Lifetime and g-factor measurements have been made with pulsed beam-γ time-differential techniques using the 89Y(α, 2n)91Nb and 88Sr(α, n)91Zr reactions. A mean lifetime τ = 14.4 ± 0.5 nsec and a g-factor of 1.26 ± 0.04 were obtained for the 132? 1985 keV level in 91Nb and τ = 41.9 ± 1.2 nsec and g = 0.70 ± 0.01 were obtained for the 152? 2288 keV level in 91Zr. These results are compared to theoretical calculations for g92)2p12) and g92)(πp12)(vd52) configurations in 91Nb and 91Zr, respectively.  相似文献

The branching ratios are calculated for 11ΛB decay to the 11C ground and excited states below 8 MeV for two possible spin values of 11ΛB. It is found that the decay rate to the 11C state at E = 6.48 MeV is comparable in magnitude to that leading to the 11C ground state if J(11ΛB) = 52 is assumed. This result, unlike the branching ratios calculated for the J(11ΛB) = 72 case, is in accord with experiment and lends support to the assumption that J = 52 holds for 11ΛB. The necessity of the reinterpretation of some of the so-called 13ΛC events in terms of 11ΛB → π? + 11C1 is indicated.  相似文献

The time-differential perturbed angular distribution method was used to determine the g-factors of the (f72)3192? states in 43Ti and 43Sc. The results for the mass 43 mirror pair are: 43Ti: g = 0.760 ± 0.001, T12, = 560 ± 6 ns, 43Sc: g = 0.3286± 0.0007, T12 = 473 ± 5 ns. Considering in addition the magnetic moments in A = 41 and 42, it is suggested that the deformed states considered by Johnstone and Castel and by Erikson are responsible for the observed large deviations from the Schmidt values.  相似文献

The g-factor of the 480 ns, 9? isomer at 2.237 MeV in 200Pb was measured by the time-differential perturbed angular distribution method. The result, g = ?0.0285±0.0011 confirms the rather pure (f52?1i132?1) quasiparticle structure of this state. Half-lives of 480±20 ns, 43±3 ns and 42±4 ns have been measured for the 2237 keV 9?, 2154 keV 7? states in 200Pb and the 2208 keV state in 202Pb, respectively; E2 transitions and g-factors of negative-parity states in even, neutron-deficient Pb isotopes are discussed.  相似文献

A magnetic dipole core polarization was studied by investigating a magnetic moment of the 1117 keV 1h112 single-proton state in 141Pr. The 139La(α, 2nγ)141Pr reaction was used to populate the 1h112 state with spin aligned in a plane perpendicular to the beam axis. The magnetic moment was obtained by measuring perturbed angular distributions of the 972 keV gamma rays from the 1h112 state. The g-factor of the 1h112 state in 141Pr was determined to be g = 1.30 ± 0.08. The isovector spin g-factor was deduced from the present result and the data for 1h112. neutron states. It is gs?effgs?free = 0.45 ± 0.1. The reduction is explaine spin-isospin (M1) core polarization.The isovector M1 core polarization factor (nuclear M1 susceptibility) is found to be one third of the M2 core polarization factor (nuclear M2 susceptibility) for the 1h112 state.  相似文献

The disagreement of Danyluk and King's (Chem. Phys.25, 343 (1977)) rotational constants for levels lying near the dissociation limit of B-state I2 with the mechanical behavior predicted by near-dissociation theory is investigated. The discrepancies are shown to be much too large to be explained by either the neglect of centrifugal distortion effects in the original analysis or by rotational or spin-rotation coupling to a nearby repulsive 1u state. These differences are therefore attributed to experimental error, a conclusion which is confirmed by more recent experimental results. A reanalysis of the best available data for levels near the dissociation limit of B-state I2 then yields improved values for the B-state dissociation limit D = 20 043.16 (±0.02) cm?1 of the vibrational index at dissociation vD = 87.32 (±0.04) and of the long-range potential constant C5 = 2.88 (±0.03) × 105cm?1A?5. This in turn implies a slightly improved ground-state dissociation energy of D0 = 12 440.18 (±0.02) cm?1.  相似文献

At helium temperatures two sharp lines at 9350 and 9510 cm?1 have been observed for the first tune on the low-energy side of the broad double-peaked absorption corresponding to the 5T2g5Eg transition in Fe2+ at the octahedral site in MgO. The lower energy line has a half width of 4 cm?1; Zeeman measurements show that it is of magnetic dipole origin. The Zeeman spectra are consistent with those expected for a pure electronic transition from the (5T2g)T2g ground state to the 5Eg excited state. The second line, with a halfwidth of ~ 35 cm?1, a vibrational sideband.  相似文献

A red-degraded band head, normally badly overlapped by the gamma system, A3Φ - X′ 3Δ, of zirconium oxide, appears in emission spectra of zirconium arcs and in absorption spectra of S-type stars and of frozen rare gas matrices containing zirconium. The emission band has been examined at high-resolution with the aid of separated zirconium isotopes. Identification of the band as 0-0 of a 1Π - X 1Σ+ system of zirconium oxide is confirmed by rotational analysis where the following constants (cm?1) are obtained for 90Zr16O:
B0′(R,P) = 0.40142 D0′(R,P) = 3.51 × 10?7
B0′(Q) = 0.40166 D0′(Q) =3.52 × 10?7
B0″ = 0.42263 D0″ =3.19 × 10?7
ν0 = 15383.81s

The excitation function of the 12C(α, γ0) reaction at θ = 90° has been remeasured for bombarding energies between 6.5 and 8.5 MeV. The measurement was made to resolve discrepancies apparent in earlier measurements relating to the absolute cross section, the location of the lower 1? resonance near 7.05 MeV (16O excitation energy 12.44 MeV) and to the relative peak cross sections of this resonance and a second 1? resonance at 7.88 MeV.  相似文献

The (0,0) band of the B′Σu? → B3Πg emission (Infrared Afterglow) system of molecular nitrogen has been recorded with a resolution of 0.046 cm?1 and a line position accuracy of 0.007 cm?1. Six hundred and seventy-two lines are tabulated into a line list for the 1.53 μm (low-resolution) emission feature. Of these, 482 are assigned as members of the 27 branches of the B′ → B transition, while 150 are identified with the 1PG (3,6) band. Molecular constants for the v = 0 levels of the B′3Σu? and B3Πg states have been computed and tabulated.  相似文献

Differential cross sections for 87Sr(d, t)86Sr transitions to the (1g92)?2 states of 86Sr were obtained with the Pittsburgh 18 MeV deuteron beam and the Enge split-pole spectrograph. States of 86Sr up to 3.82 MeV in excitation were studied with a total resolution of 12 keV. Successful distorted-wave Born approximation (DWBA) predictions for 87Sr(d, t) 86Sr angular distributions permitted the extraction of l-values and spectroscopic strengths. The sum-rule value agrees with the observed value for the (1g92)?2 configuration. The observed g92 strength is spread over 13 states. Contrary to an earlier interpretation, the 0+ ground state is found to contain only 65% of the (g92)20+ strength. Similarly, the full 4+ strength is not located in a single state. The new data change the interpretation of the (g92)?2 spectrum of 86Sr. They significantly alter the deduced low-spin matrix elements and bring them into much closer agreement with those derived from 88Y. Several new negative-parity states dominated by l = 1 orbital angular momentum transfer have also been identified.  相似文献

We have measured the Overhauser enhancement of the protons and the 19F-nuclei of the one-dimensional conductor (perylene)+2PF-6·23THF in its metallic phase at room temperature. The enhancement factor V was found to be VP=+320±20 for the protons and VF=+175±40 for the 19F-nuclei indicating a predominantly scalar interaction with the conduction electrons in both cases.  相似文献

The g-factor and mean lifetime of the first-excited 2+ state at 1.67 MeV in 20O have been determined by means of a plunger set-up. The state was populated by the 3H(18O, pγ)20O reaction at E(18O) = 24.5 MeV. The analysis of p-γ anisotropies as a function of flight path of the recoiling ion in vacuum leads to a value for the g-factor of |g| = 0.352±0.015 and to a mean life of τ = 10.7±0.4 ps.  相似文献

Candidates for the purely leptonic process νμe?νμe? have been searched for in the bubble chamber Gargamelle exposed to the CERN-SPS antineutrino wide-band beam. No single e?, of energy greater than 1 GeV, was found in a total of 230 000 pictures, corresponding to 7400 charged current events. This leads to an upper limit for the observed cross section of σobs < 1.6 × 10?42 (Eν?GeV) cm2 (90% C.L.). Interpretation of this value in terms of the standard W Weinberg-Salam model yields an upper limit to the mixing parameter sin2θW < 0.39 at 90% C.L.  相似文献

Levels of the N = 81 nucleus 145Gd have been investigated by in-beam γ-ray and conversion electron spectroscopy with the 144Sm(3He, 2n) reaction. Fourteen new low- and medium-spin states between 1.0 and 2.4 MeV excitation, the known yrast levels up to spin 212+, five other high-spin non-yrast states and a new 20.4 ns 132 isomer at 2200.2 keV in 145Gd have been observed. The isomer decays via a fast 927.3 keV E3 transition with B(E3) = 48 ± 7 W.u. Another weaker decay branch is a mixed, strongly hindered E1 + M2 + E3 transition to the vh?1112 state. We propose an octupole vf72j?2 × 3? main configuration for the isomer, analogous to the 997 keV 132+ isomer in 147Gd. The levels of 145Gd are discussed on the basis of the spherical shell model.  相似文献

Magnetic dipole transitions between the 2Π12 and 2Π32 components of the ground electronic state of BrO have been detected using the technique of laser magnetic resonance on three CO2 laser lines between 964 and 970 cm?1. This is the first direct observation of the 2Π12 state in BrO. The spin-orbit splitting parameter, A, is determined to be ?967.9831(2) cm?1 for 79Br16O and ?967.9981(2) cm?1 for 81Br16O. Accurate values for the rotational constant Beff(2Π12), the hyperfine parameters (bF + 2c3) and d, the Λ-doubling parameter p, and the Zeeman parameter g| are also determined from an analysis of the measured spectra.  相似文献

The dependence of the low-lying spectra of Λ, Σ9Be hypernuclei on hyperon-α interaction in the molecular α + α + Λ(Σ) scheme has been studied. A suggestion is made for obtaining the strengths of both p-wave and spin-orbit Λ-α interactions from the experimental Λ9Be spectrum. A relation between the Σ0-binding energies BΣ(Σ9Be) and BΣ(Σ9He) has been established and on its basis a prediction is made about a possible binding energy of Σ5He.  相似文献
