The oxovanadium(IV)-lanthanide(III) heteronuclear complexes, [[Ce(H2O)7(VO)(TTHA)0.5][(VO)2(TTHA)]].8H2O (2), [Pr(H2O)7(VO)3(TTHA)1.5].10H2O (3), and [Nd(H2O)7(VO)3(TTHA)(1.5)].10H2O (4) (H6TTHA = triethylenetetraaminehexaacetic acid), were prepared based on a binuclear building block of [(VO)2(TTHA)]2- in [VO(H2O)5][(VO)2TTHA].4H2O (1). The X-ray crystallographic studies show that 1 is an ion-pair complex, containing the [(VO)2(TTHA)]2- unit as a useful building block. Adding the light Ln3+ ions to this synthesis system, three new 3d-4f mixed-metal-based complexes were obtained. Although the light lanthanide ions always exhibit similar chemical behavior, the structures of 2-4 are not homologous. 2 is exhibited as a one-dimensional coordination polymer, comprising an unusual Ce2V2 heterometallic lattice in the chain structure, which is the second report of a oxovanadium(IV)-lanthanide(III) coordination polymer. 3 and 4 are isomorphic, every two of the Ln3+ cations linked three [(VO)2(TTHA)]2- anions, forming an interesting linear octanuclear structure. This kind of heteronuclear linear complex is rather rare, which expands the realm of 3d-4f complexes. Further investigations such as IR spectra, UV-vis spectra, magnetic properties, and EPR spectra were studied, and a detailed discussion is given for this system.  相似文献

Four new metal-organic polymeric complexes, {[Cu(mu-OH)(mu-ClPhtrz)][(H 2O)(BF 4)]} n ( 1), {[Cu(mu-OH)(mu-BrPhtrz)][(H 2O)(BF 4)]} n ( 2), {[Cu(mu-OH)(mu-ClPhtrz)(H 2O)](NO 3)} n ( 3), and {[Cu(mu-OH)(mu-BrPhtrz)(H 2O)](NO 3)} n ( 4) (ClPhtrz = N-[( E)-(4-chlorophenyl)methylidene]-4 H-1,2,4-triazol-4-amine; BrPhtrz = N-[( E)-(4-bromophenyl)methylidene]-4 H-1,2,4-triazol-4-amine), were synthesized in a reaction of substituted 1,2,4-triazole and various copper(II) salts in water/acetonitrile solutions. The structures of 1- 4 were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The Cu(II) ions are linked both by single N (1), N (2)-1,2,4-triazole and hydroxide bridges yielding one dimensional (1D) linear chain polymers. The tetragonally distorted octahedral geometry of copper atoms is completed alternately by two water and two BF 4 (-) anion molecules in 1 and 2 but solely by two water molecules in 3 and 4. Magnetic properties of all complexes were studied by variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements. The Cu(II) ions are strongly antiferromagnetically coupled with J = -419(1) cm (-1) ( 1), -412(2) cm (-1) ( 2), -391(3) cm (-1) ( 3), and -608(2) cm (-1) ( 4) (based on the Hamiltonian H = - J[ summation operator S i . S i+ 1]). The nature and the magnitude of the antiferromagnetic exchange were discussed on the basis of complementarity/countercomplementarity of the two competing bridges.  相似文献

Two novel three-dimensional (3D) 3d-4f mixed complexes [Ln(H(2)O)(4)][Ni(2)TTHA(SCN)(2)].H(3)O+ [Ln = Pr (1), Ce (2); H(6)TTHA = triethylenetetraaminehexaacetic acid], based on the building blocks of [Ni(2)TTHA(SCN)(2)](4-), were synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystal diffraction and magnetic properties. The single-crystal structures show that these complexes form a 3D framework, comprised of an unusual infinite one-dimensional chain based on heterometallic Ln2Ni2 rings. The temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibilities were analyzed by an approximate model, leading to g = 2.06. Delta = 2.83, zJ' = -0.6 cm-1 for complex 1 and g = 2.07, Delta = 1.00, zJ' = -0.5 cm(-1) for complex 2.  相似文献

Binuclear, mu-bis(oxo)bis{oxovanadium(V)} complexes [(VOL)2(mu-O)2](2 and 7)(where HL are the hydrazones Hacpy-nah I or Hacpy-fah II; acpy = 2-acetylpyridine, nah = nicotinic acid hydrazide and fah = 2-furoic acid hydrazide) were prepared by the reaction of [VO(acac)2] and the ligands in methanol followed by aerial oxidation. The paramagnetic intermediate complexes [VO(acac)(acpy-nah)](1) and [VO(acac)(acpy-fah)](6) have also been isolated. Treatment of [VO(acac)(acpy-nah)] and [VO(acac)(acpy-fah)] with aqueous H2O2 yields the oxoperoxovanadium(V) complexes [VO(O2)(acpy-nah)](3) and [VO(O2)(acpy-fah)](8). In the presence of catechol (H2cat) or benzohydroxamic acid (H2bha), 1 and 6 give the mixed chelate complexes [VO(cat)L](HL =I: 4, HL =II: 9) or [VO(bha)L](HL =I: 5, HL =II: 10). Complexes 4, 5, 9 and 10 slowly convert to the corresponding oxo-mu-oxo species 2 and 7 in DMF solution. Ascorbic acid enhances this conversion under aerobic conditions, possibly through reduction of these complexes with concomitant removal of coordinated catecholate or benzohydroxamate. Acidification of 7 with HCl dissolved in methanol afforded a hydroxo(oxo) complex. The crystal and molecular structure of 2.1.5H2O has been determined, and the structure of 7 re-determined, by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Both of these binuclear complexes contain the uncommon asymmetrical {VO(mu-O)}2 diamond core. The in vitro tests of the antiamoebic activity of ligands I and II and their binuclear complexes 2 and 7 against the protozoan parasite Entamoeba histolytica show that the ligands have no amoebicidal activity while their vanadium complexes 2 and 7 display more effective amoebicidal activity than the most commonly used drug metronidazole (IC50 values are 1.68 and 0.45 microM, respectively vs 1.81 microM for metronidazole). Complexes 2 and 7 catalyse the oxidation of styrene and ethyl benzene effectively. Oxidation of styrene, using H2O2 as an oxidant, gives styrene epoxide, 2-phenylacetaldehyde, benzaldehyde, benzoic acid and 1-phenyl-ethane-1,2-diol, while ethyl benzene yields benzyl alcohol, benzaldehyde and 1-phenyl-ethane-1,2-diol.  相似文献

Reactions of the anionic gallium(i) heterocycle, [:Ga{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}](-) (Ar = C(6)H(3)Pr(i)(2)-2,6), with two N,N-chelated zinc chloride complexes have yielded the compounds, [{Pr(i)(2)NC[N(Ar)](2)}ZnGa{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}] and [(tmeda)Zn{Ga{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}}(2)] which contain the first crystallographically characterised Zn-Ga bonds.  相似文献

A family of thirteen tetranuclear heterometallic zinc(II)-lanthanide(III) complexes of the hexa-imine macrocycle (L(Pr))(6-), with general formula Zn(II)(3)Ln(III)(L(Pr))(NO(3))(3)·xsolvents (Ln = La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm or Yb), were prepared in a one-pot synthesis using a 3:1:3:3 reaction of zinc(II) acetate, the appropriate lanthanide(III) nitrate, the dialdehyde 1,4-diformyl-2,3-dihydroxybenzene (H(2)L(1)) and 1,3-diaminopropane. A hexanuclear homometallic zinc(II) macrocyclic complex [Zn(6)(L(Pr))(OAc)(5)(OH)(H(2)O)]·3H(2)O was obtained using a 2:0:1:1 ratio of the same reagents. A control experiment using a 1:0:1:1 ratio failed to generate the lanthanide-free [Zn(3)(L(Pr))] macrocyclic complex. The reaction of H(2)L(1) and zinc(II) acetate in a 1:1 ratio yielded the pentanuclear homometallic complex of the dialdehyde H(2)L(1), [Zn(5)(L(1))(5)(H(2)O)(6)]·3H(2)O. An X-ray crystal structure determination revealed [Zn(3)(II)Pr(III)(L(Pr))(NO(3))(2)(DMF)(3)](NO(3))·0.9DMF has the large ten-coordinate lanthanide(III) ion bound in the central O(6) site with two bidentate nitrate anions completing the O(10) coordination sphere. The three square pyramidal zinc(II) ions are in the outer N(2)O(2) sites with a fifth donor from DMF. Measurement of the magnetic properties of [Zn(II)(3)Dy(III)(L(Pr))(NO(3))(3)(MeOH)(3)]·4H(2)O with a weak external dc field showed that it has a frequency-dependent out-of-phase component of ac susceptibility, indicative of slow relaxation of the magnetization (SMM behaviour). Likewise, the Er and Yb analogues are field-induced SMMs; the latter is only the second example of a Yb-based SMM. The neodymium, ytterbium and erbium complexes are luminescent in the solid phase, but only the ytterbium and neodymium complexes show strong lanthanide-centred luminescence in DMF solution.  相似文献

Three novel coordination polymers, [Cd(5)(HTTHA)(2)(Hpt)(4)(H(2)O)]·4H(2)O (1; H(6)TTHA = 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triamine hexaacetic acid, Hpt = pyridinium-4-thiolate), {[Cd(3)(TTHA)(dps)(H(2)O)(3)](2)}·H(2)O (2), and [Zn(3)(TTHA)(dps)(H(2)O)]·5H(2)O (3; dps =4,4'-dipyridylsulfide), have been synthesized by the flexible hexapodal acid H(6)TTHA and in-situ-generated Hpt and dps ligands from a 4,4'-dipyridyldisulfide (dpds) precursor through cleavage of both S-S and S-C(sp(2)) bonds and temperature-dependent chemical rearrangement under hydrothermal conditions. Polymers 2 and 3 exhibit 3D frameworks, while in 1, the extended 3D network can be described as 2D layers further bridged via H-bond interaction. Intriguingly, the three compounds have shown an unusual luminescence thermochromism. Upon decreasing the temperature from 298 to 10 K, the emission bands grow in intensity and change in color dramatically.  相似文献

Arene ruthenium(II) complexes containing bis(pyrazolyl)methane ligands have been prepared by reacting the ligands L' (L' in general; specifically L(1) = H(2)C(pz)(2), L(2) = H(2)C(pz(Me2))(2), L(3) = H(2)C(pz(4Me))(2), L(4) = Me(2)C(pz)(2) and L(5) = Et(2)C(pz)(2) where pz = pyrazole) with [(arene)RuCl(mu-Cl)](2) dimers (arene = p-cymene or benzene). When the reaction was carried out in methanol solution, complexes of the type [(arene)Ru(L')Cl]Cl were obtained. When L(1), L(2), L(3), and L(5) ligands reacted with excess [(arene)RuCl(mu-Cl)](2), [(arene)Ru(L')Cl][(arene)RuCl(3)] species have been obtained, whereas by using the L(4) ligand under the same reaction conditions the unexpected [(p-cymene)Ru(pzH)(2)Cl]Cl complex was recovered. The reaction of 1 equiv of [(p-cymene)Ru(L')Cl]Cl and of [(p-cymene)Ru(pzH)(2)Cl]Cl with 1 equiv of AgX (X = O(3)SCF(3) or BF(4)) in methanol afforded the complexes [(p-cymene)Ru(L')Cl](O(3)SCF(3)) (L' = L(1) or L(2)) and [(p-cymene)Ru(pzH)(2)Cl]BF(4), respectively. [(p-cymene)Ru(L(1))(H(2)O)][PF(6)](2) formed when [(p-cymene)Ru(L(1))Cl]Cl reacts with an excess of AgPF(6). The solid-state structures of the three complexes, [(p-cymene)Ru{H(2)C(pz)(2)}Cl]Cl, [(p-cymene)Ru{H(2)Cpz(4Me))(2)}Cl]Cl, and [(p-cymene)Ru{H(2)C(pz)(2)}Cl](O(3)SCF(3)), were determined by X-ray crystallographic studies. The interionic structure of [(p-cymene)Ru(L(1))Cl](O(3)SCF(3)) and [(p-cymene)Ru(L')Cl][(p-cymene)RuCl(3)] (L' = L(1) or L(2)) was investigated through an integrated experimental approach based on NOE and pulsed field gradient spin-echo (PGSE) NMR experiments in CD(2)Cl(2) as a function of the concentration. PGSE NMR measurements indicate the predominance of ion pairs in solution. NOE measurements suggest that (O(3)SCF(3))(-) approaches the cation orienting itself toward the CH(2) moiety of the L(1) (H(2)C(pz)(2)) ligand as found in the solid state. Selected Ru species have been preliminarily investigated as catalysts toward styrene oxidation by dihydrogen peroxide, [(p-cymene)Ru(L(1))(H(2)O)][PF(6)](2) being the most active species.  相似文献

As a contribution to the development of novel vanadium complexes with pharmacologically interesting properties, two neutral dioxovanadium(V) complexes [VO2(Hpydx-sbdt)] (1) and [VO2(Hpydx-smdt)] (3) [H2pydx-sbdt (I) and H2pydx-smdt (II) are the Schiff bases derived from pyridoxal and S-benzyl- or S-methyldithiocarbazate] have been synthesized by the reaction of [VO(acac)2] and the potassium salts of the ligands in methanol followed by aerial oxidation. Heating of the methanolic solutions of these complexes yields the oxo-bridged binuclear complexes [{VO(pydx-sbdt)}2mu-O] (2) and [{VO(pydx-smdt)}2mu-O] (4). The crystals and molecular structures of 1, 3 x 1.5H2O, and 4 x 2CH3OH have been determined, confirming the ONS binding mode of the dianionic ligands in their thioenolate form. The ring nitrogen of the pyridoxal moiety is protonated in complexes 1 and 3. Acidification of 1 and 3 with HCl dissolved in methanol afforded oxohydroxo complexes, while in a methanolic KOH solution, the corresponding dioxo species K[VO2(pydx-sbdt/smdt)] are formed. Treatment of 1 and 3 with H2O2 yields (unstable) oxoperoxovanadium(V) complexes, the formation of which has been established spectrophotometrically. In vitro antiamoebic activities (against HM1:1MSS strain of Entamoeba histolytica) were established for all of the dioxo- and oxovanadium(V) complexes. The complexes 1, 2, and 4 were more effective than metronidazole, a commonly used drug against amoebiasis, suggesting that oxovanadium(V) complexes derived from thiohydrazones may open a new dimension in the therapy of amoebiasis.  相似文献

Two series of new lanthanide amido complexes supported by bis(indolyl) ligands with amino-coordinate-lithium as a bridge were synthesized and characterized. The interactions of [(Me(3)Si)(2)N](3)Ln(III)(μ-Cl)Li(THF)(3) with 2 equiv of 3-(CyNHCH(2))C(8)H(5)NH in toluene produced the amino-coordinate-lithium bridged bis(indolyl) lanthanide amides [μ-{[η(1):η(1):η(1):η(1)-3-(CyNHCH(2))Ind](2)Li}Ln[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2)] (Cy = cyclohexyl, Ind = Indolyl, Ln = Sm (1), Eu (2), Dy (3), Yb (4)) in good yields. Treatment of [μ-{[η(1):η(1):η(1):η(1)-3-(CyNHCH(2))Ind](2)Li}Ln[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2)] with THF gave new lanthanide amido complexes [μ-{[η(1):η(1)-3-(CyNHCH(2))Ind](2)Li(THF)}Ln[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2)] (Ln = Eu (5), Dy (6), Yb (7)), which can be transferred to amido complexes 2, 3, and 4 by reflux the corresponding complexes in toluene. Thus, two series of rare-earth-metal amides could be reciprocally transformed easily by merely changing the solvent in the reactions. All new complexes 1-7 are fully characterized including X-ray structural determination. The catalytic activities of these new lanthanide amido complexes for hydrophosphonylation of both aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes and various substituted aldimines were explored. The results indicated that these complexes displayed a high catalytic activity for the C-P bond formation with employment of low catalyst loadings (0.1 mol?% for aldehydes and 1 mol?% for aldimines) under mild conditions. Thus, it provides a convenient way to prepare both α-hydroxy and α-amino phosphonates.  相似文献

Three organic-inorganic hybrid copper-lanthanide heterometallic germanotungstates, {[Cu(en)(2)(H(2)O)] [Cu(3)Eu(en)(3)(OH)(3)(H(2)O)(2)](α-GeW(11)O(39))}(2)·11H(2)O (1), {[Cu(en)(2)(H(2)O)][Cu(3)Tb(en)(3)(OH)(3)(H(2)O)(2)](α-GeW(11)O(39))}(2)·11H(2)O (2) and {[Cu(en)(2)(H(2)O)][Cu(3)Dy(en)(3)(OH)(3)(H(2)O)(2)](α-GeW(11)O(39))}(2)·10H(2)O (3) and three polyoxometalate hybrids built by lanthanide-containing germanotungstates and copper-ethylendiamine complexes, Na(2)H(6)[Cu(en)(2)(H(2)O)](8){Cu(en)(2)[La(α-GeW(11)O(39))(2)](2)}·18H(2)O (4), K(4)H(2)[Cu(en)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](5)[Cu(en)(2)(H(2)O)](2)[Cu(en)(2)](2){Cu(en)(2)[Pr(α-GeW(11)O(39))(2)](2)}·16H(2)O (5) and KNa(2)H(7)[enH(2)](3)[Cu(en)(2)(H(2)O)](2)[Cu(en)(2)](2){Cu(en)(2)[Er(α-GeW(11)O(39))(2)](2)}·15H(2)O (6) (en = ethylenediamine) have been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analyses, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) analyses, IR spectra, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. 1-3 are essentially isomorphous and their main skeletons display the interesting dimeric motif {[Cu(3)Ln(en)(3)(OH)(3)(H(2)O)(2)](α-GeW(11)O(39))}(2)(4-), which is constructed from two {Cu(3)LnO(4)} cubane anchored monovacant [α-GeW(11)O(39)](8-) fragments through two W-O-Ln-O-W linkers. The primary backbones of 4-6 exhibit the tetrameric architecture {Cu(en)(2)[Ln(α-GeW(11)O(39))(2)](2)}(24-) built by two 1?:?2-type [Ln(α-GeW(11)O(39))(2)](13-) moieties and one [Cu(en)(2)](2+) bridge, albeit they are not isostructural. To our knowledge, 1-6 are rare polyoxometalate derivatives consisting of copper-lanthanide heterometallic/lanthanide germanotungstate fragments. 1 exhibits antiferromagnetic coupling interactions within the {Cu(3)EuO(4)} cubane units, while 2 and 3 display dominant ferromagnetic interactions between the Tb(III)/Dy(III) and Cu(II) cations. The room-temperature solid-state photoluminescence properties of 1-3 have been investigated.  相似文献

Six 3D architectures based on lanthanide-substituted polyoxometalosilicates, KLn[(H(2)O)(6)Ln](2)[(H(2)O)(4)LnSiW(11)O(39)](2)·nH(2)O (Ln = La 1, n = 42; Ce 2, n = 40), H[(H(2)O)(6)Nd](2)[(H(2)O)(7)Nd][(H(2)O)(4)NdSiW(11)O(39)][(H(2)O)(3)NdSiW(11)O(39)]·13H(2)O (3), H(2)K(2)[(Hpic)(H(2)O)(5)Ln](2)[(H(2)O)(4)LnSiW(11)O(39)](2)·nH(2)O (Ln = La 4, n = 18.5; Ce 5, n = 35; Nd 6, n = 36; Hpic = 4-picolinic acid), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and UV-vis spectroscopy, TG analysis, powder X-ray diffraction and single crystal X-ray diffraction. Compounds 1 and 2 are isostructural, built up of lanthanide-substituted polyoxoanions [{(H(2)O)(4)Ln(SiW(11)O(39))}(2)](10-) linked by Ln(3+) cations to form a 3D open framework with 1D channels. The polyoxoanion [{(H(2)O)(4)Ln(SiW(11)O(39))}(2)](10-) consists of two α(1)-type mono-Ln-substituted Keggin anions. When Nd(3+) ion was used instead of La(3+) or Ce(3+) ions, compound 3 with a different structure was obtained, containing two kinds of polyoxoanions [{(H(2)O)(4)Nd(SiW(11)O(39))}(2)](10-) and [{(H(2)O)(3)Nd(SiW(11)O(39))}(2)](10-) which are connected together by Nd(3+) ions to yield a 3D framework. When 4-picolinic acid was added to the reaction system of 1-3, isostructural compounds 4-6 were obtained, constructed from the polyoxoanions [{(H(2)O)(4)Ln(SiW(11)O(39))}(2)](10-) linked by picolinate-chelated lanthanide centers to form a 3D channel framework. From a topological viewpoint, the 3D nets of 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 exhibit a (3,6)-connected rutile topology, whereas the 3D structure of 3 possesses a rare (3,3,6,10)-connected topology. The magnetic properties of 2, 3, 5 and 6 have been studied by measuring their magnetic susceptibilities in the temperature range 2-300 K.  相似文献

The reaction of aqueous [W3S7(C2O4)3](2-) with Ln(3+) and Th(4+) in a 1:1 molar ratio leads to oxalate-bridged heteropolynuclear molecular complexes and coordination polymers. La(3+) and Ce(3+) give a layered structure with big (about 1.8 nm) honeycomb pores which are filled with water molecules and lanthanide ions, in {[Ln(H2O)6]3[W3S7(C2O4)3]4}Br x xH2O (Ia and Ib). The smaller Pr(3+), Nd(3+), Sm(3+), Eu(3+), and Gd(3+) ions give discrete nanomolecules [(W3S7(C2O4)3Ln(H2O)5)2(mu-C2O4)] (with a separation of about 3.2 nm between the most distant parts of the molecule), which are further united into zigzag chains by specific S2...Br- contacts to achieve the overall stoichiometry K[(W3S7(C2O4)3Ln(H2O)5)2(mu-C2O4)]Br.xH2O (IIa-IId). Th(4+) gives K2[(W3S7(C2O4)3)4Th2(OH)2(H2O)10] x 14.33H2O (III) with a nanosized discrete anion (with a separation of about 2.7 nm between the most distant parts of the molecule), in which two thorium atoms are bound via two hydroxide groups into the Th2(OH)2(6+) unit, and each Th is further coordinated by five water molecules and two monodentate [W3S7(C2O4)](2-) cluster ligands. All compounds were characterized by X-ray structure analysis and IR spectroscopy. Magnetic susceptibility measurements in the temperature range of 2-300 K show weak antiferromagnetic interactions between two lanthanides atoms for compounds IIa, IIb, and IId. The thermal decomposition of Ia, Ib, and IIb was studied by thermogravimetry.  相似文献

3,5-pyrazoledicarboxylic acid (H3L) reacts with nitrate salts of lanthanide(III) (Ln=Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, and Er) under hydrothermal conditions to form a series of lanthanide polymers 1-9. These nine polymers have the same crystal system of monoclinic, but they exhibit three different kinds of metal-organic framework structures. The complexes {[Ln2(HL)3(H2O)4].2H2O}n (Ln=Pr (1), Nd (2), and Sm (3)) were isostructural and exhibited porous 3D frameworks with a Cc space group. The complexes {[Ln2(HL)3(H2O)3].3H2O}n (Ln=Eu (4), Gd (5), and Tb (6)) were isostructural and built 2D double-decker (2DD) frameworks with a P21/c space group. The complexes {[Ln(HL)(H2L)(H2O)2]}n ((Ln=Dy (7), Ho (8), and Er (9)) were also isostructural and formed 2D monolayer (2DM) frameworks with a P21/n space group. The structure variation from the 3D porous framework to the 2D double-decker to the 2D monolayer is attributed to the lanthanide contraction effect. Notably, six new coordination modes of 3,5-pyrazoledicarboxylic acid were observed, which proved that 3,5-pyrazoledicarboxylic acid may be used as an effective bridging ligand to assemble lanthanide-based coordination polymers. The photophysical and magnetic properties have also been investigated.  相似文献

Based on an unsymmetrical 2-pyridylphosphonate ligand, two types of Ln(III)-Cu(II) compounds with three-dimensional structures were obtained under hydrothermal conditions, namely, Ln(2)Cu(3)(C(5)H(4)NPO(3))(6).4H(2)O (1.Ln; Ln=La, Ce, Pr, Nd) and Ln(2)Cu(3)(C(5)H(4)NPO(3))(6) (2.Ln; Ln=Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho). Compounds 1.Ln are isostructural and crystallize in chiral cubic space group I2(1)3. In these structures, each Ln ion is nine-coordinate and has a tricapped triprismatic geometry, while each Cu center is six-coordinate with an octahedral environment. The {LnO(9)} polyhedra and {CuN(2)O(4)} octahedra are connected by edge sharing to form an inorganic open framework structure with a 3-connected 10-gon (10,3) topology in which the Ln and Cu atoms are alternately linked by the phosphonate oxygen atoms. Compounds 2.Ln are isostructural and crystallize in trigonal space group R3. In these structures, the {LnO(6)} octahedra are triply bridged by the {CPO(3)} tetrahedra by corner sharing to form an infinite chain along the c axis. Each chain is connected to its six equivalents through corner sharing of {CPO(3)} tetrahedra and {CuN(2)O(2)} planes to form a three-dimensional framework structure in which the Ln and Cu atoms are linked purely by O-P-O units. The formation of these two types of structures is rationalized by quantum chemical calculations, which showed that both the lanthanide contraction and the electron configuration of Cu(II) play important roles. When Cu(II) was replaced by Zn(II), only the first type of compounds resulted. The magnetic properties of complexes 1.Ln and 2.Ln were investigated. The nature of Ln(III)-Cu(II) (Ln=Ce, Pr, Nd) interactions is illustrated by comparison with their Ln(III)-Zn(II) analogues.  相似文献

Six lanthanide(iii)-2,5-dihydroxy-1,4-benzenedicarboxylate frameworks, namely, [Ln(H(2)-DHBDC)(1.5)(H(2)O)(2)](n) (Ln = La (1) and Pr (2); H(4)-DHBDC = 2,5-dihydroxy-1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid), {[Nd(H(2)-DHBDC)(1.5)(H(2)O)(3)](H(2)O)}(n) (3), {[Eu(H(2)-DHBDC)(NO(3))(H(2)O)(4)](H(2)O)(2)}(n) (4), and {[Ln(2)(H(2)-DHBDC)(2)(DHBDC)(0.5)(H(2)O)(3)](H(2)O)(4)}(n) (Ln = Gd (5) and Dy (6)), with four different structural types ranging from 1D chain, 2D layer to 3D networks have been synthesized and structurally characterized. Compounds La (1) and Pr (2) are isomorphous and exhibit 3D frameworks with the unique 1D tubular channels. Compounds Nd (3) and Eu (4) are 2D layer and 1D zigzag chain, respectively, which are further extended to 3D supramolecular frameworks through extensive hydrogen bonds. Isomorphous compounds of Gd (5) and Dy (6) are 3D frameworks constructed from secondary infinite rod-shaped metal-carboxylate/hydroxyl building blocks. While the hydroxyl groups as secondary functional groups in the 1D chain of Eu (4) and 2D layer of Nd (3) are not bonded to the lanthanide centers, the hydroxyl groups in the 3D frameworks of La (1), Pr (2), Gd (5), and Dy (6) participate in coordinating to lanthanide centers and thus modify the structural types of theses compounds. The magnetic data of compounds Pr (2), Nd (3), Gd (5), and Dy (6) have been investigated in detail. In addition, elemental analysis, IR spectra, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) patterns and thermogravimetric analysis of these compounds are described.  相似文献

This report covers studies in trivalent lanthanide complexation by two simple cyclohexanetriols that are models of the two coordination sites found in sugars and derivatives. Several complexes of trivalent lanthanide ions with cis,cis-1,3,5-trihydroxycyclohexane (L(1)()) and cis,cis-1,2,3-trihydroxycyclohexane (L(2)()) have been characterized in the solid state, and some of them have been studied in organic solutions. With L(1)(), Ln(L)(2) complexes are obtained when crystallization is performed from acetonitrile solutions whatever the nature of the salt (nitrate or triflate) [Ln(L(1)())(2)(NO(3))(2)](NO(3)) (Ln = Pr, Nd); [Ln(L(1)())(2)(NO(3))H(2)O](NO(3))(2) (Ln = Eu, Ho, Yb); [Ln(L(1)())(2)(OTf)(2)(H(2)O)](OTf) (Ln = Nd, Eu). Lanthanum nitrate itself gives a mixed complex [La(L(1)())(2)(NO(3))(2)][LaL(1)()(NO(3))(4)] from acetonitrile solution while [La(L(1)())(2)(NO(3))(2)](NO(3)) is obtained using dimethoxyethane as reaction solvent and crystallization medium. With L(2)(), Ln(L)(2) complexes have also been crystallized from methanol solution [Ln(L(2)())(2)(NO(3))(2)]NO(3), (Ln = Pr, Nd, Eu). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses are reported for these complexes. Complex formation in solution has been studied for several triflate salts (La, Pr, Nd, Eu, and Yb) with L(1 )()and L(2)(), respectively in acetonitrile and in methanol. In contrast to the solid state, both structures Ln(L) and Ln(L)(2) equilibrate in solution, as was demonstrated by low-temperature (1)H NMR and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry experiments. Competing experiments in complexing abilities of L(1)() and L(2)() with trivalent lanthanide cations have shown that only L(2)() exhibits a small selectivity (Nd > Pr > Yb > La > Eu) in methanol.  相似文献

The reaction between Ln(NO3)3*xH2O, Cs3[W(V)(CN)8]*H2O and 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine (terpy) leads to the original isomorphous cyano-bridged [Ln(III)(terpy)(DMF)4][W(V)(CN)8] *6H2O [Ln = Gd (1), Sm (2)] 1-D chains. The crystal structures of {Ln(III)W(V)} chains and consist of alternating {[W(CN)8]} and {[Ln(terpy)]} building blocks. The neighbouring 1-D chains are weakly linked through pi-pi stacking interactions of the aromatic rings leading to 2-D supramolecular layers. The layers are linked through hydrogen bonds between H2O molecules and terminal cyano ligands. Magnetic studies revealed a weak antiferromagnetic coupling (J = -2.3(2) K) within the {Gd(III)W(V)} chains in . The positive effective coupling constant J = +2.0(5) K between the total angular momentum of the Sm(III) centre and the spin of the W(v) ion is equivalent to an antiferromagnetic character of the spin coupling between both centres in the {Sm(III)W(V)} chains of 2. The magnetic measurements suggest that they display an isolated magnetic chain behaviour.  相似文献

Three novel extended vanadogermanates, {[(en)(2)Cd(2)Ge(8)V(12)O(40)(OH)(8)(H(2)O)][Cd(en)(2)](2)}·6H(2)O (1), {[Zn(2)(dap)(3)][Zn(dap)](2)Ge(6)V(15)O(48)(H(2)O)}[Zn(dap)(2)(H(2)O)](2)·3H(2)O (2), and {[Cd(3)(μ-dien)(2)(Hdien)(2)(H(2)O)(2)]Ge(4)V(16)O(42)(OH)(4)(H(2)O)}·2H(2)O (3; en=ethylenediamine, dap=1,2-diaminopropane, dien=diethylenetriamine), have been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, powder XRD, thermogravimetric analysis, and single-crystal XRD. Their Ge-V-O cluster anions are derived from the V(18)O(42) cluster shell by replacing VO(5) square pyramids with Ge(2)O(7) groups. Compound 1 exhibits a 1D sinusoidal chain built up from rare inorganic-organic hybrid dicadmium-substituted vanadogermanate {[Cd(en)](2)V(12)O(40)(GeOH)(8)(H(2)O)} clusters and [Cd(en)(2)] complexes. Compound 2 is the first example of a 2D network based on linkage of the unusual {Ge(6)V(15)O(48)(H(2)O)} clusters and two types of Zn complex fragments. Compound 3 is an unprecedented 3D framework built by {Ge(4)V(16)O(42)(OH)(4)(H(2)O)} clusters and rare trinuclear bridging complex cations [Cd(3)(μ-dien)(2)(Hdien)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](8+). Magnetic measurements illustrate that both 1 and 2 have antiferromagnetic exchange interactions between metal centers, whereas 3 exhibits ferrimagnetic behavior, which is rare in polyoxovanadate complexes.  相似文献

A sulfonate-carboxylate ligand, 4,8-disulfonyl-2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid (H(4)-DSNDA), and eight new lanthanide coordination polymers {[Pr(4)(OH)(4)(DSNDA)(2)(H(2)O)(12)](H(2)O)(10)}(n) (1), [Ln(H(2)-DSNDA)(0.5)(DSNDA)(0.5)(H(2)O)(5)](n) (Ln = La(2), Nd(3), Sm(4), Eu(5), Gd(6), and Dy(7)), and {[Er(H-DSNDA)(H(2)O)(4)](H(2)O)}(n) (8) have been synthesized. Detailed crystal structures of these compounds have been investigated. Compound 1 has a 3D framework featuring the unique cubane-shaped [Pr(4)(μ(3)-OH)(4)] clusters and is a binodal 4,8-connected network with (4(16)·6(12))(4(4)·6(2))(2) topology. Compounds 2-7 are isostructural and have 2D layered structures. Compound 8 is also a 2D layer but belongs to different structural types. The luminescence behavior of compound Eu(5) shows that the π-rich aromatic organic ligands efficiently transfer the absorbed light energy to the Eu(III) ions, thus enhancing the overall luminescent properties of compound Eu(5). The magnetic properties of all compounds except for the diamagnetic La(2) compound have been investigated. In addition, elemental analysis, IR spectra, and thermogravimetric analysis of these compounds are also described.  相似文献
