The positions and intensities of all vibrational transitions in the (ν1, 2ν2) Fermi doublet region of (CO2)2 dimers are obtained by means of variational method. The collision-induced absorption in compressed carbon dioxide is shown to be mainly due to dimeric absorption. Assignment of ν1 and 2ν2 vibrational bands in isolated CO2 molecule is performed by consideration of the symmetries and intensities of dimeric vibrations.  相似文献

A 35Cl nuclear quadrupole resonance (35Cl-NQR) investigation of polycrystalline Ca(ClO3)2·2H2O is described. The 35Cl-NQR frequencies (νQ) for two resonance lines (νQ1 and νQ2), the spin lattice relaxation time (T1Q) for νQ2 only and the line width δνQ2 were measured in the temperature range 292–345 K, except for the frequency measured up to 455 K. The observed decrease in the resonance frequencies with increasing temperature permitted the determination of the frequencies of librations of the ClO3 ion about two axes perpendicular to the three-fold axis of the ion mainly responsible for this effect. The temperature dependence of the relaxation time T1Q proved the occurrence of water diffusion and hindered rotation of ClO3 ions. The activation energies of these two molecular motions were determined, and their effect on the electric field gradient at the site of a chlorine nucleus was discussed. Temperature measurements of the line width δνQ2 confirmed the conclusions drawn from the analysis of T1Q(T).  相似文献

We have measured the integrated band intensities of the ν9 and ν11 bands of N2O4 which are observed around 1757 and 1261 cm-1, respectively. By varying temperature and pressure, we have obtained: Sband9) = 9.60(130), 9.10(24), 8.80(66) and Sband11)= 5.93(64), 5.70(21) and 5.33(46) (in 10-17 cm/molecule) at 293.15 (60), 277.25 (60) and 261.65 (60) K, respectively.  相似文献

Studies of ion dynamics in the highly conductive glassy fast ionic conductor (FIC) xLi2S + (1 − x)B2S3 (x = 0.65 and 0.70) were made with NMR nuclear spin lattice relaxation (NSLR) R1(ω, T) of both mobile 7Li and immobile 11B ions, and 7Li NMR line narrowing δν(T). The possible dependence of ion dynamics on the short range order structures (SRO) and the distribution of activation energies (DAE) in this highly conductive FIC was investigated. Two Gaussian DAE were employed to fit 7Li NSLR data, where each Gaussian DAE was correlated to a separate 11B NSLR in a BS3 and in a BS4 group. The long range diffusion of Li ions among BS3 groups and a seemingly localized ionic hopping motion around BS4 group is suggested as a microscopic model for the ion dynamics in thioborate glasses, namely a ‘two channel relaxation’.  相似文献

Transient photoconductivity (σph) experiments have been carried out in single crystals of insulating La2CuO4+δ near the metal-insulator transition (δ≈ 1–2%). The time evolution of the σph changes dramatically with light intensity (IL). At low IL, σph is characterized by power law time decay, t, in the nanosecond time regime, and the exponent, , decreases significantly with increasing IL. As IL increases to 5 × 1015 photons/cm2, σph reaches 15 S/cm, and the lifetime of the conducting state is enhanced by more than two orders of magnitude: σph exhibits a delayed peak centered at approximately 30 ns. followed by exponential decay with time constant of 360 ns. The data reveal a continuous distribution of localized electronic states above the (hole) mobility edge; the M-I transition is achieved when the Fermi level is shifted away from the localized states and across the mobility edge either by chemical dopiing or by photo-excitation. The time of σph at high IL implies the formation of metastable metallic droplets after photo-excitation.  相似文献

Intensities have been measured for individual transitions in the Q and R branches of the ν1 band of NH3 using a difference-frequency laser spectrometer. The data yield an integrated band strength of S0v=219.36±1.03 cm-2/MPa at 297 K, corresponding to a transition moment of μv = 8.535(20) × 10-32 C·m, and a Herman-Wallis correction factor, (1 + jm)2, where j = 0.0209(20). The intensities of a few lines for K 7 were noticeably perturbed by a perpendicular Coriolis interaction with 2ν4 (E, L = 2), so were excluded from the fit. A small sample of ν3 band lines occurring in the ν1 band scans also yields a rough estimate of the ν3 band intensity with evident irregular perturbations.  相似文献

We argue that it is the hopping transport that is responsible for broadening of the σxx peaks. Explicit expressions for the width Δν of a peak as a function of the temperature T, current J and frequency ω are found. It is shown that Δν grows with T as (T/T1)κ, where κ is the inverse localization-length exponent. The current J is shown to act like the effective temperature Teff(J) ∝ J1/2 if . Broadening of the ohmic ac-conductivity peaks with frequency ω is found to be determined by the effective temperature   相似文献

We present a model where an unstable MeV Majorana tau neutrino can naturally reconcile the cold dark matter model (CDM) with cosmological observations of large and small scale density fluctuations and, simultaneously, with data on solar and atmospheric neutrinos. The solar neutrino deficit is explained through long wavelength, so-called just-so oscillations involving conversions of νe into both νμ and a sterile species νs , while atmospheric neutrino data are explained through νμ to νe conversions. Future long baseline neutrino oscillation experiments, as well as some reactor experiments will test this hypothesis. The model is based on the spontaneous violation of a global lepton number symmetry at the weak scale. This symmetry plays a key role in generating the cosmologically required decay of the ντ with lifetime τντ ≈ 102-104 seconds, as well as the masses and oscillations of the three light neutrinos νe, νμ and νs required in order to account for solar and atmospheric neutrino data. It also leads to the invisibly decaying Higgs signature that can be searched at LEP and future particle colliders.  相似文献

The 63Cu NMR Knight shift K and spin-lattice relaxation rate 1/T1 have been measured to study the thiospinel superconductor Cu1.5Rh1.5S4 from a microscopic viewpoint. K is negative and has a weak dependence on temperature, and the hyperfine coupling constant Hhfd is estimated to be −52.4 kOe/μB. 1/T1 is proportional to the temperature in the normal state. In the superconducting state, 1/T1 takes a coherence peak just below Tc, and decreases exponentially well below Tc, from whose temperature dependence the superconducting energy gap has been proved to be close to 2Δ = 3.52kBTc given by the BCS theory.  相似文献

Bi2Te3 films were prepared by thermal evaporation technique. X-ray diffraction analysis for as-deposited and annealed films in vacuum at 150 °C were polycrystalline with rhombohedral structure. The crystallite size is found to increase as the film thickness increases and has values in the range 67–162 nm. The optical constants (the refractive index, n, and absorption index, k) were determined using transmittance and reflectance data in the spectral range 2.5–10 μm for Bi2Te3 films with different thicknesses (25–99.5 nm). Both n and k are independent on the film thickness in the investigated range. It was also found that Bi2Te3 is a high refractive index material (n has values of 4.7–8.8 in the wavelength range 2.5–10 μm). The allowed optical transitions were found to be direct optical transitions with energy gap  eV. The optical conductivities σ1 = ƒ() and σ2 = f() show distinct peaks at about 0.13 and 0.3 eV, respectively. These two peaks can be attributed to optical interband transitions.  相似文献

We report measurements of anamolously large dissipative conductivities, σ1, in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ at low temperatures. We have measured the complex conductivity of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ thin films at 100–600 GHz as a function of doping from the underdoped to the overdoped state. At low temperatures there exists a residual σ1 which scales with the T=0 superfluid density as the doping is varied. This residual σ1 is larger than the possible contribution to σ1 from a thermal population of quasiparticles (QP) at the d-wave gap nodes.  相似文献

The absorption specta of CO laser radiation by 3ν3 overtone bands of 238UF6 and 235UF6 has been measured using photoacoustic spectroscopic techniques. For the two temperatures 250 K and 290 K, measured absorption coefficients and cross-sections of the 3ν3 band of 235UF6 are reported for the first time.  相似文献

The transmission spectra of thermally evaporated Ga50Se45S5 films were measured over the wavelength range 300–900 nm. A simple method, suggested by Swanepoel, was used for the determination of the optical constants and thickness of the films. Increasing the thickness of the film beyond 450 nm does not affect the optical constants. The dependence of the absorption coefficient on the photon energy () at the edge of the absorption band is well described by the relation hν=β(hν−Eopt)2 with an optical gap equals 2.4 eV. A good fit of the experimental points with Tauc relation indicates that non-direct transition is the most probable mechanism responsible for the photon absorption inside the investigated film.  相似文献

In previous works (Jornadas SAM 2000; J. Magn. Magn. Mater. 226–230 (2001) 988) the low-frequency anelastic effects of two manganite perovskites of La2/3Sr1/3MnO3 and La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 were studied at 1 Hz and temperatures above those of the metal–insulator transition. An important internal friction peak (P1) appears at 414 and 419 K, respectively, with a modulus variation and no appreciable contribution to electrical resistivity. Another compound Pr1/2Ca1/2MnO3 of the same family has been studied by anelastic mechanical spectroscopy in order to add new data which could elucidate the (P1) peak mechanism. The measurements were made in a sub-resonant forced pendulum (0.1–20 Hz) and in a vibrating reed equipment (kHz range). A stable (P1) peak has been detected at 410 K (1 Hz), with a corresponding modulus step. The appearance of this relaxation peak in the Pr1/2Ca1/2MnO3 compound, and its high activation energy value, similar to the other compounds measured, indicates that the microscopic origin of this relaxation does not correspond to an oxygen jump (characteristic activation energy0.8–0.9 eV).  相似文献

The fully resolved spectrum of the Q-branch of the ν2 band in acetylene has been obtained by cw CARS spectroscopy with a resolution of 40 MHz. The dispersion of χ(3) and the linewidth of this Raman mode were investigated over the pressure range 0.05–5 atm. The constant of rotational-vibrational coupling was measured to be £ = (5.91 ± 0.05) × 10-3 cm-1.  相似文献

Using transverse field μSR measurements, a search for longlived magnetic correlations in the itinerant ferromagnet Fe2P at temperatures significantly above the Curie temperatures has been made. No correlations with a lifetime longer than ≈ 10-10 s could be found.  相似文献

The thermal conductivity and thermopower are reported for a hole doped Eu1.5Ce0.5RuSr2Cu2O10+δ sample that has been annealed at 1100 K under an oxygen pressure of 54 atm. At Tc=45 K superconductivity and weak ferromagnetism coexist (Tm=180 K). Weak features in the thermopower, S(T), and thermal conductivity, κ(T), are observed both at Tm and at T*=140 K. The thermopower begins to decrease sharply toward zero at Tc, and there is an extremely sharp increase of about 30% in the thermal conductivity at Tc. This “first order” transition may be related to the sudden appearance of a spontaneous vortex phase at Tc. A small shoulder is observed in κ(T) in the temperature range T=5–13 K.  相似文献

Temperature and angular dependences of 205Tl line width, Δ , and transverse relaxation time, τ, have been measured in two crystals of Tl2Ba2CuOx with Tc = 32 and 115 K, respectively. In the normal state both Δ and τ have been found to be temperature-independent and not to vary with varying Tc, implying that the size of inhomogeneous broadening is also invariable. Analysis of the line width angular dependence shows that the inhomogeneous broadening originates, most probably, from local distortions associated with Cu substitution for Tl. A conclusion is that variations in Tc are not related to this substitution.  相似文献

Samples of Bi2Sr2Ca1−xPrxCu2Oy have been characterized by resistivity and thermoelectric power measurements. All metallic samples show superconductivity with a maximum Tc = 90 K at X = 0.2. The sample of x = 0.6 shows a crossover from hopping conduction at low temperature above Tc to metallic conduction at high temperature. For the metallic samples below x = 0.6, the results of thermoelectric power are well fitted by both of a phenomenological band spectrum model and the Nagaosa and Lee model.  相似文献

63Cu, 17O and 205Tl NMR have been performed in the high-Tc superconductor Tl2Ba2Ca2Cu3O10 whose Tc(max) is 127 K. The hole densities at Cu and oxygen sites in the CuO2 plane have been extracted from the nuclear quadrupole frequency νQ. The striking feature is that the Cu holes are significantly transferred to oxygen site due to strong hybridization between Cu and oxygen. From an analysis of T1 and T2G, it has been found that the spectral weight of the spin fluctuation is transferred to higher energy compared to YBa2Cu3O7, while the magnetic correlation length ξ does not differ much. Thus, it is suggested that the higher Tc is due to higher characteristic energy of spin fluctuations, i.e. the superconductivity is spin fluctuation mediated. The superconducting properties are consistently explained by a d-wave superconductivity model with a finite density of states (DOS) at the Fermi level. We show that the disorder of the Ca/TlO layer caused by the partial inter-substitution of Tl and Ca is responsible for the potential scattering to produce such a DOS. It is found that if such a potential scattering were absent, Tc would go up to 132 K which is quite close to the record Tc realized in the Hg based compound.  相似文献
