Using the factorization scheme for the nonleptonic D → > VV
0 weak amplitudes, we classify all diagrams which arise in D → Vγ decays and calculate them with the help of the hybrid model which combines the heavy quark effective theory and the chiral
Lagrangian approach. Thus we determine the long distance contribution to the amplitudes of Cabibbo allowed and Cabibbo suppressed
D → Vγ decays. The calculation of the expected range of the branching ratios of nine different D → Vγ channels is compared with results of other approaches. The present work establishes an increase of the parity violating contribution
in these decays in comparison with previous analyses. 相似文献

Applying the effective Lagrangian method,we study the flavor changing neutral current process b→ sγwithin the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model, where baryon and lepton numbers are local gauge symmetries.Constraints on the parameters are investigated numerically with the experimental data for the branching ratio of B→ X_sγ.Additionally,we present the corrections to direct CP-violation in B→ X_sγ and time-dependent CP-asymmetry in B→K~*γ.With appropriate assumptions on the parameters,we find the direct CP-violation Acp is very small, while one-loop contributions to S_(K~*_γ) can be significant. 相似文献

We show that in the standard model the parametrically leading (by a factor 1/α(s)) contribution to the inclusive CP asymmetry in B→X(s,d)γ decays arises from a long-distance effect in the interference of the electromagnetic dipole amplitude with the amplitude for an up-quark penguin transition accompanied by soft gluon emission. Using model estimates for the associated hadronic parameter Λ(17)(u), we predict a value in the range -0.6% < A(X(s)γ)(SM) < 2.8%. In view of current experimental data, a future precision measurement of the flavor-averaged CP asymmetry would signal the presence of new physics only if a value below -2% was found. A cleaner probe of new physics is offered by the difference of the CP asymmetries in charged versus neutral B→X(s,d)γ decays. 相似文献

Based on a data sample of 384 million BB pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-Ⅱ asymmetric e + e ̄ storage ring,we measure branching fractions,direct CP,isospin and lepton-flavor asymmetries for the rare decays B → K (*) l + l ̄ in two di-lepton mass bins above and below the J/ψ resonance.For the B → K* l + l ̄ decay,we also measure the K* longitudinal polarization fraction and the di-lepton forwardbackward asymmetry. 相似文献

We calculate direct CP-violating rate asymmetries in chargedB→PP andB→VP decays arising from the interference of amplitudes with different strong and CKM phases. The perturbative strong phases develop at order α s from absorptive parts of one-loop matrix elements of the next-to-leading logarithm corrected effective Hamiltonian. CPT constraints are maintained. Based on this model, we find that partial rate asymmetries between charge conjugateB ± decays can be as high as 20% for certain channels with branching ratios in the 10?6 range. Because the $c\bar c$ threshold lies so close to the physical momentum scale, the asymmetries depend sensitively on the model assumptions used to evaluate the imaginary parts of the matrix elements, in particular, on the internal momentum transfer. The charge asymmetries of partial rates would provide unambiguous evidence for direct CP violation. 相似文献

Recently, we have seen interesting progress in the exploration of CP violation in B0
d→π+π-: the measurements of mixing-induced CP violation by the BaBar and Belle collaborations are now in good agreement with each
other, whereas the picture of direct CP violation is still unclear. Using the branching ratio and direct CP asymmetry of B0
d→π-K+, this situation can be clarified. We predict , which favours the BaBar result, and we extract γ=(70.0+3.8
-4.3)°, which agrees with the unitarity triangle fits. Extending our analysis to other B→πK modes and B0
s→K+K- with the help of the SU(3) flavour symmetry and plausible dynamical assumptions, we find that all observables with colour-suppressed
electroweak penguin contributions are measured to be in excellent agreement with the standard model. As far as the ratios
Rc,n of the charged and neutral B→πK branching ratios are concerned, which are sizeably affected by electroweak penguin contributions,
our standard-model predictions have almost unchanged central values but significantly reduced errors. Since the new data have
moved quite a bit towards these results, the “B→πK puzzle” for the CP conserving quantities has been significantly reduced.
However, the mixing-induced CP violation of B0
d→π0KS does look puzzling; if confirmed by future measurements, this effect could be accommodated through a modified electroweak
penguin sector with a large CP violating new-physics phase. Finally, we point out that the established difference between
the direct CP asymmetries of B±→π0K± and Bd→π∓K± appears to be generated by hadronic and not by new physics. 相似文献

Recently, the first evidence for the decay B s 0 → μ + μ ? has been announced by the LHCb Collaboration and the measured branching ratio B( s 0 → μ +) = (3.2 ?1.2 +1.5 ) × 10?9 is in good agreement with the standard model (SM) expectation. It has also reported an upper limit for B(B d 0 → μ + μ ?) < 9.4 × 10?10 at 95% confidence level. In this paper, we study the B s 0 → μ + μ ? and B d 0 → μ + μ ? rare decays in flavor-changing Z′ model. Our estimated branching ratios are enhanced from their SM values and provide signals for new physics. 相似文献

We report a first measurement of inclusive B→Xsη decays, where Xs is a charmless state with unit strangeness. The measurement is based on a pseudoinclusive reconstruction technique and uses a sample of 657×10(6)BB pairs accumulated with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- collider. For MXs < 2.6 GeV/c2, we measure a branching fraction of [26.1±3.0(stat)-2.1+1.9(syst)-7.1+4.0(model)]×10(-5) and a direct CP asymmetry of ACP=-0.13±0.04-0.03+0.02. Over half of the signal occurs in the range MXs > 1.8 GeV/c2. 相似文献

It was found that the vector meson pair from the pseudoscalar decays can form an entangled state. In this work we give out detailed explanations on the polarization correlation of the two entangled vector mesons. It is demonstrated that an experimental test of the Clauser-Horne inequality can be carried out through measuring the azimuthal distribution of four pseudoscalars in the cascade decay ηc→ VV →(PP)(PP),and the measurement of this process is feasible with the current running experiments in tau-charm factory. Moreover,a brief discussion on the polarization correlation of the two vector mesons from B → VV decays is also presented. 相似文献

The general structure is obtained of the polarization effects for the single-photon mechanism in the decays AB+++–.This structure takes into account possible violations of the P- and T-invariances in the electromagnetic interaction of hadrons. Use is made only of the principal properties of the electrodynamics of hadrons, such as the conservation of the hadronic electromagnetic current and the symmetry properties of the current under spatial and temporal reflections.Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Fizika, No. 4, pp. 87–91, April, 1987. 相似文献
