Treatment of CrCl3 with sodium octahydrotriborate, NaB3H8, affords a thermally unstable purple liquid thought to be a chromium(III) hydride of stoichiometry CrH(B3H8)2. This hydride converts rapidly at room temperature to the chromium(II) complex Cr(B3H8)2, which adopts a square-planar structure in which four hydrogen atoms form the coordination sphere of the chromium atom. This chromium(II) species forms six-coordinate Lewis base adducts Cr(B3H8)2L2, where L is Et2O, thf, or PMe3; the first two of these adopt trans geometries, whereas the latter is cis. Volatile Cr(B3H8)2 is the first homoleptic transition metal complex of the octahydrotriborate anion, and it readily forms CrB2 thin films by CVD at 250 degrees C.  相似文献

Solvate-free sodium octahydrotriborate, NaB3H8, is prepared on a 20 gram scale from sodium amalgam and diborane in diethyl ether. This substance, which is chemically related to borohydride-based compounds being investigated as hydrogen storage materials, is also useful for the preparation of transition-metal complexes bearing B3H8 ligands. The new compounds CpV(B(3)H(8))(2), CpCr(B(3)H(8))(2), and Cp(2)Co(2)(B(6)H(14)) have been synthesized by treating the pentamethylcyclopentadienyl complexes [CpVCl(2)](3), [CpCrCl(2)](2), and [CpCoCl](2) with NaB(3)H(8). X-ray crystallography shows that CpV(B(3)H(8))(2) and CpCr(B(3)H(8))(2) have the same ligand sets but different molecular structures: the vanadium compound contains two bidentate B(3)H(8) ligands (i.e., bound to the metal center via two vicinal hydrogen atoms), whereas the chromium compound has one bidentate B(3)H(8) ligand and one B(3)H(8) ligand bound in an unprecedented fashion via two geminal hydrogen atoms. The "gem-bound" B(3)H(8) group itself has an atypical structure consisting of a BH(2)-BH(2)-BH(3) triangle with one additional hydrogen atom bridging the unique BH(2)-BH(2) edge. The B-B distances are nearly identical within experimental error at 1.790(5), 1.792(5), and 1.786(6) Angstrom. The relationship between the electronic and molecular structures of the V and Cr compounds is briefly discussed. The structure of Cp(2)Co(2)(B(6)H(14)) can be viewed in two different ways: as a dicobalt complex in which two CpCo units are each bound to four adjacent boron atoms of an S-shaped B(6)H(14) ligand, or as an eight-vertex hypho cluster compound. In the former case, the B(6)H(14) ligand is best regarded as a dianionic bi-borallyl group H(3)B(mu-H)BH(mu-H)BHBH(mu-H)BH(mu-H)BH(3) in which one hydrogen at each end of the chain is involved in an agostic interaction. From a cluster point of view, the structure of Cp(2)Co(2)(B(6)H(14)) can be generated by removing three adjacent high-connectivity vertices from the eleven-vertex closo polyhedron. The Co-B distances vary from 2.008(5) to 2.183(4) Angstrom, and the B-B distances within in the S-shaped chain range from 1.734(8) to 1.889(6) Angstrom. Finally, a new synthesis of the known molybdenum compound Cp(2)Mo(2)(B(5)H(9)) is described; its structure as established by X-ray crystallography closely resembles that of the previously described (C(5)H(4)Me) analogue.  相似文献

A metathesis reaction between unsolvated NaB(3)H(8) and NH(4)Cl provides a simple and high-yield synthesis of NH(4)B(3)H(8). Structure determination through X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis reveals weak N-H(δ+)---H(δ-)-B interaction in NH(4)B(3)H(8) and strong N-H(δ+)---H(δ-)-B interaction in NH(4)B(3)H(8)·18-crown-6·THF adduct. Pyrolysis of NH(4)B(3)H(8) leads to the formation of hydrogen gas with appreciable amounts of other volatile boranes below 160 °C. Hydrolysis experiments show that upon addition of catalysts, NH(4)B(3)H(8) releases up to 7.5 materials wt % hydrogen.  相似文献

Al-and Y-Al-citric complexes have been synthesized in ethylene glycol medium at conditions close to the ones used in polymerized complex method and their composition and spectral characteristics have been studied. Proofs have been found for the formation in the bimetallic system of a mixed-metal Al-Y-complex. Doubly ionized and esterified ligands take place in the Al-complex. All of the ligands forming Y-Al-complex are mono-or doubly esterified. Deprotonation of the alcoholic group takes place in the formation of the mixed-metal complex. Both complexes contain adduct-bonded ethylene glycol. Heating of the bimetallic complex or of the polyester resin formed leads to not phase-homogeneous YAlO3-along with cubic YAlO3, its orthorhombic modification as well as Y4Al l2O9 are found by X-ray diffractometry.  相似文献

A mixture of the tungsten allylimido complexes Cl(4)(RCN)W(NC(3)H(5)) (3a, R = CH(3) and 3b, R = Ph) was tested as a single-source precursor for growth of tungsten nitride (WN(x)) or carbonitride (WN(x)C(y)) thin films. Films deposited from 3a,b below 550 degrees C contained amorphous beta-WN(x)C(y), while those deposited at higher temperatures were polycrystalline. Film growth rates from 3a,b ranged from 5 to 10 A/min over a temperature range of 450-650 degrees C, and the apparent activation energy for film growth was 0.15 eV. A plot of the E(a) values for deposition from Cl(4)(RCN)W(NR') [R' = Ph, (i)Pr, allyl] against the N-C imido bond strengths for the analogous amines R'NH(2) is linear, implicating cleavage of the N-C bond as the rate-determining step in film growth. The correlation of mass spectral fragmentation patterns for Cl(4)(RCN)W(NR') with film properties such as nitrogen content supports the significance of facile N-C bond cleavage in film growth.  相似文献

The title compounds of the type R-C(=NiPr) (-N′ iPrSiMe3) (with R = Me or nBu) as potential chemical vapor deposition (CVD) precursors have been synthesized and characterized by 1H, 13C, and 29Si NMR spectroscopy as well as by EI-MS and elemental analysis where necessary. Thermal properties, including stability, volatility, transport behavior, and vapor pressure, were evaluated by thermogravimetric analysis to confirm that they are suitable for the CVD procedure. Deposition was accomplished in a hot wall CVD reactor system, which qualitatively verified the ability of these compounds as CVD precursors.  相似文献

The series of adducts of magnesium beta-diketonates with diamimes namely Mg(thd)2(tmeda) 1 and four new complexes Mg(thd)2(tmpda) 2, Mg(thd)2(pda) 3, Mg(ptac)2(tmeda) 4, Mg(tfac)2(tmeda) 5 [beta-diketonates = R1C(O)CHC(O)R2: thd (R1 = R2 =  t Bu), ptac (R1 =  t Bu, R2 = CF3), tfac (R1 = Me, R2 = CF3); diamines = R2N(CH2) n NR2: tmeda (n = 2, R = Me), tmpda (n = 3, R = Me), pda (n = 3, R = H)] were synthesized in order to investigate the influence of both ligand types on the thermochemical properties of these compounds. The thermal behavior of the complexes in the condensed phase was investigated by thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry; the thermodynamic parameters of phase transitions were determined. The saturated vapor pressure of solid complexes Mg(thd)2(tmeda) and Mg(tfac)2(tmeda) were measured by the transmission method giving the enthalpies and entropies of sublimation processes. The reliable thermodynamic data for compound Mg(thd)2(tmeda) were obtained with the assistance of X-ray diffraction and the static method of saturated and unsaturated vapor pressure measurements.  相似文献

Thirteen 3-amino-3,4-dihydro-2(1H)-quinazolinones have been synthesized from ethyl chloroformate and o-aminobenzylhydrazines. The latter compounds were obtained from the metal hydride reduction of either o-aminobenzhydrazides or o-acylaniline hydrazones. All compounds were evaluated in mice in the maximal electroshock (MES) seizure and pentylenetetrazole (sc Met) seizure threshold tests for anticonvulsant activity and in the rotorod test to determine neurotoxicity. Five of the compounds showed activity in one or both tests at a dose of 300 mg/kg or lower. The most active compound is 3-dimethylamino-3,4-dihydro-2(1H)-quinazolinone.  相似文献

Synthesis of stable copper(II) complexes with reduced dextran derivatives can be realized with low molar polysaccharides of an average molar mass 5000 g mol−1. A copper(II) content of 4–20% is achieved at pH 7–8 and at the boiling point. Copper(II) complex formation with dextran was analyzed by spectrophotometric VIS methods. The IR spectra of copper(II) complexes with dextran were analyzed to find the most stable conformation of the glucopyranose unit. The ESR parameters of the spectrum indicate a square-planar coordination of the Cu(II) ion with four oxygen ligand atoms in the same plane. Copper deficiency causes a number of pathological states [1]. In both human and veterinary medicine, commercial copper preparations based on dextran and its derivatives are used for such purposes [2]. According to the literature data, dextran has the ability of complex formation with various biometals (Zn, Fe, Co, Ca, and Mg) [3–6]. Iron complexes with different polysaccharides have special importance and they have been described in detail [7]. Synthetic procedures for the complex formation of Cu(II) with polysaccharides, including dextran, are described in scientific and patent literature [8]. However, literature data on the complex formation possibility of the Cu(II) ion with dextran derivatives are scarce. The text was submitted by the authors in English. Summary Two novel charge-transfer (CT) heteropoly complexes, (C8H12N2)5H7PMo12O40 (1) and (C8H12N2)3H3-PMo12O40·5H2O (2), prepared by reacting p-Me2NC6H4NH2 with the four-electron heteropoly blue H7PMo12O40·12H2O and heteropoly acid H3PMo12O40· xH2O, respectively, were characterized by elemental analysis, and u.v., i.r., XPS and e.s.r. spectroscopies. A sizable electron-transfer interaction occurs within the product molecules and the heteropoly anions retain their Keggin structure. Their third-order optical non-linearity coefficients were measured using the Z-scan technique at a concentration of 4.68 × 10−6 mol dm−3 for (1) and 2.79 × 10−6 mol dm−3 for (2), with I 0 = 2.38 × 1013 w m−2 and λ = 532nm. The |χ(3)| for (1) is 2.61 × 10−10 esu and |χ(3)| for (2) is 1.05 × 10−10 esu.  相似文献

The title compounds were prepared by the aldol condensation of 3,4-dibenzyloxy-2-fluorobenzaldehyde and 4,5-dibenzyloxy-2-fluorobenzaldehyde with the oxazolidinone 2, a chiral glycine equivalent. Removal of the chiral auxiliary and blocking groups produced the target amino acids 2-fluoro- and 6-fluoro-(2S,3R)-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)serine (1b and 1c) in >98% ee.  相似文献

The beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CD) inclusion complex containing di(8-hydroxyquinoline)magnesium was prepared. The product was characterized by NMR, IR, differential thermal thermogravimetric analysis (DT-TGA), spectrofluorimetry, and elemental analysis, indicating the formation of inclusion complex in which the quinoline rings of the guest were encapsulated within the beta-CD cavities. The Job's method provided 2:1 stoichiometry for the inclusion complex between beta-CD and di(8-hydroxyquinoline)magnesium. The association constant calculated with the modified Benesi-Hildebrand equation at 25 degrees C was determined. And the mean association constant was 3577 (L/mol)2, R.S.D. was 2.58%. The thermal stability and solubility of di(8-hydroxyquinoline)magnesium were improved when forming inclusion complex.  相似文献

Some copper(I) complexes of the formula [Cu(L)(PPh3)2]X (1-4) [where L = 2-phenyl-3-(benzylamino)-1,2-dihydroquinazolin-4(3H)-one; PPh3 = triphenylphosphine; X = Cl, NO3, ClO4 and BF4] have been prepared and characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis and 1H NMR spectral studies. The representative complex of the series 4 has been characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction which reveal that in the complex the central copper(I) ion assumes the irregular distorted-tetrahedral geometry. Cyclic voltammetry of the complexes indicate a quasireversible redox behavior corresponding to Cu(II)/Cu(I) couple. All the complexes exhibit intraligand (π → π) fluorescence with high quantum yield in dichloromethane solution.  相似文献
