The extended fine structure of the X-ray absorption spectra of an atom in a chemical system depends on its orientation with respect to a polarized and nonpolarized X-ray beam. General equationes are developed to describe these dependences without consideration of spin-orbital interactions. Evidence is given for the validity of KOZLENKOV 's equation for the fine structure of polycrystalline solids, liquids, and gases. For the case of K absorption we obtain the equations formerly published by IZRAILEVA . Further, the explicite formulae for the LIII and LIII absorption fine structures are presented.  相似文献

Ruled gratings consisting of interrupted metallic films on glass show a periodical change of X-ray reflection power with the glancing angle of the incident beam. The dependence of the anode fall voltage of freely burning high pressure arcs was investigated on the basis of a simplified arc model. It was found that the anode fall voltage does not contribute to the observed increase of arc voltage with pressure. The analysis was based on experimental investigations carried out with an argon arc. Due to the self-magneticly produced plasma flow a stagnation point flow pattern developed at the anode. The experiments were conducted at currents of I = 100 A and I = 150 A. The pressure was varied between p = 1 atm and p = 50 atm. The applied method necessitated the determination of the anode energy balance. As a side result of the investigation it was found that radiation contributes at p = 1 atm with appr. 20% and at p = 50 atm with appr. 50% to the total arc energy balance.  相似文献

Diffraction gratings in which the grating lines have rectangular profile of widths equal to the intervals between them give, when used for X-ray spectroscopy, all diffraction orders, even and odd ones, with essentially the same intensity. The fact that the even orders are not extinguished, not even weaker than the odd ones, proves that the main contribution of the diffracted radiation does not start from the plain surfaces of the lattice lines but from their back sides.  相似文献

The termination effect follows from the limited range of integration by the Sinustransformation of an experimental intensity to the radial distribution function. Especially the termination effect disturbs the calculation of the coordination numbers. Additionally the secondary maxima falsify the radial distribution curve and aggravate its understanding. An algorithm is given which delivers for the maxima of a radial distribution function peak position, coordination number and fluctuation width. By humps with great fluctuation width an existing asymmetry can be calculated.  相似文献
