A novel glutathione-capped cadmium telluride quantum dots-based fluorescence “off–on” sensor was designed and applied for highly sensitive and selective monitoring of histidine in aqueous solution. To provide a platform for histidine detection, manganese ion was first employed as an effective quencher to decrease the fluorescence of glutathione-capped cadmium telluride quantum dots because of the binding of manganese ion to glutathione on the surface of quantum dots and the electron transfer from the photoexcited glutathione-capped cadmium telluride quantum dots to manganese ion. Due to its high binding affinity with manganese ion, histidine can make the manganese ion to be dissociated from the surface of glutathione-capped cadmium telluride quantum dots to form more stable complex with histidine in solution, and set free the luminescent glutathione-capped cadmium telluride quantum dots, thereby recovering the fluorescence of glutathione-capped cadmium telluride quantum dots. Experimental results showed that the recovered fluorescence intensity was directly proportional to the concentration of histidine in the range of 0.006 to 465.0 µg mL?1 with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.9977, and the detection limit (3σ/K) was 1.82 ng mL?1. Relevant experiments also revealed that the fluorescence sensor gives excellent selectivity for histidine over other common amino acids. To further investigate perfect analysis performance, this sensor was utilized to determine histidine in synthetic samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

A sensitive and simple method for the determination of luteolin (LTL) was developed based on the fluorescence quenching effect of LTL for thioglycolic acid–capped (TGA-capped) CdTe/CdS quantum dots (QDs). Under optimum conditions, a good linear relationship was obtained from 0.3 to 20.0 µg · mL?1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.9972, and the detection limit was 7.2 ng · mL?1. The fluorescence quenching mechanism has been proposed on the basis of electron transfer supported by ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) absorption, fluorescence (FL) spectroscopy. The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of LTL in commercial capsules and human urine samples. It manifested several advantages such as high sensitivity, short analysis time, low cost, and ease of operation.  相似文献

A novel series colorimetric and off–on fluorescent chemosensors (2a, 2b, 2c) were designed and synthesized, which showed reversible and highly selective and sensitive recognition toward Fe3+ over other examined metal ions. Upon addition of Fe3+, sensors (2a, 2b) exhibit remarkably and 2c exhibits moderate enhanced absorbance intensity and color change from colorless to pink in CH3OH–H2O(1:1, v/v). The three compounds (2a, 2b, 2c) may therefore be applicable as rhodamine-based turn-on type fluorescent chemosensors.  相似文献

In this paper, a rapid, simple and highly sensitive method with dual-readout (colorimetric and fluorometric) based on the nanometal surface energy transfer (NSET) between nitrogen-doped carbon quantum dots (NCQDs) and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) for detection of biothiols is described. Highly luminescent NCQDs were prepared via a simple one-step hydrothermal method by applying sucrose and glycine as carbon and nitrogen sources. The results showed the obtained NCQDs had an average particle diameter of 5 nm and highly luminescent. The maximum emission wavelength was 438 nm with an excitation wavelength of 360 nm. In this system, NCQDs and AuNPs were respectively treated as energy donors and energy acceptors, which enable the nanometal surface energy transfer (NSET) from the NCQDs to the AuNPs, quenching the fluorescence. However, biothiols was used as a competitor in the NSET by the strongly Au-S bonding to release NCQDs from the Au surface, which subsequently produces fluorescent signal recovery and the red-to-purple color change quickly. This probe showed rapid response, high selectivity and sensitivity for biothiols with dual colorimetric and fluorescent turn-on signal changes. The low detection limit was calculated as 20 nM by using L-cysteine acted as target melocules. The method was also successfully applied to the determination of biothiols in human serum samples, and the results were satisfying.  相似文献

A new rhodamine-based derivative bearing a naphthyridine group (compound 1) was synthesized as a colorimetric and fluorescent “off-on” chemosensor for Cu2+ in aqueous solutions. The sensing behaviors of 1 toward various metal ions in neutral aqueous solutions were investigated by absorption and fluorescence spectroscopies. Compound 1 is found to exhibit a significant increase in absorbance at 561 nm and an amplified fluorescence at 590 nm toward Cu2+ in a selective, sensitive and rapid manner. The quantification of Cu2+ by 1 using an absorption spectroscopy method was satisfactory in the linear working range 0.9–10 μM, with a detection limit of 5.4?×?10?8?M for Cu2+ and good tolerance of other metal ions. Upon addition of Cu2+, the spirolactam ring (colorless and nonfluorescent) of 1 was opened to ring-opened amide (red color and fluorescent) and a 1:1 stoichiochemetry for the 1-Cu2+ complex was formed with an association constant of 1.57?×?104?M?1.  相似文献

We study the effects of correlations between the real and imaginary parts of quantum noise on the intensity fluctuation for a single-mode laser. The analytic expressions of the intensity correlation function C(r) and the associated relaxation time Tc in the case of a stable locked phase resulting from the cross-correlation λq between the real and imaginary parts of quantum noise are derived by means of projection operator method. Based on numerical computations it is found that the presence of cross-correlations between the real and imaginary parts of quantum noise causes the intensity fluctuation to increase. A slowing-down phenomenon exists in the sense that Tc increases as a function of |λq|. Thus the decay o[ intensity fluctuation becomes slower.  相似文献

Polymer–clay nanocomposites have been prepared by melt blending of commercial organoclay Cloisite 15A with blends of polyethylenes (PE) and maleic-anhydride-grafted PE (PE/PE-g-MA) with wide range of composition. Three types of PE/PE-g-MA blends with different molecular structure, namely blends of high-density PE (HD) with HD-g-MA (HDMA), blends of low-density PE (LD) with LD-g-MA (LDMA), and blends of linear low-density PE (LL) with LL-g-MA (LLMA) were used. The influence of the molecular structure of the PE matrixes and the compatibility between the blend components on the morphology of the nanocomposites was studied. The thermal properties, microhardness, and transparency of the nanocomposites were investigated. The influence of the degree of exfoliation/intercalation on the materials characteristics is discussed.  相似文献

Interaction between beta-carboline-3-carboxylic acid N-methylamide, betaCMAM, and nucleobases, nucleosides and nucleotides is studied in the ground state with UV-visible, (1)H NMR and (31)P NMR spectroscopies and in the first excited state, with steady-state and time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy. Job plots show a predominant 1:1 interaction in both electronic states. Association constants are estimated from changes in the absorption spectra, and show that the strongest interaction is produced with the nucleosides: 2'-deoxyadenosine (dAdo) and thymidine (Thd), and with the mononucleotides: 2'-deoxycytidine 5'- monophosphate (5'-dCMP) and uridine 5'- monophosphate (5'-UMP). These results are corroborated by the upfield shifts of two (1)H NMR resonances of the betaCMAM indole group. The (31)P NMR resonance of nucleotides is shifted downfield, suggesting the presence of electrostatic or hydrogen bond interaction with betaCMAM. In the first electronic singlet excited state, static and dynamic quenching of betaCMAM emission is achieved upon addition of nucleobases, nucleosides and nucleotides. We report a novel method for measuring photo-induced birefringence of photosensitive fibres based on a fibre loop.The method is simple and is only slightly affected by the surroundings. We propose a scheme to implement a two-qubit Grover quantum search algorithm. The novelty in the proposal is that the motional state is introduced into the computation and the internal state within a single cold trapped ion.The motional and internal states of the ion are manipulated as two qubits by the laser pulses to accomplish anexample of a Grover algorithm based on the two qubits.
