Here, we construct rational solutions to the KdV equation by particular polynomials. We get the solutions in terms of determinants of the order $n$ for any positive integer $n$, and we call these solutions, solutions of the order $n$. Therefore, we obtain a very efficient method to get rational solutions to the KdV equation, and we can construct explicit solutions very easily. In the following, we present some solutions until order $10$.  相似文献

Making use of the theory of symmetry transformations in PDEs we construct new solutions of a 2 + 1 dimensional integrable model in the BKP hierarchy.

First, we analyze its reductions and we obtain a BKP equation independent on time. Starting with a solution of this equation we find a family of solutions of the 2 + 1 dimensional BKP equation. These solutions depend on three arbitrary functions on t.

On the other hand, new solutions can also be constructed by applying some elements of the symmetry group to known solutions of the model.

We observed that the solutions found by using both approaches describe interesting processes. Among these solutions we present source and sink solutions, solutions describing the creation or the diffusion (or both) of a breather, finite time blow-up processes, finite time source solutions, line solitons and coherent structures moving at arbitrary velocities.  相似文献

A major obstacle in the existing models of forward dynamic utilities and investment performance evaluation is to establish the existence and uniqueness of the optimal solutions. Consequently, we present a new model of forward dynamic utilities. In doing so, we establish the existence and uniqueness of the solutions for a general (smooth) utility function, and we show that the assumptions needed for such solutions are similar to those under the backward formulation. Moreover, we provide unique viscosity solutions. We also provide discontinuous viscosity solutions. In addition, we introduce Hausdorff-continuous viscosity solutions to the portfolio model.  相似文献

In this article, we study a sequence of finite difference approximate solutions to a parabolic system, which models two dissimilar rods that may come into contact as a result of thermoelastic expansion. We construct the approximate solutions based on a set of finite difference schemes to the system, and we will prove that the approximate solutions converge strongly to the exact solutions. Moreover, we obtain and prove rigorously the error bound, which measures the difference between the exact solutions and approximate solutions in a reasonable norm. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. We study the solutions of a particular family of Painlevé VI equations with parameters and , for . We show that in the case of half-integer , all solutions can be written in terms of known functions and they are of two types: a two-parameter family of solutions found by Picard and a new one-parameter family of classical solutions which we call Chazy solutions. We give explicit formulae for them and completely determine their asymptotic behaviour near the singular points and their nonlinear monodromy. We study the structure of analytic continuation of the solutions to the PVI equation for any such that . As an application, we classify all the algebraic solutions. For half-integer, we show that they are in one to one correspondence with regular polygons or star-polygons in the plane. For integer, we show that all algebraic solutions belong to a one-parameter family of rational solutions. In this paper we consider a special fifth-order KdV equation with constant coefficients and we obtain traveling wave solutions for it, using the projective Riccati equation method. By mean of a scaling, exact solutions to general Kaup-Kupershmidt (KK) equation are obtained. As a particular case, exact solutions to standard KK equation can be derived. Using the same method, we obtain exact solutions to standard Ito equation. By mean of scaling, new exact solutions to general Ito equation are formally derived.  相似文献

In this Letter, we study (2 + 1)-dimensional soliton equation by using the bifurcation theory of planar dynamical systems. Following a dynamical system approach, in different parameter regions, we depict phase portraits of a travelling wave system. Bell profile solitary wave solutions, kink profile solitary wave solutions and periodic travelling wave solutions are given. Further, we present the relations between the bounded travelling wave solutions and the energy level h. Through discussing the energy level h, we obtain all explicit formulas of solitary wave solutions and periodic wave solutions.  相似文献

In this paper,we focus on studying approximate solutions of damped oscillatory solutions of the compound KdV-Burgers equation and their error estimates.We employ the theory of planar dynamical systems to study traveling wave solutions of the compound KdV-Burgers equation.We obtain some global phase portraits under different parameter conditions as well as the existence of bounded traveling wave solutions.Furthermore,we investigate the relations between the behavior of bounded traveling wave solutions and the dissipation coefficient r of the equation.We obtain two critical values of r,and find that a bounded traveling wave appears as a kink profile solitary wave if |r| is greater than or equal to some critical value,while it appears as a damped oscillatory wave if |r| is less than some critical value.By means of analysis and the undetermined coefficients method,we find that the compound KdV-Burgers equation only has three kinds of bell profile solitary wave solutions without dissipation.Based on the above discussions and according to the evolution relations of orbits in the global phase portraits,we obtain all approximate damped oscillatory solutions by using the undetermined coefficients method.Finally,using the homogenization principle,we establish the integral equations reflecting the relations between exact solutions and approximate solutions of damped oscillatory solutions.Moreover,we also give the error estimates for these approximate solutions.  相似文献

The aim of this two-part paper is to investigate the stability properties of a special class of solutions to a coagulation-fragmentation equation. We assume that the coagulation kernel is close to the diagonal kernel, and that the fragmentation kernel is diagonal. In a companion paper we constructed a two-parameter family of stationary solutions concentrated in Dirac masses, and we carefully studied the asymptotic decay of the tails of these solutions, showing that this behaviour is stable. In this paper we prove that for initial data which are sufficiently concentrated, the corresponding solutions approach one of these stationary solutions for large times.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a Lotka–Volterra prey–predator model with cross-diffusion of fractional type. The main purpose is to discuss the existence and nonexistence of positive steady state solutions of such a model. Here a positive solution corresponds to a coexistence state of the model. Firstly we study the stability of the trivial and semi-trivial solutions by analyzing the principal eigenvalue of the corresponding linearized system. Secondly we derive some necessary conditions to ensure the existence of positive solutions, which demonstrate that if the intrinsic growth rate of the prey is too small or the death rate (or the birth rate) of the predator is too large, the model does not possess positive solutions. Thirdly we study the sufficient conditions to ensure the existence of positive solutions by using degree theory. Finally we characterize the stable/unstable regions of semi-trivial solutions and coexistence regions in parameter plane.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss the existence of weak solutions to the initial and boundary value problem of a class of nonlinear degenerate parabolic equations in non-divergence form. Applying the method of parabolic regularization, we prove the existence of weak solutions to the problem. By carefully analyzing the approximate solutions to the problem, we make a series of estimates to the solutions and prove the weak convergence of the approximation solution sequence. In this paper, we investigated vector equilibrium problems and gave the scalarization results for weakly efficient solutions, Henig efficient solutions, and globally efficient solutions to the vector equilibrium problems without the convexity assumption. Using nonsmooth analysis and the scalarization results, we provided the necessary conditions for weakly efficient solutions, Henig efficient solutions, globally efficient solutions, and superefficient solutions to vector equilibrium problems. By the assumption of convexity, we gave sufficient conditions for those solutions. As applications, we gave the necessary and sufficient conditions for corresponding solutions to vector variational inequalities and vector optimization problems.  相似文献

In the present paper, we study the initial boundary value problem of the sublinear parabolic equation. We prove the existence of solutions and investigate the stability and instability of stationary solutions. We show that a unique positive and a unique negative stationary solutions are exponentially stable and give the exact exponent. We prove that small stationary solutions are unstable. For one space dimensional autonomous equations, we elucidate the structure of stationary solutions and study the stability of all stationary solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the dynamics of predator-prey interaction systems between two species with ratio-dependent functional responses. First we provide sufficient and necessary conditions for positive steady-state solutions, and then we investigate the relationships between positive equilibria and positive solutions of the system over a large domain. Furthermore, we deal with the uniqueness and the stability of positive steady-states solutions with some assumptions. We study the blow-up solutions for the Davey–Stewartson system(D–S system, for short)in L2x(R2). First, we give the nonlinear profile decomposition of solutions for the D–S system. Then, we prove the existence of minimal mass blow-up solutions. Finally, by using the characteristic of minimal mass blow-up solutions, we obtain the limiting profile and a precisely mass concentration of L2 blow-up solutions for the D–S system.  相似文献

In this paper, we first reduce the existence of traveling wave solutions in a delayed lattice competition-cooperation system to the existence of a pair of upper and lower solutions by means of Schauder’s fixed point theorem and the cross iteration scheme, and then we construct a pair of upper and lower solutions to obtain the existence and nonexistence of traveling wave solutions. In this work, the initial-boundary value problem for a class of semilinear reaction-diffusion systems is considered. By an abstract fixed point theorem on positive cone together with an accurate a priori estimate, we establish the coexistence of the positive stationary solutions and the uniqueness of ordered positive stationary solutions. We consider a Lotka-Volterra prey-predator model with cross-diffusion and Holling type-II functional response.The main concern is the existence of positive solutions under the combined effect of cross-diffusion and Holling type-II functional response.Here,a positive solution corresponds to a coexistence state of the model.Firstly,we study the sufficient conditions to ensure the existence of positive solutions by using degree theory and analyze the coexistence region in parameter plane.In addition,we present the uniqueness of positive solutions in one dimension case.Secondly,we study the stability of the trivial and semi-trivial solutions by analyzing the principal eigenvalue of the corresponding linearized system,and then we characterize the stable/unstable regions of semi-trivial solutions in parameter plane.  相似文献

In this paper, by using a monotone iterative technique in the presence of lower and upper solutions, we discuss the existence of solutions for a new system of nonlinear mixed type implicit impulsive integro-differential equations in Banach spaces. Under wide monotonicity conditions and the noncompactness measure conditions, we also obtain the existence of extremal solutions and a unique solution between lower and upper solutions.  相似文献
