Two coumarin-based spiropyran derivatives were synthesized and characterized in two steps to explore their photochromic properties. Both prepared compounds are sensitive to UV light and change colors upon irradiation. The resulting photogenerated zwitterions revert to the original compounds while being heated. A new family of organic photochromic colorants is introduced.  相似文献

Photoinduced proton transfer systems such as 2‐(2′,4′‐dinitrobenzyl)pyridine derivatives have been developed in an attempt to apply the compounds to variable optical transmission materials. However their fatigue resistance property is a limitation for these applications. New benzylpyridines have been synthesized and tested. 2‐(2′,4′‐Diphenylsulfonybenzyl)pyridine was found to be photochromic in the crystalline state and in ethanolic solution (λmax= 485 nm) upon UV flash photolysis.  相似文献

Conclusions An x-ray diffraction structural study was carried out for the photochromic spirpyran 1,3,3-trimethyl-5-nitrospiro(indoline-2,2-[2H-1]-benzopyran). We report a fabrication of field-effect transistors using the new organic semiconductors octathio[8]circulene and tetrathiotetraseleno[8]circulene . The maximum hole mobility of 9 x 10(-3) cm(2) V(-1) s(-1) is, most likely, limited by one-dimensional growth of and in thin films.  相似文献

Structural assignments are based on NMR studies and the EPR spectrum of the radical species was recorded. A computer search for new photoactive compounds among indoline spiropyrans of coumarin series was carried out using DFT B3LYP/6-31G(d,p) method. Based on the data obtained, the spiropyrans containing a formylcoumarin fragment annulated to the 2H-pyran ring and possessing photochromic properties were synthesized. The structure and photochromism of these compounds were studied by 1H NMR, IR, and UV/Vis spectroscopy. The introduction of a formyl group into the coumarin moiety of spiropyrans led to a bathochromic shift of the long wavelength absorption maxima of merocyanine isomers, as well as to a considerable increase in their lifetime.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] Novel spiroheterocyclic molecules, namely, 2,3-dihydro-2-spiro-7'-[8'-imino-7',8'-dihydronaphthalen-1'-amine]perimidine, PNI, and 2,3-dihydro-2-spiro-4'-[8'-aminonaphthalen-1'(4H)-one]perimidine, PNO-p, were obtained by oxidation of 1,8-diaminonaphthalene using manganese dioxide. These molecules exhibit thermally reversible photochromism with good photofatigue resistance, and their photogenerated forms possess broad absorption in the visible region.  相似文献

4,6-Diaryl-2-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)-nicotinonitriles 2a-k and 3-amino-2,4-dicyano-5-aryl-biphenyls 3a-c were synthesized from 1,3-diaryl-prop-2-en-1-ones 1a-k and malononitrile by a convenient one-pot method. Likewise, the reaction of aromatic aldehydes with malononitrile afforded 6-amino-4-aryl-2-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)-pyridine-3,5-dicarbonitriles 6a-f. The reaction of mesityl oxide with malononitrile gave 5-amino-7-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)-2,4,4-trimethyl-1,4-dihydro-1,6-naphthyridine-8-carbonitrile 8. The NLO studies of the pyridinedinitrile derivatives 6a, b, f showed a high value while that of nicotinonitrile 2b was weak.  相似文献

A new unsymmetrical photochromic diarylethene, namely1-[2-methyl-5-(p-N,N-dimethylaminophenyl)-3-thienyl]-2-[2-methyl-5-(3-methoxylphenyl)-3-thienyl] perfluorocyclopentene (1a), was synthesized. The compound showed good photochromism, high sensitivity and remarkable fatigue-resistance both in solution and in poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) matrix with UV/Vis light irradiation. The absorption maximum of its closed-ring isomer was observed at 624 nm in PMMA amorphous film. It is a nice match for the wavelength of the recording laser (633 nm). Using this target compound as recording medium, four types of polarization holographic optical recordings were performed successfully using a He-Ne laser. The results showed that only the orthogonal circular polarization recording could obtain a hologram with high diffraction efficiency and high signal-to noise-ratio. With multiplexing recording technology, three types of polarization multiplexing holographic optical recordings, including angular multiplexing, polarization multiplexing, and angular plus polarization multiplexing holographic recording, were also carried out perfectly based on its photoinduced anisotropic phenomenon accompanying the photochromic reaction by photoirradiation. The results demonstrate that the multiplexing recording technology is an effective method to improve recording capacity when using diarylethene 1 as recording medium.  相似文献

Eight tridentate bipyrazole derivatives with different side arms have been prepared in one step and with good yields. The products were screened for their cytotoxic activity against three tumor cell lines—human breast cancer cell line MDA-MB231, human prostate cancer cell line PC3, and human colorectal cell line LoVo, by use of colorimetric MTT assay. Structure–activity relationships reflected the effect of substituted drugs. Among this series, two compounds had remarkable in-vitro antiproliferative activity against the LoVo cell line with IC50 values ranging from 2.6 to 2.7 μg ml?1. All the compounds had suitable drug-like characteristics according to Lipinski’s rule.  相似文献

New photochromic diarylethenes 1a, 2a and 3a bearing a pyrazole unit have been synthesized. Their properties, including photochromic reactivity, fluorescence and electrochemical properties were investigated. These compounds showed good photochromic properties, high cycloreversion quantum yield and relatively strong fluorescence. The cycloreversion quantum yields of 1a, 2a and 3a are 0.46, 0.53 and 0.57, respectively, which are larger than those of their cyclization quantum yields (0.43, 0.45 and 0.47, respectively). The oxidations of diarylethenes 1a, 2a and 3a were initiated at 0.73, 1.11 and 0.79 V, respectively. Moreover, the position of the methoxyl substituent had remarkable impacts on the above optical and electrochemical properties.  相似文献
