We give a characterization of exponentiable monomorphisms in the categories of ω-complete posets, of directed complete posets and of continuous directed complete posets as those monotone maps f that are convex and that lift an element (and then a queue) of any directed set (ω-chain in the case of ) whose supremum is in the image of f (Theorem 1.9). Using this characterization, we obtain that a monomorphism f:X→B in (, ) exponentiable in w.r.t. the Scott topology is exponentiable also in (, ). For any étale Lie groupoid G over a smooth manifold M, the groupoid convolution algebra of smooth functions with compact support on G has a natural coalgebra structure over the commutative algebra which makes it into a Hopf algebroid. Conversely, for any Hopf algebroid A over we construct the associated spectral étale Lie groupoid over M such that is naturally isomorphic to G. Both these constructions are functorial, and is fully faithful left adjoint to . We give explicit conditions under which a Hopf algebroid is isomorphic to the Hopf algebroid of an étale Lie groupoid G. 相似文献

A nonlinear map φ between operator algebras is said to be a numerical radius isometry if w(φ(T−S))=w(T−S) for all T, S in its domain algebra, where w(T) stands for the numerical radius of T. We construct n-dimensional counterparts of manifolds modeled on the space ?2 equipped by the bounded weak topology (-manifolds). For -manifolds we prove the characterization, triangulation and classification theorems. Using infinitesimals, we develop Malliavin calculus on spaces which result from the classical Wiener space by replacing with any abstract Wiener space .We start from a Brownian motion b on a Loeb probability space Ω with values in the Banach space is the standard part of a ∗finite-dimensional Brownian motion B. Then we define iterated Itô integrals as standard parts of internal iterated Itô integrals. The integrator of the internal integrals is B and the values of the integrands are multilinear forms on , where is a ∗finite-dimensional linear space over between the Hilbert space and its ∗-extension .In the first part we prove a chaos decomposition theorem for L2-functionals on Ω that are measurable with respect to the σ-algebra generated by b. This result yields a chaos decomposition of L2-functionals with respect to the Wiener measure on the standard space of -valued continuous functions on [0,1]. In the second part we define the Malliavin derivative and the Skorohod integral as standard parts of internal operators defined on ∗finite-dimensional spaces. Let J be the all-ones matrix, and let A denote the adjacency matrix of a graph. An old result of Johnson and Newman states that if two graphs are cospectral with respect to yJ − A for two distinct values of y, then they are cospectral for all y. Here we will focus on graphs cospectral with respect to yJ − A for exactly one value of y. We call such graphs -cospectral. It follows that is a rational number, and we prove existence of a pair of -cospectral graphs for every rational . In addition, we generate by computer all -cospectral pairs on at most nine vertices. Recently, Chesnokov and the second author constructed pairs of -cospectral graphs for all rational , where one graph is regular and the other one is not. This phenomenon is only possible for the mentioned values of , and by computer we find all such pairs of -cospectral graphs on at most eleven vertices. 相似文献

A relative presentation is a triple where A is a group, X is a set, and R is a set of words in the free product A∗F(X) where F(X) is the free group with basis X. In this paper the zero-divisor graph Γ(R) of a commutative reduced ring R is studied. We associate the ring properties of R, the graph properties of Γ(R) and the topological properties of . Cycles in Γ(R) are investigated and an algebraic and a topological characterization is given for the graph Γ(R) to be triangulated or hypertriangulated. We show that the clique number of Γ(R), the cellularity of and the Goldie dimension of R coincide. We prove that when R has the annihilator condition and ; Γ(R) is complemented if and only if is compact. In a semiprimitive Gelfand ring, it turns out that the dominating number of Γ(R) is between the density and the weight of . We show that Γ(R) is not triangulated and the set of centers of Γ(R) is a dominating set if and only if the set of isolated points of is dense in . 相似文献

Generalizing work of Gilmer and Heinzer, we define a t#-domain to be a domain R in which for any two distinct subsets and of the set of maximal t-ideals of R. We provide characterizations of these domains, and we show that polynomial rings over t#-domains are again t#-domains. Finally, we study overrings of t#-domains. 相似文献
