This study proposes a preference relation based evaluation framework to help the National Communication Commission (NCC) in Taiwan authorize a worldwide interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX) license under a fuzzy environment where the uncertainty, subjectivity and vagueness are dealt with linguistic variables parameterized by triangular fuzzy numbers. This study applies the fuzzy multi-criteria decision making approach to determine the importance weights of evaluation criteria and consolidate the performance ratings of possible alternatives. Aggregated the evaluators’ opinions toward the criteria and alternatives, the fuzzy preference relation approach is utilized to obtain the non-dominated degree of each alternative for the decision makers to make a final decision. Simultaneously, an empirical case involving sixteen quantitative and fifteen qualitative evaluation criteria, thirteen telecommunication applicants assessed by twelve specialists from various fields of telecommunication industry in Taiwan is solicited to demonstrate the proposed approach.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to present a novel fuzzy modified technique of order preference by a similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) method by a group of experts, which can select the best alternative by considering both conflicting quantitative and qualitative evaluation criteria in real-life applications. The proposed method satisfies the condition of being the closest to the fuzzy positive ideal solution and also being the farthest from the fuzzy negative ideal solution with multi-judges and multi-criteria. The performance rating values of alternatives versus conflicting criteria as well as the weights of criteria are described by linguistic variables and are transformed into triangular fuzzy numbers. Then a new collective index is introduced to discriminate among alternatives in the evaluation process with respect to subjective judgment and objective information. This paper shows that the proposed fuzzy modified TOPSIS method is a suitable decision making tool for the manufacturing decisions with two examples for the robot selection and rapid prototyping process selection.  相似文献

The international logistics centers choice problem is a very important issue in International logistics. The location choice problem usually involves numbers and words in which all of the criteria are weighted using words and the performance evaluations for all sub-criteria are either numbers or words. How to aggregate all of these data without losing information is a very daunting task using a type-1 fuzzy set (T1 FS) approach. This paper applies a new methodology—Perceptual Computer (Per-C)—to help solve this hierarchical multi-person multi-criteria decision making problem. The Per-C has three components: encoder, computing with words (CWW) engine and decoder. First, the interval approach (IA) is used to obtain interval type-2 fuzzy set (IT2 FS) word models for the words in a pre-specified vocabulary. Second, a linguistic weighted average (LWA) is used to aggregate all the data including numbers and words modeled by IT2 FSs. Finally, a centroid-based ranking method is used to rank the location choices, and a similarity measure is used to obtain similarities of the location choices. The decision-maker decides the winning location choice as the one with the highest ranking and least similarity to other locations.  相似文献

The theory of interval type-2 fuzzy sets provides an intuitive and computationally feasible way of addressing uncertain and ambiguous information in decision-making fields. The aim of this paper is to develop an interactive method for handling multiple criteria group decision-making problems, in which information about criterion weights is incompletely (imprecisely or partially) known and the criterion values are expressed as interval type-2 trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. With respect to the relative importance of multiple decision-makers and group consensus of fuzzy opinions, a hybrid averaging approach combining weighted averages and ordered weighted averages was employed to construct the collective decision matrix. An integrated programming model was then established based on the concept of signed distance-based closeness coefficients to determine the importance weights of criteria and the priority ranking of alternatives. Subsequently, an interactive procedure was proposed to modify the model according to the decision-makers’ feedback on the degree of satisfaction toward undesirable solution results for the sake of gradually improving the integrated model. The feasibility and applicability of the proposed methods are illustrated with a medical decision-making problem of patient-centered medicine concerning basilar artery occlusion. A comparative analysis with other approaches was performed to validate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.  相似文献

针对准则值为区间灰数直觉模糊数、准则权系数部分已知以及自然状态出现概率为灰数的多准则决策问题,提出一种结合前景理论和改进TOPSIS的决策方法。该方法首先定义了灰色直觉模糊数的前景价值函数和概率权重函数,并利用前景理论构建出前景决策矩阵;接着从两个方面对传统TOPSIS决策方法进行改进:(1)过定义方案间综合差异的概念,采用离差最大化思想,建立平均综合差异最大化规划模型,给出了一种兼顾主客观权重信息确定准则权系数的新方法;(2)用灰关联替换备选方案与正负理想方案的距离,据此刻画了各方案与正负理想方案的贴近度。进而利用改进TOPSIS决策方法中的综合贴近度对方案进行了排序。最后通过实例验证了该方法的有效性。  相似文献

Supplier selection is a highly important multi-criteria group decision making problem, which requires a trade-off between multiple criteria exhibiting vagueness and imprecision with the involvement of a group of experts. In this paper, a fuzzy multi-criteria group decision making approach that makes use of the quality function deployment (QFD) concept is developed for supplier selection process. The proposed methodology initially identifies the features that the purchased product should possess in order to satisfy the company’s needs, and then it seeks to establish the relevant supplier assessment criteria. Moreover, the proposed algorithm enables to consider the impacts of inner dependence among supplier assessment criteria. The upper and the lower bounds of the weights of supplier assessment criteria and ratings of suppliers are computed by using the fuzzy weighted average (FWA) method. The FWA method allows for the fusion of imprecise and subjective information expressed as linguistic variables or fuzzy numbers. The method produces less imprecise and more realistic overall desirability levels, and thus it rectifies the problem of loss of information. A fuzzy number ranking method that is based on area measurement is used to obtain the final ranking of suppliers. The computational procedure of the proposed framework is illustrated through a supplier selection problem reported in an earlier study.  相似文献

QUALIFLEX, a generalization of Jacquet-Lagreze’s permutation method, is a useful outranking method in decision analysis because of its flexibility with respect to cardinal and ordinal information. This paper develops an extended QUALIFLEX method for handling multiple criteria decision-making problems in the context of interval type-2 fuzzy sets. Interval type-2 fuzzy sets contain membership values that are crisp intervals, which are the most widely used of the higher order fuzzy sets because of their relative simplicity. Using the linguistic rating system converted into interval type-2 trapezoidal fuzzy numbers, the extended QUALIFLEX method investigates all possible permutations of the alternatives with respect to the level of concordance of the complete preference order. Based on a signed distance-based approach, this paper proposes the concordance/discordance index, the weighted concordance/discordance index, and the comprehensive concordance/discordance index as evaluative criteria of the chosen hypothesis for ranking the alternatives. The feasibility and applicability of the proposed methods are illustrated by a medical decision-making problem concerning acute inflammatory demyelinating disease, and a comparative analysis with another outranking approach is conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.  相似文献

研究只有部分权重信息且决策者对方案的偏好信息以模糊互反判断矩阵形式给出的模糊多属性决策问题。提出了一种基于目标规划模型的模糊多属性决策方法。该法首先基于模糊互反判断矩阵,利用转换函数将决策信息一致化,建立了一个目标规划模型.通过求解该模型确定属性的权重,然后运用加性加权法求出各方案的模糊综合属性值,并利用已有的三角模糊数排序公式求得决策方案的排序。文章最后把该法应用于解决风险投资领域中的项目评估问题。  相似文献

针对Pythagorean模糊信息的决策问题,构建广义Pythagorean模糊信息加权有序加权平均(PF-GWOWA)算子。首先,提出PF-GWOWA算子,并证明Pythagorean模糊广义加权平均(PF-GWA)算子、Pythagorean模糊加权有序加权平均(PF-WOWA)算子与Pythagorean模糊加权平均(PF-WA)算子均为PF-GWOWA算子的特例;其次,根据GWOWA算子属性综合权重计算模型,利用PF-GWOWA算子对信息进行集结;最后,通过算例分析和传统方法对比,说明本文提出方法的合理性与有效性。  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the problem of alternative-fuel buses selection using two novel fuzzy multiple criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods. Several types of fuels are considered as fuel modes, i.e., electricity, fuel cell (hydrogen), and methanol. For the purpose of determining appropriate fuel buses, many factors including quantitative and qualitative ones such as efficiency, price, and capability must be taken into account. In the first proposed method, linguistic variables are used to assess the ratings and weights for factors. These linguistic ratings can be expressed in trapezoidal or triangular fuzzy numbers. Then, a hierarchical MCDM method based on fuzzy-sets theory is proposed to deal with the fuel buses selection problem. To simultaneously determine the ranking order of all alternatives based on the concept of the TOPSIS by calculating the distances to the both fuzzy positive-ideal solution (FPIS) and fuzzy negative-ideal solution (FNIS), a closeness coefficient is defined. In the second presented method we extend preference selection index (PSI) method for fuzzy environment. In this method performance ratings of criteria evaluate by linguistic variable which can be expressed in trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. Finally, an example is shown to highlight the procedure of the proposed methods and compare the results of these methods with each other.  相似文献

A multicriteria fuzzy decision-making method based on weighted correlation coefficients using entropy weights is proposed under interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy environment for the some situations where the information about criteria weights for alternatives is completely unknown. To determine the entropy weights with respect to a decision matrix provided as interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs), we propose two entropy measures for IVIFSs and establish an entropy weight model, which can be used to determine the criteria weights on alternatives, and then propose an evaluation formula of weighted correlation coefficient between an alternative and the ideal alternative. The alternatives can be ranked and the most desirable one(s) can be selected according to the values of the weighted correlation coefficients. Finally, two applied examples demonstrate the applicability and benefit of the proposed method: it is capable for handling the multicriteria fuzzy decision-making problems with completely unknown weights for criteria.  相似文献

Selecting the appropriate acquisition mode for a required technology, is one of the critical strategic decisions in formulating a technology strategy. Although a number of factors were found to be influential in the choice of technology acquisition mode, it still remains a void in the literature how to make a strategic decision, based on a huge set of those factors with the help of a systematic approach. This study deals with the selection of technology acquisition mode as a multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) problem. The proposed solution to the problem in this study, is the analytic network process (ANP) approach. Since the ANP is a MCDM method that can accommodate interdependency among decision attributes, it is capable of providing priorities of alternatives with consideration of interrelationships among strategic factors. The 21 influential factors identified from the empirical studies are included as sub-criteria in the ANP model, and they are grouped into five criteria: capability, strategy, technology, market, and environment. The final decision can be made based on the resulting priorities of the alternative acquisition modes. The proposed approach is expected to effectively aid decision making on which mode is adopted for acquisition of required technologies. A case of a software company is presented for the illustration of the proposed approach.  相似文献

The theory of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets is useful and beneficial for handling uncertainty and imprecision in multiple criteria decision analysis. In addition, the theory allows for convenient quantification of the equivocal nature of human subjective assessments. In this paper, by extending the traditional linear assignment method, we propose a useful method for solving multiple criteria evaluation problems in the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy context. A ranking procedure consisting of score functions, accuracy functions, membership uncertainty indices, and hesitation uncertainty indices is presented to determine a criterion-wise preference of the alternatives. An extended linear assignment model is then constructed using a modified weighted-rank frequency matrix to determine the priority order of various alternatives. The feasibility and applicability of the proposed method are illustrated with a multiple criteria decision-making problem involving the selection of a bridge construction method. Additionally, a comparative analysis with other methods, including the approach with weighted aggregation operators, the closeness coefficient-based method, and the auxiliary nonlinear programming models, has been conducted for solving the investment company selection problem to validate the effectiveness of the extended linear assignment method.  相似文献

A multicriteria fuzzy decision-making method based on weighted correlation coefficients using entropy weights is proposed under intuitionistic fuzzy environment for some situations where the information about criteria weights for alternatives is completely unknown. To determine the entropy weights with respect to a set of criteria represented by intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs), we establish an entropy weight model, which can be used to get the criteria weights, and then propose an evaluation formula of weighted correlation coefficient between an alternative and the ideal alternative. The alternatives can be ranked and the most desirable one(s) can be selected according to the weighted correlation coefficients. 针对决策信息为Pythagorean模糊数,属性权重完全未知的风险型多属性决策问题,提出了一种基于Pythagorean模糊熵的考虑决策者后悔与失望规避心理行为的决策方法。首先,计算备选方案和理想点各属性的效用值,从而获得各备选方案的后悔-欣喜值、失望-愉悦值及感知效用值。其次,构建了一种Pythagorean模糊熵,并给出基于该Pythagorean模糊熵的属性权重确定方法,利用属性权重加权求和获得备选方案综合感知效用值,从而对方案进行排序。最后,通过算例说明方法的可行性和优点,并分析了后悔规避系数δ和失望规避系数τ对决策结果的影响。  相似文献

Although a number of recent studies have proposed ranking fuzzy numbers based on the deviation degree, most of them have exhibited several shortcomings associated with non-discriminative and counter-intuitive problems. In fact, none of the existing deviation degree methods has guaranteed consistencies between the ranking of fuzzy numbers and that of their images under all situations. They have also ignored decision maker’s attitude toward risk, which significantly influences final ranking result. To overcome the above-mentioned drawbacks, this study proposes a new approach for ranking fuzzy numbers that ensures full consideration for all information of fuzzy numbers. Accordingly, an overall ranking index is obtained by the integration of the information from the left and the right (LR) areas between fuzzy numbers, the centroid points of fuzzy numbers and the decision maker’s attitude toward risk. This new method is efficient for evaluating generalized fuzzy numbers and distinguishing symmetric fuzzy numbers. It also overcomes the shortcomings of the existing approaches based on deviation degree. Several numerical examples are provided to illustrate the superiority of the proposed approach. Lastly, a new fuzzy MCDM approach for generalized fuzzy numbers is proposed based on the proposed ranking approach and the concept of generalized fuzzy numbers. The proposed fuzzy MCDM approach does not require the normalization process and thus avoids the loss of information results from transforming generalized fuzzy numbers to normal form.  相似文献

This paper extends hierarchical analysis to the case where the participants are allowed to employ fuzzy ratios in place of exact ratios. If a person considers alternative A more important than alternative B, then the ratio used might be approximately 3 to 1, or between 2 to 1, and 4 to 1, or at most 5 to 1. The pairwise comparison of the issues and the criteria in the hierarchy produce fuzzy positive reciprocal matrices. The geometric mean method is employed to calculate the fuzzy weights for each fuzzy matrix, and these are combined in the usual manner to determine the final fuzzy weights for the alternatives. The final fuzzy weights are used to rank the alternatives from highest to lowest. The highest ranking contains all the undominated issues. The procedure easily extends to the situation where many experts are utilized in the ranking process, or to the case of missing data. Two examples are presented showing the final fuzzy weights and the final ranking.  相似文献
