Condensation copolymerization reactions of carbazole 3,6‐diboronate with 4,7‐bis(5‐bromo‐2‐thienyl)‐2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole (DTBT) only produce low‐molecular‐weight donor (D)‐π‐acceptor (A) copolymers. High‐molecular‐weight copolymers for use in optoelectronic devices are necessary for achieving extended π‐conjugation and for controlling the copolymer processibility. To elucidate the cause of the persistently low molecular weight, we synthesized three 3,6‐carbazole‐based D‐A copolymers using copolymerizations of N‐9′‐heptadecanyl‐3,6‐carbazole with DTBT, N‐9′{2‐[2‐(2‐methoxy‐ethoxy)‐ethoxy]‐ethyl}‐3,‐6‐carbazole with DTBT, and N‐9′‐heptadecanyl‐3,6‐carbazole with alkyl‐substituted DTBT. We investigated several parameters for their influence on molecular copolymer weight, including the conformation of the chain during growth, the solubility of the monomers, and the dihedral angles between the donor and acceptor units. Size exclusion chromatography, UV–vis absorption spectroscopy, and computational studies revealed that the low molecular weights of 3,6‐carbazole‐based D‐A copolymers resulted from conjugation breaks and the resulting high coplanarity, which led to strong interactions between polymer chains. These interactions limited formation of high‐molecular‐weight‐copolymers during copolymerization. The strong intermolecular interactions of the 3,6‐carbazole moiety were exploited by incorporating 3,6‐carbazole units into poly[9′,9′‐dioctyl‐2,7‐flourene‐alt‐5,5‐(4′,7′‐di‐2‐thienyl‐2′,1′,3′‐benzothiadiazole)] prepared from 9′,9′‐dioctyl‐2,7‐flourene and DTBT. Interestingly, the number average molecular weight increased gradually with increasing 2,7‐fluorene monomer content but the number of conjugation breaks was a range of 6–7. The hole mobilities of the copolymers were studied for comparison purposes. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem, 2011  相似文献

Four alternating arylamino‐functionalized copolymers were synthesized in a Suzuki copolymerization applying 4, 4′‐(2,7‐dibromo‐9H‐fluorene‐9,9‐diyl)dianiline, 4,4′‐(2,7‐dibromo‐9H‐fluorene‐9,9‐diyl)bis(N,N‐diphenylaniline), 4‐(3,6‐dibromo‐9H‐ carbazol‐9‐yl)aniline and 4‐(3,6‐dibromo‐9H‐carbazol‐9‐yl)‐N,N‐diphenylaniline in combination with 2,2′‐(9,9‐dioctyl‐9H‐fluorene‐2,7‐diyl)bis(1,3,2‐dioxaborinane). The resulting novel alternating copolymers were fully characterized. The copolymers revealed blue light emission and wide optical bandgaps of at least 2.93 eV for the fluorene‐based and 3.07 eV for the carbazole‐based polymers. The amino‐functions allow to tie semiconducting CdTe nanocrystals (NCs) and to synthesize a series of composites with CdTe NCs. Moreover, tuning the emission color over a wide range by tying these CdTe NCs results in a facile preparation of organic–inorganic semiconductor composites with emission colors “à la carte.” © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Four new soluble polymers containing a 2,7‐carbazole unit and a 2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole unit in the main chain were synthesized by Suzuki polycondensation. Variation of the substituent groups (R) at 5‐position of 2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole unit resulted in different color emission of the copolymers. Thus, when R was ? CH3 (or ? H), the polymer showed yellow–green (or red) emission; whereas the polymers showed the emission from green to yellow–green, when R was ? CH2(CH2)5CH3 or ? CH2OCH(CH3)2. To investigate the nature of the color change, a Gaussian 03 program was used for estimation of the dihedral angles between a 5‐R‐2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole unit and a 2,7‐carbazole unit. The results showed that the different substituents at 5‐position of 2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole brought about different the dihedral angles, which gave the different conjugation levels to the polymers. Hence, the tunablity of emission color may be attributed to the different conjugation levels between 2,7‐carbazole units and 5‐R‐2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole units induced by simply changing substituent groups at 5‐position of benzothiadiazole unit. Electrochemically, the copolymers exhibited a higher oxidation potential as well as the reversible reduction behavior bearing from 2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole unit. To investigate the electroluminescent properties of the polymers, the nonoptimized devices were fabricated and the results showed that the electroluminescent emission wavelength was basically similar to that of the photoluminescent. All polymers showed good thermal stability with 5 wt % loss temperature of more than 296 °C. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem 46: 1376–1387, 2008  相似文献

This article reports the synthesis, one‐ and two‐photon absorption, and excited fluorescence properties of poly(1,4‐diketo‐3,6‐diphenylpyrrolo[3,4‐c]pyrrole‐alt‐N‐octyl‐3,6‐carbazole/2,7‐fluorene) ( PDCZ / PDFL ). PDCZ and PDFL are synthesized by the Suzuki cross‐coupling of 2,5‐dioctyl‐1,4‐diketo‐3,6‐bis(p‐bromophenylpyrrolo[3,4‐c]pyrrole and N‐octyl‐3,6‐bis(3,3‐dimethyl‐1,3,2‐dioxaborolan‐2‐yl)carbazole or 2,7‐bis(3,3‐dimethyl‐1,3,2‐dioxaborolan‐2‐yl)fluorene and have number‐average molecular weights of 8.5 × 103 and 1.14 × 104 g/mol and polydispersities of 2.06 and 1.83, respectively. They are highly soluble in common organic solvents and emit strong orange one‐ and two‐photon excited fluorescence (2PEF) in THF solution and exhibit high light and heat stability. The maximal two‐photon absorption cross‐sections (δ) measured in THF solution by the 2PEF method using femtosecond laser pulses are 970 and 900 GM per repeating unit for PDCZ and PDFL , respectively. These 1,4‐diketo‐pyrrolo[3,4‐c]pyrrole‐containing polymers with full aromatic structure and large δ will be promising high‐performance 2PA dyes applicable in two‐photon science and technology. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The postmodification of poly[9‐(2‐hexyldecyl)‐9H‐carbazole‐2,7‐diyl] ( P1 ) upon its reaction with N‐bromosuccinimide affords exclusive and full bromination of the 3,6‐positions of the carbazole repeat units to yield poly[3,6‐dibromo‐9‐(2‐hexyldecyl)‐9H‐carbazole‐2,7‐diyl] ( P2 ). Brominated polymer P2 can be used as a precursor for further functionalization at the 3,6‐positions with the desired functional group to afford other useful polymers. Polymer P2 has hence been reacted with copper(I) cyanide to afford poly[3,6‐dicyano‐9‐(2‐hexyldecyl)‐9H‐carbazole‐2,7‐diyl] ( P3 ). Full substitution of the bromide groups with nitrile‐functional groups has been achieved. The preparation and structural characterization of polymers P2 and P3 are presented together with studies on their electronic conjugation and photoluminescence properties. Cyclic voltammetry studies on polymer P3 indicate that the new polymer is easier to reduce (n‐dope) but more difficult to oxidize than its unsubstituted counterpart ( P1 ) as a result of the introduction of the electron‐withdrawing nitrile‐functional groups at the 3,6‐positions on the carbazole repeat units on the polymer chains. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. To exploit an effective way to improve polymeric photovoltaic performance, a series of dithiophene‐benzothiadiazole‐alt‐fluorene copolymers containing carbazole groups at C‐9 positions of the alternating fluorene units (PFO‐FCz‐DBT) were synthesized and characterized. The effect of the carbazole groups on the optophysical, electrochemical, and photovoltaic properties of these copolymers was investigated. By comparison, this type of copolymers with carbazole units exhibited significantly improved photovoltaic properties than poly(2,7‐(9,9‐dioctyl‐fluorene)‐alt‐5,5‐(4′,7′‐di‐2‐thienyl‐2′,1′,3′‐benzothiadiazole) (PFO‐DBT) in the bulk heterojunction solar cells. A maximum power‐conversion efficiency (PCE) of 2.41% and a highest short‐circuit current density (Jsc) of 9.68 mA cm?2 were obtained for the PFO‐FCz‐DBT30, which are about two times higher than the corresponding levels for the PFO‐DBT30. This work demonstrated that introducing a hole‐transporting carbazole unit into copolymer is a simple and effective method to improve the Jsc and PCE. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The preparation of triarylamine N‐functionalized 3,6‐linked carbazole homopolymers as well as alternating copolymers with 2,5‐diphenyl‐[1,3,4]oxadiazole and benzo[1,2,5]thiadiazole was undertaken using Suzuki cross‐coupling polymerization procedures associating 3,6‐bis(4,4,5,5‐tetramethyl‐[1,3,2]dioxaborolan‐2‐yl)‐9‐(bis[4‐(2‐butyl‐octyloxy)‐phenyl]‐amino‐phen‐4‐yl)‐carbazole and, respectively, 3,6‐dibromo‐9‐(bis[4‐(2‐butyl‐octyloxy)‐phenyl]‐amino‐phen‐4‐yl)‐carbazole, 2,5‐bis(4‐bromo‐phenyl)‐[1, 3,4]oxadiazole, and 4,7‐dibromo‐benzo[1,2,5]thiadiazole. Both the carbazole homopolymer and alternating copolymer with 2,5‐diphenyl‐[1,3,4]oxadiazole were found as wideband gap materials emitting in the blue part of the electromagnetic spectrum while the carbazole alternating copolymer with 4,7‐benzo[1,2,5]thiadiazole had a narrower band gap and emitted in the orange part of the electromagnetic spectrum. The new polymers are thermally stable up to 300 °C. A discussion of the electrochemical and optical properties of the new polymers is presented. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of N‐alkyl/aryl carbazole 3,6‐substituted arylene trifluorovinyl ether (TFVE) monomers were synthesized in high purity and yield from a concise four‐step synthesis using carbazole as a starting material. Condensate‐free, step‐growth chain extension of the monomers afforded perfluorocyclobutyl (PFCB) arylene ether homo‐ and copolymers as solution processable, optically transparent blue‐light emissive materials. Arylene TFVE monomers and conversion to PFCB arylene ether polymers were structurally elucidated and purity confirmed by high resolution mass spectroscopy, NMR (1H, 13C, and 19F) spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography, and attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared analysis. Thermal analysis by differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis revealed glass transition temperatures >150 °C and onset of decomposition in nitrogen >410 °C with 40 wt % char yield up to 900 °C. Optical and electrochemical studies included solution (tetrahydrofuran) and solid state (spin cast thin film) UV–vis/fluorescence spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry which showed structure dependence of these blue emissive systems on the nature of the N‐alkyl/aryl carbazole substitution in either homo‐ or copolymer configurations. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Newly designed 2H‐benzimidazole derivatives which have solubility groups at 2‐position have been synthesized and incorporated into two highly soluble carbazole based alternating copolymers, poly[2,7‐(9‐(1′‐octylnonyl)‐9H‐carbazole)‐alt‐5,5‐(4′,7′‐di(thien‐2‐yl)‐2H‐benzimidazole‐2′‐spirocyclohexane)] (PCDTCHBI) and poly[2,7‐(9‐(1′‐octylnonyl)‐9H‐carbazole)‐alt‐5,5‐(4′,7′‐di(thien‐2‐yl)‐2H‐benzimidazole‐2′‐spiro‐4′′‐((2′′′‐ethylhexyl)oxy)‐cyclohexane)] (PCDTEHOCHBI) for photovoltaic application. These alternating copolymers show low‐band gap properties caused by internal charge transfer from an electron‐rich unit to an electron‐deficient moiety. HOMO and LUMO levels are –5.53 and –3.86 eV for PCDTCHBI, and –5.49 and –3.84 eV for PCDTEHOCHBI, respectively. Optical band gaps of PCDTCHBI and PCDTEHOCHBI are 1.67 and 1.65 eV, respectively. The new carbazole based the 2H‐benzimidazole polymers show 0.11–0.13 eV lower values of band gaps as compared to that of carbazole based benzothiadiazole polymer, poly[N‐9′‐heptadecanyl‐2,7‐carbazole‐alt‐5,5‐(4′,7′‐di‐2‐thienyl‐2′,1′,3′‐benzothiadiazole)] (PCDTBT), while keeping nearly the same deep HOMO levels. The power conversion efficiencies of PCDTCHBI and PCDTEHOCHBI blended with [6,6]phenyl‐C71‐butyric acid methyl ester (PC71BM) are 1.03 and 1.15%, respectively. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. An investigation into the preparation of poly(9‐alkyl‐9H‐carbazole‐3,6‐diyl)s with palladium catalyzed cross‐coupling reactions of 3‐halo‐6‐halomagnesio‐9‐alkyl‐9H‐carbazoles, generated in situ from their corresponding 3,6‐diiodo‐ and 3,6‐dibromo‐derivatives was undertaken. Monomers with a range of alkyl group substituents with different steric requirements were investigated and their effects on the polymerization were studied. The effects of the nature of halogen substituents on the polymerization reaction were also investigated. Structural analysis of the polymers revealed exclusive 3,6‐linkage between consecutive carbazole repeat units on the polymer chains. The physical properties of these polymers were investigated with spectroscopic, thermal gravimetric analysis, and electrochemical studies. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A novel series of well‐defined alternating poly[2,7‐(9,9‐dihexylfluorenyl)‐alt‐pyridinyl] (PDHFP) with donor‐acceptor repeat units were synthesized using palladium (0)‐catalyzed Suzuki cross‐coupling reactions in good to high yields. In this series of alternating polymers, 2, 7‐(9,9‐dihexylfluorenyl) was used as the light emitting unit, and the electron deficient pyridinyl unit was employed to provide improved electron transportation. These polymers were characterized by 1H‐NMR and 13C‐NMR, gel permeation chromatography (GPC), thermal analyses, and UV‐vis and fluorescence spectroscopy. The glass transition temperature of copolymers in nitrogen ranged from 110 to 148 °C, and the copolymers showed high thermal stabilities with high decomposition temperatures in the range of 350 to 390 °C in air. The difference in linkage position of pyridinyl unit in the polymer backbone has significant effects on the electronic and optical properties of polymers in solution and in film phases. Meta‐linkage (3,5‐ and 2,6‐linkage) of pyridinyl units in the polymer backbone is more favorable to polymer for pure blue emission and prevention of aggregation of polymer chain than para‐linkage (2,5‐linkage) of the pyridinyl units. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of poly[9‐(heptadecan‐9‐yl)‐9H‐carbazole‐2,7‐diyl‐alt‐(5,6‐bis‐(octyloxy)‐4,7‐di(thiophen‐2‐yl)benzo‐[1,2,5]‐thia‐diazole)‐5,5‐diyl] compositions containing various ratios of 3,6‐carbazole was synthesized for testing in a polymer solar cell. An appropriate amount of 3,6‐carbazole units incorporated into the copolymer improved intermolecular charge transport, whereas excess amount of 3,6‐carbazole units temporarily seized on the partial negative charge generated in the conjugation breaks. We extensively studied the effects of the incorporated 3,6‐carbazole units on the intermolecular interactions, which can affect nongeminated recombination in bulk heterojunction‐polymer solar cells. These properties were investigated using photocurrent‐ and light intensity‐dependent measurements and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Novel polyfluorene copolymers with pendant hydroxyl groups, poly[2,7‐(9,9‐dihexylfluorene)‐2,7‐(9,9‐bis(6‐hydroxyhexyl)fluorene)‐co‐2,7‐(9,9‐dihexylfluorene)‐1,4‐phenylene] (PFP‐OH) and poly[2,7‐(9,9‐dihexylfluorene)‐2,7‐(9,9‐bis(6‐hydroxyhexyl)fluorene)‐co‐2,7‐(9,9‐dihexylfluorene)‐4,7‐(2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole)] (PFBT‐OH) were prepared. Acid‐catalyzed polycondensations of tetraethoxysilane were carried out in the presence of these polymers to obtain homogeneous hybrids. Photoluminescence spectra of these hybrids suggested the polymers were immobilized in silica matrix retaining their π‐conjugated structures. Further, hybrids of coat film were prepared utilizing perhydropolysilazane as a silica precursor. Their optical properties were examined. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The synthesis, one‐ and two‐photon absorption (TPA) and emission properties of two novel 2,6‐anthracenevinylene‐based copolymers, poly[9,10‐bis(3,4‐bis(2‐ethylhexyloxy)phenyl)‐2,6‐anthracenevinylene‐alt‐N‐octyl‐3,6‐carbazolevinyl‐ene] ( P1 ) and poly[9,10‐bis(3,4‐bis(2‐ethylhexyloxy)phenyl)‐2,6‐anthracenevinyl‐ene‐alt‐N‐octyl‐2,7‐carbazolevinylene] ( P2 ) were reported. The as‐synthesized polymers have the number‐average molecular weights of 1.56 × 104 for P1 and 1.85 × 104 g mol?1 for P2 and are readily soluble in common organic solvents. They emit strong bluish‐green one‐ and two‐photon excitation fluorescence in dilute toluene solution (? P1 = 0.85, ? P2 = 0.78, λem( P1 ) = 491 nm, λem( P2 ) = 483 nm). The maximal TPA cross‐sections of P1 and P2 measured by the two‐photon‐induced fluorescence method using femtosecond laser pulses in toluene are 840 and 490 GM per repeating unit, respectively, which are obviously larger than that (210 GM) of poly[9,10‐bis‐(3,4‐bis(2‐ethylhexyloxy) phenyl)‐2,6‐anthracenevinylene], indicating that the poly(2,6‐anthracenevinylene) derivatives with large TPA cross‐sections can be obtained by inserting electron‐donating moieties into the polymer backbone. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In the present study, a new (E)‐rich‐enyne π‐conjugated polymer containing a carbazole was designed and synthesized. Two different synthesis methods of poly[N‐(2‐ethylhexyl)‐3,6‐carbazolyleneethynylene‐(E)‐vinylene] (PCZEV) have been prepared from 3,6‐diethynyl‐9(2‐ethylhexyl)carbazole by using the palladium‐carbene‐catalyzed reaction and/or by using the organolanthanide‐catalyzed reaction leading to well‐defined polymer, and their general properties were studied. Compared to poly[N‐(2‐ethylhexyl)‐3,6‐carbazolyleneethynylene] (PCE), the UV‐vis absorption and photoluminescence of the PCZEV was red‐shifted, which indicates the extension of conjugation length. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Poly(N‐alkyl‐3,6‐dihydroxy‐2,7‐carbazole) which should be soluble and have phenolic function was synthesized through different two routes. The former method was a direct synthesis by polymerizing a 2,7‐dibromo‐3,6‐dihydroxycarbazole monomer using Ni(cod)2, which only gave a low molecular weight polymer. The latter method was an ether cleavage reaction of methoxy groups in a precursor polymer, poly(3,6‐dimethoxycarbazole), using BBr3, which gave successfully the objective polymer that has a number average molecular weight of 4300 g/mol comparable to the precursor polymer. They showed large spectral changes in photoabsorption and fluorescence on addition of base. They also showed redox behavior similar to a hydroquinone/benzoquinone couple investigated by cyclic voltammetry. These new functions could be derived from the phenolic hydroxy group in the carbazole unit. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. Chem. 2018 , 56, 2039–2044  相似文献

A set of novel conjugated polyfluorene co‐ polymers, poly[(9,9′‐didecylfluorene‐2,7‐diyl)‐co‐(4,7′‐di‐2‐thienyl‐ 2′,1′,3′‐benzothiadiazole‐5,5‐diyl)‐co‐(pyrene‐1,6‐diyl)], are synthesized via Pd(II)‐mediated polymerization from 2,7‐bis(4′,4′,5′, 5′‐tetramethyl‐1,3,2‐dioxaborolan‐2‐yl)‐9,9′‐di‐n‐decylfluorene, 4, 7‐di(2‐bromothien‐5‐yl)‐2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole, and 1,6‐dibromopyrene with a variety of monomer molar ratios. The field‐effect carrier mobilities and optical, electrochemical, and photovoltaic properties of the copolymers are systematically investigated. The hole mobilities of the copolymers are found to be in the range 7.0 × 10?5 ? 8.0 × 10?4 cm2 V?1 s?1 and the on/off ratios were 8 × 103 ? 7 × 104. Conventional polymer solar cells (PSCs) with the configuration ITO/PEDOT:PSS/polymer:PC71BM/LiF/Al are fabricated. Under optimized conditions, the polymers display power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) for the PSCs in the range 1.99–3.37% under AM 1.5 illumination (100 mW cm?2). A new strategy to realize efficient white‐light emission from a binary fluorene‐based copolymer (PF‐Phq) with the fluorene segment as a blue emitter and the iridium complex, 9‐iridium(III)bis(2‐(2‐phenyl‐quinoline‐N,C3′)(11,13‐tetradecanedionate))‐3,6‐carbazole (Phq), as a red emitter has been proposed and demonstrated. The photo‐ and electroluminescence properties of the PF‐Phq copolymers were investigated. White‐light emission with two bands of blue and red was achieved from the binary copolymers. The efficiency increased with increasing concentration of iridium complex, which resulted from its efficient phosphorescence emission and the weak phosphorescent quenching due to its lower triplet energy level than that of polyfluorene. In comparison with the binary copolymer, the efficiency and color purity of the ternary copolymers (PF‐Phq‐BT) were improved by introducing fluorescent green benzothiadiazole (BT) unit into polyfluorene backbone. This was ascribed to the exciton confinement of the benzothiadiazole unit, which allowed efficient singlet energy transfer from fluorene segment to BT unit and avoided the triplet quenching resulted from the higher triplet energy levels of phosphorescent green emitters than that of polyfluorene. The phosphorescence quenching is a key factor in the design of white light‐emitting polyfluorene with triplet emitter. It is shown that using singlet green and triplet red emitters is an efficient approach to reduce and even avoid the phosphorescence quenching in the fluorene‐based copolymers. The strategy to incorporate singlet green emitter to polyfluorene backbone and to attach triplet red species to the side chain is promising for white polymer light‐emitting diodes. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Poly(9,9‐dihexylfluorene‐2,7‐vinylene‐alt‐dibenzothiophene‐2,8‐vinylene) (PS) and poly(9,9‐dihexylfluorene‐2,7‐vinylene‐alt‐dibenzothiophene‐5,5‐dioxide‐2,8‐ vinylene) (PSO) as well as corresponding model compounds were synthesized by Heck coupling. Both the polymers and model compounds were readily soluble in common organic solvents such as tetrahydrofuran, dichloromethane, chloroform, and toluene. The polymers showed a decomposition temperature at ~430 °C and a char yield of about 65% at 800 °C in N2. The glass‐transition temperatures of the polymers were almost identical (75–77 °C) and higher than those of the model compounds (26–45 °C). All samples absorbed around 390 nm, and their optical band gaps were 2.69–2.85 eV. They behaved as blue‐greenish light emitting materials in both solutions and thin films, with photoluminescence emission maxima at 450–483 nm and photoluminescence quantum yields of 0.52–0.72 in solution. Organic light‐emitting diodes with an indium tin oxide/poly(ethylene dioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonic acid)/polymer/Mg:Ag/Ag configuration with polymers PS and PSO as emitting layers showed green electroluminescence with maxima at 530 and 540 nm, respectively. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Poly(5,6‐difluoro‐2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole‐alt‐9,9‐dioctylfluorene) was successfully synthesized via direct arylation polycondensation of 5,6‐difluoro‐2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole and 2,7‐dibromo‐9,9‐dioctylfluorene. The reaction conditions were optimized, and a polymer with number‐average molecular weight (Mn) of 41,000 was obtained by using Pd(OAc)2, PtBu2Me‐HBF4, pivalic acid, K2CO3, and toluene as catalyst, ligand, additive, base, and solvent, respectively. The polycondensation was also performed with 5,6‐dioctyloxy‐2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole or 2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole as the comonomer, and the results indicate that the introduction of electron‐withdrawing fluorine atoms at the ortho‐positions to the C? H bonds is essential for the reactivity of the direct arylation. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. Chem. 2014 , 52, 2367–2374  相似文献
