Based on the matrix method, a theory of propagation of TE- and TH-polarized Bessel light beams (BLBs) in a one-dimensional photonic crystal (1DPC) is developed. The transmission through a 1DPC (with and without a defect impurity) of a quasi-circularly-polarized incident Bessel beam generated by an axicon from a circularly-polarized Gaussian beam has been calculated and analyzed. Also a solution of the problem on the transmission of BLBs through crystalline plate (layer of a uniaxial crystal with the orientation of the optical axis orthogonally to its interfaces) and reflection from it has been presented.Based on this, a new method of formation of TE- and TH-polarized Bessel light beams has been proposed. It has been shown that it is possible to control this process by changing the cone angle of an incident Bessel light beam. The effect of generation of a coherent superposition of two Bessel beams with different cone angles in the case of a high birefringence of defect layer has been predicted theoretically.  相似文献

Stimulated Raman scattering in H(2) gas was studied with a Bessel pump beam, which was generated with a binary phase grating. The first Stokes light was emitted along the surface of a cone, the angle of which was equal to the cone angle of the Bessel pump beam multiplied by the ratio of the wavelengths of the Stokes and pump beams. High conversion efficiency into the first Stokes light of as much as 60% was achieved, indicating that the complete Bessel J(0) mode of the pump beam is involved in the stimulated scattering process.  相似文献

A simple device capable to produce Bessel beams with variable cone angle is proposed. It is shown that the cone angle of the Bessel beam produced by the axicone placed inside the telescope depends on the position of the axicone and can be continuously varied. As a result of theoretical investigations a simple formula giving the cone half-angle on the parameters and position of axicone inside the telescope was derived. The possibility of the Bessel beam generation with the help of a proposed device was confirmed experimentally. Good qualitative and quantitative agreement with the theoretical predictions is obtained.  相似文献

As was shown previously, in propagation of a circularly polarized Bessel light beam along the optical axes of a biaxial crystal, there takes place the conversion of the order of Bessel function. In this paper, a new result is presented which is obtained by varying the polarization state of an input beam. Namely, a linearly polarized beam can be transformed into a beam with the radial or azimuthal polarization state. At that the order-transformation also occurs. The switching between radial and azimuthal polarization states of the output beam is performed by the proper switching between two orthogonal linear polarization states of the input beam. The efficiency of polarization conversion is high and can be practically full at an appropriate choice of the cone angle of the input beam or crystal length.  相似文献

We have studied conversion and interaction of a Bessel laser beam of zero order in photorefractive crystals. We have established that in a cubic gyrotropic crystal, two Bessel light beams propagate with different wave vectors and cone angles, but with identical conicity parameters. As the power in the Bessel light beam increases, we have experimentally observed a new optical effect: self-action of a Bessel light beam. 用准直或会聚激光束倾斜照射圆柱体时,其反射光、透射光(柱体透明时)、衍射光(柱体较细时)的叠加将形成以光束入射点为顶点的空间圆锥形光面(空间光锥),并且在垂直于柱体轴线方向的观察平面上投影成一圆形光环.空间光锥的形成与所选圆柱体材料及其粗细无关,只要其表面具有一定反射能力即可.空间光锥的锥角等于入射光束主光轴与圆柱体轴线夹角的2倍,与圆柱体和照射光束的直径大小及光波长无关.给出了对光纤及不同直径大小的玻璃和金属圆柱体的实验观察结果,并利用矢量图解法对其进行了详细地理论分析.进而得出,通常所谓单丝衍射图样,实际上是细丝的衍射和其表面的反射光场的叠加图样,对于透明细丝,还包括其透射光场的贡献.圆柱体的这种空间圆锥光反射和衍射原理有可能用于光束定位、成形、表面检测以及三维面形测量等 关键词: 圆柱体 空间光锥 投影光环  相似文献

An open hollow cone that can optically guide and focus a laser light into a small beam spot is proposed. The shaping and focusing effects are numerically demonstrated by finite-difference time-domain simulations. The results reveal that the cone-focused laser originates from the multi-beam interference and squeeze of two cone side walls acting like oblique targets. Moreover, the influences of oblique incident angle of laser light, cone angle and cone tip size on the focusing properties are discussed and the optimum cone geometry with cone angle of 16° and tip size of 4.5 wavelengths to achieve high energy concentration at the cone tip is also presented. It is shown that with an open hollow cone a laser light can be focused into a tiny highly localized beam spot of 1 µm diameter and keeps propagating forward for a distance of about 8 wavelengths with a tiny spot diameter remaining almost unchanged. The intensity almost increases up to twentyfold in a 1 µm focal spot.  相似文献

基于Hankel 波理论分析了非相干光源产生Bessel光束的自重建特性, 利用光学设计软件ZEMAX模拟了Bessel光束经过轴上圆形障碍物后的截面光强分布. 由于发光二级管(LED) 具有一定的频谱宽度且不像激光具有很高的相干度, 因此我们采用一定频宽范围的连续谱来描述. 从模拟结果可以直观地看出Bessel光束被轴上圆形障碍物遮挡后逐步完成自重建, 说明用LED非相干光作为光源具有自重建特性.实验上采用LED和轴棱锥元件产生Bessel光束, 然后通过轴上圆形障碍物、轴上方形障碍物, 并拍摄了不同位置处的截面光强分布图, 证实了非相干光源产生Bessel光束的自重建特性.实验结果和模拟结果相符合. 关键词: 无衍射光束 LED光源 轴棱锥 自重建  相似文献

A Bessel beam is suitable for laser micro-fabrication because it possesses both a micron-sized focal spot and a deep focal depth. As the influence of focusing aberrations is much smaller than that of a convex lens, the generation of a Bessel beam using an axicon is very practical. In the case of laser micro drilling of austenitic stainless steel with a Bessel beam, suitable processing conditions were investigated. The threshold fluence to make a through hole increased with an increase in the sample thickness. For samples with the same thickness, the threshold fluence increased with an increase in the crossing angle. A small crossing angle Bessel beam can drill a deep hole with a small threshold fluence. A through hole with a diameter smaller than 10 μm can be made on a stainless steel sheet 20 μm thick by using a Bessel beam with a large crossing angle. 基于菲涅耳衍射积分理论和巴比涅原理,推导出像散Bessel光束经圆形障碍物后的光强分布一般表达式.数值模拟了像散Bessel光束经圆形障碍物遮挡后光场的自重建过程,并设计相关实验进行验证,实验结果与理论模拟基本符合.结果表明:零阶像散Bessel光束经过轴上和离轴障碍物后均会发生光束重建现象.随着传输距离的增加,像散Bessel光束的外轮廓尺寸变大、中心光点阵列数增多,逐渐重建出不同于障碍物前的完整光束.并且观察到光束在重建过程中横向和纵向的重建速度并不一致,存在一定的速度差.利用螺旋相位板产生高阶像散Bessel光束,验证了高阶像散Bessel光束经障碍物遮挡后同样具有自重建特性.研究结果对像散Bessel光束在多层面粒子操纵方面的应用具有参考价值.  相似文献

本文利用Bessel波的谐波展开式, 采用T矩阵方法的推导思路, 建立了水下任意刚性散射体在Bessel波照射下的声散射场计算公式. 以水下刚性椭球体和两端附连半球的刚性圆柱体为例, 计算了在不同波锥角β 下的反向散射形态函数, 同时, 依据镜反射波和绕行波的干涉物理模型, 给出了预报Bessel波照射下的反向散射形态函数峰峰间隔值的计算模型. 仿真结果表明本文提出的Bessel波照射下反向散射形态函数峰峰间隔值预报方法是准确有效的, 同时也说明, 本文建立的基于T矩阵法计算水下任意刚性散射体在Bessel波束下的声散射场方法是有效的, 这拓展了T矩阵法的应用领域.  相似文献

An expression is derived for the radiation force on a sphere placed on the axis of an ideal acoustic Bessel beam propagating in an inviscid fluid. The expression uses the partial-wave coefficients found in the analysis of the scattering when the sphere is placed in a plane wave traveling in the same external fluid. The Bessel beam is characterized by the cone angle beta of its plane wave components where beta=0 gives the limiting case of an ordinary plane wave. Examples are found for fluid spheres where the radiation force reverses in direction so the force is opposite the direction of the beam propagation. Negative axial forces are found to be correlated with conditions giving reduced backscattering by the beam. This condition may also be helpful in the design of acoustic tweezers for biophysical applications. Other potential applications include the manipulation of objects in microgravity. Islands in the (ka, beta) parameter plane having a negative radiation force are calculated for the case of a hexane drop in water. Here k is the wave number and a is the drop radius. Low frequency approximations to the radiation force are noted for rigid, fluid, and elastic solid spheres in an inviscid fluid.  相似文献

The exact scattering by a sphere centered on a Bessel beam is expressed as a partial wave series involving the scattering angle relative to the beam axis and the conical angle of the wave vector components of the Bessel beam. The sphere is assumed to have isotropic material properties so that the nth partial wave amplitude for plane wave scattering is proportional to a known partial-wave coefficient. The scattered partial waves in the Bessel beam case are also proportional to the same partial-wave coefficient but now the weighting factor depends on the properties of the Bessel beam. When the wavenumber-radius product ka is large, for rigid or soft spheres the scattering is peaked in the backward and forward directions along the beam axis as well as in the direction of the conical angle. These properties are geometrically explained and some symmetry properties are noted. The formulation is also suitable for elastic and fluid spheres. A partial wave expansion of the Bessel beam is noted.  相似文献

本文从理论角度提出了一种"含时贝塞尔光束"的概念.在非傍轴和非时谐条件下,直接从麦克斯韦方程出发,借鉴半贝塞尔光束的处理方法,同时引入第四维虚数坐标,由此获得了完整的"含时贝塞尔光束"的解析表达式.并从无衍射性质和时空特性两个方面对其进行了探讨和研究,发现该光束具有如下性质:符合贝塞尔光束类型的无衍射特征;在时空双曲线上强度保持不变;光波时空特性的临界条件类似于相对论中的光锥."含时贝塞尔光束"的概念为无衍射自加速光束的研究开拓了新的思路和方向.  相似文献

The scattering process of an unpolarized Bessel beam through spherical scatterers is investigated. We derive the analytical solutions of scattered fields of x-and y-polarized Bessel beams using a sphere, after which the dimensionless scattering function for an unpolarized Bessel beam is obtained. The dimensionless scattering function is applicable to spherical scatterers of any size on the beam axis or near it. Through numerical simulations, we demonstrate that extreme points exist in the direction or neighboring direction of the conical angle for spherical scatterers on the beam axis, whereas the existence of extreme points depends on the ratio between the spherical scatterers size and central spot size of the Bessel beam.  相似文献

提出一种产生局域空心光束(bottle beam)的新方法,它是在传统的轴棱锥底面上放置一个环形障碍物.平面波入射到带有环形障碍物的轴棱锥底面时,将在轴棱锥产生的最大无衍射距离内形成bottle beam,而在bottle beam的前后仍然保持无衍射贝塞尔光.通过变化障碍物大小及轴棱锥底角实现bottle beam尺寸的控制.利用衍射理论描述了平面波经带有环形障碍物的轴棱锥产生bottle beam的原理,分析和模拟了传输过程中不同位置的截面光强分布及整个过程的三维光强分布,并给出相关的实验结果.研究结果对bottlebeam的实际应用具有积极的意义.  相似文献

Specific features of the acousto-optic diffraction of Bessel light beams propagating in the vicinity of the optical axis of a uniaxial gyrotropic crystal have been investigated. The dependences of the diffraction efficiency on the acousto-optic interaction length, ultrasound power, and polarization state of the incident Bessel light beam have been analyzed using the coupled-wave equations and the overlap-integral method. It is shown that polarization-independent diffraction of Bessel light beams is observed in paratellurite crystals, when the Bragg diffraction efficiency is independent of the polarization state of the incident beam. The physical reason for this diffraction has been established (both theoretically and experimentally) to be simultaneous implementation of two processes of anisotropic scattering, at which the Bragg synchronism conditions are satisfied for orthogonal polarized Bessel beams with elliptical polarization.  相似文献

使用连续式输出的砷化镓半导体激光器泵浦的掺钕钒酸钇激光器作为光源,利用磷酸氧钛钾晶体腔内倍频产生波长为532nm的绿光,通过轴棱锥产生了近似无衍射贝塞尔光束。推导了倍频产生的绿光的场分布,并模拟了倍频绿光经过轴棱锥产生的近似无衍射光束的轴向光强分布图和截面光强分布图。通过实验拍摄了距离轴棱锥不同位置的截面光强分布,测量了无衍射贝塞尔绿光的最大无衍射距离和中心光斑直径,实验数据与理论模拟基本吻合。实验结果说明所述方法产生的倍频无衍射绿光具有良好的光束质量,具有应用价值。  相似文献

Starting from the exact acoustic scattering from a sphere immersed in an ideal fluid and centered along the propagation axis of a standing or quasi-standing zero-order Bessel beam, explicit partial-wave representations for the radiation force are derived. A standing or a quasi-standing acoustic field is the result of propagating two equal or unequal amplitude zero-order Bessel beams, respectively, along the same axis but in opposite sense. The Bessel beam is characterized by the half-cone angle β of its plane wave components, such that β = 0 represents a plane wave. It is assumed here that the half-cone angle β for each of the counter-propagating acoustic Bessel beams is equal. Fluid, elastic and viscoelastic spheres immersed in water are treated as examples. Results indicate the capability of manipulating spherical targets based on their mechanical and acoustical properties. This condition provides an impetus for further designing acoustic tweezers operating with standing or quasi-standing Bessel acoustic waves. Potential applications include particle manipulation in micro-fluidic lab-on-chips as well as in reduced gravity environments.  相似文献

 分别使用两种不同底角的轴棱锥产生无衍射贝塞尔光束。理论分析了单束贝塞尔光及两束贝塞尔光相干叠加后光场的光强分布,分析了产生的局域空心光束在一个完整周期内的特性。数值模拟了光沿纵向传播时光场的横向光强分布,并给出了相关的实验。对单束贝塞尔光及两束贝塞尔光干涉后的中心光斑的大小进行了测量,测量结果与理论计算结果吻合。  相似文献
