The Isomorphism Theorem of Regular Bisimple ω2-semigroups

In this paper we study the isomorphisms of two regular bisimple ω2- semigroups and obtain a criterion for two such semigroups to be isomorphic.     

Random intersections of thick Cantor sets

Let , be Cantor sets embedded in the real line, and let , be their respective thicknesses. If , then it is well known that the difference set is a disjoint union of closed intervals. B. Williams showed that for some , it may be that is as small as a single point. However, the author previously showed that generically, the other extreme is true; contains a Cantor set for all in a generic subset of . This paper shows that small intersections of thick Cantor sets are also rare in the sense of Lebesgue measure; if , then contains a Cantor set for almost all in .

设Cλ是由迭代函数系统(IFS){f1,f2}生成的对称Cantor集,其中f1(x)=λx, f2(x)=1-λ+λx,0<λ<1/2,x∈[0,1]．在压缩比λ满足一定条件时,本文得到了Cλ与其自身的笛卡尔乘积Cλ×Cλ的Hausdorff中心测度的计算公式．     

On multifractal of Cantor dust

We consider quasi-self-similar measures with respect to all real numbers on a Cantor dust. We define a local index function on the real numbers for each quasi-self-similar measure at each point in a Cantor dust, The value of the local index function at the real number zero for all the quasi-self-similar measures at each point is the weak local dimension of the point. We also define transformed measures of a quasi-self-similar measure which are closely related to the local index function. We compute the local dimensions of transformed measures of a quasi-self-similar measure to find the multifractal spectrum of the quasi-self-similar measure, Furthermore we give an essential example for the theorem of local dimension of transformed measure. In fact, our result is an ultimate generalization of that of a self- similar measure on a self-similar Cantor set. Furthermore the results also explain the recent results about weak local dimensions on a Cantor dust.     

New primitive whose degree is a Mersenne exponent

All primitive trinomials over with degree 859433 (which is the 33rd Mersenne exponent) are presented. They are and its reciprocal. Also two examples of primitive pentanomials over with degree 86243 (which is the 28th Mersenne exponent) are presented. The sieve used is briefly described.

     

A New Estimate for Bochner-Riesz Operators at the Critical Index on Weighted Hardy Spaces

Let w be a Muckenhoupt weight and Hwp （JRn） be the weighted Hardy space. In this paper, by using the atomic decomposition of Hwp（Rn）, we will show that the Bochner-Riesz operators TRδ are bounded from Hwp（Rn） to the weighted weak Hardy spaces WHwp （Rn） for 0 〈 p 〈 1 and δ = n/p- （n ＋ 1）/2. This result is new even in the unweighted case.     

ON L2 ERROR ESTIMATE FOR WEAK GALERKIN FINITE ELEMENT METHODS FOR PARABOLIC PROBLEMS

A weak Galerkin finite element method with stabilization term, which is symmetric, positive definite and parameter free, was proposed to solve parabolic equations by using weakly defined gradient operators over discontinuous functions. In this paper, we derive the optimal order error estimate in L2 norm based on dual argument. Numerical experiment is conducted to confirm the theoretical results.     

Crossed Products over Weak Hopf Algebras Related to Cleft Extensions and Cohomology

The authors present the general theory of cleft extensions for a cocommutative weak Hopf algebra H.For a right H-comodule algebra,they obtain a bijective correspondence between the isomorphisms classes of H-cleft extensions AH → A,where AH is the subalgebra of coinvariants,and the equivalence classes of crossed systems for H over AH.Finally,they establish a bijection between the set of equivalence classes of crossed systems with a fixed weak H-module algebra structure and the second cohomology group HφZ(AH)2(H,Z(AH)),where Z(AH)is the center of AH.     

ERROR ESTIMATION FOR NUMERICAL METHODS USING THE ULTRA WEAK VARIATIONAL FORMULATION IN MODEL OF NEAR FIELD SCATTERING PROBLEM

In this paper, we investigate the use of ultra weak variational formulation to solve a wave scattering problem in near field optics. In order to capture the sub-scale features of waves, we utilize evanescent wave functions together with plane wave functions to approximate the local properties of the field. We analyze the global convergence and give an error estimation of the method. Numerical examples are also presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the strategy.     

On Singularity of Energy Measures on Self-Similar Sets II

We provide a criterion for the energy measures of regular Dirichletforms on post-critically finite self-similar sets to be singularwith respect to every self-similar measure. Measures not charging polar sets and Schrödinger equations in L p

We study the SchrSdinger equation （q -￡）u ＋μu = f, where ￡ is the generator of a Borel right process and μ is a signed measure on the state space. We prove the existence and uniqueness results in Lp, 1 ≤p 〈∞ . Since we consider measures μcharging no polar set, we have to use new tools： the Revuz formula with fine versions and the appropriate Revuz correspondence, the perturbation （subordination） operators （in the sense of G Mokobodzki） induced by the regular strongly supermedian kernels. We extend the results on the SchrSdinger equation to the case of a strongly continuous sub-Markovian resolvent of contractions on Lp. If the measure μ is positive then the perturbed process solves the martingale problem for ￡- μ and its transition semigroup is given by the Feynman-Kac formula associated with the left continuous additive functional having μ as Revuz measure.     

A Local Property of Hausdorff Centered Measure of Self-Similar Sets

We analyze the local behavior of the Hausdorff centered measure for selfsimilar sets. If E is a self-similar set satisfying the open set condition, then Cs(E∩B(x,r)) ≤(2r)s for all x ∈ E and r 0, where Csdenotes the s-dimensional Hausdorff centered measure. The above inequality is used to obtain the upper bound of the Hausdorff centered measure. As the applications of above inequality, We obtained the upper bound of the Hausdorff centered measure for some self-similar sets with Hausdorff dimension equal to 1, and prove that the upper bound reach the exact Hausdorff centered measure.     

Analyticity and Riesz basis property of semigroups associated to damped vibrations

Second order equations of the form are considered. Such equations are often used as a model for transverse motions of thin beams in the presence of damping. We derive various properties of the operator matrix associated with the second order problem above. We develop sufficient conditions for analyticity of the associated semigroup and for the existence of a Riesz basis consisting of eigenvectors and associated vectors of in the phase space.

Refinement of strong multiplicity one for automorphic representations of

We state a qualitative form of strong multiplicity one for . We derive refinements of strong multiplicity one for automorphic representations arising from Eisenstein series associated to a Borel subgroup on , and for the cuspidal representations on induced from idele class characters of cyclic extensions of prime degree. These results are in accordance with a conjecture of D. Ramakrishnan. We also show that Ramakrishnan's conjecture follows from a weak form of Ramanujan's conjecture. We state a conjecture concerning the structural aspects of refinements of strong multiplicity one for a pair of general automorphic representations.

ON WEAK MINIMUM ABERRATION AND NUMBER OF CLEAR TWO-FACTOR INTERACTION COMPONENTS IN s_Ⅳ～(m-p) DESIGNS

This article obtains some theoretical results on the number of clear two-factor interaction components and weak minimum aberration in an s_Ⅳ～(m-p) design,by considering the number of not clear two-factor interaction components of the design.     

On cardinal characteristics of Yorioka ideals

Yorioka introduced a class of ideals (parametrized by reals) on the Cantor space to prove that the relation between the size of the continuum and the cofinality of the strong measure zero ideal on the real line cannot be decided in . We construct a matrix iteration of c.c.c. posets to force that, for many ideals in that class, their associated cardinal invariants (i.e., additivity, covering, uniformity and cofinality) are pairwise different. In addition, we show that, consistently, the additivity and cofinality of Yorioka ideals does not coincide with the additivity and cofinality (respectively) of the ideal of Lebesgue measure zero subsets of the real line.
