In this paper we investigate differential equations on certain time scales with transition conditions (DETC) on the basis of reduction to the impulsive differential equations (IDE). DETC are in some sense more general than dynamic equations on time scales [M. Bohner, A. Peterson, Dynamic equations on time scales, in: An Introduction With Applications, Birkhäuser Boston, Inc., Boston, MA, 2001, p. x+358; V. Laksmikantham, S. Sivasundaram, B. Kaymakcalan, Dynamical Systems on Measure Chains, in: Math. and its Appl., vol. 370, Kluwer Academic, Dordrecht, 1996]. The basic properties of linear systems, the existence and stability of periodic solutions, and almost periodic solutions are considered. Abstract

This paper is concerned with almost periodic solutions for nonlinear non-instantaneous impulsive differential equations with variable structure. With the help of the notation of non-instantaneous impulsive Cauchy matrix, mild sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the existence, uniqueness of asymptotically stable almost periodic solutions. Both example and numerical simulation are given to illustrate our effectiveness of the above results. As one expects, the results presented here have extended and improved some previous results for instantaneous impulsive differential equations.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and study a competitive system with Beddington–DeAngelis type functional response in periodic pulsed chemostat conditions. We investigate the subsystem with substrate and one of the microorganisms and study the stability of the periodic solutions, which are the boundary periodic solution of the system. The stability analysis of the boundary periodic solution yields an invasion threshold. By use of standard techniques of bifurcation theory, we prove that above this threshold there are periodic oscillations in substrate and one of the microorganism. Further, we prove that the system is permanent if the impulsive period less than some critical value. Therefore, our results are valuable for the manufacture of products by genetically altered organisms.  相似文献

In this paper, we established the exploitation of impulsive harvesting single autonomous population model by Logistic equation. By some special methods, we analysis the impulsive harvesting population equation and obtain existence, the explicit expression and global attractiveness of impulsive periodic solutions for constant yield harvest and proportional harvest. Then, we choose the maximum sustainable yield as management objective, and investigate the optimal impulsive harvesting policies respectively. The optimal harvest effort that maximizes the sustainable yield per unit time, the corresponding optimal population levels are determined. At last, we point out that the continuous harvesting policy is superior to the impulsive harvesting policy, however, the latter is more beneficial in realistic operation.  相似文献

A new class of differential equations with state-dependent piecewise constant argument is introduced. It is an extension of systems with piecewise constant argument. Fundamental theoretical results for the equations—the existence and uniqueness of solutions, the existence of periodic solutions, and the stability of the zero solution—are obtained. In this paper, we get the existence of periodic and homoclinic solutions for a class of asymptotically linear or sublinear Hamiltonian systems with impulsive conditions via variational methods. However, without impulses, there is no homoclinic or periodic solution for the system considered in this paper. Moreover, our results can be used to study the existence of periodic and homoclinic solutions of difference equations.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the existence and multiplicity of classical solutions for a second-order impulsive differential equation with periodic boundary conditions. By using a variational method and critical point theory, we give some new criteria to guarantee that the impulsive problem has at least one solution, two solutions and infinitely many solutions when the parameter pair (c,λ) lies in different intervals, respectively. In this paper, according to integrated pest management principles, a class of Lotka-Volterra predator-prey model with state dependent impulsive effects is presented. In this model, the control strategies by releasing natural enemies and spraying pesticide at different thresholds are considered. The sufficient conditions for the existence and stability of the positive order-1 periodic solution are given by the Poincaré map and the properties of the LambertW function.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the existence of almost periodic solutions of a delay logistic model with fixed moments of impulsive perturbations. By using a comparison theorem and constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, a set of sufficient conditions for the existence and global attractivity of a unique positive almost periodic solution is obtained. The dynamics of a predator–prey model with impulsive state feedback control, which is described by an autonomous system with impulses, is studied. The sufficient conditions of existence and stability of semi-trivial solution and positive period-1 solution are obtained by using the Poincaré map and analogue of the Poincaré criterion. The qualitative analysis shows that the positive period-1 solution bifurcates from the semi-trivial solution through a fold bifurcation. The bifurcation diagrams of periodic solutions are obtained by using the Poincaré map, and it is shown that a chaotic solution is generated via a cascade of period-doubling bifurcations.  相似文献

The geometric method of involving the relative positions of the nullcline planes is used to analyze the global asymptotic behavior of solutions of autonomous Lotka-Volterra competitive systems. Some observations about limit sets are made and, based on these observations, new criteria are established for the system to have a single point global repellor. In this paper, a periodic impulsive delay single population system with hereditary effect is established. The constant impulse is realized at fixed moments of time. By using the comparison principle of impulsive differential equations and analysis techniques, the permanence of the system is obtained. In this paper, a predator–prey system with stocking of prey and harvesting of predator impulsively is studied. Here, the prey population is stocked with a constant quantity and the predator population is harvested at a rate proportional to the species itself at fixed moments. Under some conditions, the existence and global asymptotic stability of the boundary periodic solution are proved, which implies that the system will be extinct; and given some different restrictions, ultimate positive upper and lower bounds of all solutions are obtained, showing the system being permanent. Averaging methods are used to compare solutions of two-dimensional systems of ordinary differential equations with constant or periodic forcing. The asymptotic separation of solutions of the periodically forced equations from the solutions of the constantly forced equations is proportional to the L1 norm of the periodic forcing terms. This result is applied to population models of Kolmogorov-type with climax fitness functions where forcing represents stocking or harvesting of a population. The asymptotic behavior of such systems may be controlled, to some extent, by varying the period and/or amplitude of the forcing functions.  相似文献
