This paper concerns the construction of quadrature rules based on the use of suitable refinable quasi-interpolatory operators introduced here. Convergence analysis of the obtained quadrature rules is developed and numerical examples are included. 相似文献

The regularity of refinable functions is an important issue in all multiresolution analysis and has a strong impact on applications of wavelets to image processing, geometric and numerical solutions of elliptic partial differential equations. The purpose of this paper is to characterize the regularity of refinable functions with exponentially decaying masks and a dilation matrix whose eigenvalues have the same modulus. The main results of this paper are really extensions of some results in Cohen et al. (1999) [5], Jia (1999) [17] and Lorentz and Oswald (2000) [28]. 相似文献

Under fairly mild measurability and integrability conditions on operator-valued kernels, boundedness results for integral operators on Bochner spaces Lp(X) are given. In particular, these results are applied to convolutions operators. 相似文献

We show how to compute the modified moments of a refinable weight function directly from its mask in O(N2n) rational operations, where N is the desired number of moments and n the length of the mask. Three immediate applications of such moments are:
- • the expansion of a refinable weight function as a Legendre series;
- • the generation of the polynomials orthogonal with respect to a refinable weight function;
- • the calculation of Gaussian quadrature formulas for refinable weight functions.

We consider the classes of “Grothendieck-integral” (G-integral) and “Pietsch-integral” (P-integral) linear and multilinear operators (see definitions below), and we prove that a multilinear operator between Banach spaces is G-integral (resp. P-integral) if and only if its linearization is G-integral (resp. P-integral) on the injective tensor product of the spaces, together with some related results concerning certain canonically associated linear operators. As an application we give a new proof of a result on the Radon-Nikodym property of the dual of the injective tensor product of Banach spaces. Moreover, we give a simple proof of a characterization of the G-integral operators on C(K,X) spaces and we also give a partial characterization of P-integral operators on C(K,X) spaces. 相似文献

In this paper, the Lipschitz continuity of refinable functions related to the general acceptable dilations on the Heisenberg group will be investigated in terms of the uniform joint spectral radius. We also give an investigation of the refinable functions in the generalized Lipschitz spaces related to a kind of special acceptable dilations. 相似文献

The n-point correlation functions introduced by Bloch and Okounkov have already found several geometric connections and algebraic generalizations. In this note we formulate a q,t-deformation of this n-point function. The key operator used in our formulation arises from the theory of Macdonald polynomials and affords a vertex operator interpretation. We obtain closed formulas for the n-point functions when n = 1,2 in terms of the basic hypergeometric functions. We further generalize the q,t-deformed n-point function to more general vertex operators. 相似文献

A normalized univalent function f is called Ma-Minda starlike or convex if zf′(z)/f(z)?φ(z) or 1+zf″(z)/f′(z)?φ(z) where φ is a convex univalent function with φ(0)=1. The class of Ma-Minda convex functions is shown to be closed under certain operators that are generalizations of previously studied operators. Analogous inclusion results are also obtained for subclasses of starlike and close-to-convex functions. Connections with various earlier works are made. 相似文献

The main object of the present paper is to discuss some extensions of univalence conditions for a family of integral operators. Several other closely-related results are also considered. Many known univalence conditions are shown to follow upon specializing the parameters involved in our main results. 相似文献

In this paper, we construct the function u in L2(Bn, dA) which is unbounded on any neighborhood of each boundary point of Bn such that Tu is the Schatten p-class (0 〈 p 〈 ∞) operator on pluriharmonic Bergman space h2(Bn, dA) for several complex variables. In addition, we also discuss the compactness of Toeplitz operators with L1 symbols. 相似文献

A result of Godefroy and Shapiro states that the convolution operators on the space of entire functions on Cn, which are not multiples of identity, are hypercyclic. Analogues of this result have appeared for some spaces of holomorphic functions on a Banach space. In this work, we define the space holomorphic functions associated to a sequence of spaces of polynomials and determine conditions on this sequence that assure hypercyclicity of convolution operators. Some known results come out as particular cases of this setting. We also consider holomorphic functions associated to minimal ideals of polynomials and to polynomials of the Schatten-von Neumann class. 相似文献

Refinable function vectors with arbitrary support are considered. In particular, necessary conditions for stability are given and a characterization of the symbol associated with a stable refinable function vector in terms of the transfer operator is provided: this is a generalization of Gundy’s theorem to the vector case. The proof adapts the tools provided in [S. Saliani, On stability and orthogonality of refinable functions, Appl. Comput. Harmon. Anal. 21 (2006) 254–261]. Though complications arise from noncommuting matrix products, the fundamental ideas are the same. 相似文献

In this paper, we shall study the solutions of functional equations of the form Φ =∑α∈Zsa(α)Φ(M·-α), where Φ = (φ1, . . . , φr)T is an r×1 column vector of functions on the s-dimensional Euclidean space, a:=(a(α))α∈Zs is an exponentially decaying sequence of r×r complex matrices called refinement mask and M is an s×s integer matrix such that limn→∞M-n=0. We are interested in the question, for a mask a with exponential decay, if there exists a solution Φ to the functional equation with each function φj,j=1, . . . ,r, belonging to L2(Rs) and having exponential decay in some sense? Our approach will be to consider the convergence of vector cascade algorithms in weighted L2 spaces. The vector cascade operator Qa,M associated with mask a and matrix M is defined by Qa,Mf:=∑α∈Zsa(α)f (M·-α),f= (f1, . . . , fr)T∈(L2,μ(Rs))r.The iterative scheme (Qan,Mf)n=1,2,... is called a vector cascade algorithm or a vector subdivision scheme. The purpose of this paper is to provide some conditions for the vector cascade algorithm to converge in (L2,μ(Rs))r , the weighted L2 space. Inspired by some ideas in [Jia,R.Q.,Li,S.: Refinable functions with exponential decay: An approach via cascade algorithms. J. Fourier Anal. Appl., 17, 1008-1034 (2011)], we prove that if the vector cascade algorithm associated with a and M converges in (L2(Rs))r, then its limit function belongs to (L2,μ(Rs))r for some μ0. 相似文献

This short note presents four examples of compactly supported symmetric refinable componentwise polynomial functions: (i) a componentwise constant interpolatory continuous refinable function and its derived symmetric tight wavelet frame; (ii) a componentwise constant continuous orthonormal and interpolatory refinable function and its associated symmetric orthonormal wavelet basis; (iii) a differentiable symmetric componentwise linear polynomial orthonormal refinable function; (iv) a symmetric refinable componentwise linear polynomial which is interpolatory and differentiable. 相似文献
