclitaxel, respectively. To evaluate the capability of the proposed method in the analysis of biological samples, three different urinary samples were analyzed under the optimal conditions. The relative recoveries of the three pharmaceuticals were in the range of 91–107.3% for these three analytes.  相似文献

A three‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction method coupled with CE was developed and used for the determination of partition coefficients and analysis of selected nitrophenols in water samples. The selected nitrophenols were extracted from 14 mL of aqueous solution (donor solution) with the pH adjusted to pH 3 into an organic phase (1‐octanol) immobilized in the pores of the hollow fiber and finally backextracted into 40.0 μL of the acceptor phase (NaOH) at pH 12.0 located inside the lumen of the hollow fiber. The extractions were carried out under the following optimum conditions: donor solution, 0.05 M H3PO4, pH 3.0; organic solvent, 1‐octanol; acceptor solution, 40 μL of 0.1 M NaOH, pH 12.0; agitation rate, 1050 rpm; extraction time, 15 min. Under optimized conditions, the calibration curves for the analytes were linear in the range of 0.05–0.30 mg/L with r2>0.9900 and LODs were in the range of 0.01–0.04 mg/L with RSDs of 1.25–2.32%. Excellent enrichment factors of up to 398‐folds were obtained. It was found that the partition coefficient (Ka/d) values were high for 2‐nitrophenol, 3‐nitrophenol, 4‐nitrophenol, 2,4‐dinitrophenol and 2,6‐dinitrophenol and that the individual partition coefficients (Korg/d and Ka/org) promoted efficient simultaneous extraction from the donor through the organic phase and further into the acceptor phase. The developed method was successfully applied for the analysis of water samples.  相似文献

A method termed liquid-liquid-liquid microextraction (LLLME) was utilized to extract 4-t-butylphenol, 4-t-octylphenol, 4-n-nonylphenol, and bisphenol-A from water. The extracted target analytes were separated and quantified by high-performance liquid chromatography using a fluorescence detector. In LLLME, the donor phase (i.e. water sample) was made weakly acidic by adding monobasic potassium phosphate (KH(2) PO(4)); the organic phase adopted was 4-chlorotoluene; the acceptor phase (i.e. enriched extract) was 0.2 M tetraethylammonium hydroxide dissolved in ethylene glycol. This study solves a problem associated with the surface activity of long-chain alkylphenolate ions, permitting LLLME to extract long-chain alkylphenols. Experimental conditions such as acceptor phase composition, organic phase identity, acceptor phase volume, sample agitation, extraction time, and salt addition were optimized. The relative standard deviation (RSD, 2.0-5.8%), coefficient of determination (r(2) 0.9977-0.9999), and detection limit (0.017-0.0048 ng/mL) of the proposed method were achieved under the selected optimized conditions. The method was successfully applied to analyses of lake and tap water samples, and the relative recoveries of target analytes from the spiked lake and tap water samples were 92.8-106.3 and 93.6-105.6%, respectively. The results obtained with the proposed method confirm this microextraction technique to be reliable for the monitoring of alkylphenols and bisphenol-A in water samples.  相似文献

In this study, a simple, rapid and efficient method, homogeneous liquid‐liquid microextraction via flotation assistance (HLLME‐FA) combined with gas chromatography – flame ionization detection (GC‐FID), for the determination of chlorobenzenes (CBs) in water samples, has been described. In this research, a special extraction cell was designed to facilitate collection of the low‐density solvent extraction. No centrifugation was required in this procedure. The water sample solution was added into the extraction cell which contained an appropriate mixture of extraction and homogeneous solvents. By using air flotation, the organic solvent was collected at the conical part of the designed cell. Parameters affecting extraction efficiency were investigated and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the detection limits, the precisions and the linearity of the method were found in the range of 0.2 to 1.5 µg L‐1, 5.7–9.3% (RSD, n =5) and 0.5–200 µg L‐1, respectively.  相似文献

A novel technique utilizing the adsorptive potential of immobilized multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (I‐MWCNT) in hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction (HF‐LPME) was developed for the determination of diuretics in urine. In this study, the potential of carbon nanotubes as a sorbent for three‐phase liquid‐phase microextraction of diuretics from urine samples was evaluated. Analysis was performed using liquid chromatography‐tandem mass spectrometry (LC‐MS/MS). A novel method was applied to detect acetazolamide (AAA), chlorothiazide (CTA), hydrochlorothiazide (HCT), hydroflumethiazide (HFT), clopamide (CA), trichlormethiazide (TCM), althiazide (AT) and bendroflumethiazide (BFT) in urine. Two‐step extractions using different times and temperatures for each step were adopted. Parameters influencing the extraction efficiency, including the extraction solvent, sample pH, salt concentration, extraction time and extraction temperature were systematically optimized. Under the resulting optimal extraction conditions, this method showed good linearity over an analytes concentration range of 1 to 1000 ng/mL, high extraction repeatability with relative standard deviations of less than 6%, and low detection limits (0.09 to 0.51 ng/mL). The application of the methods to the determination of diuretics in real samples was tested by analyzing urine samples of patient.  相似文献

The effect of extraction and disperser solvent (nature and volume), pH of sample solution, extraction time and extraction temperature was investigated. Under the optimal conditions the linear dynamic range of patulin was from 8.0 to 40.0 μg L‐1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.9993 and a detection limit of 4.0 μg L‐1. The relative standard deviation (RSD) was less than 5.9% (n = 5) and the recovery values were in the range of 94‐97%. Finally the proposed method was successfully applied for the analysis of patulin in apple juice and concentrate samples.  相似文献

A liquid‐phase microextraction technique was developed using dispersive liquid‐liquid microextraction based on solidification of floating organic drop combined with flame atomic absorption spectrometry, for the extraction and determination of trace amounts of cobalt in water samples. Microextraction efficiency factors, such as the type and volume of extraction and dispersive solvents, pH, extraction time, the chelating agent amount, and ionic strength were investigated and optimized. Under optimum conditions, an enrichment factor of 160 was obtained from 10.0 mL of water sample. The calibration graph was linearin the range of 1.15‐110 μg L?1 with a detection limit of 0.35 μg L?1. The relative standard deviation for ten replicate measurements of 10 and 100 μg L?1 of cobalt were 3.26% and 2.57%, respectively. The proposed method was assessed through the analysis of certified reference water or recovery experiments.  相似文献

In this study, simple and efficient ultrasound‐assisted dispersive liquid‐liquid microextraction combined with gas chromatography (GC) was developed for the preconcentration and determination of methyl‐tert‐butyl ether (MTBE) in water samples. One hundred microliters of benzyl alcohol was injected slowly into 10 mL home‐designed centrifuge glass vial containing an aqueous sample with 30% (w/v) of NaCl that was located inside the ultrasonic water bath. The formed emulsion was centrifuged and 2 μL of separated benzyl alcohol was injected into a gas chromatographic system equipped with a flame ionization detector (GC‐FID) for analysis. Several factors influencing the extraction efficiency such as the nature and volume of organic solvent, extraction temperature, ionic strength and centrifugation times were investigated and optimized. Using optimum extraction conditions a detection limit of 0.05 μg L‐1 and a good linearity (r2 = 0.998) in a calibration range of 0.1‐500 μg L‐1 were achieved. This proposed method was successfully applied to the analysis of MTBE in tap, well and a ground water sam ple contaminated by leaking gasoline from an underground storage tank (LUST) in a gasoline service station.  相似文献

A simple, environmentally friendly, and efficient method, based on hollow‐fiber‐supported liquid membrane microextraction, followed by high‐performance liquid chromatography has been developed for the extraction and determination of amlodipine (AML) and atorvastatin (ATO) in water and urine samples. The AML in two‐phase hollow‐fiber liquid microextraction is extracted from 24.0 mL of the aqueous sample into an organic phase with microliter volume located inside the pores and lumen of a polypropylene hollow fiber as acceptor phase, but the ATO in three‐phase hollow‐fiber liquid microextraction is extracted from aqueous donor phase to organic phase and then back‐extracted to the aqueous acceptor phase, which can be directly injected into the high‐performance liquid chromatograph for analysis. The preconcentration factors in a range of 34–135 were obtained under the optimum conditions. The calibration curves were linear (R2 ≥ 0.990) in the concentration range of 2.0–200 μg/L for AML and 5.0–200 μg/L for ATO. The limits of detection for AML and ATO were 0.5 and 2.0 μg/L, respectively. Tap water and human urine samples were successfully analyzed for the existence of AML and ATO using the proposed methods.  相似文献

The speciation of chromium(VI) and chromium(III) was investigated by using hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction based on two immiscible organic solvents followed by high performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detection. In this method, chromium(VI) and chromium(III) reacted with ammonium pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate to produce hydrophobic complexes. Subsequently, the complexes were first extracted into a thin layer of organic solvent (n‐dodecane) present in the pores of a porous hollow fiber, and then into a μL volume of an organic acceptor (methanol) located inside the lumen of the hollow fiber. Then, the extracting organic phase was injected into the separation column of the high‐performance liquid chromatograph for the analysis of both chromium species. Effective parameters on extraction were optimized using one‐variable‐at‐a‐time method and central composite design. Under optimized conditions, a linear range of 0.25–100 and 0.5–100 μg/L (R 2 > 0.998), the limits of detection of (S/N = 3) 0.08 and 0.1 μg/L and a preconcentration factor of 625 and 556 were achieved for chromium(VI) and chromium(III), respectively. The method was successfully applied to the speciation and determination of chromium species in different water samples and satisfactory results were obtained.  相似文献

Dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) technique was successfully used as a sample preparation method for graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GF AAS). In this extraction method, 500 μL methanol (disperser solvent) containing 34 μL carbon tetrachloride (extraction solvent) and 0.00010 g Salen(N,N′‐bis(salicylidene)ethylenediamine) (chelating agent) was rapidly injected by syringe into the water sample containing cadmium ions (interest analyte). Thereby, a cloudy solution formed. The cloudy state resulted from the formation of fine droplets of carbon tetrachloride, which have been dispersed, in bulk aqueous sample. At this stage, cadmium reacts with Salen(N,N′‐bis(salicylidene)‐ethylenediamine), and therefore, hydrophobic complex forms which is extracted into the fine droplets of carbon tetrachloride. After centrifugation (2 min at 5000 rpm), these droplets were sedimented at the bottom of the conical test tube (25 ± 1 μL). Then a 20 μL of sedimented phase containing enriched analyte was determined by GF AAS. Some effective parameters on extraction and complex formation, such as extraction and disperser solvent type and their volume, extraction time, salt effect, pH and concentration of the chelating agent have been optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the enrichment factor 122 was obtained from only 5.00 mL of water sample. The calibration graph was linear in the range of 2‐21 ng L?1 with a detection limit of 0.5 ng L?1. The relative standard deviation (R.S.D.s) for ten replicate measurements of 20 ng L?1 of cadmium was 2.9%. The relative recoveries of cadmium in tap, sea and rain water samples at a spiking level of 5 and 10 ng L?1 are 99, 94, 97 and 96%, respectively. The characteristics of the proposed method have been compared with cloud point extraction (CPE), on‐line liquid‐liquid extraction, single drop microextraction (SDME), on‐line solid phase extraction (SPE) and co‐precipitation based on bibliographic data. Therefore, DLLME combined with GF AAS is a very simple, rapid and sensitive method, which requires low volume of sample (5.00 mL).  相似文献

The method of liquid‐phase microextraction assisted with voltage was developed and applied on determination of sulfonamides in water samples. Four analytes, such as sulfamethazine, sulfathiazole, sulfadimethoxine, and sulfamethoxazole were extracted from a sample solution at pH 4.5 through a polypropylene membrane of immobilized with 2‐octanone, and then into 25 μL of the acceptor phase of 10 mM sodium hydroxide, and applied voltage of 100 V. Subsequently, the acceptor solution was directly subjected to analysis by LC‐MS or capillary zone electrophoresis. Linearity was obtained in the range of 1.0–25.0 ng mL?1 with R2 > 0.992 in LC‐MS, and 50–1000 ng mL?1 with R2 > 0.995 in capillary zone electrophoresis. The development of VA‐LPME was also applied in analysis of sulfonamides in water samples to evaluate its practical applicability.  相似文献

A three‐phase hollow‐fiber liquid‐phase microextraction based on deep eutectic solvent as acceptor phase was developed and coupled with high‐performance capillary electrophoresis for the simultaneous extraction, enrichment, and determination of main active compounds (hesperidin, honokiol, shikonin, magnolol, emodin, and β,β′‐dimethylacrylshikonin) in a traditional Chinese medicinal formula. In this procedure, two hollow fibers, impregnated with n‐heptanol/n‐nonanol (7:3, v/v) mixture in wall pores as the extraction phase and a combination (9:1, v/v) of methyltrioctylammonium chloride/glycerol (1:3, n/n) and methanol in lumen as the acceptor phase, were immersed in the aqueous sample phase. The target analytes in the sample solution were first extracted through the organic phase, and further back‐extracted to the acceptor phase during the stirring process. Important extraction parameters such as types and composition of extraction solvent and deep eutectic solvent, sample phase pH, stirring rate, and extraction time were investigated and optimized. Under the optimal conditions, detection limits were 0.3–0.8 ng/mL with enrichment factors of 6–114 for the analytes and linearities of 0.001–13 μg/mL (r2 ≥ 0.9901). The developed method was successfully applied to the simultaneous extraction and concentration of the main active compounds in a formula of Zi‐Cao‐Cheng‐Qi decoction with the major advantages of convenience, effectiveness, and environmentally friendliness.  相似文献

An ionic liquid‐based headspace in‐tube liquid‐phase microextraction (IL‐HS‐ITLPME) in‐line coupled with CE is proposed. The method is capable of quantifying trace amounts of phenols in environmental water samples. In the newly developed method, simply by placing a capillary injected with ionic liquids (IL) in the HS above the aqueous sample, volatile phenols were extracted into the IL acceptor phase in the capillary. After extraction, electrophoresis of the phenols in the capillary was carried out. Extraction parameters such as the extraction time, extraction temperature, ionic strength, volume of the sample solution, and IL types were systematically investigated. Under the optimized conditions, enrichment factors for four phenols were from 1510 to 1985. The proposed method provided a good linearity, low limits of detection (below 5.0 ng/mL), and good repeatability of the extractions (RSDs below 6.7%, n = 6). This method was then utilized to analyze two real environmental samples of Xiaoxi Lake and tap water, obtaining acceptable recoveries and precisions. Compared with the usual HS‐ITLPME for CE, IL‐HS‐ITLPME‐CE is a simple, low cost, fast, and environmentally friendly preconcentration technique.  相似文献

In this study, a simple and rapid extraction method based on the application of polypyrrole‐coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles as a magnetic solid‐phase extraction sorbent was successfully developed for the extraction and preconcentration of trace amounts of formaldehyde after derivatization with 2,4‐dinitrophenylhydrazine. The analyses were performed by high‐performance liquid chromatography followed by UV detection. Several variables affecting the extraction efficiency of the formaldehyde, i.e., sample pH, amount of sorbent, salt concentration, extraction time and desorption conditions were investigated and optimized. The best working conditions were as follows: sample pH, 5; amount of sorbent, 40 mg; NaCl concentration, 20% w/v; sample volume, 20 mL; extraction time, 12 min; and 100 μL of methanol for desorption of the formaldehyde within 3 min. Under the optimal conditions, the performance of the proposed method was studied in terms of linear dynamic range (10–500 μg/L), correlation coefficient (R2 ≥ 0.998), precision (RSD% ≤ 5.5) and limit of detection (4 μg/L). Finally, the developed method was successfully applied for extraction and determination of formaldehyde in tap, rain and tomato water samples, and satisfactory results were obtained.  相似文献

Parameters governing the extraction efficiency (such as concentration of ligand, volume of ionic liquid, pH, temperature, extraction time) were optimized and resulted in enrichment factor of 44.4 for silver ion. The calibration curve was linear with correlation coefficient (R2) of 0.999, in the concentration range from 1.0 to 20 ng mL?1. The relative standard deviation is 2.3% (for n = 10), the limit of detection is 0.262 ng mL?1, and relative recoveries in real samples were more than 93%.  相似文献

A novel three‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction was developed based on reverse micelle as extraction solvent and acceptor phase, and compared with conventional two‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction. Both procedures were used in the extraction and concentration of four cinnamic acids (caffeic acid, p‐hydroxycinnamic acid, ferulic acid, and cinnamic acid) in traditional Chinese medicines prior to high‐performance liquid chromatography analysis. Parameters affecting the two procedures were investigated and optimized to obtain the optimum enrichment factors. The mechanism of the developed procedure was explored and elucidated by comparison with conventional two‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction. Under the optimized conditions, the analytes’ enrichment factors were between 50 and 118 for the proposed procedure, and 31–96 for conventional two‐phase mode. Satisfactory linear ranges (r2 ≥ 0.99), detection limits (0.1–0.6 ng/mL), precisions (<9.2%), and accuracies (recoveries: 80–123.1%) were observed for the two procedures. The results showed that the enrichment capacity of the proposed procedure for the cinnamic acids is better than that of conventional two‐phase procedure, and both are eco‐friendly, simple, and effective for the enrichment and detection of cinnamic acids in traditional Chinese medicines.  相似文献

Two different modes of three‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction were studied for the extraction of two herbicides, bensulfuron‐methyl and linuron. In these two modes, the acceptor phases in the lumen of the hollow fiber were aqueous and organic solvents. The extraction and determination were performed using an automated hollow fiber microextraction instrument followed by high‐performance liquid chromatography. For both three‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction modes, the effect of the main parameters on the extraction efficiency were investigated and optimized by central composite design. Under optimal conditions, both modes showed good linearity and repeatability, but the three‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction based on two immiscible organic solvents has a better extraction efficiency and figures of merit. The calibration curves for three‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction with an organic acceptor phase were linear in the range of 0.3–200 and 0.1–150 μg/L and the limits of detection were 0.1 and 0.06 μg/L for bensulfuron‐methyl and linuron, respectively. For the conventional three‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction, the calibration curves were linear in the range of 3.0–250 and 15–400 μg/L and LODs were 1.0 and 5.0 μg/L for bensulfuron‐methyl and linuron, respectively. The real sample analysis was carried out by three‐phase hollow fiber liquid phase microextraction based on two immiscible organic solvents because of its more favorable characteristics.  相似文献
