A new alloaromadendrane-type sesquiterpene,(-)-alloaromadendrane-3β,9β-diol(1),has been isolated from the aerial part of Caragana intermediia.The structure of (-)-alloaromadendrane-3β,9β-diol(1)was established by spectroscopic methods, including X-ray analysis that provided its relative stereochemistry.Bioassay showed that (-)-alloaromadendrane-3β,9β-diol (1)possesses anti-pyricularia oryzae P-2b activity with MIC value of 10μg/mL. 相似文献

The flavonoids and the terpene lactones are regarded as the two main active components of Ginkgo biloba that affect human health. In the work discussed in this paper, two analytical methods for the characterization of G. biloba authentic materials and commercial products, an LC–UV chromatographic fingerprinting method and a traditional flavonol quantification
method, were compared. The traditional method was used to determine the total flavonol content (as glycosides) after acid
hydrolysis. The fingerprinting method examined the chromatographic profiles of methanol–water extracts using chemometric methods.
The traditional method showed that all the commercial products met the current voluntary standard of 24% flavonols by weight.
The chromatographic fingerprinting method revealed significant variations in the commercial products with regard to the relative

In this study, the synergistic effect of 6-[4-(1-cyclohexyl- 1H-tetrazol-5-yl) butoxy]-3,4-dihydro-2(1H )-quinolinone (cilostazol) and Ginkgo biloba extract (GbE) was examined in apolipoprotein E (ApoE) null mice. Co-treatment with GbE and cilostazol synergistically decreased reactive oxygen species (ROS) production in ApoE null mice fed a high-fat diet. Co-treatment resulted in a significantly decreased atherosclerotic lesion area compared to untreated ApoE mice. The inflammatory cytokines and adhesion molecules such as monocyte chemoattractant-1 (MCP-1), soluble vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (sVCAM-1), and VCAM-1 which can initiate atherosclerosis were significantly reduced by the co-treatment of cilostazol with GbE. Further, the infiltration of macrophages into the intima was decreased by co-treatment. These results suggest that co-treatment of GbE with cilostazol has a more potent anti-atherosclerotic effect than treatment with cilostazol alone in hyperlipidemic ApoE null mice and could be a valuable therapeutic strategy for the treatment of atherosclerosis. 相似文献

Four new compounds, 2-hydroxy-6-(12′-hydroxyheptadec-13′(E)-en-1-yl)benzoic acid (1), 2-hydroxy-6-(13′-hydroxyheptadec-11′(E)-en-1-yl)benzoic acid (2), 2-hydroxy-6-(10′-hydroxypentadec-11′(E)-en-1-yl)benzoic acid (3), and 2-hydroxy-6-(11′-hydroxypentadec-9′(E)-en-1-yl)benzoic acid (4) were isolated from the leaves of Ginkgo biloba and the structures of new ginkgolic acids were deduced on the basis of spectroscopic methods and chemical means. Compounds 1 and 2, and 3 and 4 examined as an inseparable mixture of hydroxyl and double bond positional isomers, were ultimately defined by total synthesis. A simple, rapid and sensitive high-performance liquid chromatography method was developed for the analysis of the sesquiterpene lactone 15-deoxygoyazensolide (LAC15-D) in rat plasma samples. The chromatographic separation was achieved on a LiChrospher® RP18 column using methanol:water (50:50, v/v) containing 0.6% acetic acid as mobile phase, at a flow rate of 0.7 mL min−1. UV detection was carried out at 270 nm. Phenytoin was used as internal standard. Prior to the analysis, the rat plasma samples were submitted to liquid-liquid extraction with dichloromethane. The mean absolute recoveries were 73% with R.S.D. values lower than 3.5. The method was linear over the 6.0-2000 ng mL−1 concentration range and the quantification limit was 6.0 ng mL−1. Within-day and between-day assay precision and accuracy were studied at three concentration levels (15, 300 and 480 ng mL−1) and were lower than 15%. The validated method was used to measure the plasmatic concentration of LAC15-D in rats that received a single intraperitoneal dose of 30 mg kg−1. 相似文献

Flavonoids present in the extracts from leaves of Pseudotsuga menziesii (Pinaceae), Ginkgo biloba (Ginkgoaceae) and Podocarpus dacrydioides (Podocarpaceae) were separated by use of the reversed phase HPLC method. The analysed compounds belong to different groups of flavonoids – biflavones (amentoflavone, bilobetin, 5–methoxybilobetin, podocarpusflavone A, sequoiaflavone, podocarpusflavone B, ginkgetin, isoginkgetin, sciadopitysin, kayaflavone, hinokiflavone, 2,3–dihydrosciadopitysin, 2,3–dihydroisoginkgetin), O–acylated flavonol glycosides (daglesiosides I, II, III, IV, trans–tiliroside, trans–ditiliroside), flavonol O–glycosides (astragalin, isoquercetin) and flavonol aglycones (kaempferol, quercetin, isorhamnetin). The conditions for flavonoid separation were optimized using various RP–18 columns. The degradation of flavonol glycosides extracted from Ginkgo biloba was performed under different conditions and the degraded products were determined by reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) method. Four stress conditions including acid(0.1 mol/L HCl), base(0.1 mol/L NaOH), temperature (70 ℃) and oxidation(0.03% H2O2, volume fraction) were used for the forced degradation studies. The pH stabilities of the flavonol glycosides were determined in phosphate buffers of varying pH values from 4.5 to 7.4. The degradation rate constants and half-life of three Ginkgo flavonol aglycones(quercetin, kaempferol and isorhamnetin) which represent Ginkgo flavonol glycosides were calculated in forced degradation and pH-stability studies of them. The results indicate that the three substances were more stable when incubated under acid condition and showed pH-dependent stability. The degradation was observed to follow first-order kinetics in all degradation studies. The stability results could provide important bases on development, preparation and storage of products of Ginkgo biloba extract and should be significantly considered during the further formulation development. 相似文献

Ginkgo biloba L. has always been a popular area of research due to its various active ingredients and pharmacological effects. Ginkgo biloba is rich in ginkgo flavonoids, ginkgolides, and ginkgolic acid, with anti-inflammation, antioxidation, neuroprotection, anti-platelet agglutination, hypolipidemic effect, anti-cancer, and anti-radiation properties. There are many methods to extract and separate the active components of ginkgo. Among them, supercritical carbon dioxide fluid extraction (SFE-CO2) is known for its green, clean, and environment-friendly properties. In this paper, the pharmacological activities, the active components, and structures of different parts of ginkgo, the extraction methods of its effective ingredients, and the application of the SFE-CO2 method for the extraction and separation of active ingredients in Ginkgo biloba from leaves, seeds, pollen, and roots were reviewed, in order to make best use of ginkgo resources, and provide support and references for the development of SFE-CO2 of active components from Ginkgo biloba. 相似文献

An unusual 29-nor-3,4-seco-friedelan-4(23),20(30)-dien-3-oic acid and a new 5-hydroxy-6,9-epoxyguaiane have been isolated along with other rare terpenes and lignans from Phyllanthus oxyphyllus roots. Their structures were elucidated from spectroscopic data.
