The effect of the selective wet chemical etching of the emitting surface on the directivity pattern of radiation in the plane normal to the p-n junction is studied for InGaP/GaAs lasers with InGaAs quantum wells. It is found by atomic-force microscopy that the cylindrical lens (converging or diverging, depending on the type of etchant) is self-formed on the emitting surface due to the different etching rate of wide-gap layers (InGaP) and active layers (GaAs, InGaAs) of the lasers. By adjusting the corresponding etching time, the aperture angle of the laser radiation pattern in the plane normal to the p-n junction can be changed in the range of 57°–82° at the initial aperture angle at the half maximum level of 6°.  相似文献

Correlated signals of thermal acoustic radiation from heated sources extending in the transverse direction (a pair of narrow plasticine plates and a wide plasticine strip) are measured. The measurements are performed by multiplying together the signals that are shifted in time with respect to each other and detected by two piezoelectric transducers. The values of the correlated signals of thermal acoustic radiation are determined by the spatial variation of temperature in the medium under study.  相似文献

The spatial correlation function is measured for the pressure of thermal acoustic radiation from a source (a narrow plasticine plate) whose temperature is made both higher and lower than the temperature of the receiver. The spatial correlation function of the pressure of thermal acoustic radiation is found to be oscillatory in character. The oscillation amplitude is determined not by the absolute temperature of the source but by the temperature difference between the source and the receiver. The correlation function changes its sign when a source heated with respect to the receiver is replaced by a cooled one.  相似文献

A linear dependence of the output voltage of an acoustic thermometer on the temperature difference between the source and the piezoelectric transducer is demonstrated experimentally. The constant component of the output voltage is determined by the noise temperature of the receiving device. The main feature of the thermal acoustic radiation as a source of acoustic signals is that the signal is represented not by the total thermal radiation of the object, which is proportional to the absolute temperature of the latter, but by the part of this radiation that is proportional to the temperature difference between the object and the transducer.  相似文献

In this paper, the application of the pyroelectric detectors for Far-Infrared laser diagnostics on TOKAMAK plasma is described. We discovered experimentally that the Fabry-Perot interference could affect the performance of the pyroelectric detectors (PED). The improved pyroelectric detector (IPD) was developed for FIR laser coheront measuring. Some designing considerations about the pyroelectric detectors used in high temperature plasma conditions are mentioned.  相似文献

A Michelson interferometer working simultaneously at two wavelengths is used to follow the decay of the electron density ne along the axis of a short-circuited dc-argon arc. This paper proposes a laser interferometer for determining the straightness of a moving stage. The optical setup is described and the theory is derived. The results show that this interferometer not only overcomes the disadvantages of the conventional interferometers but also provides a higher sensitivity. Two experiments were carried out in this research. The first experiment verifies the validity of the theoretical derivation. The second experiment demonstrates that this interferometer could be adopted for straightness measurements.  相似文献

We describe an atom interferometer to study the coherence of atoms reflected from an evanescent wave mirror. The interferometer is sensitive to the loss of phase coherence induced by the defects in the mirror. 在噪声控制领域,声辐射阻是一个重要的声学变量,在产品的设计阶段,可以通过改变结构表面形状来改变结构的声辐射阻抗,从而达到降噪的目的。本文基于集中参数模型,设计了测量设备,搭建了实验测量系统,并通过对无限大障板上圆形活塞声源的声辐射阻的测量对影响实验测量结果的因素进行了研究,之后对消音器入口处辐射阻进行了测量。测量结果表明:该实验测量系统具有操作简单,测量方便快捷,测量结果精度高等特点,可用于确定结构表面声辐射阻矩阵。  相似文献

For the one-dimensional inverse problem of acoustothermography with correlation reception of thermal acoustic radiation, an integral equation is presented and experimentally verified. A method of solving the inverse problem is proposed. In order to study the acoustic radiation from the spherical cap transducer,a theoretical model is used by solving the wave equation in spherical coordinates using the method of separation of variables,based on the spherical harmonic Fourier transform and boundary condition.The calculation formulas for the far field radiated pressure and directivity of spherical cap are derived.Some theoretical results are presented in the form of far-field directivity patterns of the spherical cap transducer for various polar angles of the spherical cap,radii of sphere baffle and operating frequencies.Both the diameter of the sphere baffle and the wavelength determine the directivity of acoustic radiation from a spherical cap.When the frequency is lower or the wavelength is longer than the diameter of the sphere baffle,the acoustic radiation from a spherical cap is omnidirectional.With the increase of the frequency or the diameter of the sphere baffle,the acoustic radiation from a spherical cap is more directional and the beamwidth more tends to spherical cap angle.Furthermore,the ripple in the beam is more obvious.The high frequency spherical cap transducer was fabricated and the directivity pattern was tested and the measurement data is shown to coincide with the theoretical results.This research can provide a guideline for designing the spherical cap transducers and arrays.  相似文献

The acoustic wave propagation from a two-dimensional subwavelength slit surrounded by metal plates decorated with Helmholtz resonators(HRs) is investigated both numerically and experimentally in this work. Owing to the presence of HRs, the effective impedance of metal surface boundary can be manipulated. By optimizing the distribution of HRs,the asymmetric effective impedance boundary will be obtained, which contributes to generating tunable acoustic radiation pattern such as directional acoustic beaming. These dipole-like radiation patterns have high radiation efficiency, no fingerprint of sidelobes, and a wide tunable range of the radiation pattern directivity angle which can be steered by the spatial displacements of HRs.  相似文献

为了研究球冠型换能器的声辐射特性,在分离变量法求解球面坐标系下波动方程的基础上,采用基于球谐基傅里叶变换及边界条件的求解模型,给出了球冠型换能器声辐射的远场声压计算表达式和远场指向性表达式;仿真计算了球冠换能器的远场指向性随球冠极角、球半径及振动频率变化的特性,球冠所在球障板的直径和介质中声波的波长比决定着球冠声辐射指向性,在低频或波长大于球障板直径时,球冠声辐射呈无指向性,随着频率的增高即波长的减小或者球障板直径的增大,球冠声辐射的指向性越明显,波束开角越趋向于球冠的开角,而且波束开角内出现波浪状起伏越明显;试制了高频球冠型换能器基阵,测试了换能器基阵300 kHz的指向性,测试结果与理论计算相符合,验证了理论计算表达式的正确性,可为设计球冠型换能器及基阵提供理论指导。  相似文献

The space-time correlation function of thermal acoustic radiation pressure is measured for a stationary heated source (a narrow plasticine plate). The correlation dependence is obtained by the multiplication of two signals shifted in time with respect to each other and measured by two receivers. The dependence exhibits an oscillating behavior and changes sign when the source is displaced by half the spatial period of the correlation function.  相似文献

针对常规兵器试验测试领域全天时地面炸点测试问题,设计并开发了一种由对讲机、数据采集卡构建的声学炸点测试系统。系统采用遥控装置解决测量分站对讲机的发射控制问题,中心站以多对讲机作为信号接收装置,采用同步数据采集卡实时采集回传的声信号。提出并实现了一种基于爆炸能量边沿识别的时延估计技术,用于后期数据处理和炸点坐标计算。试验结果表明该系统可以实现兵器试验爆炸点的声学定位,系统开发周期短、可靠性高、适应性强,具有一定实用性和推广价值。  相似文献

A novel photodetection system for a homodyne distance measuring interferometer by means of fringe counting method is presented. The system is based on applying compact size integrated photodetector operating with fringe pattern having fixed, finite period. 13-element integrated photodiode arranged in novel signal processing scheme receives interference fringes movement. Additional lens is used to adjust the fringe period to photoelements’ distances. Due to the proposed configuration of the photoelement's signal processing and the applied lens the system has reduced sensitivity to interference fringe period errors caused by the angular misalignment of interfering beams. The theoretical analysis and experimental verification of the system metrological feasibilities are presented. Comparison of performance of examples of standard and novel detection systems is shown finally.  相似文献

提出了同时优化扬声器阵列的指向性和声功率级的方法。运用该方法可以优化扬声器阵列的输入电压分布,获得指向性和声功率级二者兼顾的扬声器阵列。本方法不必使用复杂的与频率相关的信号处理装置。模拟结果和实验测量结果表明该方法是可行的和有效的。  相似文献
