An extension of the Skyrme-Hartree-Fock formalism is proposed for calculating Λ binding energies (BΛ) in hypernuclei throughout the periodic table. The calculation includes the self-consistent nuclear polarization by the Λ hyperon. Realistic estimates for ground state BΛ's are obtained with a simple effective ΛN force and are compared with a Λ-nucleus potential model. The Λ particle excitation spectra have also been calculated. They are discussed in the context of strangeness analog state formation and the emphasis is put on the symmetry between Λ and nuclear states.  相似文献

Starting from an effective Skyrme interaction we study the effects of the phonon-phonon coupling on the M1 transitions between quadrupole states. The finite rank separable approach for the quasiparticle random phase approximation is used. Choosing as an example the nucleus 94Mo, we demonstrate an ability of the method to describe the properties of the low-lying states.  相似文献

We use the quasiparticle random phase approximation to study properties of the low-lying 2+ states in the even-even nuclei around 132Sn. Starting from a Skyrme interaction in the particle-hole channel and a density-dependent zero-range interaction in the particle-particle channel, the calculation within the finite-rank separable approximation for the residual interaction is performed.  相似文献

The Skyrme interaction is shown to lead to significant simplifications in generator coordinate calculations. As an illustration, giant resonances are calculated using pure oscillator wave functions. We present results for monopole, dipole and quadrupole isoscalar and isovector modes using two different Skyrme forces, SIII and SIV. A good agreement with available experimental data is obtained.  相似文献

The variable moment of inertia (VMI) model proposed by Holmberg and Lipas has been shown to be a special case of the VMI model of Mariscottiet al. The solution of Mariscotti’s model is expressed in terms of hypergeometric functions, which directly give the rotational energies or their expansions in terms of the quantityF(F+1), whereF is the total angular momentum. The present way of looking at the VMI model also tells us how to write the general dependence of the vibrational energy and the moment of inertia on the energyE J.  相似文献

We perform a self-consistent cranking calculation of intrinsic states of IBM-1 and IBM-2 for three reasons: (a) to study the effect of Coriolis and centrifugal forces in the IBM; (b) to derive approximate analytic formulae for the energy in some cases where the IBM hamiltonian does not have dynamical symmetry; (c) to study the dependence of the moments of inertia on the variables of the intrinsic IBM states. Choosing a coordinate system where the quadrupole tensor is diagonal reduces the number of variables considerably. Among other applications of our formalism we study the transition between the symmetries SU(3) and SU1(3) in the IBM-2 hamiltonian H = −(Qπ + Qν) · (Qπ + Qν). We find that the moments of inertia and the asymmetry variables show a kind of phase transition, as a function of the parameter χν occurring in Qν.  相似文献

The influences of σ* and Φ mesons,temperature and coupling constants of nucleons on the moment of inertia of the proto neutron star(PNS) are examined in the framework of relativistic mean field theory for the baryon octet {n,p,Λ,Σ+,Σ0,Σ+,Ξ-,Ξ0} system.It is found that,compared with that without considering σ* and Φ mesons,the moment of inertia decreases.It is also found that the higher the temperature,the larger the incompressibility and symmetry energy coeficient,and the larger the moment of inertia of a PNS.The influence of temperature and coupling constants of the nucleons on the moment of inertia of a PNS is larger than that of the σ* and Φ mesons.  相似文献

An original method for calculating the moment of inertia of the collective rotation of a nucleus on the basis of the cranking model with the harmonic-oscillator Hamiltonian at arbitrary frequencies of rotation and finite temperature is proposed. In the adiabatic limit, an oscillating chemical-potential dependence of the moment of inertia is obtained by means of analytic calculations. The oscillations of the moment of inertia become more pronounced as deformations approach the spherical limit and decrease exponentially with increasing temperature.  相似文献

The influences of σ^* and Ф mesons, temperature and coupling constants of nucleons on the moment of inertia of the proto neutron star (PNS) are examined in the framework of relativistic mean field theory for the baryon octet {n, p, A, ∑^-, ∑^,∑^+,^-, ^0} system. It is found that, compared with that without considering σ^* and Ф mesons, the moment of inertia decreases. It is also found that the higher the temperature, the larger the incompressibility and symmetry energy coefficient, and the larger the moment of inertia of a PNS. The influence of temperature and coupling constants of the nucleons on the moment of inertia of a PNS is larger than that of the σ^* and Ф mesons.  相似文献

Measurements have been made, by means of mica nuclear track detectors, of the distributions in tracklength and the angular distributions with respect to the beam direction for the fission fragments from the systems Ag, Te and Au plus 80-MeV alpha particles. Analysis of the tracklength distributions indicated that, in each case, full momentum transfer from the incident projectile characterized those interactions that led to fission. Angular-momentum dependent statistical model calculations for the decay of the respective compound nuclei then provided information on fission-evaporation competition in the de-excitation processes, and in particular the distribution in nuclear temperature and angular momentum at which the fission events took place. This information was then employed in the analysis of the measured fission fragment angular distributions, and to extractK 0 2 values. From these, the moments of inertia of the fission saddle point shapes were calculated, and the results are in good agreement with theoretical estimates.  相似文献

High-spin states in 197Bi were studied with the AFRODITE γ-ray array at iThemba LABS using the 181Ta( 22Ne, 6n) reaction at a beam energy of 125 MeV. A new shears band was found and linked to the low-lying states in 197Bi. Its dynamic moment of inertia, , is considerably larger than the of the shears bands in the neighbouring Pb isotopes. This is probably a result of the involvement of an additional high-K h9/2 proton orbital.  相似文献

The potential between heavy or medium heavy spherical nuclei is derived on the basis of the proximity approximation and the assumption of undisturbed spherical density distributions. The HF-theory with Skyrme forces is used to write the energy as a functional of the density. The resulting potential consists of an isoscalar and a (much smaller) isospin-dependent part. Depending on the choice of the Skyrme parameters calculated interaction between heavy ions are close to the double folding potential or to the proximity potential. Our interaction can be factorized with a very good approximation into scaling factors and universal functions of the proximity distance in units of the surface thickness.  相似文献

We analyse the momentum and density dependence of the ph interaction in self-consistent RPA calculations of electromagnetic reactions with Skyrme forces. First, we calculate the V00ph and V01ph spin-isospin components in nuclear matter for an SK3 interaction. At the nuclear surface, they have decreasing values with increasing q-values up to momenta q=3 fm−1. As a second point, we show that the predictions of the 12C(e, e') charge response at 400 MeV/c remain practically unchanged when the zero-range quadratic momentum dependence of the SK3 interaction is replaced by the momentum dependence associated with a Yukawa short-ranged force.  相似文献
