Let ℐ(ℝn) be the Schwartz class on ℝn and ℐ(ℝn) be the collection of functions ϕ ∊ ℐ(ℝn) with additional property that
for all multiindices γ. Let (ℐ(ℝn))′ and (ℐ(ℝn))′ be their dual spaces, respectively. In this paper, it is proved that atomic Hardy spaces defined via (ℐ(ℝn))′ and (ℐ(ℝn))′ coincide with each other in some sense. As an application, we show that under the condition that the Littlewood-Paley function of f belongs to L p(ℝn) for some p ∊ (0,1], the condition f ∊ (ℐ(ℝn))′ is equivalent to that f ∊ (ℐ(ℝn))′ and f vanishes weakly at infinity. We further discuss some new classes of distributions defined via ℐ(ℝn) and ℐ(ℝn), also including their corresponding Hardy spaces.   相似文献

In this paper the Cauchy problem for a class of nonhomogeneous Navier-Stokes equations in the infinite cylinderS T =ℝn x [0,T) is considered. We construct a unique local solution inL q([0,T);L p (ℝ n )) for a class of nonhomogeneous Navier-Stokes equations provided that initial data are inL r (ℝ n ), wherer>1 is an exponent determined by the structure of nonlinear terms andp,q are such that 2/q=n(1/r−1/p). Meanwhile under suitable conditions we also obtain thatu(t)L q([0,∞];L p (ℝ n )) provided that initial data are sufficiently small. Let Γ ⊂ ℝd be a bounded strictly convex surface. We prove that the number kn(Γ) of points of Γ that lie on the lattice satisfies the following estimates: lim inf kn(Γ)/nd−2 < ∞ for d ≥ 3 and lim inf kn(Γ)/log n < ∞ for d = 2. Let L be the infinitesimal generator of an analytic semigroup on L2 (Rn) with suitable upper bounds on its heat kernels. Assume that L has a bounded holomorphic functional calculus on L2(Rn). In this paper,we define the Littlewood- Paley g function associated with L on Rn × Rn, denoted by GL(f)(x1, x2), and decomposition, we prove that ‖SL(f)‖p ≈‖GL(f)‖p ≈‖f‖p for 1 < p <∞.  相似文献

A refinable function φ(x):ℝn→ℝ or, more generally, a refinable function vector Φ(x)=[φ1(x),...,φr(x)]T is an L1 solution of a system of (vector-valued) refinement equations involving expansion by a dilation matrix A, which is an expanding integer matrix. A refinable function vector is called orthogonal if {φj(x−α):α∈ℤn, 1≤j≤r form an orthogonal set of functions in L2(ℝn). Compactly supported orthogonal refinable functions and function vectors can be used to construct orthonormal wavelet and multiwavelet bases of L2(ℝn). In this paper we give a comprehensive set of necessary and sufficient conditions for the orthogonality of compactly supported refinable functions and refinable function vectors.  相似文献

The aim of this work is to investigate the integrability properties of the maximal operator Mu,associated with a non-doubling measure μ defined on Rn. We start by establishing for a wide class of radial and increasing measures μ that Mu is bounded on all the spaces Lu^p(R^n),P〉1.Also,we show that there is a radial and increasing measure p for which Mμ does not map Lμ^p(R^n) into weak Lμ^p(R^n),1≤p〈∞.  相似文献

We construct an unconditional basis in the Banach space L p(Ω) for p 1 by using the refinement equation and the basic operation of translation and scale, where Ω is a compact subset in ℝn. We also give an algorithm of how to construct an unconditional basis in L pp). In this paper, we present a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of solutions in a Sobolev space Wpk(ℝs) (1≤p≤∞) to a vector refinement equation with a general dilation matrix. The criterion is constructive and can be implemented. Rate of convergence of vector cascade algorithms in a Sobolev space Wpk(ℝs) will be investigated. When the dilation matrix is isotropic, a characterization will be given for the Lp (1≤p≤∞) critical smoothness exponent of a refinable function vector without the assumption of stability on the refinable function vector. As a consequence, we show that if a compactly supported function vector φ∈Lp(ℝs) (φ∈C(ℝs) when p=∞) satisfies a refinement equation with a finitely supported matrix mask, then all the components of φ must belong to a Lipschitz space Lip(ν,Lp(ℝs)) for some ν>0. This paper generalizes the results in R.Q. Jia, K.S. Lau and D.X. Zhou (J. Fourier Anal. Appl. 7 (2001) 143–167) in the univariate setting to the multivariate setting. We introduce a new method to construct large classes of minimally supported frequency (MSF) wavelets of the Hardy space H 2 (ℝ)and symmetric MSF wavelets of L 2 (ℝ),and discuss the classification of such wavelets. As an application, we show that there are uncountably many such wavelet sets of L 2 (ℝ)and H 2 (ℝ).We also enumerate some of the symmetric wavelet sets of L 2 (ℝ)and all wavelet sets of H 2 (ℝ)consisting of three intervals. Finally, we construct families of MSF wavelets of L 2 (ℝ)with Fourier transform even and not vanishing in any neighborhood of the origin.  相似文献

In this paper, the boundedness of Toeplitz operator T b(f) related to strongly singular Calderón-Zygmund operators and Lipschitz function b ε (ℝn) is discussed from L p(ℝn) to L q(ℝn), , and from L p(ℝn) to Triebel-Lizorkin space . We also obtain the boundedness of generalized Toeplitz operator Θ α0 b from L p(ℝn) to L q(ℝn), . All the above results include the corresponding boundedness of commutators. Moreover, the boundedness of Toeplitz operator T b(f) related to strongly singular Calderón-Zygmund operators and BMO function b is discussed on L p(ℝn), 1 < p < ∞.  相似文献

We consider weights of Muckenhoupt classA q, 1<q<∞. For a bounded Lipschitz domain Ω⊂ℝn we prove a compact embedding and a Poincaré inequality in weighted Sobolev spaces. These technical tools allow us to solve the weak Neumann problem for the Laplace equation in weighted spaces on ℝn, ℝn +, on bounded and on exterior domains Ω with boundary of classC 1, which will yield the Helmholtz decomposition ofL ω q(Ω)n for general ω∈A q. This is done by transferring the method of Simader and Sohr [4] to the weighted case. Our result generalizes a result of Farwig and Sohr [2] where the Helmholtz decomposition ofL ω p(Ω)n is proved for an exterior domain and weights of Muckenhoupt class without singularities or degeneracies in a neighbourhood of ϖΩ.
Sunto In questo lavoro consideriamo dei pesi della classe di MuckenhouptA q, 1<q<∞. Per un dominio limitato lipschitziano Ω⊂ℝn, dimostriamo una immersione compatta ed una disuguaglianza di Poincaré in spazi di Sobolev con peso. Questa tecnica ci consente di risolvere il problema debole di Neumann per l’equazione di Laplace in spazi pesati in ℝn, ℝn + in domini limitati ed in domini esterni con frontiera di classeC 1, che conduce alla decomposizione di Helmholtz diL ω q(Ω)n per un qualsiasi ω∈A q. Il risultato è ottenuto trasferendo il metodo di Simader e Sohr [4] al caso pesato. Quello qui presente estende un risultato di Farwig e Sohr [2] dove la decomposizione di Helmholtz diL ω q(Ω)n è dimostrata per domini esterni e pesi della classe di Muckenhoupt privi di singolarità in un intorno di ϖΩ.

 We extend the notion of absolute convergence for real series in several variables to a notion of convergence for series in a power series field ℝ((t Γ)) with coefficients in ℝ. Subsequently, we define a natural notion of analytic function at a point of ℝ((t Γ))m. Then, given a real function f analytic on a open box I of m , we extend f to a function f which is analytic on a subset of ℝ((t Γ)) m containing I. We prove that the functions f share with real analytic functions certain basic properties: they are , they have usual Taylor development, they satisfy the inverse function theorem and the implicit function theorem. We present existence principles for the nonlocal boundary-value problem (φ(u(p−1)))′=g(t,u,...,u(p−1), αk(u)=0, 1≤k≤p−1, where p ≥ 2, π: ℝ → ℝ is an increasing and odd homeomorphism, g is a Carathéodory function that is either regular or has singularities in its space variables, and α k: C p−1[0, T] → ℝ is a continuous functional. We prove that each translation and dilation invariant subspace X ⊂ L p (ℝn), X ≠ L p (ℝn), is contained in a maximal translation and dilation invariant subspace of L p (ℝn). Moreover, we prove that the set of all maximal translation and dilation invariant subspaces of L p (ℝn) has the power of continuum. Let Γ be a regular curve and Lp(Γ),1<p<+∞, be the class of all complex-valued functions f defined on Γ which are such that |f|p is integrable in sense of Lebesgue. In this work, we define the kth p-Faber polynomial Fk.p(z), the kth p-Faber principle part ≈Fk.p(1/z) for Γ, and defined the nth p-Faber-Laurent rational function Rn,p(f, z) and p-generalized modulus of continuity Ωp of a function f of Lp(Γ). We investigate some properties of Fk.p(z) and ≈Fk.p(1/z). And then we prove a direct theorem characterizing the degree of approximation with respect to Ωp in the mean of functions of Lp(Γ) by the rational functions Rn.p(.,z).  相似文献

We study the long time behavior of solutions of the non-autonomous reaction-diffusion equation defined on the entire space ℝ n when external terms are unbounded in a phase space. The existence of a pullback global attractor for the equation is established in L 2(ℝ n ) and H 1(ℝ n ), respectively. The pullback asymptotic compactness of solutions is proved by using uniform a priori estimates on the tails of solutions outside bounded domains.   相似文献

Let E Aff(Γ,G, m) be the set of affine equivalence classes of m-dimensional complete flat manifolds with a fixed fundamental group Γ and a fixed holonomy group G. Let n be the dimension of a closed flat manifold whose fundamental group is isomorphic to Γ. We describe E Aff(Γ,G, m) in terms of equivalence classes of pairs (ε, ρ), consisting of epimorphisms of Γ onto G and representations of G in ℝ m-n .
