We investigate continuous variable (CV) quantum teleportation using relevant classes of non-Gaussian states of the radiation field as entangled resources. First, we introduce the class two-mode squeezed symmetric superposition of Fock states, including finite truncations of twin-beam Gaussian states as special realizations. These states depend on a set of free independent parameters that can be adjusted for the optimization of teleportation protocols, with an enhancement of the success probability of teleportation both for coherent and Fock input states. We show that the optimization procedure reduces the entangled resources to truncated twin beam states, which thus represents an optimal class of non-Gaussian resources for quantum teleportation. We then introduce a further class of two-mode non-Gaussian entangled resources, in the form of squeezed cat-like states. We analyze the performance and the properties of such states when optimized for (CV) teleportation, and compare them to the optimized squeezed Bell-like states introduced in a previous work [12]. We discuss how optimal resources for teleportation are characterized by a suitable balance of entanglement content and squeezed vacuum affinity. We finally investigate the effects of thermal noise on the efficiency of quantum teleportation. To this aim, a convenient framework is to describe noisy entangled resources as linear superpositions of non-Gaussian state and thermal states. Although the presence of the thermal component strongly reduces the teleportation fidelity, noisy non-Gaussian states remain preferred resources when compared to noisy twin-beam Gaussian states.  相似文献

基于单-双模组合压缩真空态一定范围内能够获得压缩增强的效果,引入单-双模组合压缩热态(DSMST),讨论其纠缠性质.利用Weyl编序算符在相似变换下的不变性,简洁方便地导出了DSMST的纠缠度-负对数值,并给出了当热效应存在时保持纠缠的条件.研究表明:与通常的双模压缩态相比,随着参数的增加,DSMST的纠缠度增加.作为DSMST的应用,利用其实现相干态的量子隐形传输.结果表明:不同于纠缠度随压缩参数增加,保真度获得改善是有条件的,该条件恰好就是一正交分量涨落出现压缩增强的参数区域.此外,解析推导了有效隐形传输保真度(1/2)的条件.  相似文献

The Markovian time evolution of the entropy production rate is studied as a measure of irreversibility generated in a bipartite quantum system consisting of two coupled bosonic modes immersed in a common thermal environment. The dynamics of the system is described in the framework of the formalism of the theory of open quantum systems based on completely positive quantum dynamical semigroups, for initial two-mode squeezed thermal states, squeezed vacuum states, thermal states and coherent states. We show that the rate of the entropy production of the initial state and nonequilibrium stationary state, and the time evolution of the rate of entropy production, strongly depend on the parameters of the initial Gaussian state (squeezing parameter and average thermal photon numbers), frequencies of modes, parameters characterising the thermal environment (temperature and dissipation coefficient), and the strength of coupling between the two modes. We also provide a comparison of the behaviour of entropy production rate and Rényi-2 mutual information present in the considered system.  相似文献

We investigate experiments of continuous-variable quantum information processing based on the teleportation scheme. Quantum teleportation, which is realized by a two-mode squeezed vacuum state and measurement-and-feedforward, is considered as an elementary quantum circuit as well as quantum communication. By modifying ancilla states or measurement-and-feedforwards, we can realize various quantum circuits which suffice for universal quantum computation. In order to realize the teleportation-based computation we improve the level of squeezing, and fidelity of teleportation. With a high-fidelity teleporter we demonstrate some advanced teleportation experiments, i.e., teleportation of a squeezed state and sequential teleportation of a coherent state. Moreover, as an example of the teleportation-based computation, we build a QND interaction gate which is a continuous-variable analog of a CNOT gate. A QND interaction gate is constructed only with ancillary squeezed vacuum states and measurement-and-feedforwards. We also create continuous-variable four mode cluster type entanglement for further application, namely, one-way quantum computation.  相似文献

We present a linear optical scheme for achieving a unity fidelity teleportation of a two-particle four- component squeezed vacuum state using two entangled squeezed vacuum states as quantum channel. The devices used are beam splitters and ideal photon detectors capable of distinguishing between odd and even photon numbers. We study quantum teleportation of single qubit information state using 3-qubit general entangled states. We propose a set of 8 GHZ-like states which gives (i) standard quantum teleportation (SQT) involving two parties and 3-qubit Bell state measurement (BSM) and (ii) controlled quantum teleportation (CQT) involving three parties, 2-qubit BSM and an independent measurement on one qubit. Both are obtained with perfect success and fidelity and with no restriction on destinations (receiver) of any of the three entangled qubits. For SQT, for each designated one qubit which is one of a pair going to Alice, we obtain a magic basis containing eight basis states. The eight basis states can be put in two groups of four, such that states of one group are identical with the corresponding GHZ-like states and states of the other differ from the corresponding GHZ-like states by the same phase factor. These basis states can be put in two different groups of four-states each, such that if any entangled state is a superposition of these with coefficients of each group having the same phase, perfect SQT results. Also, for perfect CQT, with each set of given destinations of entangled qubits, we find a different magic basis. If no restriction on destinations of any entangled qubit exists, three magic semi-bases, each with four basis states, are obtained, which lead to perfect SQT. For perfect CQT, with no restriction on entangled qubits, we find four magic quarter-bases, each having two basis states. This gives perfect SQT also. We also obtain expressions for co-concurrences and conditional concurrences.  相似文献

We study a scheme for quantum teleportation of a single-mode squeezed coherent state using entangled two-mode squeezed vacuum. We establish the analytic expression of displacement gain dependent fidelity in terms of the squeezing coherent parameter \(r\) and quantum channel parameter \(p\) . The dependence of the optimum displacement gain for teleporting a squeezed coherent state upon the EPR entanglement is discussed. It shows that the fidelity of teleportation can be improved by tuning the displacement gain. We find that the fidelity increases with the increase of EPR parameter, while it decreases with the increase of the squeezing coherent parameter of the signal. We get infinite squeezing as a resource is required for an ideal and perfect teleportation of unknown input states. We show that the nonclassical properties of an unknown state to be teleported can be preserved in the teleportation.  相似文献

We theoretically introduce a kind of non-Gaussian entangled resources, i.e., coherent photon-added two-mode squeezed thermal states (CPA-TMSTS), by successively performing coherent photon addition operation to the two-mode squeezed thermal states. The normalization factor related to bivariate Hermite polynomials is obtained. Based upon it, the nonclassicality and decoherence process are analyzed by virtue of the Wigner function. It is shown that the coherent photon addition operation is an effective way in generating partial negative values of Wigner function, which clearly manifests the nonclassicality and non-Gaussianity of the target states. Additionally, the fidelity in teleporting coherent states using CPA-TMSTS as entangled resource is quantified both analytically and numerically. It is found that the CPA-TMSTS is an entangled resource of high-efficiency and high-fidelity in quantum teleportation.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the quantum correlation of coupled qubits which are initially in maximally entangled mixed states in squeezed vacuum reservoir. We compare and analyse the effects of squeezed parameters on quantum discord and quantum concurrence. The results show that in squeezed vacuum reservoir, the quantum discord and quantum concurrence perform completely opposite behaviors to the change of squeezed parameters. Quantum discord survives longer with the increase of squeezed amplitude parameter, but entanglement death turns faster on the contrary. The results also indicate that the classical correlation of the system is smaller than quantum discord in vacuum reservoir, while it is bigger than quantum discord in squeezed vacuum reservoir. The quantum discord and classical correlation are more robust than quantum concurrence in the two reservoir environments, which indicates that the entanglement actually is easily affected by decoherence and quantum discord has stronger ability to avoid decoherence in squeezed vacuum reservoir.  相似文献

Using the expression of the fidelity for the most general Gaussian quantum states, the quantum fidelity is studied for the states of a harmonic oscillator interacting with an environment, in particular with a thermal bath. The time evolution of the considered system is described in the framework of the theory of open systems based on quantum dynamical semigroups. By taking a correlated squeezed Gaussian state as initial state, we calculate the quantum fidelity for both undisplaced and displaced states. The time evolution of the quantum fidelity is analyzed depending on the squeezing and correlation parameters characterizing the initial Gaussian state and on the dissipation constant and temperature of the thermal bath.  相似文献

We provide a quantum benchmark for teleportation and storage of single-mode squeezed states with zero displacement and a completely unknown degree of squeezing along a given direction. For pure squeezed input states, a fidelity higher than 81.5% has to be attained in order to outperform any classical strategy based on an estimation of the unknown squeezing and repreparation of squeezed states. For squeezed thermal input states, we derive an upper and a lower bound on the classical average fidelity which tighten for moderate degree of mixedness. These results enable a critical discussion of recent experiments with squeezed light.  相似文献

The quantum teleportation with the entangled thermal state is investigated based on the completely anisotropic Heisenberg chain in the presence of the externally inhomogeneous magnetic field. The effects of the anisotropy and magnetic field for the quantum fidelity are studied in detail. The zero temperature limit and the features of the nonzero temperature for this nonclassical fidelity are obt8ained. We find that the quantum teleportation demands more stringent conditions than the thermal entanglement of the resource by investigating the threshold temperature of the thermal concurrence and the critical temperature of the maximal teleportation fidelity. The useful quantum teleportation should avoid the point of the phase transition of the system and the anisotropy of the chain and the external magnetic field can control the applicability of the resource in the quantum teleportation.  相似文献

Results of experiments recently performed are reported, in which two optical parametric amplifiers were set up to generate two independently quadrature squeezed continuous wave laser beams. The transformation of quadrature squeezed states into polarization squeezed states and into states with spatial quantum correlations is demonstrated. By utilizing two squeezed laser beams, a polarization squeezed state exhibiting three simultaneously squeezed Stokes operator variances was generated. Continuous variable polarization entanglement was generated and the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen paradox was observed. A pair of Stokes operators satisfied both the inseparability criterion and the conditional variance criterion. Values of 0.49 and 0.77, respectively, were observed, with entanglement requiring values below unity. The inseparability measure of the observed quadrature entanglement was 0.44. This value is sufficient for a demonstration of quantum teleportation, which is the next experimental goal of the authors.  相似文献
