Let G be a countable discrete group with an orthogonal representation α on a real Hilbert space H  . We prove LpLp Poincaré inequalities for the group measure space L(ΩH,γ)?GL(ΩH,γ)?G, where both the group action and the Gaussian measure space (ΩH,γ)(ΩH,γ) are associated with the representation α  . The idea of proof comes from Pisier?s method on the boundedness of Riesz transform and Lust-Piquard?s work on spin systems. Then we deduce a transportation type inequality from the LpLp Poincaré inequalities in the general noncommutative setting. This inequality is sharp up to a constant (in the Gaussian setting). Several applications are given, including Wiener/Rademacher chaos estimation and new examples of Rieffel?s compact quantum metric spaces.  相似文献

For a Tychonoff space X  , we denote by Cp(X)Cp(X) and Cc(X)Cc(X) the space of continuous real-valued functions on X equipped with the topology of pointwise convergence and the compact-open topology respectively. Providing a characterization of the Lindelöf Σ-property of X   in terms of Cp(X)Cp(X), we extend Okunev?s results by showing that if there exists a surjection from Cp(X)Cp(X) onto Cp(Y)Cp(Y) (resp. from Lp(X)Lp(X) onto Lp(Y)Lp(Y)) that takes bounded sequences to bounded sequences, then υY is a Lindelöf Σ-space (respectively K-analytic) if υX has this property. In the second part, applying Christensen?s theorem, we extend Pelant?s result by proving that if X is a separable completely metrizable space and Y   is first countable, and there is a quotient linear map from Cc(X)Cc(X) onto Cc(Y)Cc(Y), then Y   is a separable completely metrizable space. We study also a non-separable case, and consider a different approach to the result of J. Baars, J. de Groot, J. Pelant and V. Valov, which is based on the combination of two facts: Complete metrizability is preserved by ?p?p-equivalence in the class of metric spaces (J. Baars, J. de Groot, J. Pelant). If X   is completely metrizable and ?p?p-equivalent to a first-countable Y, then Y is metrizable (V. Valov). Some additional results are presented.  相似文献

Starting with a regular symmetric Dirichlet form on a locally compact separable metric space XX, our paper studies elements of vector analysis, LpLp-spaces of vector fields and related Sobolev spaces. These tools are then employed to obtain existence and uniqueness results for some quasilinear elliptic PDE and SPDE in variational form on XX by standard methods. For many of our results locality is not assumed, but most interesting applications involve local regular Dirichlet forms on fractal spaces such as nested fractals and Sierpinski carpets.  相似文献

This paper proves three different coherence theorems for symmetric monoidal bicategories. First, we show that in a free symmetric monoidal bicategory every diagram of 2-cells commutes. Second, we show that this implies that the free symmetric monoidal bicategory on one object is equivalent, as a symmetric monoidal bicategory, to the discrete symmetric monoidal bicategory given by the disjoint union of the symmetric groups. In this work, we study the existence and regularity of solutions for some partial functional integrodifferential equations in Banach spaces. We suppose that the undelayed part admits a resolvent operator in the sense given by Grimmer in [R. Grimmer, Resolvent operators for integral equations in a Banach space, Transaction of American Mathematical Society 273 (1982) 333–349]. The delayed part is assumed to be locally Lipschitz. Firstly, we show the existence of the mild solutions. Secondly, we give sufficient conditions ensuring the existence of the strict solutions.  相似文献

This paper studies the coincidence of the τωτω and τδτδ topologies on the space of holomorphic functions defined on an open subset U   of a Banach space. Dineen and Mujica proved that τω=τδτω=τδ when U   is a balanced open subset of a separable Banach space with the bounded approximation property. In this paper we study the edge-magicness of graphs with equal size and order, and we use such graphs and digraph products in order to construct labelings of different classes and of different graphs. In this paper we introduce a new family of measures of divergence for the analysis of the degree of departure from a model with a constant hazard function and also for comparing if two models have proportional hazard rates. Our family of measures is based on the family of divergences introduced by Burbea and Rao (see [J. Burbea, C.R. Rao, On the convexity of higher order Jensen differences based on entropy functions, IEEE Transactions on Information Theory 28 (1982) 961–963]). Some well-known sets of data are reanalyzed using the new families of test statistics and confidence intervals introduced in this paper.  相似文献

In this paper, we formulate Wolfe and Mond–Weir type second-order multiobjective symmetric dual problems over arbitrary cones. Weak, strong and converse duality theorems are established under ηη-bonvexity/ηη-pseudobonvexity assumptions. This work also removes several omissions in definitions, models and proofs for Wolfe type problems studied in Mishra [9]. Moreover, self-duality theorems for these pairs are obtained assuming the function involved to be skew symmetric.  相似文献
